(12th book), where as a charm against gout the sufferer is to write certain magic words on a gold leaf, and to add ὡς στερεοῦται ὁ ἥλιος ἐν τοῖς ὀνόμασι τούτοις καὶ ἀνακαινίζεται καθ᾽ ἑκάστην ἡμέραν , οὕτω στερεώσατε τὸ πλάσμα τοῦτο . . .
