Native Kachin villages have a godsend source of power. Power generation from swiftly flowing water current for home industrial use. Kachin state is noted not only for the confluence of the mighty Eawri.

They are the best jade mines nowhere else in the world. These jade mines earn an enormous amount of foreign exchange money every year. Today, since privatization, many private companies are working together with the government authority for mutual benefits.
