The sermon calls for radical discipleship, obedience, and sacrifice to care for the lost and dying world, and to live in the light of eternity.
This sermon emphasizes the importance of living a life dedicated to serving God and spreading the gospel, highlighting the sacrifices made by missionaries in challenging regions like Pakistan and India. It calls for a deep commitment to prayer, simplicity in life, willingness to serve God wherever He calls, and active support for missionaries through prayer and financial assistance. The message urges believers to prioritize eternal values over worldly pursuits and to be willing to make sacrifices for the sake of sharing the love of Christ with those who have not heard.

It's so good to come to San Diego. John Beers, my colleague, myself, we left Dallas, Texas. Some people believe God lives in Dallas.
And so many Southern Baptist churches there. It's terribly, terribly hot there. And we landed here like vacation land.
It's nice. And I've been to San Diego quite a few times in the past. One of the earliest memory, I came and spoke for Skyland Wesleyan Church, where John Maxwell used to pastor.
Then he skipped town. So he's gone somewhere else now in Atlanta. So blessed to be here.
Gospel for Asia, the mission I serve with. Our US headquarters is in Dallas, Texas. We have some 200 plus people on our staff serving the 11 nations or so today, including Pakistan, where we are training and sending our missionaries.
We've been doing that for 30 years. And these are nations, typically, people from our country here, America or Canada or Europe, cannot go and live there as missionaries. You can go for a short time and all that.
And so this is where the Lord called us to train nationals, people from their own country like Burmese and China and India and Bhutanese and Sri Lankans and Pakistanis. And it's a three-year-long training. We have 64 Bible colleges.
It's some 7,000 plus young people between the age of 18 and 25 go through the studies. Then we send them out with a one-way ticket. You are not coming back.
And go and preach the gospel. Lay down your life if that's what it takes to reach the lost world. And by the grace of God, we are able to see no less than 10 churches born every single day among people that do not have the gospel yet.
Praise the Lord. Thank you. And I just flew back from India, as a matter of fact, yesterday, believe it or not.
So for me, it is now past midnight. I'm going to sleep. But these are very, very crucial and critical time.
It's like the flight is going to take off. The train is going to leave. Let's not fool ourselves.
The end is near. And I would say this to you, if you have any sense or feeling, oh, you know, it's been like that for about 2,000 years. They said Jesus is coming.
He has not shown up yet. Things will go on forever. If you are one of those people who think like that and find some happiness, you may be fulfilling the prophecy.
They say, peace, peace. And then everything come to an end. And I would say this to you, again, repeating so many other preachers and teachers saying, lift up your eyes.
Your redemption draws nigh. We are going home soon. And let's not waste our life for the things of the world, materialism or whatever else that is.
It seems to be giving a temporary peace and happiness. It's not worth it. And for me, coming back here, flying 20 hours to get here, I'm glad to be here because Pastor Mike McIntosh is 10 times crazier than me.
I do not know how many of you are part of this church on a long-term basis. But I've been kind of following Mike McIntosh for more than 25 years. I've known him.
And I always said this, if all the pastors and all the churches are like him and his church, then we would have evangelized the world 10 times over long ago. It is. And I think, really, and I don't say this lightly, you do not know how blessed you are to be part of a crazy fellowship.
You are involved in local ministries here and people who are dying and helpless in the country, young people who are running away without any hope and reaching out to Europe and many nations. And it's unbelievable what one life has produced. And I thank God for Mike and his family and pray that you will not come to the place where you take all this for granted and now find your peace in the reputation that was built up, and you become cynical, and you will live and die with the shadows having lost reality.
It can happen. It happened in many churches. So it is important that as you go with the flow, as individual you are, make sure that the Lord touch your heart continually and bring a renewal and passion.
You are no more mimicking somebody else teaching, going here, there, this, and that, but your heart is burning for the Lord, knowing that that is what it counts. And between the services here now, I had to attend a telephone call. I usually live on the phone.
