Good morning, then, evening, what say you, Christ? Night's not been a meeting last night. I've got zero advance on having a meeting Monday night. I don't know why they give you a holiday on Monday, but I think you all need it, don't you? That's rather strange.
So, I'm going to continue the theme. What shall I do, then, with Jesus, which is called Christ? We talked about the three active realms of our personality. What think you, Christ, touches our mind? What say you, Christ, touches our feet? What shall I now do with Jesus, touches our action on our heart? Now, when that's still before you, the question is pounding.
Matthew, chapter 27. What shall I say to Jesus, which is called Christ? May I just say three things to you straight away, before we go farther in our meditation? First of all, then, claim him first. Claim him first.
Remember, it says in Colossians, chapter 1, verse number 18, that in all things he might have deeds pre-eminent. The word really is, that in all things he might be claimed first. Now, isn't that precious? I think that we all have received the Lord Jesus as a Lord, and as our Savior.
That is, we owe him as our Savior, believing that he died for us upon the cross who got us, that he shed his precious blood, and is sanctifying from every sin of sin. He has satisfied the claims of the Holy God. He has vindicated his throne, and God has proved that by praising his amen to that offering, erasing his son from out among the dead.
So, having now given Christ a place in our heart, behold I stand assertive and not. If anyone hear my voice and open the door, I will come in. And, we opened our heart door, the Lord Jesus came into our heart, and what does the bible say? What a wonderful change in my life has been wrought since Jesus came into my heart.
Now, it is not enough just to give him a place in my heart, not even a prominent place. Often, in a convention like this, wonderful congenial circumstances, we give a prominent place, or even the Lord may be given a prominent place. Oh beloved, he was deeply eminent place, and isn't he worthy of that? Yes, ten thousand times ten thousand.
He alone is the worthy one. So, may we be willing this morning to place him there. Now, he must come before the wife, he must come before the husband, he must come before the children, he must come before my home, he must come before my job, he must come before the almighty daughter, he must come before my garden, before my TV, before my radio, before my automobile, before my dog, before my meat cart.
He must be lost. Now, please don't go away and say, why? Jim Barnes came all the way from London to tell us, I've not to love my wife, I'm not to love my husband, nor my children, nor have a nice horse, nor have a TV, not at all. All I meant, and the list may be added to, are quite legitimate in your life, and in my life.
But, they must all be subservient to Christ. May I repeat, they must be all subservient to Christ. He must be great person in all things.
He must have deeply eminent. What shall I now do with Jesus, which is called Christ? Will you from your very heart say with all sincerity, O gracious Lord Jesus, how lovely thou art! Come and abiding, rule in my heart, break every fetter, thy faith let me see, they now shall ever be precious to me. Not only must we praise him, sir, but we must also publish his faith, publish his faith.
Now, once that he is Lord in your life, and in my life, and that very often comes as a crisis in the believer's life, where it's evil in your heart. But, there's a moment comes in your life, and in my life, when we allow the indwelling Holy Spirit to sanctify Christ Lord in every compartment and department of his life above. He's Lord over my time, talent, and treasure, Lord over spirit, and soul, and body.
He's Lord over all, blessed forevermore. Never let before your heart go out and publish his faith. He said to Demoniac, remember, dragon claimed from these demons, go on and tell the great things the Lord has done for thee.
Psalm 110, verse number two, let the redeemed of the Lord say so. My prayer is not to go on talking about philosophies, theories, and ideas about Christ. We've got to go out and minister Christ, my lips, and my life.
And, when he's Lord in your life, and in my life, then it will not be difficult. Your life, and my life will be an outshining of the indwelling Christ, and we shall publish his faith. It's sometimes saying that, grant to him, go and tell of Jesus.
What a wonderful thing we have, haven't we? What a wonderful Lord, the golden saints, the men and women, and to share him with others. I think this is precious, but time will allow me to develop that. First of all, place him first.
Publish his faith, and lastly, portraying his faith. Portraying his faith. Our brother this morning wrote in one great phrase, that as we behold the glory of the Lord, through the Holy Scripture, we might be transformed, changed, transfigured into his full image.
That your life, and my life, will indeed portray the lovely faith of the Lord Jesus Christ. And, it's my prayer, and I know it's your prayer. May his beauty rest upon me as I seek the lost winds, and may we forget the channel, see only him, not I, but Christ in every look, and in every action.
We must portray his, if we're going to do that day by day, this necessity is getting along with him. We must be in communion with him, and I think we have changed by beholding. Have you ever said in 2 Corinthians 3, verse number 18, verse 17 says, where the spirit is lost, there is liberty.
