Curtius, § 1; Vanicek, p. 2f)), the curve or inner angle of the arm: δέξασθαι εἰς τάς ἀγκάλας, Luk_2:28. The greeks also said ἀγκάς λαβεῖν ἐν ἀγκάλαις περιφέρειν, etc., see ἐναγκαλίζομαι.