Call coming from Northeast India, Orissa State. I do not know if you know the story of missionary Stain from Australia and his two young boys were born to death a few years ago in Orissa State. This is one of the state in India where they have the law passed called anti-conversion law, which means if you end up getting converted or if you baptize someone, you end up going to prison for quite a few years.
And we have, well, 500 missionaries and significant number of churches there. And we had a huge persecution broke out in December. Dozens of our churches were destroyed and many people were killed.
And right now, something very horrible that took place. One of the Hindu fundamentalists got murdered by a red communist. But the radical Hindu sect put a spin on it, saying that, no, no, no, it was not a communist.
It was the Christians that killed their leader. So they just destroyed several churches within the last few hours. And a lot of Christians are under huge pressure.
And many have run away from their homes. And a couple of major churches being bombed and destroyed as we are talking. And this is nighttime.
And there's a huge amount of fear and scare going on for Christians in Orissa state. And email is going out to people worldwide for prayer. So can we just take a minute for prayer for Orissa state? Let's pray.
Our father, we come before you knowing that at this very minute, a part of our life, your body, our brothers and sisters in the state of Orissa, in northeast of India, they are beaten, abused, raped. Their house has been destroyed and churches demolished. Lord, we know this is what you said will happen when we go out to serve you.
But Lord, we pray that you will give courage and boldness to your people during this time of huge difficulty. Lord, we pray for pastors and leaders of your church that they will know what to do and give them wisdom as they lead your flock. And we pray, Lord, that through this incident, your promise will come to pass that you will build your church.
Nothing is going to stop it. So Lord, we pray for your grace and mercy upon the people in Orissa. Pray, God, that you will hold back the hand of the enemy.
That Lord, the gospel of peace through Jesus Christ, our Lord, will go forth and shine. And many tens of thousands will come to know you, knowing that Jesus Christ is the only answer. We thank you in Jesus' name.
Amen. Amen. All right.
Please turn your Bibles to the New Testament letter, 1 John, chapter 2. You understand my English? And this is true. When I first came to America in 1974, I was in Dallas, Texas, of all the places in the world. And I was in seminary.
For a couple of weeks, everybody asked me, what did he say? Can you repeat? Pardon me? And I was kind of getting frustrated until Richard Schaefer from Pennsylvania, a friend of mine in school, he said, OK, don't worry about it. You speak English, and they speak Texan. So that made me very happy.
1 John, chapter 2, verse 6. In my translation, he reads, whoever claims to live in him must walk as Jesus did. And in the Living Bible, it reads, anyone who says he is a Christian should live as Christ did. This is practical Christianity.
There is a misunderstanding often that people get into. Well, you know what? I was a horrible, bad, rotten sinner. And now Jesus saved me.
My sins are forgiven. And I'm going to heaven. I don't take drugs.
And I don't take LSD. And I don't get drunk. And I don't beat up my wife.
Or I don't beat up my husband. And I'm a wholesome, wonderful person. People think that's what Christianity is all about.
And for more other people, Christianity is learning all about the Bible, like Calvary Chapel. What an incredible place to learn Bible. You study and memorize.
And of course, you buy every Bible there is in the world to become spiritual. And information about everything in the world. But you know what? Deep down in your heart, after 5, 10, 15, 20 years, you only know the strife, the bitterness, the lust, the love for material things.
Nothing seems to satisfy the restlessness, the lack of honest, authentic Christ-likeness in our life. And my brothers and sisters, Christianity can become one of the most disruptive things in the world until you understand Christ came not only to deliver you from your sin and the mess that you lived with, but actually He came to set you free and deliver you from your own self-centeredness. I remember a meeting I was speaking at, a lady came to me after the meeting and said, Pastor, would you please pray for me? And I said, please, may I know what specifically you want me to pray for? She said, I got a demon of smoke inside me.
Would you cast it out? Well, I never had that kind of encounter. So I said, dear sister, I can cast out demons, but flesh I cannot cast out. This is something you have to deal with.
