My Bible says in Psalm 917, The wicked shall be turned into hell, And all the nations that forget God. America has not only forgotten God, It has forsaken God. When I was a little boy in the 1950s, The nation of America still had a moral code, And there was still such a thing as shame in society.

Television programming was monitored by the government with indecency laws, And parents did not have to worry what their kids saw on TV, Because there was no nudity or perversion or sex acts shown on TV back then. Public nudity was against the law, And each state had decency laws. In the 1950s, in America, there was still a fear of God in the land, Because the churches still had a voice of authority in the land.

This nation had just come through world war as a victor, And people were still grateful to God for deliverance and liberty. There was still a reverence of God in the land. Instead of school shootings, there was prayer in public school back then, As children across this land began each day by giving thanks to God, And asking God to bless our country.

There was a dress code in society back then. Men wore suits and hats, And women wore hats and white gloves, And their dresses covered them in modesty. In America in the 1950s, marriage was between a man and a woman, And there was no such thing as a pride parade, Because they all would have been arrested and put in jail, Because state sodomy laws were enforced back then.

There was still a restraint on perversion in society, Before the lid came off and perversion spilled across our land. The America of the 1950s and the America today are two different Americas. Modern America, like a big king snake, devoured the other America, Because it no longer exists.

Our young people today are stoned on drugs, Intoxicated with booze, and contagious with STDs. It's a godless generation in a God-hating society, That is full of the world, but empty on the inside. The government of America has legalized sin, And legislated God and the Bible out of our society.

We call evil good and good evil. If I had a time machine back in the 1950s, That could travel me into the future of our present day, I would have gone back rather than be carried into the very bowels of hell. Because all hell has broken loose in society today, As this nation kissed God goodbye years ago.

And where is the church in all of this? The modern church is powerless through compromise with the world, And conformity to a sin-loving society. Although our congregations enjoy plush sanctuaries and country club amenities, They sit each week in entertainment and laughter, But in leanness of soul. God withdrew his presence from among us decades ago.

The nation of America is full of pride and wealth, But economically it's a house of cards waiting to be blown away. America sits on the very verge of implosion and destruction. Why does America need revival? If she does not have revival, She will continue to fill her cup of iniquity.

There'll be certain ruin for this God-provoking nation, Will be destroyed by a sin-hating God, Who will avenge his holy name as he turns this nation into hell. Heaven help us all!
