σαρκικός [page 569] = fleshly ( carnalis ), with the nature and characteristics of σάρξ , as distinguished from σάρκινος , fleshy ( carneus ), made or composed of σάρξ ; but in Hellenistic Greek the distinction between adjectives in ικός and ινος must not be pressed too far.
