On the currency of the United States is the slogan, In God We Trust. And in our Pledge of Allegiance we say, One Nation Under God. And our churches will talk about God come Sunday.
But the God most folks mention today is the American God, who isn't the God of the Bible. The American God is a benign entity of love that would never condemn someone for their lifestyle preference, nor would he ever punish someone for sin. The American God is into material prosperity, and he blesses his adherents with health, wealth, and prosperity.
The American God is a lot like us. He likes footballin', baseballin', basketballin', all professional sports that are played on Sunday. And he even has an active interest in who wins.
The American God is the man upstairs who does not hate the sinner, but only hates the sin. And he's okay with little personal sin, so long as they don't bother anybody else. The American God has changed with the times.
He is politically correct in his dealings with man. The American God is the one most talked about in churches in America. The American God loves to bless America because of her wonderful works of charity and compassion.
The American God would never send a person to hell. He would never punish sin. He would never condemn a person for sin.
That's the American God. What they don't tell you, friends, is that the American God is a devil. And that's the title of my message this evening, friends.
American God is a devil because only a devil wouldn't punish sin. Only a devil would condone sin. And only a devil would call evil good.
The American God is a devil because the God America believes in is not the living God of the Bible, but a demonic being that propagates sin and facilitates the damning of souls by calling it religion. The God of America is the God of all world religions. And this God traffics in the souls of men and calls it evangelism.
The God of America is a devil determined to damn America and pervert the rest of the world. The American God is a monster of iniquity, the devil in disguise, who has pulled the wool over the blinded eyes of the apostate modern church that worships a God that is not found in the Bible, in reality. The living God of the Bible has America under his judgment and he will destroy this godless nation of perverts, pagans, and atheists if it continues on its path to rebellion against him.
America outlawed the God of the Bible years ago and rejected him and replaced him with a devil of a God that condones sin, sanctions the murder of babies, marries homosexuals, and calls evil good and good evil unless America repents and turns back to the God of the Bible, this nation will be destroyed and join the ash heap of all other ancient civilizations that worship devils as well.
