In the Word of God, it sometimes conflicts with what he has previously been taught. This causes you to have to deal with old traditions or wrong teaching. These tapes may contain some new light from God's Word, and it may be opposed to some traditions you have previously learned.
Therefore, follow through these messages in your Bible, in sequence, in order that you may be able to make a choice for the Word of God rather than the traditions of men. This is tape number 13 in the series. We urge you to listen to all the tapes in the series in numerical order so that the whole teaching can be received and understood.
Listening to a part of the series or to the tapes out of sequence can lead to a misunderstanding of the nature, the intent, and the importance of the series. All right, you remember, I'm not going to spend any time here, but I'm going to briefly mention Matthew 13. We saw in Matthew 13, then 24 through 26, that the wheat would spring up, and the man sowed a good seed in a field.
We know that field is a world. And then in verse 25, we see that tares was sowed in a field. Then in verse 26, and when the wheat sprang up, it bore grain, which means it bears fruit.
Then tares became evident, and we've already discussed in Galatians 5 where the deeds of the flesh are evident. And we know that when you bear fruit, this is how we're supposed to know one another by the fruit. Is that correct? Now, this is important, what I'm fixing to share to you right here.
I want you to remember in verse 41 that the Son of Man is going to send forth his angels. They're going to gather out of his kingdom all stumbling blocks and those who commit laws, that's the ones who practice sin. Now, verse 49, so it will be at the end of the age, the angels shall come forth, and they're going to take out the wicked from among the righteous.
In other words, they're going to get put in a fire. Is that correct? Huh? Okay. Now, in 2 Peter 2, in 2 Peter 2, I'm going to tell you we're going to get into some interesting things directly.
2 Peter 2, verse 1, we see about the false prophets, in verse 1, and the false teachers, which are going to introduce destructive heresies. And then when you introduce doctrines of ungodliness, you're denying the master that bought them and they bring swift destruction upon themselves. Now, we're going to see some of this destruction.
Let's just continue. Verse 2, many are going to follow their sensuality, their sensuality, they'll be led after feelings in the flesh, and because of them, that's the false teachers, the way of the truth is going to be perverted. Is that clear? It's going to be malign.
People are going to miss God. Verse 3, and in their greed, that's their flesh, a heart trained in greed, they're going to exploit you. How are they going to exploit you? They're going to use false words, which is, be saying, peace, peace, and safety, and counsel rebellion while they build on different things besides godliness.
Their judgment, well, we're looking at the judgment on these who are exploiting you with false words. Their judgment from long ago is not idle, and their destruction is not asleep. For if God did not punish them when they sinned, but cast them out, now he's telling these false teachers and false prophets, he's fixing to say, what's going to happen? If God did not spare angels when they sinned, but cast them into hell and committed them to pits of darkness reserved for judgment, and he said, judgment's on these false teachers and false prophets, he did not spare the ancient world, but he preserved Noah, who was a preacher of what? It's the righteous ones he spares, with seven others when he brought a flood upon the world of the ungodly.
Now, do you see that flood? Did he destroy all the wicked? Where did the righteous go? The righteous were in the ark, is that correct? And they were spared. Is there an ark today? Well, it says there's someone who's going to come along and destroy the wicked, doesn't it? It'd be good to be in the ark then, wouldn't it? Let's turn and look to verse 6, and if he condemned the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah, now that was the fire that came on Sodom and Gomorrah, is that right? Here is a flood in verse 5, and there is a fire in verse 6, and I want you to know the fire and the flood is smoke coming today, which you see very plainly. If he condemned the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah to destruction by reducing them to ashes, and they've made an example to those who are going to live what? Ungodly thereafter, and that's what he's talking about, these false teachers that entice people to ungodliness and lead them into ungodliness.
Now, in verse 9, then the Lord knows he's going to rescue you godly from what? Temptation. Now, let me just stop and explain something to you there, folks. The powers of darkness, now don't you look at me, will make you believe that bittersweet and darkness is light.
Now, I want you to understand clearly and I want you to know you absolutely cannot stand against them alone, there's no way. Any people who think they're standing against the powers of darkness are standing along are fools, they have a foolish heart. There's only one way you can stand against them, to have a covenant partner stronger than them, and there's only one, his name is Jesus.
Now, here's what you've got to understand there, now in the last verses of Hebrews 2 and in the last verses of Hebrews 4, it tells you how Jesus comes to your aid to help you in time of temptation, he was tempted in all points. Now, I want you to know this temptation, Jesus said he rescues the godly from temptation. Now, who are you depending on when temptation and everything comes along? You have to depend on the Lord, you have to draw his strength to overcome these strongholds that's in your life.
Now, you're just not going to be able to stand against them yourself, you've got to draw strength, you've got to know that they're not going to die and you can't stand in it until you receive strength, because you're going to walk along and become discouraged. An enemy is going to put condemnation on you and tell you it's never going to work out. What you have to learn how to do is to receive grace, like anger is coming up, irritation is coming up, these things have been in my life, I mean all the way from my ancestors.
And I'm going to tell you what's the truth, you'll wear yourself out trying to put tear down strongholds and things like that unless you start drawing grace from it. You choose with your will to line your way up the Word of God and then you start drawing it from the power and grace from the throne of grace. You get it, take it, God help me, I choose to die out of this and then you're going to suffer a little bit, but I mean that's when the comforter starts comforting you, amen? Okay, now, the Lord knows how to rescue the godly from temptation and he's going to keep the unrighteous under what? Punishment for the day of judgment.
Now how does he keep the unrighteous under punishment? Because when you sin, you've got a problem. When you judge, you're judged right then. Right then you've got a problem because I want you to know the powers of darkness are on you and you can't get them off unless Jesus gets them off of you.
Now what do you think about that? They're under punishment for the day of judgment. You see that? All right, now in verse 10, especially those who are indulging the flesh, that's the flesh desires and it's corrupt desires, they despise authority, the Word, God, they're daring and what kind of will do they have? Their self-will, they do not tremble when they revile angelic magic. There's no godliness, there is no holiness, there's no righteousness for people who walk in this manner right there, who walk after the weight of the flesh.
I mean it's ungodliness, it's still rebellion, that's what you're supposed to repent from. Now turn with me to Matthew 7, turn back to Matthew 7 quickly, Matthew 7. Now in Matthew 7, we're going to see again, for the gate is small to heaven. Now how many found out that that gate is a little, in the last two weeks, that that gate's a little smaller than you thought it was, hold up your hand.
You believe what God's Word said, it's small. How many believe the way is narrower than what you thought it was, the Word of God? Okay, it's narrow and it's small, okay, that's what your Bible says, isn't it? For the gate is small and the way is narrow that leads to what? Life, and few, circle few about eight times, fewer of those are going to find it, amen? Now that's not to discourage you or anything like it, but it's only to encourage you to have the fear of God, amen? Now if you have the fear of God, you're going to go through that small gate and the narrow way. If you don't have the fear of God, you won't, amen? Now verse 19, every tree that does not bear good fruit is going to be what? Is that just what we saw, if you don't bear good fruit? If you walk in ungodliness, He's going to put punishment on you, that's what it is.