And my brothers and sisters, this is very, very significant to understand. Jesus came not only to set us free from sin, but also showing us the way how He want us to live. And there's no way you and I are going to understand this until we also understand without embracing the cross, suffering in the flesh, saying no to ourself, we will not understand His heart.
Now, here's interesting thing you can do, I recommend, which I did quite a few times. Take the New Testament, the four Gospels, Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, and read through the Gospels and mark with your pen to see the man Jesus. You got it? Not God.
I worship Him as God, He's my Lord. But I see Jesus walking in the flesh and see the kind of life we lived so that I can long for it and pray for it and embrace those kind of values. For example, you go to the Gospel of John chapter four.
You remember the story of Samaritan woman? And he was in Samaria, he had to go through there and all that, he studied there. And the disciples, I mean, he was hungry, obviously, he was thirsty. And the disciples went off to buy hamburger from In-N-Out.
Every chance I get, I come to California. Main motivation, In-N-Out burger shop. I mean, we've been pestering them to come to Dallas, they have not obeyed me yet.
But you know, here they go through the trouble buying food, they're coming back, and Jesus sitting there talking to a woman, a lady, which is, you are not supposed to do that culturally. And so there's, I can't believe he's doing that, he's talking to a lady. But he's the boss, so they kept their mouth shut.
And they simply said this statement, Jesus, please eat. And what did Jesus say? Oh, I have food to eat that you have no clue of. What? So they're saying, did someone bring him something to eat while we went to buy this food? I mean, it's a real bummer.
I learned that in America, the word bummer. And Jesus said, well, here's a problem. I am hungry, I am thirsty, physically I am weary.
But what happened, while you went off to buy food, this lady happened to be here. And I just talking to her, and I realized how lost she is without the Father's love. And her face became the window for me to see multitudes upon multitude, just like her, going into eternity to perish forever.
And that realization killed my very appetite. And he says, you want to share this value with me? Then he says, lift up your eyes and look at the field. They are white, ready for harvest.
Don't say four months, then I will do it. Now is the time. What is he talking about? He's not talking about rice and corn and maize and wheat.
He's talking about people. Did you know that there are some 2 billion people live in our generation that do not know Jesus died for them on the cross and how they can find forgiveness of sin? Do you know that some 80,000 people die every single day and plunge into hell from the 10 foot 40 window region, having not heard or understood the way of salvation? You say, well, KP, I hear all these numbers, all this stuff on television. I watch crazy people doing dumb things in Burma, the cyclone and the chaos and all this.
Listen, if that be your thought, you need to stop. The call is this, hopefully you are a follower of Christ. If that be the case, the call of the Lord is saying, come away, come apart, be mine, share my pain.
Can't you be up just for one hour? Weep on the behalf of the lost and dying multitude with me, share my pain. Now you say, well, KP, I want to do that, but I know spiritual. You know what is the problem? It is not the Lord is not calling us, it is rather our flesh stands in the way.
And that is where the problem is. You know, the reality of the lost world should hurt us, should make us sad. And the Lord can do that.
You don't have to force yourself into that. You know, I remember reading a letter that came to us from the mission field some time ago. This was from one of our native missionaries working in Haridwar by River Ganges.
Anybody heard the River Ganges name? This is where traditionally people in India, very religious, devout people, multiplied millions believe if they go into the river and wash themselves in the sacred river, their sins can be forgiven. To me, and I've been there a thousand times, the most polluted, dirty, rotten waters on planet Earth. You'll be surprised, and you will not be surprised if you stand by the bank of the river and see dead bodies floating on the river and bodies cremated and ashes are dumped into the river.
They believe it's a sacred river. They are sincere. They are religious people.
They are not mean devils. And I remember this brother writing a letter one evening when he was coming home from all-day outreach. This was a time some 35 million people went into the River Ganges that one week for washing of their sins away.
