(Haggai) the Glorious Trumph O Our Lord

Willie Mullan · 48:59

The sermon explores the sovereignty of God as revealed in Haggai, contrasting the great tribulation with the glorious triumph of Christ.
In this sermon, the preacher focuses on the book of the Prophet Haggai, specifically the first three chapters. He emphasizes the importance of learning the essential lesson that God has taught through this book. The sermon highlights the power and authority of God, who can overthrow kingdoms and destroy the strength of nations. The preacher encourages the audience to seek God and learn from the example of the ruler mentioned in the book, who was obedient to God's teachings. The sermon concludes by mentioning the significance of the ruler's role in history and how it relates to the overall message of the book.

The Book of the Prophet came by, and there are seven chapters, and we're going through from verse 20 to the end of the chapter. Just four verses between 20, 21, 22, 23. Actually, we have only three verses because I've already timed the first century when we were looking up a lexicon that came out here.

And so, we just need to read it over, and then we'll get into the next. You will notice that out of the three verses we have left, 21, 22, 23, that I have seven headings for you. And finding seven headings in three verses is such a good exposition.

You're not missing much. And when you see the three verses under seven headings, you will find that they divide themselves into three subjects. The great tribulation, and the glorious triumph.

So that's what we're looking after today, these three verses, these seven headings, these two great truths. The great tribulation that shall come upon the kingdoms of the heathens, and the glorious triumph of our Lord Jesus Christ when he comes to make. And that's the thing we're after.

Verse 13. And he turned to great of the Lord, came unto him, lying in the fourth and twentieth day of the month. That is, the fourth and twentieth day of the ninth month.

If you let your eyes go back to verse 10, because it was in the fourth and twentieth day of the ninth month. In the second year of Judaism, that he began to speak the fourth message. And then somewhere, about two years, the Lord gave him another message.

We'll be looking at the days in the proper pitch, verse 20 here. And we found that he preached in the first chapter, in the sixth month, in the first day of the month. And when he didn't preach again until the fifth verse of the first chapter, it was in the fourth and twentieth day of the sixth month.

That's twenty-four days later. Then the second chapter began in the tenth month. And then we found out that in the fourth and twentieth day of the ninth month.

And here we are again in the fourth and twentieth day of the month, the ninth month. Five messages. There were months in between when he didn't say a word.

He must have been alone with God. And then on this particular day, of this particular month, he preached twice. He was just a man that was at God's disposal.

He could either sit down and wait on the Spirit ruling. Or he could preach twice in the one day, or more if God gives up. But the reason's all about Him.

But here's what the Lord said to him on the fourth and twentieth day of the ninth month, the first twenty months. And preach to Zerubbabel, governor of Judah. And I want you to notice as you go by that this message, this last one, it's for Zerubbabel, governor of Judah.

And so it's bringing him lessons to learn. Great lessons for the governor to learn. That's exactly where I got the different wording from.

And of course they divide into the two big subjects. Now I want you to notice this first lesson. It's the essential lesson that Zerubbabel has to learn.

It is very essential that we learn that God is sovereign. He's the one who's got to say it. It's to Zerubbabel, governor of Judah, saying, I will take the heavens and the earth.

I will overthrow the throne of the kingdom. I will destroy the strength of the kingdom of the heathen. Notice the I-L-L at the top.

God is sovereign. You know, this is tremendous, isn't it? This brings us face to face with the sovereignty of God. You know, it's good for us to know that all the time, that God rules in the kingdom of men.

Well, there are lots of times to just lift your eyes beyond the clouds and the heavens, and say God is still on the surface. That's a rough time. Remember, no matter how stormy it may get down here on the new earth, remember God never loses His grip on the heavens.

And remember that at all times God is in full control. God never loses control. If the world were to get into a state where God's authority is in that place, but remember that God rules in the kingdom of men.

You know, Matthew together has learned that God rules according to His will in the army of heaven, and the army of hell, and the army of heaven, and the army of hell, and the army of hell, and the army of heaven, and the army of hell, and the army of hell, and the army of heaven, and the army of hell, and the army of hell, and the army of hell, and the army of hell, and the army of hell, and the army of hell, and the army of hell, and the army of hell, and the army of hell, and the army of hell, and the army of hell, and the army of hell, and the army of hell, and the army of hell, and the army of hell, and the army of hell, and the army of hell, This is an essential lesson. Let's follow on closely with this one, because this is a universal lesson. It seems that they say now in this message, verse 31, I will take the heavens.

