Mount Of Beatitude Part 2

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, one God, Amen. We thank our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for his infinite love, mercy, and compassion, allowing us to be in his holy presence, in his holy church. And for those who are with us here in this holy church, and those who are watching us through live streaming, may the Almighty Jesus Christ of Nazareth bless you, guide you, and protect you all the days of your life, and forevermore.

Amen. If I could ask everyone to stand for the Lord's Prayer, please. In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, one God, Amen.

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be your name. Your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us today our daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as we forgave our debtors.

And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For yours is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever and ever. Amen.

Psalm number 111. Praise the Lord. I will praise the Lord with my whole heart.

In the assembly of the upright, and in the congregation. The works of the Lord are great, studied by all who have pleasure in them. His work is honorable and glorious, and His righteousness endures forever.

He has made His wonderful works to be remembered. The Lord is gracious and full of compassion. He has given food to those who fear Him.

He will ever be mindful of His covenant. He has declared to His people the power of His works, in giving them the heritage of the nations. The works of His hands are verity and justice.

All His precepts are sure. They stand fast forever and ever, and are done in truth and uprightness. He has sent redemption to His people.

He has commanded His covenant forever. Holy and awesome is His name. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, a good understanding of all those who do His commandment.

His praise endures forever, and all glory be to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, forever and ever. Amen. We thank the Lord Jesus always, our Lord and Savior, for allowing us to be in His holy presence and sharing His living and life-giving word, the truth, which is the Holy Bible, the scriptures written between Genesis and Revelation, a period of about 1,600 years.

With over 40 authors, or over 40 writers, I should say, 40 writers, different backgrounds, different educational levels, different times and locations, yet all 40 writers wrote the same thing. Jesus Christ is the only way, the only truth, and the only life. He is God, creator of everyone and everything that is visible and invisible, and He was revealed in the flesh over 2,000 years ago, crucified in the days of Pontius Pilate, was buried and rose from the dead on the third day, ascended to heaven, and sat at the right hand of His Father to save, redeem those who believe in Him and receive Him as Lord and Savior to their own life.

This is the God we believe in, and we thank Him from the bottom of our hearts. Amen, my beloved. There we go.

Today we are continuing our topic from last Friday, which is the Gospel according to St. Matthew, and last Friday we covered Matthew 5, 1 to verse 3. So today we'll be reading from verse 4 onwards, and we'll see what the Lord is going to give us this blessed evening. So it is the Gospel according to Matthew, chapter 5, verse 4, and it is actually to 16. I'm not sure if we're going to be able to finish it, we'll see.

Verse 4, blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted. Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth. Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be filled.

Blessed are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy. Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God. Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God.

Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness' sake, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are you when they revile and persecute you, and they say all kinds of evil against you falsely for my sake. Rejoice and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in heaven.

For so they persecuted the prophets who were before you. You are the salt of the earth, but if the salt loses its flavor, how shall it be seasoned? It is then good for nothing but to be thrown out and trampled underfoot by men. You are the light of the world.

A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden, nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven. And all glory be to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, forever and ever.

Amen. Okay, last Friday, we covered those first three verses of Matthew 5, and we said the first thing the Lord Jesus ever said in his public speech, which is the royal speech, the Mount of Beatitudes, where the Lord began his ministry and his royal speech with the word blessed. And we said blessed was given in the good, in the olden Greek, the ancient Greeks, they used to refer to their gods as the word makarios is in Greek, which means the blessed.

So they used to refer to their gods as makarios, the blessed ones. And God is the highest and exalted level ever to exist. Every human being looks up to that God, whichever God is of their own, they believe in.

So he began with the word blessed. The Lord came to give those who choose him as Lord and Savior, the ultimate of ultimates, the highest level of gifts, and he will give you anything and everything. And the highest gift he could ever give any human being is himself.

There is no one nor anything greater than God himself. He came to give you himself the ultimate of ultimates. The Lord came seeking people for his kingdom.

And he said, the people I'm looking for, I'm keeping an eye on to enter my kingdom. They must qualify within these nine blessings. These are my criterias.

If you wish to enter my kingdom of heaven, you must qualify in these nine criterias, the nine blessings. The first criterion, the first blessing was, blessed are the poor in spirit for this is the kingdom of heaven. The Lord Jesus is saying, if you wish to enter my kingdom, the kingdom of heaven, you need to be first and foremost poor.

What is poor? Lord, I am hopeless. What is poor? Lord, I am useless. What is poor? Lord, I am good for nothing.

What is poor? I am bankrupt. I am paralyzed. I am blind.