Who's going to cut you down? The tree cutters we saw in Isaiah, I think it's 14.8. Satan is, no tree cutters, you know, it's prophecy about Satan, no tree cutter comes up against us anymore. That's what the power of God has come to cut the trees down, that's what we are, the trees. But no, the one that does not bear fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire.
They are the fire, and they're there because when you're not bearing good fruit, you're in agreement with them in your heart, amen? You're not in agreement with the Word, you're in agreement with them. And then that's what removes the hedge on you. Now let's go on in verse, let's just continue on through.
So then you're going to know people by their what? Their personality, their intellect, their academic or whatever? No, you're going to know them by their fruit, you're going to know the voice of Jesus. Not everyone who says to me, Lord, Lord, is going to enter the kingdom of heaven, that means some are going to be bearing the wrong fruit and they think that Jesus is Lord, they're going to be deceived. But he who does the will of my Father in heaven is the one that's going to heaven, and verse 21 shows you clearly who's going to heaven.
Now verse, I mean verse 21, now verse 22, many will say to me on that day, Lord, Lord, didn't we prophesy in the name of Jesus, in the name of Jesus, cast out demons in the name of Jesus, perform miracles? And then Jesus will say, I never did know you to part from me because you always practiced sin, you always bore bad fruit, you never did turn from it and repent from it, is that right? Is that right? Okay, now let's continue. So wonder who, what spirit's working with this man? What the spirit of the devil, wonder where it's drawing, now that's not to say it might cast out demons or it does miracles and everything, it is wrong, there's some good things going on today, you know that? But I'm going to tell you what, as sure as there's a right thing, there is deception. The powers of darkness have always got the counterfeit, always, and everything that God's doing.
And God lets your heart be tested. And when you come to Him with all your heart, you're going to know the difference. Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine, look in 24, and he what? He acts upon, he doesn't, he doesn't, he doesn't hear the word of God and get, you know, he acts upon, that's where he's standing, that's where he's walking, he's come to Jesus all his heart, may be compared to what kind of man? Well there's another word for that, could you call it a prudent man? A wise man, a prudent man, he built his house upon a rock, which is the word of God, I mean he has the right foundation, it's not the wrong foundation, is that right? And now, and the rain descended and we found out who the floods are, who are the floods? The powers of darkness, they come with their words, the opposite words of what the word of God is, and they try to, the winds blew and they burst against that house and yet it did not fall because where was he standing? Standing on the word of God, and the words wouldn't remove him.
Now we've got another man right here, now he is a wise man, is that right? All right, now a wise man acts on the word of God, now over and over and over and over through your word, whoever is wise, let him understand it, whoever is wise, let him understand it, whoever is wise, let him understand it, that's someone that comes to the Lord with a whole heart, are you hearing me? That's what a disciple is, in the parable of the word, the disciples were the only one that understood what Jesus was saying, the disciples, the multitude would come for loaves, fishes, crowds, numbers, or whatever, but I'm telling you that the disciples, he took along at side and he told them what the parable and mystery of the word was, but he said about the rest, they're going to keep on seeing, they're going to keep on hearing, but they're not going to hear or they're not going to understand because God only enlightens the word to those who come to him with all their heart.
He doesn't cooperate with the natural mind, in other words, understands not the things of God, everything about the word of God is revelation and it's grace, amen? So, we look at verse 26 and we see the other man, now this man bears good fruit in 24 and 25, that's the example right here, the man that bears good fruit and the one that bears bad fruit, the one that acts on the word, the one that bears fruit is the one, he walks along and he's bearing the fruit of the pride, ego, rebellion, lust, hate, envy, that's the curse satanic nature that you walk, you repent, you receive a new master which is Jesus, you put and you change and you break your covenant in your heart with Satan, now you have a covenant with Jesus, now you're being conformed to his image and you put to death all the deeds of rebellion and what do you do?
You only receive this word here which renews your mind, old things have passed away, all things have become new as Jesus Christ is in the world, so are you, whoever wishes to come out of me, let him deny himself, he's going to take up his cross, suffer in the flesh and cease in sin and then he'll follow me because whoever wishes to save his life, you know this is where his heart is, he's still living for it, he's got a form of godliness, he's going to lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake and the gospel which is covenant is the one who's going to save it, so what are you doing?
You're walking along and then you're given scripture in 2 Corinthians 10, 3 through 5, that you no longer war after the flesh, well I mean when things come against the enemy or whatever, you no longer war after the flesh, where is your war after? Those weapons you receive in Ephesians 6, the truth and faith, above all you have up the shield of faith, which means your weapons now are mighty in God, but it's tearing down strongholds, pride, ego, rebellion, everything that exalts itself against the word of God and you take it, that's not in there to analyze, that's to do, why is it in there?
Because when you have a repentant heart and you change and you come with all your whole heart that doesn't leave any room for idols, that's a wise man, he comes with all his heart that means you love Jesus more than any stronghold of the flesh, the world or the things in the world, because he has all your heart and when he points to it, it goes, you suffer in the flesh and see some sin, then you get in the war, the war, you resist the devil, it didn't say to ignore the devil, the word says resist the devil, was he come, the lust of flesh and lust of the eyes and the boastful pride of life, he comes to speak, he wants you to react to disappointment and rejection with anger, hate, revenge, murder, resentment, unforgiveness, bitterness, you no longer war at the flesh, well what do you do?
You put up the shield of faith, you do what the word of God says here, you take every thought captive, you resist any more rebellion, he wants to talk to you up here before where is he headed for, to put that rebellion in your heart and then you'll have what kind of heart? You'll have a defiled heart and that's what Mark 7 and Matthew 15 said, these people draw me in you, where their mouth and their heart are far from me, in vain are they worshipping me, they're teaching doctrines that they think they can walk this way, these doctrines are the precepts and opinions of men, in vain are they worshipping me.
That's what you repented from, alright now do you understand that? You resist the devil up here, so in your field here, your God's field and you're headed to be, have a blameless and a pure heart, in other words you're headed where Hebrews 3 and 4 commanded you to go and it's not an option, you're commanded to enter into rest, amen? Is this clear? Okay now, so we see the other man right here, he doesn't get in a war and everyone who hears these words of mine, many do that, they do not act upon them because when you get another gospel, another Jesus, you don't act upon the word of God, he's going to be like what kind of man?
Foolish man and he built his house upon the sand, now foolish man does not act upon the word of God, he has a defiled heart, so you might have another doctrine, you might have another gospel following another Jesus, led by a different spirit and he's a form of godliness, form of godliness leads you to hell, amen, Jesus is not Lord of a form of godliness.