Now, if we continue beholding in the mirror the letter of God's word, so are we changed from glory to glory into the same image. And, Paul says in 2 Corinthians 4, verse number 11, the life-oils of Jesus might be made manifest, revealed through our love of flesh. Again, I repeat, it's not much what I say, it's what I am that's doing the task.
It's not eloquence or bliss, it's eloquence of the love life lived in the power of the Holy Ghost that's going to bring more fruit for God's glory. How often you've listened to a tradition, and they're just as clear as crystal, and just as cool as ice. How often you've listened to a tradition, futilely constructed, hurt workers in the delivery, and it lets you unmoved.
You know why? There has not been that anointing of the Holy Ghost. And, my friend, I would rather see a sermon with a sermon-priest any day, from the greatest sermons, my friend, I ever witnessed, led by my little mother, way back beyond in Scotland, the nation in glory. And, I'm here because that mother prayed, and I thank God for a praying mother who lives what she prayed.
And, I repeat with all my heart, it's not my friend the eloquence of bliss we need today, it's eloquence of love life lived in the power of the Holy Spirit. And, I put that rumor to you because they're precious to me, and I want to become precious to you. I'm not talking down to you, and as all is poured from bed to the bed, I shall gratefully pour from my heart to your heart this morning, in the energy of the spirit and soul.
We flake in thirst, we publish faith, and we portray his faith. Travelling along from Toronto, Ontario to British Columbia, that beautiful train called the Canadian. There was an evangelist and his wife.
He had been invited up for a ministry on the west coast, and then did a very wise thing. He arranged for them to have a faith room on that beautiful train. The wife was upstairs in the observation car, looking at the wonderful scenery going through the Rocky Mountains.
The evangelist in his bedroom, studying, praying, writing, preparing his heart for the ministry on the west coast. He got up from his knees, and left his book, and went out just at the bedroom door, just in the corridor, to watch all the lovely scenery, and get a little break away from his study. He became aware of somebody standing beside him.
He looked down, and he saw a little girl, a little evangelist, a very ponderful girl. He said to her, hello, how old are you? She said, I'm seven. He said, sir, sir, are you Jesus? The evangelist said, no darling, I'm not Jesus, but I'm a Jesus man.
Oh, said sir, I've been watching you, and you're different to the other men on this train. I thought you must be Jesus. Oh, the impression made upon those seven-year-old minds portraying the beauty.
A terrible illustration. End of night, gone into a restaurant outside Pilsenburg. There is preaching in Simcoe that particular night, and, as a matter of fact, there's a wedding there on Saturday, God willing.
But, as we stopped there for supper, I looked at my watch, and I said, look, we must go. We've still got about 25 miles to go. We're going to be late for the meeting, which is terribly slow, and we've had a very nice meal, and I said, I'll just tell the cashier what we've had, and then go on.
We got to the desk. He said, I said, sir, the girl hasn't come with a check, sir. I said, that's quite all right.
Your meal's been paid for. What do you mean? I said, yes, your meal's been paid for. Now, I said, sir, I haven't paid the meal.
He said, no, but it's an unwritten law here. Those whom you recognize as Christians have a free meal. I said, sir, you intrigue me.
How did you recognize that? He said, by your white demeanor, by your deportment, by your mannerism, and by your hair, and your bold body, he said. The sad thing about that story is that I've never felt free to go back to that fashion, even though I'm a Scot. There's the whole thing.
I want to get this deep down your heart this morning, my friend. We must portray the love of Jesus Christ, and may I say that all the love of my heart is not eloquent of lips, it's eloquent of the love life lived in the energy of the Holy Spirit. Now, with all that before you, I think of a verse now, Acts, chapter 2, verse number 36, and Peter, on that wonderful day, said to God, brief but memorable sermon, and he said, let all the house here feel know assuredly that God made the same Jesus, which he hath taken, and with wicked hands crucified, and slain, both Lord and Christ.
Verse 36 of chapter 10 now says, and again, Peter is fired by this verse, says, he is Lord of all. His Lordship is plainly declared. Man's estimation across the world, a crown of thorns of each world sector, and they clothe him in mockery, and they send him north.
God's estimation, he is still in the highest place at heaven above. He brings a crown of pure gold upon his kingly ground. If in the royal sector are the authority to wield that sector, and might train the world to splendor and loyalty of God our adorable Lord Jesus, and all heaven bows toward him this morning, and they worship on their God, and we cry, look, ye saints, the sight is glorious.
