παραβάλλω [page 480] The RV rendering of Act_20:15 , παρεβάλομεν εἰς Σάμον , we touched at Samos, is supported by P Petr II. 13 (5) .4 (B.C. 258 253) ο [ὐ ]κ ἔδει μὲν οὖν σε παραπορεύεσθαι ἀλλὰ καὶ πρὸς ἡμᾶς παραβαλεῖν ὥρ [ας ] μόριον , where Mahaffy renders, you ought, indeed, not to have passed us by in this way, but to have landed with us for a quarter of an hour : but see Field, Notes , p. 131.
