Trevor Baker (date of birth unknown – ) is a Canadian Christian singer-songwriter, minister, and evangelist whose music and outreach focus on sharing the Gospel with the lonely and broken. Raised on a small farm in Saskatchewan, Canada, Baker grew up in a non-churchgoing family marked by hardship—his father stuttered from trauma, and three uncles struggled with alcoholism. At 20, the suicide of his best friend plunged him into despair, nearly driving him to take his own life. A chance encounter with a compassionate preacher at a wedding in his early 20s led to a tearful conversion, igniting a desire to tell others about God’s comfort, though self-doubt initially silenced him. In his late 20s, Baker began singing after picking up a guitar, launching a full-time ministry in 2000. Since 2019, he has led an outreach under God’s Last Mile Ministries, targeting the elderly, truckers, prisoners, and the heartbroken—those “walking the last mile” of life or loss. Based in Tuxford, Saskatchewan, with his wife Jennifer, he has performed over 1,700 concerts across North America, blending “new country” sounds with lyrics tackling sin, repentance, and the church’s drift from biblical truth. A personal tragedy reshaped his mission, deepening his reliance on God’s grace. With two grown daughters and two granddaughters, Baker’s ministry remains non-denominational, reaching beyond church walls to fairs, schools, and streets, offering hope through song.