Now, but he'd be like a foolish man who built his house upon the sand and then the rain descended and the floods came, that's the powers of darkness who come with this word to test you and God, that's a fire test that 1 Peter 4, 12 tells you to expect it, same one at James 1 is just rejoice in it, because in perseverance, because through this you're going to put everything to death that doesn't look like Jesus, amen? Okay, and the rain descended, floods came and the winds and they burst against this house, the man that doesn't fall, act on the word of God and it fell and what? It fell away, didn't it? He was carried away by the flood, is that right? Carried away by the flood of words, amen, because he didn't resist it. Now, do you have a wise man and a foolish man here? Are you told about the good tree, just back up right there, a lot of people, which is verse 1 in here, now verse 18, a good tree cannot produce bad fruit, nor can a bad tree produce good fruit. Are we talking about two different kinds of trees? You know you can pair Luke 6 with this too and see what you're talking about, one tree thinks he's going to heaven and he bears bad fruit and another tree bears good fruit and he's one that does the will of God going to heaven, amen, is this playing? Now, we see we've got a wise man and a foolish man, we've got the prudent man and the foolish, is that right? Now, when you start reading Proverbs, you remember all these things, now you go up to a wise man and remember this, a wise man and you correct him and lie the word, this is where a fellowship, my fellowship with you is supposed to be a lie of the word.
I don't have my fellowship to please you, my fellowship is that my relationship with you is unto the Lord, and so in this way I don't have to have your approval, I have God's approval because I always do everything in the sight of God, so therefore I'm never rejected, and when I seek your approval, I can build idol in my heart because I seek God's approval in our relationship, amen, or you know what I'm saying, that way the powers of darkness want me to seek the approval of men or something like that, then they can build rejection, hate, anger, I'm never disappointed that way because he'll never disappoint me, he'll never reject me, he'll never forsake me, he'll never leave me and he'll bless me and accomplish me no matter what you do to me, amen, brother, and I love you, amen, so that
way that makes my total hope in Jesus and the Lord, if not in men, the world or the things in the world, amen, okay, now, so we got the wise man and the foolish man, let's look at Matthew 25, we're going to see what's happening here, in Matthew 25, in Matthew 25, verse 1, then the kingdom of heaven will be compared to ten virgins who took their what, lamps, well what does it say about the lamps, well, Psalm 119, 11, thy word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path, now that's what you, what is a lamp, it's the word of God, Psalms 18, 28 says thou dost light my lamp, 2 Peter 1, 19 said the word's like a lamp shining in the dark place, this is what the word of God, now listen to me folks, look at me, look at me, let me get you to understand about light and darkness, people in the
world who walk, they walk in the image and likeness of Satan, because what comes out of their mouth is coming from their heart and it's pride, ego, rebellion, their heart is living for this first nature, this is a people, now people compare their self among their self and measure their self by their self and you've got this Bible all the way, don't have no mirror to look in and so what do they have, they are people sitting in darkness, so the people in sitting in darkness, there came a great light that came among them and what do you tell them, you first said to them, you people sitting in darkness, this is not where it is, you better be conformed back to the image of Jesus and to get this rebellion out of your heart, which the word of God does, it washes all rebellion out of your heart
if you let it wash it, but it can't wash up all security and it's not Jesus in the word, you've got to love Jesus and his word more than anything there is, or the word of God can't wash you, you won't come to the word, you'll read over it, it'll be an exercise or a form, amen, you come and look in the mirror and you'd see, you look like the Lord, the word shows you in darkness and it gives you wisdom, it's a wisdom that the world don't know or the rulers of the world, it's the wisdom of God, when you get loose in the rebellion, alright now in verse 2, and five of these were what, what's that word, five of these ten version were foolish and five of them were what, prudent, wise, now look at me here just a second, somebody's not looking, look at me, now I want to ask you something, did we
just read about the wise and the foolish, we found out the foolish person does not act on the word of God, he's got another foundation and the powers of darkness just sweep them and tear them away, but the wise person stands right here in the whole council of this word of God and can be moved and they can't be blowed away, they can't be carried away by whatever wind of darkness, can they, whatever, is that right, they can't be carried away, just like what did 2 Corinthians 11 warn us, said I'm afraid that the serpent which is the power of the darkness is going to carry you away just like it did Eve to eat off the tree of the lust of the flesh and the lust of the eyes and the boastful pride of life and they're going to do it through servants of Satan who disguise themselves as servants of
righteousness that you can go eat off the tree of rebellion and how rebellion your heart and you surely shall not die, is that what you were in 2 Corinthians 11, that you could be deceived just like Eve was, amen, how was Eve deceived that she could walk and obey in the God in her heart, amen, is that right, deceived from the purity which is a pure heart and devotion to Christ, that's what sanctification is, be purifying our hearts, that's what overcoming is, that's how to endure in the end, that's how your fruit remains, that's what you're chosen to do, your fruit remains, you don't turn back, you're enduring to the end, you're always overcoming and what you always do in Jesus, if he has all your heart, it's no problem, only your flesh will suffer some, alright, but when the foolish
verse 3 took their lamps, they had the word of God, they had, the foolish took their lamps, they had no what, they don't have the spirit with them, so, but the prudent took oil, the wise have the spirit of God, is that right, the oil, is that right, in the flask along with their lamps, now while the bridegroom was at land, they all got drowsy and began to sleep, but at midnight, that's the time of great spiritual darkness, there was a shout, behold the bridegroom come out to meet him, is Jesus going to shout, huh, the bridegroom is going to shout, then all the, but I'm going to tell you something, and I tell you a lot of folks are not going to hear that shout, then all those virgins rose and they trimmed their lamps and the foolish began to see something about the wise, they saw they had
something that they didn't have, they probably saw torment all over themselves and they didn't see it in the midst of the last days, but the foolish said to the prudent, give us some of your oil, for our lamps are going out, we can't see what you see, we need the spirit of God, but the prudent answered saying, no, there will not be enough for us and you too, go instead to the dealers and buy some for yourself, and while they were going away to make the purchase, who came, the bridegroom came, Jesus came and those who were what, ready, did we read over in Revelation that those who made themselves ready, how do you make yourself ready, you make yourself ready by being spotless and blameless, that's the bride that Jesus is coming after, unless you follow another Jesus, I'm telling you,
you're going to be spotless and blameless, and your Bible warns you about practicing sin, when you practice sin, you make an idol out of it and you won't give it up, Jesus is not Lord, but somebody's heart that won't give up practicing sin, and when you practice it and you won't give it up, that means you love this sin more than you do Jesus, and it's an idol, Jesus will not be one of your idols, people that think Jesus won't be one of his idols, he's born a godly, now he's coming after a bride who makes himself ready, how are you going to make yourself ready, you're going to put on the weapons of the Lord Jesus Christ, Jesus Christ is going to be Lord of your heart, and you're going to have all the rebellion washed out of your heart, and you're going to be reconciled back to God, you
fell through Adam into the satanic lust rebellion, and then through the last Adam, you're going to put it all to death, and you're going to move right back in to the image and likeness of God which Adam fell from in the first place, that's being reconciled back to God, amen, okay, now, so they made their self in verse 10, they made their self ready, and they went where, what's that word, in, in to what, can I tell you what they went into, they went in to the ark, you know what that ark is, that ark is Jesus, they went in with him to the wedding feast, and then what was shut, the door was shut, may I ask you something, is that what happened in the days of Noah, when the days of Noah was the ark, the righteous went in, and the door was shut, and the wicked were destroyed, can I tell you