I am dumb. All this is poor. The Lord is saying, if you come to me and you say, I can do this for you, Lord.

I can build this for you, Lord. I can bring people to you, Lord. Jesus says, I don't know you.

You cannot qualify until you come and say, Lord, I have sinned before you and before heaven. I am worthy of absolute nothing. I am the most wretched being ever to exist.

Have mercy on me, son of David. Have mercy on me, I the sinner. I am blind.

I am a beggar sitting at the wayside begging for a drop of mercy from the Lord of mercy, Jesus Christ of Nazareth. When you come to the Lord confessing that you are absolutely dead, the Lord will say you qualify. I seek the illiterate.

I don't need the educated, prudent people. I seek the ignorant, not the smart. If you think you're wise, then Jesus is not your portion.

Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. And we spoke about this last Friday. We need to continue.

One thing we said, the Lord put these blessings in an order so perfect, so eloquent, so perfect, so eloquent, they fall into this perfect order so beautifully. The first one is, blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. The second one follows is verse four, which is today's topic.

Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted. The first time ever you're coming back to Jesus Christ of Nazareth. You were born in a Christian family, by the way, that could be the case.

It's not necessarily that you come from a different religious background or an atheist. No, you were born in a Christian family, raised in a Christian family. You went to church, maybe not every Sunday, but you've been to church.

You are to somewhat degree familiar with the Christian faith, but you have never ever been familiar with the honor of this faith, Jesus Christ of Nazareth. You went to church, but you never knew Jesus. You heard about him, but you never knew him.

So the first time you are coming now to entering a personal relationship, and this no one can tell you or teach you about it except the Lord Jesus himself. When you truly have a real encounter with the Lord, it is then and then only you will realize who Jesus Christ is and what is he all about. For the first time ever, everything looks different, tastes different, is seen different than ever before.

That moment you will realize one thing, I am nothing but poor. I thought I was rich. I thought I was strong.

I thought, but all those thoughts were nothing but a delusion. Satan deceived you all those years. Now I'm coming, I'm saying, Lord, I'm poor.

What is poor? I'm empty. There is emptiness from within. Lord, I had millions of dollars in the account.

I was never content. I had all the wealth that I could ask for, but I was never happy. I had everything readily available at my fingertip, but I never, never had peace from within.

I was always upset, angry. I lived in a chaotic lifestyle, yet I had everything. So when Jesus touched my heart, I realized I'm empty.

So when I came to him empty, and not only came to him empty, confessing to him that I am empty, what did the Lord do? The first thing he did, he filled me with his Holy Spirit. He filled me with his Holy Spirit. That's why step number two, blessed are those who mourn, who shed tears, who cry.

Why? Why mourning came after being poor? Because I came empty, he filled me with his Holy Spirit. The moment he filled me with his Holy Spirit, what happened inside of me? The light of the world came inside of me. The one who says, I am the light of the world.

So inside of me, for the first time ever, electricity is reinstated and the light is on. Prior to that, there was nothing inside but total darkness. When the light came on, the Holy Spirit enlightened the entire me.

The whole of my being was enlightened by the Holy Spirit. When the light came on, for the first time, I saw all of my sins right before my very eyes. I saw them.

See, the Holy Spirit reveals your sins to you. When I looked at my sins, realizing then that every sin I committed, every crime I had done, broke this holy and sacred heart of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. When I realized what I have done to the very heart that loved me to death, to the very heart that sacrificed wholeheartedly for my salvation and redemption.

When I realized the magnitude of my offense, I cried, I mourned. For every moment, I was disobedient to Jesus Christ of Nazareth. I mourned.

I cried. Lord, forgive me for every time I made a mistake and broke your heart. As a true Christian, as a true Christian, I am not afraid of the Lord Jesus.

I have fear of the Lord. I have fear of the Lord. I am not afraid of him.

Why? Because when I realized how much the Lord Jesus loves me, how can you be afraid with the one who loved you more than himself? How can you be afraid of the one who loved you and died for you on the cross? You cannot be afraid of him, but I have the fear of him. What is the difference between afraid and fear? The following. If I'm afraid of the Lord, meaning if I make a mistake, I'm afraid he's going to chop my head and throw me in hell.

This is being afraid of the Lord. But what is fear of the Lord? Is now I fear I don't make a mistake because the last thing I want to do is break his heart. This is my fear.

I'm not afraid of you, Lord. I am fearing not to hurt you. Because I know you love me.

I know you didn't come to judge me. I know you came to save me and redeem me. But my fear now, I don't want to make you cry.

I don't want to upset you and break your heart anymore. You don't deserve it, Lord, for the love you've showed me. Shame on me that I really broke your heart.