See the man of sorrow now, from the place he turned victorious every day, till the angel of awe crowned him, crowned become the mighty, and he turns wrong. His Lordship is plainly declared. Now, open your Bible to Philippians chapter 2. Philippians chapter 2, his Lordship is only plainly declared as in these two scriptures on the end, that here in Philippians chapter 2, we find his Lordship is richly deserved.
We're going to read for everything from verse number five. Keep these four, you leaders, he is Lord of all. Philippians 2 verse 5, let this mind be endued which is owed to in Christ Jesus, who being in the form of God, the very substance, the very essence of God, thou didst not robbery, be unequality with God, thou didst not some day grasp after, reach out after, being unequality with God, as the first Adam did.
There was never a time when he was not God. The nearest time will not be God. He is co-eternal, and co-equal with the Father in perfection and in power.
John 1 verse 1, in the beginning was the word in determining, and the word was with God, his personality, and the word was God, his creating. And this morning we cry, thou art the everlasting word, the Father whom we song, God manifest is the inherent, and heaven's beloved one, worthy of the Lamb of God, of thou that every knee to thee should bow. Verse number seven, please.
But made himself of no reputation, he never made himself of no character, and that's quite a difference. Zolan the one who got a choice in the first place, and he chose the table. Zolan got a choice of mother, and he chose Mary.
He made himself of no reputation, and he said, crucify between two malefactors, and now do this to me more here, will you? And took apart in the form of a servant. Please look at verse six. Who, seeing the form of God, now verse seven, took upon him the form of a servant, all that consists in grace about adorable Lord Jesus, this one was God, a very God, to take upon in the form of a bond-servant, a bond-slave.
It doesn't mean you'll care. It's the Lord's service, mate. I'm among you as one of service.
I came not to be minister, I'll be a doctor, a minister, and to give my life a ransom at all. He that is chief among you, let him be your servant. I know how he exemplifies that, while here on earth.
Let me go. And was made in the likeness of maids. Speaking reverently, the Lord Jesus would never need anything.
By his own sovereign free will, and by his own set in action, he became flesh. He became in the likeness of man. Now, verse number eight.
Man being found in fashion as man, not as a man, but as man. Only two men, the first Adam and the last Adam. One, the federal head of the whole of the physical race, the other the federal head of the whole of the spiritual race, as in Adam all die, showing Christ to all they made alive.
In the first Adam, under the curse, the last Adam in the blessing, in death, in life, in darkness, in life, in bondage, in liberty, in hate, in love, in condemnation, in justification, in separation, in acceptance. Now, may I ask you, loving lady, where are you? Oh, by nature, I am the first Adam, unless you came from a monkey, and I'm sure you didn't. Departed to looking for that.
Oh yes, we are the descendants, my friend, of Adam. As in Adam all die, but now by the miracle of the new birth, we are now in Christ the last Adam, alive under God, no more under the curse. He bore the curse, we might have the blessing.
He came to death, we might have life. My friend, in the darkness, that we might know life. In your bondage, that we might know liberty.
In your hate, we might know love. In your condemnation, we might know justification. In your sanctification, we might know acceptance.
Aren't you glad you know it? Amen? Aren't you glad you're in Christ? Oh, accept it in him, the beloved. Something more. It says, now, I mean, follow this passion as man.
I like this. Remember, it says in Hebrew, chapter 2, verse number 14, for as much as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, you could not help him born a very beautiful person you are, I could help him born just as I am, taken by the natural course of events. But, they parted, but he himself likewise took part of different works altogether.
We are partakers by the natural course of events, but Christ, by his own son's will, took part of flesh and blood. Then, through death, he might destroy him, but the power of death, and deliver him to the feet of death, for the lifetime that is upon thee. Yes, he'll have his father, one will see him.
Time will allow for the father, shall we? Says here, now, and he came for being up unto death. Now, notice that. He did not become beaten to death as an enemy.
Oh, no! He was all teased into the will of the father which made death, and he knew his boy's death ever clay. He came, my friend, to be up unto death, up unto death, even the cruel, loathsome, despicable death that death hath caused. What for? That weasel is stained by his blood.
The weasel is shedding his blood, my fellow clergy, a complete forgiveness, and brought back to God in the merits of that shed blood. Oh, this is all right. No, I am sorry.
This was, my friends, Jesus' seventh step in downward into humiliation. His condescending grace, our brethren pray this morning, ye know the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ. Though he was rich, yet for our sake he became poor, that we through his poverty might be made rich.
