He Will Supply All Your Needs

"And he said, Certainly I will be with thee; and this shall be a token unto thee, that I have sent thee: When thou hast brought forth the people out of Egypt, ye shall serve God upon this mountain." (Exodus 3:12).

"Whom shall he teach knowledge? and whom shall he make to understand doctrine? them that are weaned from the milk, and drawn from the breasts. For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little:" (Isaiah 28:9-10).

In Isaiah's day there were those that mocked him, saying he spoke like a drunken man, even as some mocked on Pentecost day. Some were convicted and some mocked. But the mockers of God's Word will have their part in eternal damnation from God's presence without grace.

Isaiah spoke of God as "El-Shaddai", the Self-sufficient One. He will supply everything that you need, if you would trust Him.

A certain young man said that it was nonsense to seek God's will in marriage. So he decided to choose himself the prettiest peach and he went to the minister and said that God has lead him to get married to a certain pretty girl. They got married, but after three months the girl became terribly ill from a "tumor". The girl didn't want to go to the doctor, but on recommendation from the preacher they took her to the doctor. The doctor examined her and simply found that she was pregnant for many months already from another man, not her husband. When the young man was told, who mocked saying that there's no such thing as seeking God's will in marriage, he as a black man became pale and white. Soon afterwards they divorced and he went and married someone else.

God is not mocked. You can play around with people and deceive them, but never play around with God or His Word.

God has promised to be with you always. He has all the supplies.

This promise that He will be with you surpasses anything else. He doesn't promises that you will have money, or a good job, etc. - but He promises that He will be with you.

Moses chose rather to suffer affliction with the people of God, than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season. He humbled himself and God lifted him up.

Many times we people want to exalt ourselves, but that is not God's way.

"By faith Moses, when he was come to years, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh's daughter; Choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God, than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season; Esteeming the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures in Egypt: for he had respect unto the recompence of the reward." (Hebrews 11:24-26).

Never could Moses have imagined what God would do with him when he made the decision to suffer affliction with the people of God.

He could never have imagined that he would stand before the red sea and part it, strike a rock and water would gush out or even that he would one day be honoured at the mount of transfiguration to talk with Jesus with those present.

Had he known all of these things, we might say that he made the choice because he knew; but he didn't know that when he chose to suffer with the people of God, that he would receive such a great reward.

God lifted up Moses as he humbled himself.

Look at the end of those who exalt themselves, how they end up in shame and destruction.

So rather than choosing your path yourself, look at the reward and above all else seek God's face and His presence in everything you do.

Jesus also answered the devil's temptations with the same steadfastness.

"But he answered and said, It is written, 'man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God'. " (Matthew 4:4).

"Jesus said unto him, It is written again, 'thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God'. " (Matthew 4:7).

"Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, satan: for it is written, 'thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve'. " (Matthew 4:10).

Many start well but after awhile they start to seek things outside of the will of God and their life becomes fruitless.

May you have "El-Shaddai" with you always as your full supply, your Rock of rocks. He will supply all your needs even if others mock. You will never lack God's supply as you abide in God.

"Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me." (John 15:4).

Don't glibly say that God is with you when He is no longer with you, like Samson with his head on the lap of Delilah, while God had forsaken him, although he thought God was still with him.

"Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you," (2 Corinthians 6:17).

How can you claim that God is with you if you surf the internet and look at pornography and therefore defile yourself?

Be separate from the world, be washed from your uncleanness and live a holy life, abiding in Him. He will supply all your needs.