That's why I mourned when the Holy Spirit enlightened me, awakened me, opened my spiritual eye for the first time. I cried because I realized by the grace of the Lord through the power of the Holy Spirit and by the love of God the Father, I've realized how much I really hurt my Jesus. The most painful, the most painful suffering the Lord endured until this moment was not the crown of thorns, was not the nails in his hands and his feet, was not the whipping and the shredding of his pure body, was not that spear that went in his side.

All these wounds after a little while can heal and the pain can disappear. But there is one wound cannot heal ever. The wound of the one you love the most and then he returns that love with a knife in the heart.

When the one you love the most turns around and hurts you the most, that wound cannot heal. Jesus loves us and we are loving Satan. Jesus calling us and we are going to Satan.

Jesus begging us and we are begging Satan. Jesus saying come to my holy church and we are going to Satan's house. Jesus says come to the light and we're going to darkness.

Jesus says come and praise me and we go and swear and use foul language. Jesus comes and says let me hug you, instead we hug Satan and the world. It's extremely painful, unbearable when you love the most and the one you love misunderstands you completely and totally.

This is unbearable. So the Holy Spirit made me realize for the first time how much I have hurt my Lord. I started mourning, crying for every time I upset your Lord except my tears.

This is why my beloveds, tears never lie. You know why? Because tears we have no control over. I can control the way I speak.

I can fabricate the words. I can twist them and I can cover them with sweetness. But the tears never lie.

You know why? Because the tears come from the depth of your being. They come from the well of your heart. The water has to come from a source.

Those tears come from the heart, not from the lips. That's why they never lie. Because the heart never lies, the lips do.

Every time we cry, straight after that we feel very comfortable. They are a way of relief. I am distressed.

I'm in agony. I'm feeling that I'm suffocating and choking. I can't take it anymore.

I break down and I start crying like a baby. The moment I finish crying, a huge relief engulfs me. Why? Because whatever I was thinking of which led me to those tears, I was genuine about.

I wasn't acting. See, when we act, tears can't come. But when we are genuine, tears naturally come.

And when they come, we can't stop them. Because now I'm genuinely being me. So when I came to the Lord genuinely, for the first time in my life, truly confessing that I'm a sinner, I am feeling that I'm a sinner, I am seeing that I'm a sinner, I am living that I'm a sinner, I began crying.

The moment I came into that genuine stage, tears started coming from the depth of my heart. And the church fathers say the tears of the eyes are the second baptismal font. Just like we get baptized through the sacrament of holy baptism, through that baptismal font for the remission of sin and for a new life in Christ, so as the tears of the eye are the second baptismal font that give me a new beginning with the Lord Jesus.

With the tears of the eye, the water of the eye, I wash my sins which I had just confessed with tears coming down of my eyes. The Lord wiped me clean right out because he saw my tears. In the song of Solomon, which we're probably going to do one of these days, we'll do a commentary on it, stunning, eight chapters, it will take us about eight months.

Or the way I'm going, it'll be probably a year and a half. In the song of Solomon, the Lord Jesus, the heavenly groom is talking to the bride. He's just about to come and strike her because he is naughty.

His girl is naughty. The church is naughty. He is begging the church, listen to your man.

Listen to your heavenly groom. She is listening to Satan more than her heavenly groom. He is angry.

He is offended. He is upset with the church. He comes to strike her down and then he sees her crying.

Look in the song of Solomon, he says, please keep your eyes away from me because they have overcome me. Please turn your eyes away from me because they have overcome me. If you want to overcome God, only way you can overcome him is with tears gushing down your eyes.

He can't handle it. A moment ago, so angry he was. The moment he sees you cry, so tender he becomes.

He will come running faster than the speed of light. He will not only take you, but he will put you in the core of his heart and he will forget everything wrong you've done against him. Just by seeing tears coming down from your eyes.

The only thing that overcomes me, I, Jesus Christ of Nazareth, is eyes that are shedding tears. I can't handle it. They break me.

I melt like a candle when I see you crying, my beloved. Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted. I cried for the sins I committed against you, my sweetheart, Jesus Christ of Nazareth.

I cried seeking your mercy, your forgiveness. And the Lord says, you cried and you mourned, but I will comfort you. Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted.

Who's going to comfort me? Well, the Lord Jesus said it. I will send you the helper. I will send you the comforter from my father in my name.

He will come to comfort you. The Holy Spirit will comfort those who mourn their sins. That's why after you cry, you receive comfort.

God now is saying, I'm with you. Do not fear, for the Lord is ever near. I'm with you.

