God Through The Pain

The dilemma of the human race is one thing. It all began in the Garden of Eden from the very start. When the Lord God pre-warned Adam out of love and concern for Adam and said to Adam, Do not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.

Don't eat because the day you eat from it surely you shall die. When Adam broke God's word and ate from the forbidden tree, Adam literally said to God, From this moment onward I, Adam, will be the definer of what is good and evil, not you God. I'll be the definer.

God said, The day that comes, Adam, and Adam is every human being. We are all Adam. Christians, non-christians alike.

He said, My beloved child, the day that comes, you become the definer of what is good and what is evil. Your beginning will be good, but your end, rest assured, will be evil. Mom, out of love and concern, Dad, out of love and concern, come to their children.

My son, my daughter, I beg you, don't mix with those people. Don't call them friends. Don't associate yourself with them.

Don't go out. Don't be late. Where are you going? What are you doing, my child? Listen to mom, listen to dad.

The children come back and say, Enough, mom and dad. Whether you like it or not, you need to face the inevitable. This is Australia.

This is not some village in the Middle East. And if you don't like it, mom and dad, well, tough luck. Because, mom and dad, I, as your son, I, as your daughter, I am the definer of what is good and what is evil, not you, mom and dad.

So I choose my friends and I say who are good for me and who are not. So when they define what is good, they misdefine it. And when they define what is evil, they also misdefine it.

In both, they fail. That's why, at the start, they're having fun. At the end, they're drinking poison.

For true and righteous are his judgments. God is the only being that qualifies fully completely to define what is good and what is evil. For God to allow an illness coming my way, that illness, for me, is bad.

It's evil. But God says, no, you are defining it as evil, but for me, it is absolutely good. So you keep on begging me to heal you.

I won't. You know why? Because the moment I heal you, I'll lose you. I'll lose you.

You beg me to give you money. The day I give you money, I'll lose you. You beg me to make you successful.

The day I make you successful, I will lose you. God is just and it's true when it comes to his judgments. He never fails.

He never misses the mark. He knows exactly what is good for you and what is not. And that is why, when you go through some rough seas, and you've been praying for a little while for those rough seas to come to absolute calmness and serenity, and if those prayers are not being answered back quickly, swiftly, it is being delayed.

Do not panic, because God sees, God knows, and he's in control. Don't ever think that he has forgotten you. Don't ever think that he has forsaken you.

Don't ever think he has walked away and left you behind. Impossible. Impossible.

But God knows when to bring you out of the rough seas, when to bring you out of the dark tunnel, when to bring you out of the illness, when to bring you out of the tribulation. Trust in the Lord, for his judgments are true and righteous, just. He never fails.

He does it all for your goodness, for your well-being, for your growth, for your advancement, for your enhancement, for your enlightenment, for your construction and being built. He wants you to be strong. Look at our Father Joseph, the just.

I mean by that, I'm talking about our Father Joseph of the Old Testament, not the new one. Even our Father Joseph, the just of the New Testament, amazing. But look at our Father Joseph in the Old Testament.

He was, he was loved by his dad, Jacob, the most. Because he is the child of Rachel, the one who worked for 14 years, slavery, just to marry Rachel. Leah, her dad said, I'll give you Leah for free, brother.

Leah, Lavan was his uncle. He said, I'll give you my other daughter Leah for free. He said, no, I want Rachel.

He said, you better work seven years like a slave for me. He said, I will work, she's worth it. Hey Rachel, you're worth it.

He worked seven years and then after the seven years, he said, okay, my seven years are up. I want to marry her. He said, she's not cheap, brother.

Another seven. He said, she's worth it. 14 years.

She gave him two sons, Joseph and Benjamin. By the way, one of the main tribes in Israel, the real Jews in Israel, are from the tribe of Benjamin. One of the main tribes now.

That's Rachel, yeah? Go Rachel. Joseph was loved. God showed him in a dream that his brothers and everyone will come and bow before him.

Now Joseph, when he saw that dream, he said, wow, that's amazing. Look at what God is doing for me. I'll live like a king.

Everyone will come and bow before me. And then trouble began with Joseph. The brothers tried to kill him.

Eventually threw him down the well and then they sold him to the Ishmaelites merchants. They took him as a slave to Egypt. It wasn't enough to be a slave in Egypt and he was captured and thrown in imprisonment like Guantanamo Bay.

With no trial, no court, no defense, nothing. So whoever goes to Guantanamo Bay never comes back alive. And Joseph is remembering what God told him many years back.

You'll be a king and they will, your brothers and everyone will come and bow before you. God, where is your promise? Do you call this king? I'm a slave. I'm in prison and nobody cares about me and I'm gonna die.

God never fails. At the appointed time, he made him second in charge to Pharaoh. He was the ruler of Egypt.

His brothers came and bowed before him. He saved them all. Let me put it this way, so you don't have to try hard.

Trust me, just give up and let God take control because you'll get nowhere if you try hard. You'll get nowhere. I've tried it.

The bead hasn't gone white slightly, you know, hasn't gone white lightly. God, the Lord Jesus will never entrust you with something precious from him until he builds you up to that level which he sees fit for this gift. So again, God, the Lord Jesus, will never entrust you with a precious gift from him until he builds you up where you can take care of that gift.

If the Lord Jesus gives you a precious pearl and you are still a baby in spirituality, he'll throw it away. He wants to make a man out of you before he gives you that precious pearl. But since he appointed that precious pearl for you, he will make sure he'll make a man out of you whether you like it or not.

So you argue, you fight, tough luck. The Lord will do what he sees fit because the Lord purchased you with his precious blood. He will never make, he will never let you go astray unless he brings you to him.

Until the last second of our life on earth, the Lord will try every way possible to bring us back to him. Unless we are beyond stubborn and reject him completely till the end, but he will never give up on you because he bought you with his own blood. He'll break you, he'll twist you, he'll bash you, he'll kick you, he'll punch you, but he will make a man out of you.

Because the Lord doesn't want little kids entering his kingdom. He wants real men, warriors, not weak, not cowards. Read the end of the book of Revelation.

There is a list of people who will not make it to God's kingdom. One of those names in that list are the cowards. He wants real warriors.

You know, when you face a challenge, what, you start crying? Doesn't work. He wants you to be men. He wants to be strong.

Face the challenges head-on and cut through them by the grace of the Lord Jesus. You know, like that big ship, when it sails in that big massive ocean, when the ocean goes wild, the ship never runs away from the waves. If the ship runs away from the waves, it will be tipped on its side and then eventually go down.

But it will face those massive, massive waves coming and will cut through it. This is the only way to make it to the shores of peace, cut through the waves. Face challenges and look him in the eye and say, in Jesus mighty name, just like you Lord, walked on that wild sea and you stepped on every wave, in your name Lord, I will step on every wave that come my way.
