Leslie Ludy (1975–) is an American Christian author, and speaker whose ministry focuses on inspiring women to pursue a set-apart life for Christ, emphasizing purity, biblical femininity, and spiritual devotion. Born Leslie Runkles on December 16, 1975, in Nacogdoches, Texas, she grew up in a context that led her to begin writing early, publishing her first book at age 19. She married Eric Ludy on December 20, 1994, in Denver, Colorado, and their love story, detailed in When Dreams Come True and When God Writes Your Love Story, gained significant attention in the Christian community. Together, they have six children—Hudson, Harper, Kipling, Avonlea, Lily, and Rees—four of whom are adopted, reflecting their commitment to adoption advocacy. Ludy’s preaching career has centered on her role as director of Set Apart Girl Ministries, which she founded to provide resources, conferences, and an online magazine encouraging young women in Christ-centered living. She served as executive director of Set Apart Girl, an organization offering books and training, and has spoken at hundreds of conferences, colleges, and events worldwide, often alongside her husband. A bestselling author, she has co-authored nearly 30 books with Eric, including Authentic Beauty and Set-Apart Femininity, the latter a finalist for the 2009 Retailer’s Choice Award in Women’s Non-Fiction. Living in Windsor, Colorado, her ministry continues to impact women through her podcast, books, and speaking engagements, leaving a legacy as a preacher who champions surrender to Christ.
