Following Christ - Part 2

What is the pure orthodox? Peter denied Jesus. He did terrible sins. Jesus didn't throw him away. After a few days, he became the greatest apostle. So this failure in life, this sin in life, for God, that's a means to change his life. People that hurt you, you are holding bitterness. You feel angry. Your teachers and nurses and parents, and your friends and relatives, whoever they may be, people in the church, when you understand God, past, present, future, there is nothing that is all in the present. So how do you respond to all this? God, you love me. And I love you. Love all people. That never you think, oh, he is that religion, this religion, that religion, I don't like them. No! They are all our brothers and sisters. It is through love, Jesus saved us. It is not by fighting. Not by arguing. Love people. Somebody who says, Jesus, Jesus, Jesus, he talks about. Don't worry about it. Buy him a Coca-Cola. Give him some food. Be his friend. Call and talk to him. Don't talk about religion. And he will begin to think, what is wrong with this man? And they will find out. He just loves him. And that is bigger than all the sins and problems. As a metropolitan of the church, my greatest dream is this, that our church will be known as a people that love all people. And that must start in your home. With your parents. With your younger brothers and sisters. With the neighbors. And this week here, I pray that you will be filled with the love of the Lord Jesus. That is the greatest gift I will have from you. That brings us to the exact time I should stop. Would you please stand with me for prayer? We are going to take just a minute of silence. Nobody is saying anything. Nobody is moving. We all have our eyes closed. And I want you to think. The Lord Jesus Christ is standing next to you. He knows every hair on your head. He knows your thoughts. He knows your problems. He knows all about you. And imagine now, he has his arms around you. And he says, I died for you. All your sins, I paid the price. Your future is secure in my hands. You don't need to know how. I am the way. Come with me. Next few seconds of silence. Quietly. You say these words. Dear Lord Jesus, Here is my life. I give it to you. Please Lord, touch my heart. Change my heart. No one can do it, Lord. You can do it. For time, eternity, I am yours. Thank you for loving me. If you said those words, I want to have a short prayer for you. Just quietly, as everybody close their eyes, just quietly raise your right hand. Just raise your right hand. This act of faith, where Jesus, Lord the Father, the Holy Spirit, see it. And the angels in heaven see it. The saints in heaven see it. The cloud of witnesses in heaven, the church went before us, see it. And the heaven rejoices. Father in heaven, we thank you for this day. Father in heaven, we thank you for this day. And we thank you for all these precious children. Thank you, they are part of the Believers Eastern Church. We are one family. Dear Lord, thank you that you answered their prayers. Dear Lord, thank you that you answered their prayers. Everything is going to be new. Bless each one. Give them peace. Give them faith. I speak your grace upon them. In the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. Amen.
