"I'll Never Be the Same"

With great anticipation, and not having a clue of what God had in mind for my church or myself, I experienced a week of spiritual and physical grace, mercy, love, repentance, and forgiveness which was life changing.

Day after day, night after night, the Holy Spirit peeled back layers of past sin, past failures, and past hurt, and brought me to such a point of conviction that I felt a waterfall of Christ's love for me washing me clean. As I became empty of Robb, He began filling me with His Spirit in the form of hope, renewal, and rebirth.

On Monday, an employee of mine died from a brain aneurysm. Although I did not get along well with this associate, I was convicted of the fact that I did not always act as a Christian should act when dealing with her. I was not a shining example of what Jesus Christ had done for me in my life. I now knew, albeit too late, that I never knew if she had a personal relationship with Christ. I had spent too much time in judgment and not enough in God's mercy. Monday night I repented and turned to the Lord for guidance and forgiveness.

I now ask through prayer for the Holy Spirit to guide me in my discipleship training, as Robb is a failure in it without Christ's leadership and example.

Tuesday gave an explosive example in seeing the Hand of God work right before my eyes! With a "Million Dollar Diamond Event" that day which called for months of prep work, a visit from my supervisor, and much of the world's pressure possibilities, God had another blessing in disguise for me!!! Who should arrive just before I opened the gates but the Loss Prevention Supervisor! Whoa! This really had the makings of a Robb Scuderi pity party. You see, my inventory in July was seriously short and I did not have any idea what could have gone wrong. I only knew that it was in Christ's hands and not mine and I had given it to Him months before.

So with this recipe for disaster in a full scale investigation during a major sales promotion something truly of God took place!

Not only did my team (God's team) blow away sales quota that day, but the majority of shortage was found almost immediately when a computer glitch was discovered that had never occurred in the company's history. Can I get a huge AMEN?!!!

Even on the nights I had to work, I felt the Holy Spirit regenerating Bay Street. It truly was a joy to see and feel the Spirit in our presence in a way I have never seen or felt before! I feel we are answering God's call at Bay Street, and as long as we daily die to self, LISTEN for HIS will, and make our commitments and decisions based on HIS laws, HIS love, and HIS examples . . . HIS blessings will continue to rain down on us!!!
