All guilt, and saying, am I my brother's keeper? Yes, you are. Mark you, you must know that you are your brother's keeper. You know, friends, just think of this.
When we begin to love our neighbors as ourselves, what kind of society will we have? Grab and greed ruling our hearts? Would that happen? No. You know, we have got this kind of thing today, and people will just tell you, I can't trust anybody. I laugh at them.
I say, I trust so many, sometimes murderers sit right in front of me, highway robbers, and I have nothing to fear, and there's no lock or key over there in my room. I have no fear of whatever, because the Lord Jesus has touched their hearts, and they are new people. Thou shalt not kill.
Are you not your brother's keeper? Sure you are. You know, when mothers tell me, like a mother said to me, my son will steal the clothes, the dresses of my daughter. There's nothing in the house which is safe because of him.
Yes, we have drug runners today, and how is this drug culture flourishing and the drug trade? It's because the whole lot of us, preachers, churches, name it, are not producing even a handful of officials who will say, hey, you want me to be bribed with what, five billion or ten billion? You think I want a penny of that cursed money? Come on, let me take you where you belong, to the lockup. My dear friends, we don't seem to be able to produce righteousness, or righteous men. Why is this? We have moved away from the Savior of the world, and we are digging the graves of our own children.
How alarming. You know, 960 children in 05, who were sent home, suspended from primary school, children of four and five, in a small country like England. Now, what is this? Such dysfunctional families, are going to produce a harvest of murderers.
And teachers say, we have the right to walk out, or run out of the classroom. When we are threatened, abused, beaten, assaulted, we have the right to do it. You know, it was held, that a teacher should not leave her classroom, for any reason.
But, they claim it is self-defense, that motivates their rapid retreat. Now, my dear friends, have we not got a heart to absorb these things? Thou shalt not kill. Now, the Lord Jesus Christ said, out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, murders.
So, it is so intrinsic, in our hearts, to be able to swear and to curse, and say, be gone, I will shoot you, I will kill you. Now, instead of that, bless them that curse you, love them that hate you. We have failed in love, that's it.
I have failed in love. We have not been able to show, the men of every creed, race, and culture in the world, that the love of Jesus Christ, changes their hearts, and makes them those that lift others, that love others, that purify this polluted atmosphere, of our homes and our cities. Yes, shall we let the Savior in? You can do it now.
You can tell him now, Lord Jesus, I need you. I need this love. I am incapable, as it were, of loving those that appear to hate me.
I do want to love. I want this power, this new heart. Wash me, in that precious blood, which you shed for me.
Wash me, and give me this love. May God bless you, my beloved people. Please write, and if you have a problem, or concern you would like to share, please do let us know.