So now I came to comfort you with my Holy Spirit, by my Holy Spirit. Because you confessed your sins. And you will be comforted by your God, by your Lord Jesus Christ of Nazareth.

First I came poor, empty. The Lord filled me. See, if you go to the Lord full and ask for his help, he's going to say, well, you came full.

What do you expect from me? I can't help you. You already came a full glass. You need to come an empty glass so I can fill you.

Well, you are coming, seeking my counsel, seeking my help. How can I help a full glass? You need to come empty, poor, so that I can enrich you with my richness. Come empty so I can fill you up with my Holy Spirit.

So that you can realize your mistakes and start mourning on them. In order for me to comfort you. And after you confess your sins and genuinely admitted that you have sinned against God, then you will find comfort.

Those restless nights are gone. The fear is gone. The chaos is gone.

The confusion is gone. The brokenness is gone. The emptiness is gone.

The darkness is gone. You are renewed, renewed, comforted by the Holy Spirit. The third person and the Holy Trinity, all glory to the Triune God.

When you are comforted by the Holy Spirit in Jesus' mighty name, the third, the third blessing, blessed are the meek for they shall inherit the earth. Do you have time? Blessed are the meek for they shall inherit the earth. When you read this in English and any other language except Arabic, you will lose the core meaning of it.

Because when you read it in English and it says, blessed are the meek. If I ask you, what is meek? Straight away, you'll say, oh, someone down to earth, someone humble, someone very, very nice and very peaceful, humble down to earth. But you see, when you read it in the Arabic language, the word is wuda'a.

Anybody speaks Arabic here? Very good. The word is wuda'a. Wuda'a derives from the word ida'a.

Ida'a literally in English means to deposit, to deposit something. So blessed are the meek for they shall inherit the earth. Who are the meek? They are in Arabic wuda'a.

Wuda'a means to deposit something. If you didn't know this fact, I used to work in the Commonwealth Bank. Good old days, baby.

Which bank? The Commonwealth Bank. Good old days, those ads on TV. I was a branch manager.

My professional side was finance and management. 22 years of my life in finance and management. I used to give back then financial advice.

Today, I give spiritual advice. It's an advice anyway. And if you'd like to donate for the advice, there is a box over there.

I used to work in the bank to deposit something. What do we call it in the bank's terminology? Safe custody. Safe custody.

People used to come and get a box, and they used to pay monthly, yearly fees on it. In that box, they had their most valuable things. Why did they come to the bank? Because they thought if we kept those most valuable things to us at home, we are afraid a thief might break in one day and steal the most valuable items we have.

To have that peace of mind, I need to put it in a safe custody box and put it in this big safe with a massive steel door. You can't drill it. You can't blow it.

You can't enter. You can't steal from there. They used to come and put their most valuable things in that box, and then we put it into the wall, and then we lock it with a couple of keys.

And there is a massive steel door with all those knobs. Combinations. The good old combinations.

That person would go home and sleep at peace, knowing my most valuable item is in good hands. Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth. Blessed is the soul that comes and safe deposit the most valuable thing that soul has in the safe custody of Jesus Christ of Nazareth.

What is our most valuable thing that we ever have? Spirit. Our spirit is the diamond. I don't want the thief, Satan, to come and steal it from this home.

Because as long as this spirit is in this home, the body, I am afraid Satan will make me fall into sin through this body, and then snatch the spirit from me by making me sin. He has broken into this body, home, and stole the most valuable item I have, my spirit. So what do I do? I need to go and put my spirit in the safest place ever to exist.

What is the safest place? The Lord Jesus said it in John 10, 29 and 30. You read, you read in John 10, 29. He says, no one, no one can take away anything from my father's hand.

What is the safe custody place here? The hand of my father. No one can take away anything from my father's hand. Verse 30, I and the father are one.

Oh, hallelujah. And you're telling me Jesus is not God? Who can dare to place himself before God? You see, did you notice? The Lord didn't say the father and I are one. No, he said I and the father are one.

He put himself before the father. If he was not equal with his daddy, he wouldn't have dared to say I and the father are one. No one takes anything away from my father's hand.

I and the father are one. That's why Jesus, the man hanging on the cross with the last breath about to be given away. What did he say? Father, in your hand, I commit my spirit.

Wow, safe custody. Jesus was the meek one. He was the meek one.

The human Jesus put his human spirit in his daddy's hand because he knew the moment he puts that spirit in his father's hand, he can sleep safe and sound knowing he will rise from the dead since the spirit is in the father's hand, not in Satan's hand. He will rise. There is no death.

There is no death. I came to the Lord empty, filled me with his Holy Spirit. When he filled me, he enlightened me.

