I don't know the how, but I know the who. Your good opinion of yourself won't cut the mustard on judgment day. God cannot be explained, but he can be experienced.

If you don't repent, you will surely go to hell, even if you are the chairman of the deacons. If you're a stranger to repentance and regeneration, then your hope of heaven is only a hole in the wall. Faith is going out on a limb for God to where all your other limbs are exposed.

What matters is Christ and eternity, nothing else matters. The best of men are only men at best, but Jesus can make them better men. What is the cost and worth of a soul, a bloody cross, and a blood-stained Christ? God's word is true, and God is true to his word.

There is a common day of judgment where every mother's son will be held up against the strictness and severity of God's unbending law, and all will fail that test because all have sinned and come short of the glory of God. If you're not in the book of life, you're in the volume of the damned. Sin is black, hell is hot, and a thrice-holy God must ponder sin.

Men will let you down, but Jesus never will. Jesus is a faithful friend who will never let you down and never let you go, up until it's time for you to go.