that's exactly what's going to happen here in the last days, you've already been seeing a bunch, haven't you, okay, now, and later these other virgins, who are the other virgins, circle of the virgins, which one are they, the other virgins are the foolish virgins, they do not act upon the word of God, and they do not have the spirit of God, okay, well, I could take off there and confirm that, the other virgins came up saying, Lord, Lord, open up to us, now, let me ask you something, folks, did we just see over in Matthew 7, there are two different kind of trees, the good tree, the bad tree, you know the bad tree, but it's fruit, you know the good tree, but it's fruit, did it say in that same chapter, many are going to say, Lord, Lord, they think Jesus is Lord, and they're the church of
the last days, it looks like a lamb, but speaks as a dragon, they have the words of Satan, they have the words, their heart, from the bun is the heart, the mouth speaks, and they speak from an impure and defiled heart, because they have doctrines that do not conform them to Godliness, they have found a false security, and I'm telling you what, it has their hearts, I'm going to tell you, the bride of Christ, make their self spotless and blameless, they overcome, they endure the end, they're right, and they're going to bear it, now, the only way you can bear good fruit, it's like that grain of wheat in John 12, unless it falls in the ground and dies, it's going to remain alone, but if it dies, what does the grain of wheat do, the outside dies, so the inner can come from, the satanic nature,
it has to be put to death, and then you'll bear much fruit, John 15, 16 said, I've chosen you to bear much fruit, and that your fruit should remain, and then, whatever you ask in my name, I'm going to do it, now, the difference in that is in James 3 and 4, where you speak blessings and curses out of your mouth, this wisdom is not which comes from above, but it's the world, flesh and demonic, and then in 4, chapter 4, you see that you do not, you ask, but you don't receive, because you ask with the wrong motives, the next verse said, this is what harlots and adulteresses are, amen, okay, now, we've covered that, do you recall that, now, we see the foolish, you're going to come up and say, Lord, Lord, open up for us, foolish people do not act, foolish hearts do not act upon the word of God,
because they've got another foundation, another doctrine, or whatever, another Jesus, whatever, amen, now, but he answered and said, truly, I say to you, I do not know you, so you better be on alert, it didn't say asleep, the opposite of being asleep is be on alert, for you do not know the day, nor the hour, is that pretty plain, now, I want you to turn with me to Luke 13, and just for the sake of your notes there and everything, well, we're going to have it on notes anyway, but in Luke 14, it was telling about this wedding feast, let's just look over it just a second, it wouldn't hurt just a minute, 14, 16, he said, a certain man was given a big dinner, that's the dinner that we're talking about right here, that's a wedding feast, and at the dinner hour, he sent his slave to say, those
who've been invited, come, for everything is ready now, and so, a lot of people don't want to come and eat this kind of bread, do they, look at me, and there are too many busy, I've just got so much to do, I'm just too busy, I've got these things, the world, the things in the world, all that's in the world, do not love the world, the things, all that's in the world, the lust of flesh, the lust of the eye, and the boastful pride of life, that is rebellion, and you know, I'd sit for that long to hear, to eat that kind of bread, huh, so they all, verse 18, began to make what, they make excuses, and the first one said to him, I bought a piece of land, I need to go out and look at it, please consider me excused, God, another one said, I've bought five yoke of oxen, and I'm going to try them
out, please consider me excused, God, I've got these oxen, I've got this land for them to look at, another one said, I've got a family, I've got a wife, for that reason, I can't come, God, what about that, verse 24, if I tell you, none of these men will be invited, shall invite, or taste my dinner, why, where's their heart, their heart, what do they love the world, the word of God, or the things of the world, we know we have to keep a job and everything like that, but where's people's hearts, where's your heart, let's go on right there, 26, if anyone comes to me and he does not hate his own father, mother, wife, and children, brothers and sisters, yes, even his own life, he don't hate his own life, he doesn't hate his own life, if he doesn't hate his own life, he cannot be my disciple,
when you live in a heavenly place, you love your life, when you live after lust of flesh, because lust of flesh lives after the world, you hate your life, when you're living in a heavenly place, it's because your heart is living for heavenly things, it's not living to build treasures here on earth, amen, so in comparison, you don't love your wife, you don't love anyone more than you do the Lord, if you do, it becomes an idol in your heart, a lot of folks believe it's alright to not love your wife or anything more than the Lord, but you can love a denomination more than you do the Lord, I'm telling you, don't, that's one thing you're not supposed to talk about, because you'll touch a cave or something, I'm not saying this to be smart now, I'm not attacking anybody, you understand, I'm
attacking anything that's idolatry, that comes before the Lord, theology, intellect, men or whatever, so verse 27, whoever does not carry his own cross and come after me cannot be my disciple unless you've got yourself another Bible, verse 33, so therefore no one of you can be my disciple who does not give up his own possessions, if your heart, if a possession got your heart and you don't give him up, you're not going to be his disciple, if you're not his disciple, what do you think you've got in him, let me tell you what you are, you are a foolish virgin, if you're not overcome, now let's back up to 13, chapter 13, verse 24, for to strive to enter by the what, it's going to be a narrow door into heaven for many I tell you will seek to enter and will not be able once the head of the house
gets up and what, shut the door, what's that the type of, shutting the door, look at me, look at me, it's shutting the door to the ark, isn't it, who is the door, Jesus is the door, well looky there, once the head of the house gets up and shuts the door and you begin to what, what's those two words, you're going to stand outside this door and what you're going to do, you're going to be knocking on the door, you're saying, Lord open up to us, now listen, let me ask you, let's stop right there and let me tell you what that's saying, look here, look at me, somebody's not looking, how do you knock on the door of Jesus, Jesus is the door, they knocked on the ark, which is the days of Noah, isn't that right, alright, now how do you knock on the door of Jesus, you say, please, you start praying,
this is how you knock, you pray, please let me come in, please save me Lord, please save me Lord, please save me Lord, please save me Lord, please save me Lord, please save me Lord, please save me, I'm knocking on the door, let me in, let me in, I've been a foolish virgin, I've been, and see, he's already moved over to the throne of judgment, he's not on the throne of grace anymore, he's moved over to the throne of judgment, but they stand outside and they knock on the door of Jesus saying, Lord open up to us then he will answer and say to you I do not know where you are from you're not a my household you don't get in here you've got the wrong you're the wrong tree and the wrong fruit in verse twenty six then you'll begin to save him now Lord Lord you know we drank in your presence we
heard your words and covenant and and we you you taught in our speech you came to our you know you come to our church and you come here and that and I heard you for thirty five years now you you taught us you know that Lord and and then he'll say I tell you I don't know where you're from depart from me all you want all you want what's evil do or do what kind of fruit is evil do or bear bad fruit where's the fruit come out at comes out of the mouth where's it coming from when it comes out your mouth of their heart now we've already seen that is that true now turn with me to job a team job a team that's right before some job a team job a team if I ever get back around here again I'm gonna have his Bible broke in now folks have we already seen what for instance in Isaiah five how in the
vineyard if you don't produce the right proof God lords the head that's also in Luke thirteen and we Lord the head who comes in the tree cutters coming who's that power tonight because when your heart chooses to bear the wrong fruit you invite them in yourself you're choosing against God you lower the hedge on yourself now you can't go along folks now don't you understand something you don't go along and say Jesus Christ the Son of God died on the cross and raised him a dead and call him your Lord and go off and rebelling to God and think you have some kind of protection because you join up with something that you can go out walk talk and act like the devil and say Jesus became a curse with me at Calvary Jesus did become a curse for you at Calvary but not to walk in ungodliness first