He showed me all my mistakes. I cried for all the mistakes I've done against him. Then when I realized my mistakes.

This greatest sinner ever to exist. Yet I was a sinner. The Lord said, it's OK, I come to comfort you.

Wow. I have never, ever seen anyone love me this much. I have never, ever come across anyone so tender as you Lord.

Yet I have hurt you. I have stabbed you in the heart a million zillion times and you still wish to comfort me. Yes.

Why? Because I love you, my son. I love you. When I've realized what a sinner I am, when I've realized what an awesome God Jesus Christ is.

I said to myself, there is no other place for my spirit to be in safe hands than Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Blessed are the meek. Lord, today I come as this meek person and say, I'm depositing my spirit in your safe custody, in your hand.

And the Lord says, in my hand, I have engraved your name. The nail that went into my hand, that wound, I engraved your name in that wound. No one can wipe your name from my wound.

No one. Do you believe that Jesus can save you? No matter how sinful you are, no matter how distant you are, no matter how wretched you are, no matter how many mistakes you have done in your life. Do you believe that Jesus can save you and no one can take you away from him? If you believe, you will receive.

If you believe, you will receive. So I came and deposited my spirit, the most precious thing I have, in the hands of my Lord Jesus. And now I can sleep at peace.

I'm comforted. When I deposited my spirit in his hand, he said, blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth. When we deposit our spirit in the hands of the Lord Jesus, we will inherit the earth, which is Jesus Christ of Nazareth.

He is the earth that we need to inherit. Otherwise, what earth? This one? This is condemned. This earth gave us thorns and prayers because it is condemned because of Adam's sin.

But Christ is the new earth and everybody needs to inherit Christ. He is your portion. He is your inheritance.

When you inherit Christ, you inherit the kingdom of God. Because he is the land, the promised land himself. He is the promised land.

You need to inherit him. Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth. I came empty poor in the spirit.

He filled me with his Holy Spirit. He enlightened me. He showed me my mistakes.

I started crying on all the mistakes which broke his heart. Then I cried and I cried and I said, I'm sorry, Lord. He comforted me with his Holy Spirit.

When he comforted me, I realized how merciful, awesome this God is. Yet I've hurt him so much, but he never paid me back the same way. He paid me back in an absolute loving way.

I realized no one will ever love me more than him. No one can ever save me more than him. No one can ever care for me more than him.

Therefore, I am comfortable when my spirit is in the hands of the Lord. I want to inherit the Lord. I deposit my spirit in the Lord.

I want him to be my portion in the end. When I did this, the next step saw beautifully coming, flowing through. Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be filled.

And I'll stop at this one. Definitely. Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be filled.

When I tasted the love of the Lord. Yet and yet I was a sinner. He loved me more than himself by giving himself up on the cross for a piece of bread like me.

When I came to this realization, when I tasted this love, what happened to me? What happened inside of me? I became hungry and thirsty for righteousness. What is righteousness? Every godly deed is righteous. So righteousness means the work of God.

I became hungry and thirsty to do everything God wants me to do. You see, before I was hungry and thirsty to do everything Satan wanted me to do. I was dying to go to the club.

I was dying to play the pokies. I was dying to drink scotch on the rock. I was dying to sniff the white powder.

I was dying to steal. I was dying to kill. When Jesus changed me, now I'm dying to go to church.

I'm dying to drink the heavenly wine. The blood of the Lamb of God that washes away the sins of the world. I am dying to sing hallelujah to the Lord, praising.

I am dying to give life to people by bringing them closer and closer to Christ. Changed completely. I became hungry and thirsty to every deed that would please God.

No more Satan. Now it's all about Jesus. God revealed in the flesh.

I'm hungry, Lord. I'm thirsty. Wow.

Man, so true. Of course, it's the word of the true divine God. When the Lord touched my heart and changed me, I'm hungry now and thirsty to bring the whole world to the Lord Jesus.

I want to go out in the streets and shout and say, Jesus is the only one. Wow. People of the world, I'm shouting on top of my voice and I'm saying.

It would be an absolute shame to let this day go by, the 24 hour day, go by you without having some sort of an encounter with Jesus Christ of Nazareth. It would be an absolute loss and shame. Beloved people, you may see me as crazy.

You may see me as discriminative. You may see me as judgmental, but you will never understand why I'm acting, behaving, doing this until. Until you receive what Jesus has given me, then you'll understand why I was acting like crazy.

Because the moment Jesus touches your heart, you will act like crazy. You will act like crazy. Believe me.

