The verbal adj. is used in a report of ii/B.C. regarding the peculations of certain officials, P Tebt I. 24 .63 , one of the charges against them being that they had wormed themselves (αὑτοὺς ἐνειληκότων ) into certain positions ἀντιθέταις τῆς καθ᾽ ἑαυτοὺς ἀσχολία ( l. ας ), inconsistent with their own work (Edd.).
