lit. a little boat ( Mar_3:9 : Vg navicula ), but hardly to be distinguished from the ordinary πλοῖον ( Joh_6:22 ; Joh_6:24 ) : cf. Ostr 1051 .4 (A.D. 101) πλοιαρίου , and the late P Gen I. 14 .6 (Byz.) τὰ ναῦλα τοῦ μικροῦ πλοιαρίου . For the double dim. πλοιαρίδιον (not in LS 8 ), cf. P Cairo Preis 48 .8 (ii/A.D.) where it is apparently interchangeable with πλοῖον καὶ τὸ μὲν πλοῖόν σοι , ὡς ἠθέλησας , σκέψομαι . καλῶς δ᾽ ἔχει σε ἐνθάδε ἐλθόντα μετ᾽ ἐμοῦ μένειν μέχρι τὸ π̣λοιαρίδιον εὑρῶμεν . Πλοιάριον refers to a lamp of some kind in P Grenf II. 111 .26 (v/vi A.D.) πλοιάρ (ια ) χαλκ (ᾶ ) δ̄ .
