Ἁγιότης , as a title, is found in the late P Giss I. 55 .5 (vi/A.D.) addressed by one papa or bishop to another ἠξιώθην . . . γράψαι πρ [ὸ ]ς τὴν σὴν ἁγιότητ̣[α ]. For a similar use of ἡ ἁγιωσύνη with reference to an ἐπίσκοπος , see the Pelagia-Legenden (ed. Usener) p. 10 .2 , cf. p. 8 .11 .
