The derived meaning of treachery, fraud, is illustrated by P Oxy 1. 62 .10 (iii/A.D.) ἵνα μὴ ἐκ τῆς σῆς ἀμελείας ἐνέδρα περὶ τὴν ἐμβολὴν γέηται , in order that there may be no fraud in the lading through any neglect of yours (Edd.) : cf. ib.
