Another John, John Wesley, emphasized sanctification as a crisis of commitment. Any scripture for that? Oh yes, Romans 12 and 1. Present your body a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is a reasonable service. That's commitment.
I remember speaking in the Queensland Bible Institute in Brisbane, and I said, anyone care to define sanctification for me? A girl in the class stood up and said, sanctification is moment by moment, hour by hour, day by day, growth in grace.