And yes, this gives you an idea about the heavens. You know there are mighty things in the heavens, but you do know that the sun, and the moon, and the stars are there. These three planets, the moon, with this heavenly movement, are there by itself, because mankind, with God, will take that one.

You just think you are listening to this and reading with me, telling me where it happened in the past. You tell me. Come on, let me get on with it.

Oh, I know the others from Edmund, 1914. Oh, I know all of them. Edmund made a horrible sign, and Hitler sent a few bombers over, and took the cities.

You just tell me where the hell are these cities. And I'll tell you that it's yet to happen. And I'll tell you that it will happen.

Let's go back to Revelation, where we were last week for a moment. And we're at the sixth chapter. Revelation chapter six.

And this is the chapter where the Lord opened a field. And oh, I wish we had time to go down this little bit by little bit, but that won't happen this evening. We just have to have a look at what is in the sixth scene.

Now watch this, this is verse four, verse 86. And I, that's John, I beheld, John Blocky is allowed to watch this. I beheld when he, that is the Lord Evil, when he had opened the field, and lo, there was a great earthquake.

What earthquake was it? And the sun became black as a cloth of hair, and the moon became as blood, and the stars of heaven fell on to the earth. Even as they did, two tops of hair on finely plaited wasps did flit. Then she is sickened of opulence.

You know, that's a good thing for life, don't you? And so it did for me. And it was down to God to put him up in the tree. He dared, he was strong enough to get in the water, really strong enough to take a trip.

He came down to the tree, to the tree, and he jumped right up. You don't think that God's going to do the heavens. He's really going to do the heavens.

Never happened. Ah, but it will happen all right. Happened, this is what he said.

I want you to know who I am. I just want you to know who I am. The only power that's leading me is that I'm no master of the world.

I want you to know who I am. I'm God. And all that's left, I want to tell you what I'll do in the day to come.

This is a universal lesson for you. I'll shake the whole universe. I'll shake the whole universe.

The dead will be. Here's what will happen when it happens. He says this, that the king, and the kings of the earth, and there's an after the kings, all the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every volcano, and every big mountain, hid themselves in the dams, and in the rocks of the mountains, and said to the mountains and rocks, tell them, and hide us from the kings of kings.

Let's keep it on the truth. And they'll be really scared, won't they? You know, that's one final night of the two worlds. I've been famous for instance, sitting at the back seat of the Eiffel Tower.

Oh gosh, who's asking me for a day or two? But it came to me, it took me out of the morning, walking on the shore, got the mercy of God, and I'll be forever grateful to Him. And one day when we walked along the shore, it was lush, and it was like down under the rocks, it was lush. He said to me, after, wouldn't it be a joyful day when they would come here, and crawl on the rocks.

I thought about it. You'll never see me again. But it all happened over.

All happened. In the worst envy that we ever had, or that London ever had, there was nobody punching on to the rocks, waiting for them to fall on them. But it all happened.

One of the young women in the class said to me last Tuesday, I want you to see the caliber of the women we have. She said to me, I never thought it was as light, and that these kings, and the rich men, and the great men, and teachers, and so on, that they'll take to the mountains and rocks, fall upon us, and hide us from the face of Him that sits upon the throne. She said, Pastor, I didn't know that they knew that He was on the throne.

But they'll know me. They'll know me if He is. They'll know you.

They'll know you'll be standing, shaking in the truth, and they'll know that God is there. Pastor, it's all down the hall. Come on, come pray.

Let's go on in rows, and we'll see what we can do. It'll be gone. It'll be gone.

My child will not have it from me. They'll know that God is in detention. And they'll say, This will be saying, God's trying to meet you in grace, and in love, and in mercy now.

But there's no telling if He'll meet you in love. And it's all up to Him. He will do it.

It says verse 17 of that chapter. For the great day of His birth is come. The day of His birth.

You know, friends, if you look back at your own life, that's the day of His birth. And if you see Him standing, on the stairs, doors of life, talking, and speaking, and raising, and begging, and calling, that's the day of His birth. Oh, the day for His birth to come.