Timothy six three through five it says those who advocate another doctrine that does not conform you to godliness it does not conform you to godliness it does not conform you to God they are without understanding they're deprived of truth and they have a morbid interest in controversial questions which attack the word just like the Pharisees do if anything you ever join your heart up to that doesn't conform you the image of Jesus Christ I'm going to tell you it's not of the Lord now Job 18 I want you to look with me in verse five now did we see the light was going out on the foolish is that right all right now verse five indeed the light of the wicked goes out now I want to go slow don't get ahead of me the light of the wicked goes out and the flame of his fire it doesn't give any light
it gives no light the light in his tent now look at me you know if I single you know you know if you're single toward the Lord you can have you can have your body full of light or you can have it full of dark what if you look at your eyes is through the lust the flesh the world you understand what I mean then you you're full of darkness amen you see what I mean but if you're single line to the Lord but this is that God's tent is that right look at me is this his tent we're living in a tent right now we are living in a tent so the light in his tent is darkened and his lamp goes out above him and now when your light goes out wonder what happens to you next his vigorous stride is shortened now I want to tell you this is going to be confirmed as we go along now look at me look at me when you
like when you when you when you're walking in darkness and you've got darkness and you know what kind of fruit you're bearing where your heart is don't you it's where the powers of darkness now let me show you what happens your vigorous stride you start what do they do that they come and steal your strength did they come on job was a head flat down on job all right now their vigorous stride instead of you know that's why I used to one day I found out I'd you know I found myself you know taking getting jumping in the bathtub instead of taking showers you think this way I used to go and people here knew me back that's where I used to go and all of a sudden my vigorous stride was short it wasn't a vigorous stride anymore are you hear what I'm saying who came to steal my strength I'm bouncing
a little more now because I've learned some things are you here with me that the vigorous stride now you're going to see something right here you're going to see something about what's called God's truth if he'll let a false teacher teach you if you put a whole he'll put thousands of people right a spirit of sleep over him he'll hide all discernment over and Isaiah 29 because they want to draw near the mouth and a heart far from him want to make him out now your vigorous stride is shortened when you start bearing the wrong fruit you just watch what happens all right his vigorous stride is shortened and his own what schemes bring him down do you know look at me now let's let's let's understand this when you're dealing with the flesh that's a way a wolf think when your heart thinks toward
the flesh pride ego greed you're always working out all language you're speaking as Jeremiah said you're speaking peace to your neighbor while you're setting ambush for him in your heart now that's a way a wolf think now lamb he doesn't have anything to hide he puts it all right up front is that right you ever see a lamb you've seen some lambs I hope I've seen some in here now and they don't have anything to hide they don't have any motive step one of me but see now that's why schemes wolf schemes they're always seeking advantage now listen to me now listen what I'm telling you the powers now listen to me look at me the powers of darkness all flesh loves them now when I say flesh I'm not talking about your carton here I'm talking about the flesh nature the flesh nature loves the powers of
darkness because they're in total agreement they're totally alike it's the nature of Satan and the powers of darkness show up to show you when there's pride to show up when there's greed to show you up in every case you can take an advantage right there they show you in selfishness they shoot that dart right in your head and they give you the ideas and you act on them because that's where your heart is in selfishness and self-centeredness that's what you've got to watch for because that's a difference in a servant a servant of God walking love a servant of Satan he gets his mind controlled to live for himself pride ego rebellion hate I hate you because you did something I'm angry with you because you're here you're doing something against my cart all that everything revolves around I mean
my right here me that's a war now that's the opposite of love now see everything I've been saying these 10 days is walking in love or go plainly that's what this Bible is saying if you're led by the Spirit of God you're not under the law under judgment you're not if you're led by the Spirit of God you will not you will not and ladies and five carry out the desires of the flesh you will not carry out the desires of the flesh but the Romans 8 14 and 13 Romans 8 14 says the Son of God who led the Spirit of God verse 13 if you're led by the Spirit of God you'll put to death a deed to rebellion in the flesh so therefore it's all put to death if you're a son of God now so his own schemes to bring him down do you follow me so far now verse 8 for he is thrown into the net by his own feet now
wonder what that net is that net is the powers of darkness folks and by your own feet the where you look at me you walk look at me where you walk and your fruit is that's what gets you into the net see he's walking in darkness he's walking the wrong direction and he goes into the net that's him now you see it's clear and he steps on the webbing and a snare sees him by the heel now have we already seen for the table table that you eat off of if you eat off the demons and everything is going to be a snare and a trap to you huh you can't eat the table of demons and the table of the Lord is that right your heart can't be in agreement with the powers of darkness and their their satanic nature and be in agreement with the Lord okay a snare sees him by the heel and a trap shut it shut snap shut
on now there's your trap and your snare do you see that I can't hear you okay now a noose for him this is real important now a noose for him is hidden in the ground and a trap for him on the path now we're talking about the different roads in the parable of the word is that right some lead you to the lust of flesh the lust of the eyes and of the worries of the world and deceitfulness of riches desires from other things and the powers of darkness come when these things that steal the word right out of your heart now some of you in the war here why don't you listen to me quit listening to those demons I just quit listening to them they know you're sitting there listening to a demon you've come here to hear the word of God haven't you well don't let them break your mind off to California or
some place or get you thinking out there because you will sit there and get next thing they'll tell you how tired you are now get in the war now I'm watching some of you some of you you're listening to those demons and your will is stronger than they are now pay attention to what this word said and you get set free from them things okay a noose for him verse 10 is hidden in the ground and a trap for him on the path now there's your trap all around terrors what terrors frighten him now that's fear that's the same you remember in Leviticus 26 when we're saying all these things that's fear now this and they hurry him that's oppression at every what looking at me folks this is what y'all been getting lifted off of you this week you just heard it in every step you know that pressure yeah what
what hold up your hands if you've been getting free from this thing this way just hold up your hands all of them now see this is it's talking about you it's talking about you because they got in there because of the darkness and the fruit in your life are you hear me all across this place are you hear me they hurry every step and they put fear around you fear a man fear this fear this fear that if you fear God you're not going to fear nothing else if you don't fear God you're going to be afraid of everything amen okay his strength is famished have we already clearly seen that they come to take your strength Isaiah 14 he weakened the nations we know they come and they stop your strength many of you that I've prayed with in here that after we got so many strongholds both of you just reach