King David, the king of Israel, the most venerated king in the history of the Israelite nation till this very day. And by the way, that star on the flag of Israel is the star of David. It's not our topic.

That is the star of David. And to put that star on the flag, what is the flag? The identity of your country, your dignity, your honor. So whose flag is it? David's.

The Israelites are saying, we are of David because he is the most righteous king we've ever seen. King David, when the ark of the covenant was being brought, the king of the nation came out before the ark, dancing like a little kid. His wife saw him.

She was so embarrassed, so embarrassed. She came to him and said, you're acting like a fool. You are a king for God's sake.

How dare you behave like a foolish little kid? Stop jumping like that. You look like a monkey. Enough.

You've embarrassed us all. You're an embarrassment to your throne and to your kingship. He said, women, you speak as a fool.

You don't understand. I am jumping, leaping with joy before the ark of the covenant. Do you understand what this ark of the covenant is? This ark of the covenant is Jesus Christ of Nazareth.

It is the holy cross. It is the altar of the Lord. The holy altar of the Lord.

It is the presence of the Lord in the midst of us. The Lord is here. Woman, you don't want me to act like crazy.

The love of my life is coming to us. The love of my life is coming to us. When you love from the heart, you will act like crazy.

See, when you read the Holy Bible, you need sometimes to read between the lines. Everything God created with his word. Let there be light.

There was light. Let there be this. And there was.

Let there be that. And there was. When he came to creating the human being, he said, let us go down and make this man in our image, according to our likeness.

Let's go and make this man. So to make something, you need to stretch your hands and make that being with your hands. Where did God put his hands to make the man? In the mud.

Adam. The word Adam in Hebrew, Aramaic, Syriac, comes from the word edamtha. Edamtha, dam means blood.

Edamtha means red mud. So God put his hands in the mud to make Adam, his son. God, what are you doing? He said, I'm making Adam.

Why are you putting your hands in the mud? He said, because I am love. I love my son more than me. My question to all of us, who plays in the mud? Little children.

But these little children, they do not know any better. They are not mature enough. When they play in the mud, they do it out of ignorance.

The Old Testament, the Israelite nation made out of 12 tribes. The New Testament church made out of 12 apostles. And these are the 24 elders which John the Beloved saw in Revelation chapter 4. So now, blessed are those who are hungry and thirsty.

For the Old Testament church, the Lord Jesus says, I am hungry. For the New Testament church, the Lord Jesus says, I am thirsty. Why do we see this? In the gospel according to St. John chapter 4. When the Lord was about to have an encounter with this Samaritan woman at the well.

And by the way, that well is where Gaza Strip is. See, Gaza was called Shekim or Shechem. Shekim, Neablis and then the Gaza Strip were our beloved Palestinians.

And please do pray for this war to come to a swift end. Enough killing, enough shedding blood of innocent children and people or just minding their own business. Unbelievable.

I've been to the Gaza Strip in one of our pilgrims that we go to Israel every time. I've been to one of them, to one of those pilgrims to the Gaza Strip. The bus driver... Sorry, I'll have to stop.

I have to mention this. I have to mention this. Look, the Lord loves everyone, okay? Humanity are very harsh.

The bus driver was a Palestinian Muslim. With all love and respect, I'm saying this. The bus driver was a Palestinian Muslim.

The tour guide was a Palestinian Muslim from the Gaza Strip. But he hasn't been to the Gaza Strip for the past five years at the time. When I said to them, we are going tomorrow because there was a holy site which happens to be in the Gaza Strip.

Which holy site was it? You read that in the Gospel of Luke where those two men were walking back to their village and the Lord catches up to them. And he says, what are you guys talking about? He says, looks like you're a stranger. You don't know.

It is Jesus, this mighty prophet. Look what happened to him. He said, I am the Messiah.

I'm this. But he was crucified. He died and they buried him.

So we're going back to our own life once again. Looks like it was all a lie. So as they come into the house, the sun is going down.

The Lord says, I'm going further. They begged him to stay with them. That house is turned into a church.

Now it is in the Gaza Strip. Amaus. The place is called Amaus.

So we, I said to them, we're going to the Gaza Strip. They said, Bishop, please. This is, they'll kill us.

I said, I don't care. We have the Lord Jesus, whatever the Lord wants. But I'm going.

Said, Bishop, please. We're Palestinian Muslims. We're scared to go in there.

And by the way, it is surrounded by a 15 meter concrete wall. And there is a gate and there is the Israeli army here. The moment we go through the gate, we are on our own.

No one will come to our rescue if something goes wrong. No one. No Israeli, no Australian, nothing, nothing.

We were on our own. Till now, I think about it. I say, if it was up to me, just me, I would have gone.