Oh, come with me. He says, I wish that the heavens were so above already, and every king, and every rich man, and every fool would cry out, Oh, God! Much easier for some of you to get on than you get on in chapter one. You're not big enough.

You think you're tough. God will scare away. No toughness in you.

And God begins to shape this world. You see how many big men there are? There are none. Oh, my children! You know, He said, Man is an only child.

You remember John the King preaching that. He said, Chains, a glass toppled, will come down. He said, Chains, a glass toppled, will come down.

Ministers, a glass toppled, will fall on them. Some of them, a glass toppled, will fall on them. I wish to the rest of you here, to the rest of us, that we didn't get the hold of this.

I want you to get this. That when this day comes, this great day, this horrible day, there'll be one crying, and it's always here. It's the crying of the heavens.

It's the sun will become dark, and the moon will become abundant, and the star will fall on the earth. And you know, if you pray, the sun, and the moon, and the star, who's the truth? That they'll lead you back to them. It's just like the star that led the white man.

It will lead you back to this day every time. It will only happen on this particular day. In the way of the Lord, it's a period of time.

Not the twenty-four hours, but that's the time. Now, let's get back to this little portion that we're at. Because we have looked at the essential lesson of the universal sovereignty of God.

And we've looked at this universal lesson, and I thought you'd see the ability of God, God can shape the whole lot of us. And then we come to verse 22, and he says, and I will overthrow the throne of the kingdom. And there's an old translation of that that says, I will overthrow every throne of the kingdom.

And you know things, this is an international lesson. And now God brought the throne of all the kingdoms down until the kingdoms become the kingdoms of the Lord and His Son, by every able value. And He will deal with all the thrones.

I know that there are a lot of them empty, but where they're empty, they've got so-called presidents, and they've got leaders. And God will deal with the whole house of them. I wouldn't allow me to choose the kingdoms, but I choose one of them being dealt with.

It's Egypt, and it's 32. The prophet says, of Egypt, that's 32. This is a very interesting one, that's why I'm selecting this one.

But I can find all thrones being toppled on this particular day or period, the day of the Lord's wrath. Now this is Egyptian 32. Verse 1, And it came to pass in the seventh year, in the first month, in the first day of the month, that the word of the Lord came unto me, that is Ezekiel, saying, Son of man, that we have a lamentation for Pharaoh, king of Egypt.

Now this is dealing with the Egyptian. I know the Pharaoh Hamdan, but I also know that Nazareth is in his place. He's the Pharaoh of Egypt tonight.

And you'll see he's a wonderful Pharaoh. Now what's more to say here, Son of man, that we have a lamentation for Pharaoh, king of Egypt, and say unto him, Thou art not a young lion of the nation, and thou art not a wheel in the sea, and thou shalt not force with thy ribbons and soldiers to water with thy feet and follow their ribbons. Now says the Lord God, I will therefore spread out my net over thee with a company of many people, and they shall bring thee up in my net.

Then will I lead thee upon the land. I will cast these forts upon the open field. I will cause all the founts of the heavens to lean upon thee, and I will fill the peaks and the whole earth with thee, and I will lay thy flesh upon the mountains and fill the valleys with thy height, or with thine army, as it is.

I will also water with thy blood the land where thou shalt put it, even though the mountains and the rivers shall be full of thee. And then I shall put thee out, or then I shall block thee out of the Pacific. I will cover the heavens and make the stars thereof dark.

I will cover the sun and the birds and the moon. So that's the plan. In days, every day.

Oh, you're getting another little picture now. This is not so much the universal that we have now. It's the international scene where God's giving us thorns and leaves him Egypt.

Oh, what nonsense! Oh, nonsense doesn't come from God. Oh, God has an aim for Egypt and it's coming to Egypt whether they like it or not. In the sense it has.

It's a wonderful book you have, Mary. It's so wonderfully written. It's beyond all phases.

We're back in Maybine and we're at the second chapter and we're in the 22nd verse. Now, we have looked at this essential lesson that God suddenly has got. And we looked at that universal lesson how he took the heavens and the earth and we saw the ability of God.

And we were looking just now at this international lesson where he's dealing with all the thrones of every kingdom. And we saw the majesty of God for he's king of kings and lord of lords. And now, let's have a look at this one.