And he saw this young lady sitting by the bank of the river weeping uncontrollably, simply pounding upon her chest. And he went to her and asked her, What happened to you? Why are you crying so much? And she paused and told him the story which she writes in the letter. She said, My husband is ill.
He's very sick and he cannot work. We are very poor people. And my sins are so many that nobody knows about.
To find forgiveness for my sins, solution to the problems of my home, I have given the best offering I can give to God as Ganges. My only boy, my six-month-old baby boy, I just threw him into the river. Then he writes, I explained to her, saying that God is not mad at you.
He loves you. He didn't make you poor. He cares about you.
Your sins are forgiven. All you need to do is to believe in Jesus. Explain the Bible.
And finally, she wiped her tears, looked straight into my eyes, and simply said, But why didn't you come to me half hour sooner? It is too late, isn't it? It is too late. You know, my brothers and sisters, that is the picture of a lost, undead person who did not know Jesus. If you and I don't care about it, I ask you, who will care? And it is my obligation to be obedient against my own feelings and wishes to say, Lord, I want to be yours.
And ask you a simple question. Not to put you on a guilt trip or a condemnation trip or get some money out of you. That is not the reason I'm here.
But I want to ask you, when was the last time your heart broke over something you saw on television or media that you couldn't eat for a day or two, but fasted? Some of you parents think that if you homeschool, your kids are going to be angels forever. Some of you think that if you have more money and more materialism and better books and music, things are going to work out. I tell you what it's going to do.
Your kid, who is four-year-old little boy or girl, comes to you and say, Mom, what happened? Is daddy mad at us? Why, son, you say that? But mom, three days he has not eaten with us. He is not sitting at the breakfast table. He is not sitting at the dinner table.
He looks sad. He looks angry. Mom, some problem? And you say, son, no, there is no problem.
But mom, how come he looks like this? You really want to know? Yes, mom. Well, sit down. Mom will tell you.
You remember three or four days ago we were watching the television and we saw what was happening in Iraq and Sri Lanka. And you saw what happened. Bangladesh, 100,000 people died overnight and millions of people homeless wandering on the streets.
Yes, mom, I remember. See, son, that night daddy couldn't sleep. He was so broken-hearted.
And he decided he would fast for five days and be praying. And son, as a matter of fact, night, daddy is not on bed. And he is in the living room on his face, weeping.
No, son, daddy is not mad. He is hurting. And he is praying and fasting.
Fast forward. Twenty years will go by. That young man, that young woman will become a sober, shining, godly individual somewhere and say, I remember when I was a four-year-old kid what my father did.
You are a superficial, a foolish individual if you think. This typical shallow Christianity of this country. If you embrace and mimic some doctrines it's going to change the world.
No, it is going to take dying to self, to flesh, to touch the lost world. When the world is dying and going to hell, how can we waste our time knowing that time will no more be and very soon this is a radical call of Christ for disciples. And I had to hear it.
Thirty years ago, when I was living in Dallas, Texas, married to a German girl, going after the material things of the world, pastoring a local church, going to seminary. Soon I found myself with 70 expensive neckties all from Europe. I had to spend more than half hour to figure out how to put on the right clothes because I read a book called Color Me Beautiful.
I analyzed my skin and found out I was a winter. But then the Lord in His mercy one day said to me, Son, what on earth are you doing with your life? Hundred years from now, what does it matter? All the stuff and dreams you are living with. When half of the world have never seen one page of the Bible, you have seven of them sitting on the shelf.
Son, when will you have enough of these kind of things until you realize half of the world go to bed with empty stomach and naked bodies. And here you are. Don't you see what's happening with you? And I prayed a simple prayer 30 years ago.
Jesus, take eternity and stand on my eyes. The enemy of world evangelism that hinders us from seeing multitude turned upside down. Our families revolutionized.
It is not lack of knowledge, but rather too much of stuff of our own self. And I ask you to consider this. How? Take your driver's license and look at it.