We'll be able tonight to pass on the debt of poverty in which he did go. Then, this morning, we'll be able to measure the immense riches along to him, and we're sharing them with him this morning, because we're co-heirs, co-heirs together with him. But, now, please notice, one of Paul's fifty-five verse, which says, Wherefore God, I want you to notice, our friends, we're running right through scripture, if we humble ourselves we shall be exalted, but if we exalt ourselves we shall be humbled.
Now, hear the Lord of life and glory. He says, He humbled himself, wherefore God has highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name. He's a Christian.
The word highly only comes twice in Christ's appearance, once regarding his birth, and now regarding his glorious exaltation. The word is a super exaltation. None, my friends, has surpassed this.
Oh, my friends, this morning, the one who became poor is now rich, but humbled himself as I do. Part of all, he said the other evening, he went soaring gliding through the great angelic host that rain-borne circle froze, and, my friends, there we see him this morning, crowned with glory and with honor. But, just see what the scripture said, because more than I can say to you, wherefore God has highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name, and notice it now, that in the name, not merely at the name, but in the name of Jesus, every knee should bow, of things in heaven, things celestial, things of earth, things terrestrial, and things on the earth, things infernal.
In heaven, earth, hell, there's leaven, and every tongue should convey that Jesus Christ is Lord, the glory of God the Father, beloved. All in heaven bow toward him in crying, Lord God perishing, take the scepter and the will of God, all those things of the earth cry this morning, Lord God worthy, take the scepter and the will of God, once they all come near this, for around shall be a temple of great excitement, great quite cold. They shall see the man of the Father, still bearing the spark of Calvary's passion, in his head he is in sight.
They shall see him, the knee shall bow to him, and the tongue will confess that he is Lord, the glory of God the Father, but their acknowledgement of this will seal the truth for all eternity. They shall acknowledge my strength, I quote to thee, that God is righteous and just in the condemnation. Keep that before you, and turn to Colossians 1, and we'll just read it there.
Verse number 20. If you've got time, when you get down to your own room, read from verse 12. Read verse number, the last page of verse 9, 18 says that in all things he might have, he must, he will, he shall have, he shall be eminent.
That these are power in him shall fullness dwell, knowest this, and having this he should have thought of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself. By him I say, will there be things on earth, or things in heaven? Beloved, beloved, there's something missing. In Philippians chapter 2, things on earth, things in heaven, things on earth, things under the earth.
No under the earth here. Regarding my friend his sovereignty, acknowledging he is Lord, the glory of God, all things celestial, torrential, or infernal, will declare his worthiness. But when it comes to reconciliation, there's no reconciliation with him, and I know the teaching abroad today, because rescued of all things, even the devil himself will be saved.
Fathers, there's no reconciliation with him. Do you get that? All in heaven, all on earth, we're willing to bow the knee now, acknowledging Lord reconciled God from the death of his son. May I ask you lovingly, before I go to another point, are you willing this morning in your spirit, as a Christian, to bow your will and say, Lord God worthy, Lord supreme, in every compartment and department of my life? Am I? Lord you bought me to possess me, and I foolish Lord come in.
Am I foolish? Romans chapter 14, Romans 14 verse number 9. His Lordship is plainly declared, richly deserved, and now here, Romans 9 verse 14, reads like this. Sorry, verse 14, chapter 14 verse 9. Chapter 14 verse 9, even the best men will make mistakes. Verse number 9. For to the same Christ was died, and rose, and refined, he might be, what does it say? Lost.
Lost. Now, his Lordship is longingly desired, richly deserved, plainly declared, and now, longingly desired. He desired, by praying to the Lord, he died, he rose, he refined, he might be lost.
Is he worthy? Oh yes, you see, I know he is. Am I this morning going to rob him of the fruit of his passion? My good omen is my savior, and not a servant. Is it going to be as he finds a legion in my heart? Democracy has gone to the wall.
Dictatorship has taken its place. We've found every realm of life, every army of heroes, every navy has had growth, every team has its captain, every firm has its director, every home has its head. A man's soul, with all his fasting problems, has as he finds a legion.
Self-crushed, we wonder whether there's no real rest, nor peace, nor joy, nor truth. Appetite for the word, desire for prayer, is because there is a departed legion this morning. Will your heart and my heart pray right now? The dearest idol I've known, for there that I will be, help me, dear Lord, to tear it from my throne, and worship only thee.