Now, this is what I call the universal lesson. He says, verse 22 in the second phrase, I will destroy the face of the kingdoms of the heathens and I will destroy the prophets and those that lie to men and the horses and their riders shall come down. You know, this is a tremendous one because here we see all the foot and fury of God thrown against the people of the kingdom.

And you're hearing this, the throne now and seeing the strength of the kingdom of the people of the heathens. You know, our God's going to shape this world one day. And when our God shapes it, not only will kings but every sinner will tremble.

God's going to deal with every man yet from the face of the earth in that day it is known as suffering time. And all these characters. But it sounds so wonderful to me about that.

It's both a case revelation and there are many steps in the road. It's wonderful how these things join together and it's very wonderful for me to notice how quickly we change it to the rule. You know, there's a day coming when God's going to really shape this world and when God's all that will happen is a full round time.

We're in each chapter and here we find the angels sounding trumpet and every time they sound something happens on earth. We don't care if they say something. And the first angel sounded and upon a hill and fire men were withdrawn and they were cast upon the earth.

And the third part of trees was burned up and all green grass was burned up. You know, there's a day in the history of the death of Jesus Christ when he reaches and he spots a person who's afraid but he's found it liberally. They just couldn't believe all told two hundred years back they couldn't believe that a third part of the trees on this world could be burned up so they started to sing the right tune and they got rid of it.

The fire takes us all with you tonight. We have no trouble at all. There's no way in that that God can burn this world tonight.

The Russians can do it now. They can leave and burn all the trees hardly enough to take a notion. And there's a day coming when the pine forest is going to get loose across the road in the dark and the third part of all the trees and all the green grass everywhere.

We are on fire. We will get hurt. No wonder they'll take a notion.

I tell you friend, I never came to know what the problem was going to be. Never. And when it happens, man will tremble.

It's a shocking thing. What's this? This is the second angel coming. They say the second angel comes and there's a great mountain burning fire on the top of the tree and the third part of the tree that came down and the third part of the trees which were in the tree and the light died and the third part of the tree was destroyed.

So there'll be nothing left for the female, you know. Oh, God! That's cruel, you know. You're doing that all the time.

Oh, my God, what an awful night it will be when the third part of the sheep are burnt up. That's right. Don't think the pot in the head bringing the God expounding it expounds itself now.

The gates have got as many Pallalus Nephiles out there as there are now with a couple of submarines to do all the damage you want. Then from there to heaven. You know, it's time to entrust them to the rule of God.

Oh, God! Don't you worry for the wolf. I'm wolfy enough to say it. I'm big enough.

What do you think? They'll go to the fourth part there. I don't want to waste time and you can read the rest if you like. There's twelve and there's fourteen to find it in the third part of the sun which is written third part of the moon third part of the stars and me.

I'll be honest, it's me. Come on, you expositors and argue. I'd also tell you apart sometimes.

Talk about it. Come on, you know, I've seen about it. This is the same day, isn't it? This won't happen twice or three times, you know.

It'll just happen once and I'm done for the day. You need to get to the next chapter to see what will happen to man. They're only looking at trees and fish and ships and sun and moon and stars.

Here's the ninth chapter. Look at it. That's here.

In verse seventeen verse eighteen isn't I near? Chapter nineteen. For we see with the third part of men killed by the fire by the smoke by the burning stone we take it out of their mouth. Then through they come the third part.

The building of twenty-one thousand in the clouds of night. Seventy-thousand of whom will be dead seven times. When the new brand is revealed God will reveal to the world the wrath of the cold of his mouth and tongue.

Until every millionth hour. Oh, the atheistic monotheistic devil that's a victim of the hawk is unable to climb the third or the next final moment that God is there. Never read the Bible because it was hard to understand the papers and what you know.

And if you have time to look if you have time to look you should go and look you should see what's in there. They belong here. The black is made of iron and this is a tremendous poverty here.

And death is a process of action. I will restore the throne of the kingdom and I will restore victorious because the rider men and the horses and the riders will come down. Now here's a book that they must make.

Everyone by the sword of his brother in our garden is going to use the sword of And they're doing so many wonderful things in the heavens and I'm quite certain they're doing wonderful things. So God sent two men away up there to walk across and to send that mighty instrument that he knew means many So those men were going and they Man who provided for them for many times a hundred years of Peter and You know what he's been in for hours? You know what he's done? It's been hours! Out of town! And he won't drop in on his head! One of the day it will be. When we leave the house and tell them the problem.