You don't want to tell anybody else your age. You know what happened to me when I first came to America? In my culture, the older you are, the more respectful you become. So my first week in America, I saw this old woman in Dallas, Texas Sunday morning.
She looked, I mean old means she looked really froggy. Very old, but good looking. Neat, grand, great, great, great.
I was so excited and I thought she must be 200 years old. I went and I said, may I ask you a question? She said, yes. How old are you? This wonderful angelic beautiful face turned to me and said, that's none of your business.
I ran away for my life. That's when I learned in America, you don't ask anybody how old they are, especially women. But do you know how old you are? Hey listen, add 100 years to your present age.
Who are we kidding? That's the reason I'm telling you. Make your every hour, every day count and live in the light of eternity. And the enemy of world evangelism just like the disciples, Jesus had to say, lift up your eyes from your own little world of self-centeredness and your vacation, your boat and your house and your ambitions.
Just walk away for a while from this and see the harvest is now. When I was a youngster eight years of my life I spent in North India, Nepal and few other countries serving the Lord and one other place we went and tried to preach and didn't succeed much because every time we went there we got beaten up. And when you hear the name of this place Bundi, everybody gets scared because radical anti-Christian fanatics had their way there.
And that was the first place I was beaten up and abused severely along with others for preaching the gospel. But some years went by just as I told you earlier these Bible college students are trained and when they finish their training we send them out with a one-way ticket. And this is no joke because we know some of them are going to get in trouble.
And this young man was praying for the Lord to give him direction as to where to go. And obviously the Lord burdened his heart to go to this particular mission field which was tough. So the leaders told him, you know what, you're too young, you're skinny, and this may not be the right place for you.
He said, no, no, no, no, but the Lord told me to go there. He said, okay, you go. So they prayed and he went there and got a small room.
He rented it and had plenty of literature and tracts and booklets and all that. He started talking to people about the Lord and all those things but one of the early days, couple of weeks time while he was sleeping he found his door got busted open and six men standing around him and a tall Rajput with turban on his head pulled him up by his leg and said, young fellow, why did you come here? We have our gods and goddesses. We don't need your god.
Leave this place first thing in the morning or we'll have to kill you. And he said, I can tear you apart like we do with the chicken. But today we will not do that.
They dropped him. He got scared. I would too.
Next morning he got on the train and bus and went back to the mission station and reported to the leaders what happened. They said, well, you know, this is what he told you. What happened is a rough place to go.
And the senior pastor said, son, I want to ask you one question. Did Jesus ask you to go to Bodhi? He said, I know he did. He said, son, go back.
Yeah, they will come back and give you some trouble and some difficulties you will face. And there's a small chance you may get killed. But if that happens, son, wait in heaven for us and we'll come and see you later.
Heaven is a much better place than that mission field anyway. With those words, he knelt down and they laid hand on him and prayed for him. And he tells me with tears, he said goodbye and went back to the mission station.
Yeah, they did come back and threatened him and said, now you're going to make us murderers. Why or not? Have you come here? And they went on all these threats. And in the end, this young brother, very bold and very sober, simply said, you know what? You guys, the sooner you do your job, it's better for me.
I am here to die. I'm not going to leave this place. Jesus told me to come here.
Whatever you do, nothing is going to change it. He faced some persecution difficulties. A couple of years goes by.
I get a telephone call saying, hello. I said, yeah, it's me. He said, we want you to come to Boondi.
The moment I said, he said, I want to put my phone down. It's a terrible sound. He said, no, no, no.
We want you to inaugurate the church we just finished constructing. Amen. I got on the train and from Delhi, of course, I flew to Delhi and went there.
I can't describe to you the glow on the face of these first generation believers that fell in love with Jesus. And I taught the scriptures. And when it was over, this brother said, this is a man who said he'd tear me like a chicken.
And his friend, and so on. Here's the thing to think about. Here was a young man who was willing to say, I did not consider my life precious to me.
