We Would See Jesus - Part 3

I'll go to schools that teach you how to smile. You know, folks, some people have learned the art of keeping a continual smile on their faces. You know, the hospitality industry, I think it teaches people to somehow put on a smile. One thing is clear, Indians don't know how to smile. They're afraid, my teeth will be seen. All they know is, loud guffaws. You know, loud guffaws. That's all they know. Now, my dear people, if we are walking with Jesus, whether you have an inscrutable Asian countenance, you know, inscrutable is unreadable. You can't say what's behind that face. That is the Asian face. That's called the inscrutable Asian face. Some of the people in the world are less artful. They display on their faces and their expressions exactly how they feel. My dear people, you may have an inscrutable face. Generally, anybody can read my face. When I am grieved, you can see. When I am rejoicing, yes, you can see a relaxed countenance. Now, the image of Jesus, the heart of Jesus, sure, we would see Jesus. Now, that should be our passion. Now, I don't know what you are seeing here. I heard of a person who actually said, I want to see the hall. Of course, there are many bigger halls in the world. But, that is a very poor objective. But, I don't know what you broadcast after the retreat. Whether you can say, I heard the voice of God. As I drew near the bush that was not consumed, God spoke to me. Or, whether you just say, I saw Beulah Garden. Or, whether you just say, I saw Beulah Garden. So, many Christians today settle for small, petty objectives. They have such a shallow agenda. But, if you notice the same person in a different environment, like academia, or from the computer, or sport, you will see a person who is concentrated on his job. I must get the best product. I must outdo any competition. Now, we see a lot of such dedication in many fields. But, I don't see John.