That's what we'll do. I'm partly allowed to do it. And God will use me to smite that beast.

Every time I wish for it to be done. Have a look at our diastasis for the moment. I'm just trying to give you little snippets to go on with.

So that you'll catch this properly. Verse 6, don't forget this. Little connection.

Isaiah 13, verse 6. Holy be He. For the day of the Lord is upon us. And it will come as a destruction upon the almighty.

And it certainly will. Those who shall all hands be faint. And every man fast to rest.

That's why I'm not afraid to throw my weight out against the cross. At least to face the cross. That's one sure reason.

Yes, they shall be afraid. Their minds and thoughts shall take hold of them. They shall be in pain as a woman that shall veil us.

They shall be amazed whether they are. Their faces shall be afraid. Behold, the day of the Lord is upon us.

Cruel, broke with wrath and tears of anger. The lay the land desperate. He shall destroy the city.

There are haunts of it. For the stars of heaven. And the tongues of nations thereof.

Shall not give their light. The tongues of the darkened. He will destroy himself.

The Lord's head ostensibly. Indefinitely. Lord, spend a long time Spend a long long years to be loved.

That's all. But certainly one of these. Which is ought to be called The great redemnation.

It's the day of God's wrath. It's the day of the Lord's wrath. God has come out of his pure energy.

God has come out of the anger of the man. I will go back to it again. If we follow those old truths that you can find, it's all there for you.

Now, you saw the universal lesson. I'm very sick. I'm a little bit sore.

I'm in a sock. That's the sublimity of God. You saw that universal lesson of keeping the heavens and the earth.

That's just the ability of God. And you saw that international lesson when he will deal with the throne. That's the majesty.

And you saw that universal lesson when he deals with mankind. That's just the philosophy of God. I will destroy the face of the evil.

And this was a esoteric lesson teaching us that God will use the heavens as his throne. Now, this is the day he wanted to get down to the top. With a judgment in that, he said, It's a very important day, as you know.

You do know. We are not going to lose it. It's such a good day.

I'll be brought into the room of the Lord. I can't have him do it. Bring him over the bowels, straight to bed.

I'll be brought into the room of the Lord. I want you to know who I am. God, I'll look after you.

You worry yourself. I'll deal with the heavens, and the earth, and the thrones, and the men. And I'll do it my way.

I want it to be such a day. In my day. That's the day.

Now, what's this? Because this is very beautiful. In that day, says the Lord of Hosts, will I keep thee, O Sir Rubaboo, my servant, the son of Sheolgill, at the Lord's, and will meet thee as a piglet. Now, that's when we come to the dispensation of the petition.

You know, you're picking up now to know that the Rubaboo of that day is dead. He's dead. Now, wouldn't you ever guess that the Rubaboo was the governor of Judah.

And that happens to be one of the titles of our Lord Jesus. And that makes the Rubaboo a picture. Now, if you'd like to have a look at it there, do you see it? It says, verse 21, speak to Sir Rubaboo, now what's the next word? Governor.

That's what he is. He's the governor. Governor of Judah.

Now, when Micah was prophesying, Micah was used to God, he was a prophet. And once he came to Bethlehem, and I think he must have stood on the hills around Bethlehem, Mr. Collins and I were on the hills of Bethlehem one day, and he must have looked down and said, Down Bethlehem, in chapter. They are least among the thousands of Judah.

Oh, my dear sir, he cometh who shall be covenant. You know, this is exactly what's supposed to be Matthew 2, isn't it? Have a look at it, just to make sure, for the younger ones. It's always good to put a little book on this box better than I do.

It is Matthew 2, and the wise men are coming for me to Jerusalem, saying in verse 2, Where is he that is born King of the Jews? And the head of the king heard them talk, and he gathered the chief priests and scribes together, and demanded of them that Christ should be born. And they said unto him, and they used the scriptures all right, in fact, in the name of Judah, for thus it was written by the prophet, And down Bethlehem, in the land of Judah, art not being least among the princes of Judah, for out of thee shall come forth a governor, captain of kings, that shall be a true mighty lord. Ah yes, you see, that's what we're up now.

In the last day, in the last day, when God speaks to them, God will bring Christ forth, as the governor. And to Google, but he's only a picture. He's ahead of the words.

