Brothers, I thought before we say goodbye, we could sing this hymn. Ajit, could you pull it up? Sitting at the feet of Jesus, I was reminded of that, even listening to Alan just now. And that voice, the voice of grace that says no, say no, is Jesus' voice, speaking through the Holy Spirit, the spirit of grace. Oh, what words I hear him say. And it's not, you know, it's easy to sing this song in a meeting, but think about, even in what we just heard just now, in that moment of temptation, there's a place of rest at the feet of Jesus. In that moment where you're like, oh Lord, what do I do? And all these thoughts going through, and the temptation is, sin comes in picking my own will. And in that moment, say, Lord, I want to just sit at your feet and hear you. There's no reason to rush, there's no reason to get in a panic. You will speak words to me. And I look upon the past, and his love has been so gracious that he finally won my heart. Go on to that next verse. It says, sitting at the feet of Jesus, this is the place of blessing. It's not that he answers, heals you, or gives you enough money, it's at the feet of Jesus. This is blessing in itself. I lay my sins and sorrows and find sweet rest when I'm weary, whether it's emotional weariness, spiritual weariness, physical weariness. I love to weep and pray, and from his fullness, gather grace and comfort. Oh, he wants to give you grace and comfort. Accumulate, like people accumulate money, accumulate grace and comfort this week. And the last verse says, bless me, oh my Savior, bless me with this, with yourself. Oh, he was just saying that. It's not, not even give me victory over sin, not even give me healing, it's give me yourself. As I sit low at thy feet, look down love upon me, and let me see your face. I don't need to see you answer my problem, I just want to see your face. And give me your mind, make me holy like you are. And let others know I've been with you, because you are all my righteousness. Let's sing this. ♪ Sitting at the feet of Jesus ♪ ♪ So near, so precious ♪ ♪ May it find me there each day ♪ ♪ Sitting at the feet of Jesus ♪ ♪ I would look upon the face of the Lord ♪ ♪ For his love has been so gracious ♪ ♪ It has won my heart at last ♪ ♪ Sitting at the feet of Jesus ♪ ♪ Where can mortal be more blessed ♪ ♪ There I lay my sins and sorrows ♪ ♪ And with weary find sweet rest ♪ ♪ Sitting at the feet of Jesus ♪ ♪ There I love to weep and pray ♪ ♪ While I from his fullness gather grace ♪ ♪ And comfort every day ♪ ♪ Bless me, O my Savior, bless me ♪ ♪ As I sit low at thy feet ♪ ♪ Oh, look down in love upon me ♪ ♪ Let me see thy face so sweet ♪ ♪ Give me, Lord, the mind of Jesus ♪ ♪ Make me holy as he is ♪ ♪ May I prove I'm in with Jesus ♪ ♪ Who is all my righteousness now ♪ I believe, Lord, you've heard every sincere prayer from every sincere heart. I pray, Lord, that everyone who's listened to this, been with us today, will receive encouragement and hope, strong encouragement and hope in Christ Jesus. Thank you, Lord. Let it be an anchor for us. Thank you for those that joined online. Lord, we pray a blessing for them, many of them who are hungry for a local fellowship where they can be encouraged in person. Hear their prayer, Lord Jesus. You will not allow anyone to be tempted more than they're able. But with every situation, you'll make a way of escape, even in that situation without fellowship locally. You are the fellowship we need, Lord. You, through your Holy Spirit, fellowship with you, it solves all our problems, Lord. And I pray that for everyone, even for those of us that have a local church, but those that don't as well, we will learn the joy of sitting at your feet, having fellowship with you, and knowing that's the place of blessing. And through that relationship with you, through that fellowship with you, Lord, build up local expressions of your body, even small gatherings in different places that are really seeking for you. Thank you, Lord. Continue to preserve this church, Lord, I pray. Preserve us in humility. May we always go low at your feet, lower, Lord, lower this week than we've been yet. Thank you.
