ἐπιτίθημι [page 248] ἐπιτίθημι is construed with the acc. and dat., as in Act_28:10 , in BGU IV. 1208 i. 4 (B.C. 27) ὃ ἐπιτέθ [εισα ]ι̣ τοῖς παῤ αὐτοῦ [πιττάκ ]ιον , ib. 1139 .7 (B.C. 5) Π̣α̣ρ̣θ̣ο̣ς . . . α̣ὐ̣τ̣η̣̑ ἐπέθηκεν Π̣ρ̣ι̣μ̣α (cf. Mar_3:16 ff. ), P Ryl II. 81 .9 ( c.
