[SYNONYMS: πατροως, πατρικός: on the distinction of the grammarians (see Photius, Suidas, Ammonius, etc. under the words) according to which πατροως is used of property descending from father to son, πατρικός of persons in friendship or feud, etc., see Ellendt, Lex.
