Thayer's Greek Lexicon

Ὀζίας (L T Tr WH Ὀζείας (cf. Tdf. Proleg., p. 84; WHs Appendix, p. 155, and see εἰ, ἰ)), Οζιου (but cf. Buttmann, 18 (16)), ὁ, (ςΛζΔΜιΘδ and ςΛζΔΜιΘδεΜ, strength of Jehovah, or my strength is Jehovah), Ozias or Uzziah, son of Amaziah, king of Judah (circa) (2Ki_15:30 ff): Mat_1:8 f, where the Evangelist ought to have preserved this order: Ιωραμ, Οχοζιας, Ιωας, Ἀμαζιας, Ὀζίας. He seems therefore to have confounded Οχοζιας and Ὀζίας; see another example of (apparent) confusion under Ιεχονιας. (But Matthew has simply omitted three links; such omissions were not uncommon, cf. e. g. 1Ch_6:3 ff and Ezr_7:1 ff See the commentators.)

Mounce Concise Greek Dictionary