Isn't he worthy? Isn't my good friend, obviously, along the line this morning? Is that not a prayer of that dear brother's heart? That Christ, that dear Lord, has brought me here to take over in your life and my life, and receive my name, and reveal the life of Jesus Christ. Oh, it's so nice to listen to ministry, have our ears tickled. Nice messages, beautiful lady, my friend, but listen, we've got to do something about this.
What are you going to do? Are you going to allow the Spirit to enthrone him, Lord, in your life this morning? He may reign without a rival. What shall I now do, Jesus, as a Christian? When the boys and I were in Rome, a little while ago, we saw a man named Garibaldi, black-eyed, all over the place. I was reminded, this is in history, that little little man was just about to be thrown under by the enemy, Garibaldi.
He saw a man standing at the street corner, standing at the market square. He went up and said, told him about the common enemy. He said, are you willing to join me? I have promised you tears, I have promised you sweat, I have promised you blood, I have promised you privation, maybe starvation, maybe death, hardship, and are you willing to rally with me? And he was against the common enemy.
The one man that rallied him went up. Lord of victory, Garibaldi was brought up. Lordy, praise as the great liberator of the great emancipator, he is the wonderful savior.
No praise too long or too long for Garibaldi. Some said to him, why don't they put upon the throne the reign of sovereign? Isn't he worthy to reign sovereign? They were divided about that. They were willing to earn him as savior, but not as sovereign.
He wrote a wonderful deliverance, but not as sovereign. What did they give him? The Isle of Capri. Not for a honeymoon, by the way.
They banished him to the Isle of Capri. Now, in all this, they were willing to earn him as savior, but not as sovereign. Are you listening carefully? If he's not lord of all, he's not lord at all.
You will not have to receive Christ as savior, you'll receive him as lord. If thou shalt have faith, thou must receive him as lord. Believe on the law, Jesus Christ.
We are living in the occult event. We believe in the truth, and surrender to the law through Jesus Christ. Hundreds, my friends, depend upon Romans John 10, 28.
We're on the way to hell. Then what Christ as savior said in the penalty of sin, what he said in the presence of him, we know nothing forever about the power of him he delivered from that thief, Andes. The Christ that died in him from sin's penalty, now lives in his deliverance from sin's power.
One day, he's coming to a different sin's presence. Oh, the watchers! That's why we've got a very low moral standard among us today. That's why there's a low moral and a low spiritual standard among us today, because we've got an objective teaching that does not apply subjectively to our lives.
Be of help in coming to God's presence. He said, because I am, let him not know whom may I be. Because I am holy and classical, let me live a holy life.
Because I am righteous, let me live a righteous life. Let us be what we are. Let us be true to the Lord.
The British general sent his army on for a victory to victory in India. They came against a great temple there. When he went inside the temple door, many of those here denied the people's truth.
They were saying, destroy us, destroy us, but please, please don't touch our garland, don't touch our garland. The British general looked in through the temple door, with the power of a great white statue. He pressed through the group, came through the door.
The men of war were following him. He was able to say, I would rather be known as the destroyer of idols than the bearer of idols. He went on to his axe, and he hit that statue.
It was a receptacle, it was hollow. The waitress gave him all the jade, the jewels, the precious pearls, the money, trying to see that God had ceased his life. When that man hit that statue, he broke and shivered all around him, and all the thumbs of wealth dropped to the street.
Had he spared the idols, he would have missed the wealth. There is a man who often stands between me and my glory. His name is Self.
My carnal self stands between me and my glory. Oh, mortified, mortified, put him down, my saviour, for it is all but self alone. Is it the God of Robin Hood, spiritual nourishment, spiritual power? Oh, look away, cry.
Oh, precious Lord Jesus, how lovely thou art. Come and abide me, rule in my heart. Lord, thou art enough.
My mind and heart are filled with faith. My eyes know only more than thee that with thy beauty occupied, I am aware. None may say it.
Lordship is plainly declared. Racially deserved, wrongly desired. He died, he rose, he revived.
Are these all the robins of the fruit of his passion? Mr. Hamill wants to have her together briefly. I was having meetings in Kingston. We were out swimming one morning.
It came to me every morning, we were out swimming together on a private swimming pool, and I never get it. I said, Jim, we never lose our advantage forever, do we? No matter how old we get, no matter how we develop as Bible teachers, all of that depends on the cross. So what you're getting at is, I know that you're like myself, you always preach for a decision, don't you? I said, yes.
And beloved, oh beloved, I am preaching for a decision right here this morning. I wanted to do something as a Christian. I am preaching the gospel as a Christian.
