III) οὗτος οὖν θεωρήσας με ὡς προσεδρεύοντα καθ᾽ ήμέραν ὡσεὶ δεδίλανται , seeing me in daily attendance he has as it were turned coward (Edd.), though watched will translate it here; ib. 61( b ) .33 (B.C. 118 7) ἠξίου [ν ] . . . συνθεωρεῖσθαι , conquiri, and again .373 θεωρῆσ [θαι ( l. τεθεωρῆσ [θαι ) ἐκ τῆς ] γε [γεν ]ημένης εἰκασίας μετὰ ταῦτα , it was perceived from the subsequent estimate. But whether the verb belonged to the Volkssprache (Blass N. T. Grammatik .2 , p. 59, s.v . ὁρᾶν ) or not, it was hardly a synonym of ὁράω : cf. the use of the two verbs in Joh_16:16 (Abbott Joh. Voc. , p. 104 ff.). MGr θωρῶ = θεωρῶ (see Thumb Hellen. , p. 17).
