For περισσῶς , superfluously, with reference to what precedes, cf. P Amh II. 132 .2 (early ii/A.D.) περισ <σ >ῶς μοι ἔγραψας περὶ τοῦ μισθοῦ τῶν ἐργατῶν , it was unnecessary for you to write to me about the wages of the labourers (Edd.) In P Tebt II. 488 (A.D. 121 2) περισσῶς καὶ νοῖν ( l. νῦν ) ἐνκαλεῖς the adv. has rather the meaning exceedingly, as in Act_26:11 . See further Blass-Debrunner § 60, 3.
