μετοικεσία , transportation, deportation. The verb μετοικέω is supplied by A. W. Mair and W. M. Ramsay in a Phrygian epitaph of about the middle of iv/A.D. in honour of C. Calpurnius Collega Macedo θεοῦ προνοίᾳ καὶ ἱερῶν ἀνγέλων συνοδίᾳ με [τοικήσαντα ] εἰς [ο ]ὐρανὸν ἐξ ἀνθρώπων (see CR xxxiii. p. 2).