I'm dead. Blood was the price he paid to purchase me. I am not my own.
I will not live for sin, Satan, and the world, and materialism, and for him, all that I am. That is the commitment that changed the lives of hundreds and thousands of people. And I said to you, my brother, my sister, you can touch this generation and see people's lives transformed if you, as an individual, willing to step aside and say, it is not my wife, my husband, my children, my pastor, my friend, or anyone.
Lord, it's me want to follow you all the way to the end. And that is going to what it takes to see two billion people come to Christ. I wish I had time to tell you story after story of people that are paying the price.
You know, it's quite interesting when Jesus said, I send you as the Father sent me. The harvest is now. Go.
But Jesus couldn't do it without paying the price. I remember two brothers we sent out to the Muslim community. Hussain and Salsal.
Two Muslim converts who got trained to work among the Muslims. And Hussain was married and couple of little kids. God blessed their work among a group of people and couple of dozen people came to know the Lord Jesus Christ.
During the night they teach the Bible and daytime they both go out continually witnessing an evangelism. And one morning as they were going about, a group of men met them and addressed them by their first name. Oh, so you are Hussain? You are Salsal? They said, yes, we are.
So you came to tell us about your Jesus? Our brothers thought they were friends, but not so. The leader of the gang pulled out a dagger, a long knife and stabbed in the heart of Hussain. He fell in a pool of blood.
Salsal grabbing him, they stabbed him several times. Hussain died on the spot. And Salsal, it took months to recover.
Hearing about the news, Hussain's father-in-law, his wife's dad from a distant village, traveled. Who himself is a Muslim said these words to his daughter. My daughter, thank God that devil is dead.
Talking about her husband. Now you come home with me with my grandchildren. I will take care of you.
To this, this young girl responded, Now I am speaking to you, mothers, sisters, brothers, wives. This girl said, Father, you don't understand. Jesus that my husband loved, I love him.
The Jesus that he served, I serve him. I can't come home. I must raise my children to serve my Jesus.
This is where I am to live and die. These are my people. Those words convicted the man so much.
Within two weeks time, daughter led her father to the Lord Jesus Christ. And he was baptized. Amen.
The reason I am saying that to you, today when we think about some 15,000 brothers and sisters that are scattered throughout many nations, the recent mission field we opened up is in Pakistan with the Bible school and within a few months time, six churches started. This is a country where any day they can be caught, accused and hanged for their faith. But, they also know this, it's worth living for Jesus and it's worth dying for him.
And my prayer and hope is this, that somehow through our life on earth, as you live in San Diego, wherever you may be, that someday you look back on your life that you spent on earth, you will not have no regrets. Because, please listen to me, majority of the so-called Christians will continue to go after the things of the world and opinions and approval of other people. And a few must choose the narrow road.
And you are blessed to be in a place where you hear teachings and you know the scripture. But, make those choices. How do you translate this into some practical applications? A few things I would recommend that you consider.
One, think about taking prayer a little more seriously. It is said average Christians pray less than eight minutes a day. I know some of you wives grumble and murmur about your husband not talking to you, not calling you enough, not coming home early enough.
What do you think the Lord is thinking about us? I ask you to consider spending half hour a day in prayer and maybe another half hour. Take one day of the week for fasting and prayer. If you are physically ill, you cannot, don't worry about it.
But, most of you can take one day of the week for fasting and prayer. Ask the Lord to put a burden upon your heart for Afghanistan, Bhutan, Burma, China, or whatever local people here. God has thousand things He wants to talk to you about.
But, do not wait. Get a world map. Put in your house.
Here. Believe it or not. We have plenty of this world map on the table out there.
The 1040 window where, you know, where this two billion people that wait to hear the gospel. How do you pray for that? You can go to our website and you can get a mountain of prayer because you keep praying for next 10 years, non-stop. And you will have no trouble of things praying for.
Get the book, Operation World. Become a world Christian, not a worldly Christian. And it will be revolutionary once you start talking to the Lord.