He's only a picture, and God is using him as a picture. It is in that sense. Now I'll just let you see it happening, and then you'll know that I'm not going off the rails.

And after what some of them hear, if they want to trust them, and they don't bring them any room to get in on, they keep their mouth shut, right? I hope they're not in the country of Spain, ending last of all. Oh yes. Now let's go to Zechariah.

We're at Shebai, and the next book is Zechariah. And this is very thrillingly fast. Zechariah chapter thirteen.

We're at the end of the book. And I want you to watch the phrase that we're at, because it's a distance-based lesson we're learning. See how it begins, in God's name.

Isn't that tremendous? Now this provides a sense of prayer, by the way it has for so many. It says, The worthy of the will of the Lord, for Israel, which is the Lord, which takes its course to heaven, and there is the foundation of the earth, and forms the spirit of man within him, whether the right belief in a God. Behold, I will lift you up, and I shall set you free, of all people on the rock, when they shall be in the sea, both against Judea and Jerusalem, and in that day.

And it tells you what will happen. Again, verse four. In that day.

I will smite every horse, with astonishment, and drive you with madness. Verse six. In that day.

It's the same way, isn't it? Verse eight. In that day. In verse ten.

I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and supplication. Verse 11. In that day.

And then we're into chapter 13. In that day. And then verse two of chapter 13.

It shall come to pass. In that day. And this was all done in chapter 13.

And then it comes to chapter 14. Behold the day of the Lord comes. And thy spoils shall be in the midst of thee.

For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem, to battle, and the cities shall be taken, and the houses rivaled, and the women ravished, and not of the city shall go forth into captivity, and the residues of the people shall not be cut off from the city. Then shall the Lord go forth and fight against those nations upon his kingdom of justice. So stand in that day upon the Mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east.

Go on, try and finish your lines if you'd like. The Mount of Olives happens to be the Mount of Olives. On the east happens to be the east.

And in that day happens to be that day. And the Lord will come back right down, right on down. And his people, those people that live, will stand in that day on the Mount of Olives.

He's coming back for real. Very wonderful. Yes, this is what God is trying to get over to the root of the worship.

Now what is left? I'll take the heavens, the earth, and I will control the rain, and I will be strong. And in that day, when the sun and the moon and the sun are all being thrown about, I will be Christ. That's it.

Isn't that beautiful? You know what the sickness really is, don't you? Well, for those who have believed, I'm telling you it's very fast. And it will make you Christ. And the biggest thing you do is barking, you know, or putting a finger on your... It's the one that does it.

It's the Mount of Olives. And it's very close by. Such a powerful, wonderful Lord.

And every knee shall bow, and every thumb shall come and touch the feet. It's that kind of thing I want to say. God's time is mine.

That day, as I said a little bit, somewhere down there, it's not too far away, because even I was so dull. I could see the things being made ready for this dreadful, awful, terrible moment. But before that day comes, Christ will come to the earth to take His people home because we are not appointed unto that.

When we have the gospel, we turn to God for my good, to serve the living and true God, and to wait for His Son from heaven who shall deliver us from the wrath to come. Say Hallelujah. Praise the Lord.

Come into the prayer room. This shows us that we are there. Hallelujah.

Come inside. Hallelujah. Come on in, my children.

You've already been here. And they've put it up to me with themselves. And so have they put it up to me.

Now we will follow this through next week and through the whole day in the land of Heaven. Dear Lord, we bow at our feet, we thank you for thy word. Some of you did good, you put in more.

And some of us have had Bibles for years, and we've never read these phrases until tonight. Oh God, forgive us. Lord, we thank Thee for what art Thou didst make us to do before that day, and how wonderfully Thou didst do things.

And so after a while, Thou sent us again. We thank Thee that Thou didst help us. Thank You that You've created us.

Thank You that You've retained us. Lord, help us to live in the light of these things. Lord, fill me in.

Let me know these things. What manner of person ought me to be in all holy conversation with God? Thank You. Oh God, help us to live literally.

To retain our nature. Help us to walk hundreds. Help us to serve Thee with sobering and with God-wishing, knowing that the coming of the Lord is at hand.

Bless the crowd. Speak to sinners. Help them, Lord, to flee from the wrath of God.

And save us from the wrath of God. Fork out in our fear. Look on us for that nature.

Amen.