up your hand to the throne of grace and your strength came back to you and your vigorous stride is not shortened anymore you move on around see amen what's it say what do you think it says pray that you'll be able to have the strength to stand against the things that's coming to you in the last days amen what do you think it's talking about them you're going to see it clearly tonight of course you already have you're going to see it again his strength is famished and calamity is ready at his side well what does this church of Babylon think no calamity now his skin is devoured by what folks is that diseases and sicknesses now let's see who's going to be doing taking this who's going to put these diseases on you the firstborn of death devoured his limbs look at me folks please tell me who
the firstborn of death is Satan he comes to devour your limbs and bring sickness and disease on you just like he brought it on Job your vigorous stride is shortened when you become wise you own eyes and you'll have a pure heart are you hearing what I'm saying folks when you're like now that's what's happening to the foolish virgin who will not act upon the word of God they like to be hearers they like to be experts about the word they like to sit back and rare back in an intellect or academic or already know it all or already know somebody know it all instead of Jesus having all their hearts he is torn from the security of his tent God destroys everything on the earth the curse is like a moth it's like rottenness it's a slow decay and it destroys everything on the world that's in
rebellion him he removes it from the earth it's a if you're not walking in blessing you're walking in a curse and if you're walking in rebellion to God I'm going to tell you what demons are not blessings he is torn from the security of his tent destroyed and they march him before the king of terrors who is the king of terrors the terrors are the powers that are the king of them in Satan and they march him before Satan there dwells in his tent nothing of his brimstone is scattered on his habitation his roots are dried below do you see that and his branch is cut off above now let me tell you something folks look at me who's supposed to be the root unless you abide in me the vine Jesus you're not going you can do nothing of your own that wasn't all right now and if you don't bear fruit what
is cut off the branches are cut off this is a cut off are you seeing it branches cut off okay his roots are dried below and his branch is cut off that means it dries below there's no water coming through there's no word coming through it dries up will will will now verse 18 he is driven from light into darkness and chased from the inhabited world what did I tell you a while ago look at me folks the powers of darkness when you don't bear fruit for God on this earth maybe again you know that you that your ears would be more have we been seeing that in the word of God when you obey the word of God you're chased from the inhabited world when he when your hearts is rebellion because they come and just begin destroying and bring sickness and disease on you are you hear what I'm saying they come
to kill steal and destroy amen is that plain now well let's look at let's look at verse 21 surely such are the dwellings of who wicked people and this is the place of him who does not know God he's in rebellion in his heart that what we've been seeing over and over if you want to write that right James four fourteen twenty one and twenty two wash your heart me but how long with these wicked thoughts lodged within you wash your heart me that you'll be saved now I want to I want you to hold your place right there and I want you to turn back to me and I want you to see who this turn to Joe back to Joe to read something to you right there I want you to see who's bringing sickness and disease or who we're talking about I want you to see we're talking about Joe to now there was a day that Joe
one Joe to first six then Satan went out from the presence of the Lord and what did he do he smoked Joe with sore balls from the soul that put the crown of his head may I ask you to look at me just a second in Deuteronomy twenty eight you recall this is one of the curses the balls of them on people you don't have to care about curses see if you don't want to see we're in that live in a time today where people only preach blessing when he like in Deuteronomy twenty eight they stop at the fifteenth verse but it says there if you will not obey the Lord then all these curses will come upon you what happens God removes the head his anger comes in the anger of God is Satan and he comes in to bring these curses on you now while you're you want to debate and want to understand and don't
understand some things about Job and everything he's doing it now verse seven and he took a potsherd to scrape himself while he was sitting among the ashes now God removed the hedge right there you know that right now he he he promises he's going to move the hedge on you if you don't marry fruit from God you better you better get concerned about you the rest of this Bible here and trying to kind of kind of debate and speculate and analyze and morbid controversial questions about Job and whatever right now now we're back in Job nineteen let's look at Job nineteen now are you seeing how the foolish light goes out with a foolish hearted and then what happens to their destroyed are you seeing that shake your head so I'm going to the next one okay now in chapter nineteen verse six know then
that God has wronged me he has closed his net around me and that that net is these powers of darkness if that is the net and if I had time I'd go to Acts thirteen and go to Habakkuk one Hosea four and I could tally things together with you about the net but this is very clear right here and just put Acts thirteen about where it starts about the scoffers then go back to Habakkuk one right Hosea four about the verse fourteen verses and and study this sometime know then that God has wronged me he has closed his net around me behold I cry what there's a word violence but I get no answer I shout for help there is no justice he has walled up my way so that I cannot pass he has put what darkness on my path in other words he's like those foolish virgins he can't see where he's going he's
something he's in spiritual darkness right now right the powers of darkness are turned loose now let's go to verse eleven he has also kindled his anger against me now who is this anger Satan all right now when you're talking about Satan are you not talking about all the powers of darkness it's with Satan that bring disease sickness and everything all right there you are he has kindled his anger against me and considered me as an enemy he's treating me like an enemy now his what his troops that's them if you when you're talking about the army of God that's one of his armies there you hear me his army his troops that we've already seen when I was what I shared with you that before while I was yesterday morning his troops came together and they build up their way against me and they camp
around my tent now that look at me folks that's the powers of darkness they temper it they build up their way and they're the net and they're the troops they call the troops of God who do you think created faith who do you think created the powers of darkness what makes you think he keeps him around unless he wanted who sent the powers of darkness against Saul oh well who do you think put them on Job who do you think promised going to put them on you he moves the hedge in there then he moved the hedge all right now so we're going to circle his troops and now when we were looking at the now many of you wasn't here yesterday morning when we was looking to finish now the main part of Babylon had come yesterday morning but we saw the troops were gathered around Jerusalem is that what we saw
the army gathering now while people looking for the natural together around a flesh Jerusalem they're not looking for the spiritual these troops together around the spiritual is are we supposed to be the heavenly Jerusalem are we the Israel of God if we are a thing that if you Jesus Christ is your Lord you are you Abraham see Romans 2 are you a Jew if you are if you're circumcised at the heart amen okay see while everybody looking at things there'd be things happening in the physical but while things happen the physical they're not looking at the things happening in the spiritual amen well we see some of that tonight now 19 let's go to verse that we got 12 let's go to verse 25 verse 25 as for me I know that my what my Redeemer lives and at last he's going to take his stand upon the earth
that bringing us up to date in there verse 29 he said you better be afraid the sword what is the sword the Word of God and in this case is make a reference to it is a curse you better be afraid of the sword for yourself for wrath now what is that the wrath and anger God what does it bring brings a punch with the sword so what I'm calling those sword right you see it very clearly is to bring in the powers that are to bring the curse amen okay so that you're going to know that there is what judgment and that's what Godman judgment is then and that's what this judgment is right now do you remember in Luke 13 11 to 16 how Satan bound the daughter of Abraham she had a spirit of infirmity had one demon see Satan and the powers of darkness synonymous when you're talking about one you're talking
