Moulton & Milligan — Vocabulary of the Greek NT
προβιβάζω [page 538]
The use of προβιβάζω in the LXX = give instructions (e.g. Exo_35:34 , Deu_6:7 ) may be held to determine the translation being instructed for προβιβασθεῖσα in Mat_14:3 : see Field Notes , p. 11, and add Musonius p. 60 .5 προβιβάζειν νέους εἰς φιλοσοφίαν . In Kaibel 947 .1 προβιβασθείς is used apparently with the literal meaning being led forward.