I don't care. But I had 55 people in the bus. But I took the risk in Jesus mighty name.

So we went. We crossed the gate. The gate is shut.

We're in Gaza Strip. Hamas is there. I don't know if they knew we were there.

Maybe we would have been gone with the wind. Anyway, I just want to say this. We drove.

The bus driver lost his way because he hasn't been there for a long time. He lost his way. We came to a dead end road and I saw the houses on the side of the road, all full of holes because of the wars throughout all those years.

The houses were, you can't live in them, but it was full of people. Living in them destroyed the houses as he was thinking how to go back and navigate again. I saw maybe a three year old girl came out of one of the houses.

She stood in front of the door. I'm looking from inside the bus onto that girl. I waved at her.

She waved at me. I said, good. I said, bus driver, open the door.

He said, Bishop, it was scary enough to come in here. You want me to let you out of the bus? He said, you know what will happen once you leave this bus? This whole town will come running at you. I will close the door and I'll drive away.

I can't help you. I said, open the door. He said, I'm not taking the risk.

I said, we pay you. You do as I say. Open the door.

I want to say hello to this little girl. Palestinian, Muslim girl, my sweetheart. Yeah, I don't care.

This is a little angel. Stop killing little angels. He opened the door.

Eventually, I came out of the bus. I said, close the door. He closed it.

I called her. I said, I spoke in Arabic. I said, come here, my darling, my sweetheart.

She came. I had an Australian flag, just a piece of stick and a little plastic flag on top of it. I didn't have anything.

I gave her that. It was as if I gave her the whole world. The first time ever someone giving a gift to this little angel.

She was overwhelmed with joy. She didn't know what to do. She started jumping.

And then her grandma came out. And as I was talking to them, I turned around. The whole town is running at me.

In the hundreds, men. And the way they were running, I said, I said, my name is Osama Bin Laden. I'll blow you up, brother.

The bus driver, Bishop, get in the bus. I said, go, brother. I'm not moving.

Let them chop me. What are they going to do? I don't care. I'm staying here.

They came in a blink of an eye running. I'm literally running fast like a gazelle. They surrounded the whole bus and me in the hundreds.

And they started saying, nobody asks about us. Nobody cares about us. Nobody knows how we live.

We are struggling here. Please, please help us. I went into the bus, collected some money, gave whatever we could give.

And then they started saying, God bless you. God be with you. Thank you so much for coming and visiting us.

Please tell everyone the way we live in here. We are starving to death. And they were.

There is a lot of Palestinians got nothing to do with what is happening there. They just want to live in peace. And I'm sure on the Israeli side as well.

I'm sure. Because I've met Jewish people. Absolutely beautiful.

From both sides. Absolutely beautiful. I pray they come both to the Lord Jesus.

They will find their comfort, their peace at last. Blessed are those who are hungry, who hunger and thirst for righteousness. Hunger, the Old Testament church.

Thirst, the New Testament church. The Lord Jesus at the well, where he met the Samaritan woman. What did he, what did the Lord say to his disciples? The twelve.

He said, I am hungry. Go and get some food. When the Samaritan woman came, he said to her, I am thirsty.

To the disciples, I'm hungry. To the Samaritan woman, I am thirsty. Who are the disciples? Israel.

Israel is the Old Testament. What is the Old Testament? The land. When you read in the Holy Bible, the land means Israel.

Out of the land comes food. What is the non-Israelite nation? The other nations, the pagan world. What do they resemble with? The sea, the water.

So the Lord says to Israel, the land, I am hungry. Go and get me food. But to the sea, i.e. the rest of the world, I am thirsty because you resemble the sea.

And the sea is water. I ask you this, when you eat something and you don't drink water, do you feel you are full? Or the food gets stuck? You feel very uncomfortable, don't you? But when you eat and then drink water, you say, ah, now I am full. And I am now energized.

You eat and then you drink. The Lord Jesus says, if I only eat and I bring the Old Testament church back to me, I'm not comfortable. If I only drink and I bring the New Testament church to me, I'm not comfortable.

But when I eat and drink, then I'll say I am comfortable. I am full. It is complete.

It is accomplished. It is done. That's why John the Beloved saw in heaven Christ the King sitting on the throne as the King of kings and Lord of lords.

And 24 elders surrounding the throne. The 24 elders, 12 the Old Testament, which is the tribes of Israel, and 12 the New Testament, the 12 apostles where the New Testament church was established and began by 12. 12 New Testament, 12 Old Testament.

At the end, the Lord will bring them together, united together around him in heaven. And then the Lord will say, I am full now. I am absolutely comfortable.