about their other he said is it shouldn't I set this woman free a daughter of Abraham shouldn't she be set free he lays his hands on it he touched her and the demon leaves she's made a wreck they met she'd been that way for 18 years I believe it was meant double amen and that good of course that tore up the church crowd right there because it broke a tradition but anyway he said Satan is bounder for 18 years when he's talking about one about about the power of the dark spirit of infirmity all right now let's just continue right there go to Nahum was you reading there this morning Nahum well it's about five books before Matthew four or five right before Beckett right before Beckett and right after Micah and Amos and Hosea after those Nahum last one there's a about what I say that I rebuke
that now I see somebody you know it's really fighting for Nahum and you know what they they want hey you just like that was before I told Nahum why did Nahum 1 verse 2 a jealous and avenging God is the Lord now let me ask you something what what about why is the Lord jealous what's he jealous for look at me look at me look at me please look at me he's jealous for all your heart now he's not jealous for your heart to be over here Satan part of the world part of the things the world part that he wants all your heart amen now that's what he's jealous for so he's he's avenging God when he you provoke him to jealousy amen that when you bring in idols and everything you broke provoke him to jealousy and that's not purity is that that's impurity amen we saw what happened impure people so it
didn't we okay a jealous and avenging God is the Lord the Lord is avenging and wrathful the Lord takes vengeance on his adversaries amen now and he reserves wrath for his who enemies now you remember in what is that what did it say in James 4 for he who is a friend of the world is a what enemy of God was he reserved wrath bar for his enemies he reserves wrath for his enemies doesn't he now let's go to three the Lord is slow to anger but he is great in power and the Lord was no means going to leave the guilty unpunished in whirlwind and storm in this way do you remember in Jeremiah 23 we saw in the last days you're going to understand about the storm of the Lord aren't you right alright in the last days you clearly understand this now the clouds are dust beneath his feet let's look at
verse 6 who can stand before his indignation now there is what did we see about the l13 his instruments of indignation his instruments of the proud exalting ones that he's going to turn loose to destroy the earth is that right is that right just look at me like a cave in a new gate shake your head or something at me okay now who can stand before his indignation who can endure the burning of his anger who can endure it his wrath is what poured out like a fire now what do you mean talking about poured out you're talking about who is this wrath the powers of darkness they're poured out it's the spirit of the devil it's the flood it's poured out like a fire amen they are the fire amen all right now let's just continue and rocks are broken up by him now verse 7 the Lord is good a strong hold a
day of trouble he knows those who take refuge in him now glory verse 14 the Lord has issued a command concerning you your name is no longer going to be perpetuated I'm going to cut off island image from the house of your gods I'm going to prepare your grave for your contemptible now Nahum to verse 1 the one who scatters has come up against you now may I ask you who is it like in Ezekiel 34 who is the one that scatters the powers of darkness they come to scatter the plot they scatter them they scatter them the one who scatters has come up against you man the fortress watch your road strengthen your back summon all your strength now look in verse 6 the gates of the river of open now that's the flood that's the gate we've looking over there in Matthew 7 that is a river you know that you see
in Revelation 12 I think it's verse 15 that you see the river of Satan that comes out of his mouth now what is it coming out of his mouth it's a river of rebellion is that comes through the powers of darkness and it's rebellion that comes to you they are the flood that carries people away rebellion all right now the gates of the river of open and the what I told you the palace at the palace in Babylon is dissolved now verse 7 it is fixed she is stripped she is carried away and her handmaid carried away to the powers of darkness and her handmaids are moaning like doves beating on their breasts now verse 11 where is the den of lines and the feeding place of the young lines where the lion and the lioness and the lion cubs prowl now that's the powers of darkness and it didn't have anything
they just come and go as they like do you hear me now Nahum 3 verse 1 woe to the bloody city who has that bloody city is that Babylon she's completely full of lies and pillage her prey never departs verse 4 all because of her many the many harlot harlot trees of the harlot the charming one the mistress of sorceries now is that who we've been talking about Babylon amen who sells nations by her harlot trees how does she sell them she sells them to the devil for to exploit them reputation careers greed and all these things she sells them who sells nations by her harlot trees and families by her sorcery now do you see that sells them to the powers of darkness are you seeing that clearly do you remember Revelation eighteen is talking about their sorcery OK now look at verse five behold I'm
against you declares the Lord a host I'm going to lift up your skirts over your face I'm going to show to the nations your nakedness which I'm going to show in your harlot harlot tree and your lostness and that the kingdom's your disgrace now look at verse thirteen behold your people are women in your midst now how do we all your strength to be weakened all your strength to be weakened and you're going to come like women is that what we've already read behold your people are women in your midst the gates of your land are open wide to your enemies in other words the gates come to the devil just comes and goes he wishes the gates open wide fire consumes your gate bars is that what we've been seeing now in verse fourteen fifteen their fire will consume you that's the power of the dark the
sword the curse is going to cut you down it will consume you as a what locus have we already covered the locus some of you get these tapes now that didn't didn't get these morning sessions I'm going to tell you what you want your morning to see and it's all over the place and so forth and I'm sorry that when you go back to this you're going to be you're going to be surprised at what what this ties into you okay now multiply yourself like the creeping locus multiply yourself like a swarming locus now we see those locus over in Revelation it's going to come destroy in the last days is that right now in verse eighteen your shepherds are sleeping your shepherds are sleeping the shepherds are asleep O king of Assyria your nobles are lying down your people are scattered on the mountain there's
no one to regather them verse nineteen there is no relief for your breakdown your wound is incurable all to hear about you going to clap their hands for on whom has not your evil passed continually now you're seeing that those locus you know who those are those are the troops of the Lord are you hearing what I'm saying now they're the troops of the Lord is everybody seeing that the truth the same truth that God on Job Amen that brought when the when the darkness Amen okay now turn to Joel turn to Joel back to Joel about two or three chapters Joel 1 now see if you recognize something here Joel 1 Joel 1 verse 2 now we're going to talk to the elders hear this verse 2 O elders and listen all inhabitants of the land as anything like this happened in your day or in your father's day now we are
being told over and over Revelation there's never been a time like this since the world began okay now look at verse four what the gnawing locus is left you understand what this is this is the powers that I can turn loose and you'll see it clear the gnawing locus is left the swarming locus is eating what the swarming locus is left the creeping locus is eating what the creeping locus is left the stripping locus is eating they come in to destroy of course you become the Lord you can be you can be restored back to what the locus have eaten is that right okay now verse five awake who drunkard now who's the drunkard look at me folks look at me drunkards are staggering and stumbling and spiritual darkness their paths are crooked they're stumbling who is Jesus Jesus can keep you from stumbling
make you stand in the glory of his presence how he's going to do it you've got to hold him blameless before him in love amen okay now so so you better wake up drunkards and weep and well all you grand wine drinkers on account of the sweet wine that is cut off the words cut off from your mouth drunkards that's the reason you're staggering and stumbling and spiritual darkness amen is that right and verse six let's go to nine well no I was let's look in six there for a nation has invaded my land mighty and without number they're mighty and without number its teeth is like a teeth of the who did we see that over in Deuteronomy 32 that we've been seeing about the lines who the lines are that the power of the darkness and it has fangs there's the fangs as a serpent of a lioness it has made my
