Hi grandkids, welcome again. Welcome friends who join, and I have shared in the past how God saved me, and when we do the Word of God, there comes a time when we must go public with our witness. Our witness, of course, should also be proven in our lives that we're truthful before God, that we walk in accordance with the Bible, and that we're not hypocrites. But there's also a time when we must open up our mouth, because it says in the book of Revelation, in Revelation chapter 12, 11, and they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, which is the Lord Jesus Christ, and by the testimony of their mouth. It's not just their lives, but also by their mouth, and they loved not their lives unto death. And then also in Acts chapter 1, verse 8, it says that, but you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you shall be witnesses to me in Jerusalem, which is your home city, and in all Judea, which is your home state or your home province, and Samaria, which is your neighboring province or state, and to the end of the earth. And so I was facing my first major witness, and beloved, it happened, I was in a flight on my way to Florida, and it was another business meeting, and we were flying on a Saturday, and it was clear that we would be working on Sundays. And I was wrestling in my airplane seat, God had said for me to have a day's rest. Now, many of you have to work on a Sunday, but you also need a day of rest, perhaps another day. But in this case, I did not really need to work on Sundays, unless, of course, the leadership wanted me to work. And there was an executive vice president, I was a vice president, and the chairman would be there at this meeting. And I said, Lord, what am I going to do? I want to keep your day as a day of rest and worship you. And the answer seemed to come in a little small voice. Well, why not talk to him in the airplane right now, and ask him if he would mind if he would go to church. And so I did that. I went over and the chairman said, of course, you can go to church, no problem. And so when we arrived in Florida, we arrived late, we had dinner, then went to sleep, and it was Sunday morning. And as we got up in the morning and had breakfast together, the chairman said, now look at this table. And the table was full of files from all of the foreign businesses that I was running. And the vice chairman was there, the chairman, myself. And he said, we will meet after breakfast, let's have a shower, and then get ready for the meeting. And so I went into my room in that villa, and there was a little carpet there. And I fell to the carpet to pray before God. And I said, Lord, I asked you yesterday, what to do in the plane. And you answered me. And I asked him. And he said, it was okay for me to go to church this morning. But now he wants to have this business meeting. And if one says no in a business meeting, to the upper echelon within a company, then the chairman will consider that you no longer have 100% allegiance to him and the corporation. And severance is just around the corner. Being fired is a real possibility. And so I was wrestling with God. I said, Lord, you must answer me. I was praying on that little carpet, for I knew the risks. And I was sweating through my shirt. I had to take the shower, I put on a new shirt. And then I walked out and I walked into that room where all of the files were set up. The chairman was waiting for me, the vice chairman was waiting for me. And I said to the chairman, chairman, you know, I've become a Christian. And I need to go and worship God this morning. And I'm sorry, but we can catch up tomorrow. We can have that business meeting tomorrow. But today, I have to go and worship God. The vice chairman immediately piped up and he said, now if you leave this meeting, you are fired. Don't come back. You're fired. The chairman didn't say anything. Then I repeated to him and I said, now, chairman, I did ask you yesterday. And you were in agreement, I could go and I really have to worship my Lord. I left that meeting. And as I came to the door, the vice chairman shouted out and raised his hand. And he said, if you touch this doorknob, you're fired. And I looked at my hand and I said, Satan, I used to be in your hand. It was you who had me under control. No more. Now I am under the control of the Lord Jesus Christ and his father. And in scripture says that he's able to keep us from falling and to present us wholly in the presence of his father. And so I said, I'm going to trust God. And I turned that doorknob and I walked out. My beloved, I also realized I could be fired and I had family, I had missionaries to support, I had other obligations, but I wanted to, I wanted to uplift the name of a true God. You cannot see him right now, but God is real. And God proved to me he's real. And even in that setting, he is the one who supplied the power and the help to do what I could not do on my own. So believe in God, follow the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will experience miracles. Thank you for watching and the Lord bless you.