I ate and I drank, and therefore it is done. We'll stop at this. So that was verse 6. Oops, 4, 5, 6. Wow, amazing.

But honestly, I wanted just to break away from the book of Revelation. I don't want you to be bombarded all the time with it because there are some beautiful things in the Holy Bible, which we also need to be preoccupied with. Not just, oh, it's the end.

What's going to happen? Is China coming? Is Russia coming? Is America coming? Who cares? They can do whatever they want. I'm with my sweetheart, Jesus. My sweetheart, the Lord Jesus.

I don't care about America, Russia, China, what they do, man. They can do whatever they want to do. They want to send a nuclear rocket here? Please do.

Today before tomorrow, I want to go and meet my sweetheart, Jesus. What am I doing in this filthy world? Filthy world. Humanity has made the world filthy because they rejected God, Christ the King, and embraced Satan.

The people of the world have destroyed the world by following Satan. They became slaves. Slaves.

They call the light darkness and they call darkness the light. Amazing. Amazing.

Amazing, my beloved. Hold on to the Lord Jesus and say, Lord, I'm coming today as Paul. I'm empty.

Fill me with your Holy Spirit because I want to see my errors. When the light shines, all my filth is seen very clear in the light. When I saw all my filth, I started crying, mourning.

I said, Lord, forgive me. When I mourned with tears, the Lord came and comforted me with his Holy Spirit. He said, I love you and I will never stop loving you.

Forever, I will love you. All I want from you is just come back and say, sorry, I will fix you up. I'll make you a new creation once again.

I am God. What is impossible to man is possible to God. When I realized his love, his genuineness, his awesome person, what happened then? I became meek.

I deposited my spirit in his hand and I snorted off knowing for sure I am in safe hands. No one can snatch me from the hand of my heavenly father and Jesus Christ, my Lord and Savior says, I and the father are one. The one who died and rose from the dead for me, he and the father are one and no one takes anything from the hand of my father.

So now I am in safe hands. I can sleep with absolute ease and peace. When I became this confident in the Lord, I started becoming hungry and thirsty for every godly deed, righteousness.

Because the more I did good deeds, the more I was filled and fulfilled. And the more we do evil deeds, the more we are empty like a barren land, desolate. Every time we do something wrong, we wake up the following day feeling miserable, absolutely lost, empty.

But you go and do a great, a good deed, you feel so filled and enriched. So filled and enriched. So many people became so rich, so famous, yet they killed themselves.

They committed suicide. And a poor street beggar person lived so rich and walked away from this earth so rich. I'll leave you with this true story.

I have to say this. I've said it before. It's a true story.

Speaking of this poor street beggar, one day this man walked to this priest and he said, father, someone at this address has asked for you to visit him. So the priest goes looking for this address with difficulty. Eventually he finds the address.

The address is about just a hut. No doors, no windows, no nothing. Just, I don't know, some hut.

He walks in. He sees a man sitting there. No hands, no legs.

No hands, no legs. Just a piece of meat. And he sees in the middle a cloth bag.

And then he says, oh, thank you, father, for coming. I really appreciate it. Please take a seat.

He said, father, do you know why I asked for you? He said, no. He said, I asked for you. You see this bag? There is money in it.

I want you to take this bag that has money in it and give it to the poor. The priest is saying this. He said, I thought to myself, I don't think there is anyone poorer than you.

You have no hands, no legs. You live in a little hut and you are collecting money to give to the poor. He said, yes, father.

And if you don't mind, I'll be calling you every now and then to do the same thing. Anyway, one day, like any many other days before, the father goes to collect that bag of money to give to the poor, which he did all that time. This time, that man with no hands and no legs, he said, father, I'll say this to you.

Today is the last time you'll be coming here again because tomorrow I am with my Lord Jesus. The Lord Jesus came to me yesterday and he said, my son, you have endured all this suffering for my sake. You have carried my cross all these years with joy and happiness.

You never complained and whinged. And with the way you were born, you were happy in your Lord. My son, today you don't have hands and legs to make you walk and do things.

Tomorrow, my son, I will give you the wings of an eagle. You will soar in the heaven of your Christ. He said, father, don't feel sorry for me.

Tomorrow I'm flying. I'm not going to walk. I'll fly.

The following day, that man flew to Christ. Be rich in the Lord. Be rich in the Lord.

Amen. Lord Jesus, I trust in you. It is in the Holy Bible in the Old Testament.

It says, Lord, I trust in you. So that's very, very biblical. Okay.

So it's not that somebody has written it. It is in the Holy Bible. Lord, I trust in you.