It's absolutely fantastic. I've been praying along with many others of Bhutan for years. Just early this year, Bhutan opened up 600,000 Buddhists.
First Bible school we started in the capital city. People praying and God will use your life for that. Secondly, live simple.
Life is so simple. Don't make it complicated. Some of you have been watching Olympics? No? Well, don't worry.
Those people running and swimming and all those people, they're not carrying heavy loads on their head. They're stripped down to the bare necessity to win the race. Materialism is the worst enemy of godliness.
Please listen to me. You don't need more stuff to make you happy. Let the Lord dictate to you what you should do and what you should give and what you live for.
But I'm telling you, it's nobody else's business to tell you what you should drive and what kind of house. It's not my business either. But I'm telling you, the world is such a desperate need.
Take the blessings God gave you to touch the lost world because this is the only worthwhile thing to do with the stuff the Lord gave to you. Think about it. Third, if the Lord is calling you to serve Him with your life and get a one-way ticket, whatever, you know, wherever, give your life to serve Him.
We are looking for people to serve the Lord with us in Dallas and maybe go to the mission field and we have an internship for one year for young people who finish their high school for one year and your life will be completely revolutionized for a good cause. And think about doing that if the Lord has called you. And by the way, why don't you say, Lord, call me to serve you.
You'll be surprised. You'll say, I've been calling you forever. He won't listen.
And the fourth application, most of you will not go to China, India, Bhutan, Burma, Pakistan or Bangladesh, any of these places or Burma. But I'm telling you what, I cannot go and live in Burma or China. But by the grace of God, I can be the answer to the question in Romans chapter 10.
How will they go to preach unless they be send? I can become a sender of missionaries in Burma, in Bhutan, in China. By faith, I can be praying for them and helping them as much as I'm able to do and then send them out to the mission field to preach the gospel. And you say, well, that sounds interesting but how do I do that? Well, in a way of practical application, there's a card given to you in the bulletin.
If you can take this out. Look at that, that's on the screen too. So if you can take it out from your bulletin, it's simply... You see the guy with the Bible pointing his finger like that? I know him personally.
He used to be a Sikh, not sick. The guy with the turban on his head, that's a religion. And he came to know the Lord as a young person.
His parents booted him out of his house, threw him out. And he came to our Bible school for three years and today he planted five churches in Punjab. Can you imagine? Praise the Lord.
Applause Can you imagine? You are the person given the privilege by the Lord to pray and support this brother. And so it is with thousands of brothers and sisters that are many nations under training, many ready to go to the mission field. But what I'm asking you to do, if the Lord touches your heart, would you decide to help one or two or three or ten number of brothers? You say, how do I do that? Well, the card, you can look at it.
As little as $30 a month, you can help one of these missionaries to get to the mission field. And within couple of years or three years, they plant a church, you don't have to give them any more money because they become self-supporting. You can pick up some new missionaries.
But here's what I'd like you to do. If you will do that, if the Lord is telling you to do that, would you fill out a name and address and mark how many missionaries you'd like to support? On the back of the card, you can do it through credit card and whatever else. And bring the card to the table outside and we will give you your missionary or missionaries that you'll be praying and supporting as a family.
And my wife and I help four missionaries like that. And each one, you know, planting churches within a short time, year or two on the mission field. And I'm asking you to please consider to help a few of these brothers and sisters.
By the way, when you support a missionary, you are literally becoming the answer to those people who never heard the gospel. And 100% of the money you give, every penny you give, go to the mission field to support those missionaries. Nobody takes nothing out of that money.
And when it is all said and done, someday, when we see the Lord face to face, there'll be multitudes that no man can number from every language, from every nation. All because here on earth, we lived a life pleasing to Him, refusing to live for sin, refusing to live for self and the things of the world. And we prayed.
We walked with Him. We died daily. And we sought to share His suffering on the behalf of the lost world.
May the Lord speak to us. Amen.