lavine a waste and my fig tree splinters it stripped them bare and cast them away their branches have become white well like a virgin girded with sackcloth for the bridegroom of her youth look at verse ten now where's the feel that look at me right here is the field in it now I want you to really write something in here the field is ruined the land okay it's ruined the land mourns it's a curse that's why it mourns and in that what revelation eighteen the Babylon said we will not mourn there's no more mourn they know calamity come on that the grain is ruined no fruit the new wine dries up the word no word a famine just put the famine and the fresh oil fails the anointing and no anointing amen now verse twelve the vine dries up now is that what we've been seeing when the vine dries up and
the fig tree fails the pomegranate they aren't palm also an apple tree all the trees the field dry up indeed a rejoicing dries up from the sons of men now they said what we saw that all rejoicing is going to be removed all joy and gladness going to be moved from Babylon amen now let's just continue gird yourself with sackcloth and lament Oh priest well low ministers of the elder come spend the night in sackcloth though me a ministers of my God for the grain offering and a libation in other words he said you better come and start repenting amen little birds fourteen consecrated fast but claim of Solomon said and they gather the elders and all the inhabitants of land to the house of the Lord your God and cry out to the Lord a last for the day for the day of the Lord is near and it will come
as what destruction from the Almighty now folks don't you remember that my word destruction because we're going to run a lot more has not the food now this is the word of God has not the word the spiritual food been cut off before your eyes now look here here's the next one there it is gladness and joy from the house of our God are you seeing that now folks let me ask you something how do you think that joy and gladness gets cut off from the house of the Lord tell me it's very clear when you burn the wrong fruit the power of the darkness come in they wipe it all off there's no joy and gladness where it's worrying anxiety strife confusion hate anger murder disorder never evil thing amen joy and gladness is cut off the head is down amen there's no wall ok now has not the food that's a word
been cut off when there's a family the word gladness and joy go to now do you tie that in with babbling what we've always seen about babbling over and over shake your head again to me do it just there you go all right now the seeds shrivel under the clod now what does that mean when they slide look at me right here when there's clods that means you haven't broken up your foul of ground that means you've got a hardened heart amen and see the word of God comes in and it just shrivels up because it's not what it's not good soul so the seeds shrivel up on their clods the storehouses are desolate the barns are torn down for the grain is dried up there's no fruit and look at verse 19 to thee O Lord I cry the fire who is a fire that sees locusts it's the powers of darkness it's the curse have
what they devoured the what the pastors of the wills they've shut off the word and the flame has burned up all the what two of the trees the field two of the trees the field the trees the field you and I and the fire comes in what burns them up set the sanctuaries burned to the ground that what we've been seeing over and over okay now chapter two blow a trumpet in Zion they remember that song blow a trumpet in Zion well what if you find out tonight they've been singing about demons that's exactly what's happening singing about the powers of darkness you're talking about the troops they're talking about the wrong army blow a trumpet in Zion and sound alarm on my holy mountain let all the inhabitants of the land what tremble on the holy mountain for the day of the Lord is coming surely it
is near it's going to be a day of darkness and gloom we already saw that in Zephaniah 1 a day of clouds and thick darkness the dawn is spread over the mountains so there is a great and a mighty people there's never been anything like it nor will there be again after it to the years of many generations ever been the time and torment and judgment is coming up right now do you hear me right a fire consumes before them and behind them a flame burns now look here the land is like Garden of Eden before them now seeing it beautiful before them and then when they pass through what does it look like a desolate wilderness behind him are they the abomination that's going to make desolation they're going to come into the temple a man and nothing at all escapes them while people are asleep first six
before them the people are in anguish and all faces turn pale they run like mighty wind they climb the wall like soldiers they each march in line they do not deviate from their path now let me ask you what are you talking about right here they're the troops that we've been reading about in Joel they're the proud exulting ones that the Lord turns loose to destroy Isaiah 13 they do not crowd each other they march everyone in his path when they burst through the defenses they do not break wrench they rush on the city what does that mean they're rushing on who there they are now is that part of the song they rush on the city climb on the wall they rush on a city they run on the wall they climb into the what look at me only show you one of those houses they rush it you only show you the wall
hold your place right there turn back to Ezekiel 13 I'll show you what the wall looks like Ezekiel 13 this army of God is demons the powers of darkness now Ezekiel 13 verse 2 son of man you prophesy against these preachers of the church Israel the church that God's always had a Israel hasn't he since Exodus they prophesy and say to those who are preaching from their what their speech you preaching from their own inspiration inspiration listen to the Word of God thus says the Lord God woe to who what kind of prophets foolish prophets they're foolish virgins who are following their own spirit and what have they seen look at me let me show you nothing they've never seen God do nothing all they do is just see flesh manipulated that's nothing zero the rim off of it Oh Israel your prophets have
been like foxes among the ruins see they're not in a war they're not resisting the devil you've not gone into the breaches nor did you build a wall that's a wall of the wall is the glory of Jesus around the house of Israel to stand in a battle on the day of the Lord we're told in Ephesians 6 we better stand and do all to stand amen now in verse 6 they see falsehood here's your traditions and lying devil nations who are saying the Lord declares when the Lord has not sent them yet what are they hoping for the fulfillment of their word because they're wanting to look good himself they're not trying to God's make God look good they want to say the word so they'll look good that's flesh did you not see a false vision and speak a lying devil nation when you said the Lord declares but it's not I
who has spoken therefore thus says the Lord God because you've spoken these falsehood traditions and seen alive therefore behold I'm against you declares the Lord God so my hands going to be against the prophets who see these false visions they utter these lying devil nation they play it they'll have no place in the council of my people nor will they be written down in the register of the house of Israel nor will they enter the land of Israel that you'll know that I'm the Lord now verse 10 it is definitely because these people have what these prophets have misled my people by saying what look at me you surely shall not just follow me I'm led by my own inspiration follow me I'm led by my own inspiration if you don't have to see God do nothing you don't have to see the governance of God
just follow me you surely shall not die they say peace when there is no peace and when anyone builds a wall before they plaster it over with what uh-oh that's the walls the demons run on the white horse wall it's the cover-up it act like it's a wall of Jesus if phony is a three dollar bill inside say we got protection here for Godness a dwelling place of demons the glory of Jesus and not in 25 miles of right now that's the wall we're talking about the demons run on the white horse wall and you're going to see it right here but next two or three verses so you tell those who plaster it over this white war it's going to say it's all right that it will fall I'm telling you when God's it's not all right a flooding rain or come old hailstones will fall in a violent wind or break out who do you
think that is that's a storm of the Lord that's them behold when the wall is falling when you nod at me as where's the plaster which you plastic therefore that says the Lord God I'm going to make a violent wind break out in my wrath and there will also be in my what in his anger of what there is a flood a flooding rain and of hailstones are going to consume it in my wrath that's exactly what you're reading over Joel now let's go back over there this concludes tape number 13 please fast forward this tape to return it to the beginning please proceed to tape number 14 where this message continues