Are you willing to let go this morning? Now listen, that very thing you're thinking of now, is that very thing that's coming between you and the Lord. That very thing, that very person, right now, I believe with all your heart you're going to pray, with all sincerity, reign over me Lord Jesus. Reign over all of me.
Make me a love subject to thee in everything. My last day, because I see myself, oh my God, Luke 19. Luke 19, I'll just give it to you.
In fact, there are two verses here, and I'm going to close. Luke 19, and verse number 14. Here's where I got mixed up with the Romans 9, and then verse 14 a moment ago.
19, 14 here. But his citizens heeded him, and sent a message after him saying, we will not have this man reign over us. His lordship is heartlessly disputed.
Now it's possible for you this morning, as a Christian, to be heartlessly disputing his right to reign as Lord in your life. Is that true? Is that true? Look at verse 27. A little man's enemy can't be a friend to the Lord and a friend to the world too.
He becomes your enemy. A little man's enemy, which would not like to reign over them, bring it up and slay before him. I believe with all my heart, every believer will be in the Father's house, will be there by wondrous grace.
I don't believe for one moment every Christian's going to reign with Christ. We're there by God's grace, and by God's grace alone. And you can't live for the world, only for itself, and think you're going to share with him in that coming day.
David, all those who profess to be following David, with only 400 men of his progeny, identify themselves with him in their rejection, his anger. When David came to the Lord, who reigned with David, those were willing to identify themselves with him in his rejection. Are you and that Christ your little Lord in your life? Seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these other things shall be added unto you.
I wish I were just starting now to finish it, but here's an illustration. It happened to me yonder in Detroit, during the coronation of our beautiful young queen. You don't mind me saying that, do you? I asked my husband if I may have one of his radios in my bedroom.
He said, yes. He booked for the Sunday, but he took a picture of me one day, and I said, all I want is a radio. Six o'clock, I switched the radio on, and I heard Oxford's own cultured, born artist, Chandler A, repeating John 3, 16.
For God so loved the world. It was beautiful. As I sat there in that bedroom, my mind was transported back to London, England.
I saw the royal coach coming up from Buckingham Palace, going along in the mall. I saw in my mind all the stars above, stars above, stars above, people there lining the mall. I saw all the fancy of the glitter, the glamour, the glory, and all the pageantry, and all the wonderful colour, and all the wonderful precision of that wonderful station.
I had all the shouting, all the yelling. And I saw the coach going round by Trafalgar Square, passing James right on to that great historical building, Westminster Abbey. I saw the royal legal figure, leading that coach, going through the doors of that great historical building.
That was the capacity of the celebrities and dignitaries from all over the world. As that young slim girl walked down that long, wide aisle, heavy eyes were focused upon her. And then it came, I'll never forget, and again I heard the Archbishop saying to his dressed peers, Gentlemen, I present to you Her Royal Highness Elizabeth.
Are you now ready to see her homage? And with one heart, and with one voice, they cried, We are now ready! Crown the Queen! I was transformed. When all the regimes of all age were gathered round the land beyond the glory, every eye focused upon him, still bearing the mark of Calvary's passion. And with one heart, and with one voice, we shall cry, Bring forth the Royal Diocese, and crown him! Lord of all, worthy of the name of God of God.
Every knee to each of us. Beloved, the Lord is here, and the spirit is saying to you in the heart of my heart this morning, Are you now ready to crown him, Lord of all? Will you answer as we pray? In that moment of silence, just have a quiet word with the Lord for yourself, and then we're going to sing very thoughtfully. Have thine own way, Lord, have thine own way.
Hold all my being, and set it sway. Fill with thy spirit, till all shall see. Crying to me always, living in me.
Just quietly once more as a closing prayer. I know it's coming from your heart. Have thine own way, Lord, have thine own way.
Hold all my being, and set it sway. Fill with thy spirit, till all shall see. Crying to me always, living in me.
Through Jesus Christ, our Lord, to whom we glory, both now and forevermore. Amen. The meeting is finished.
I don't think it is. I think it's going to go on this morning, don't you? I believe you're going to get away into your own cabin, in your own room, and do business with God. I believe transcendence will take place this morning of eternal value.
Be God's praise and glory. If tonight, today, you've entered into the joy of this, probably years ago, you know what I'm talking about, some of you do, but some right here this morning, whom I know, were over 70 years of the day before they entered in. And all these years they spent in the wilderness, wandering around, but oh the glory, the joy and the glory that there is today, because they entered in, and Christ became Lord in their lives.
God bless you.
