Full Transcript

The man Moses lived to be 120 years old, and his life may be divided into three periods of 40 years each. His first 40 years were spent in Egypt as a member of Pharaoh's household. The next 40 years of Moses' life were spent in obscurity on the backside of the Midian Desert, and the last 40 years of his life are marked after his encounter with God at the burning bush.

What we can determine from this, friends, is significant. In Exodus chapter 2, in verses 1 through 15, the record of the first 40 years of his life is covered by 15 verses of Scripture. In Exodus 2, 15 through 25, we see that the next 40 years of Moses' life is covered by only 10 verses of Scripture, but the record of the last 40 years of Moses' life after he encountered God is covered by an astounding 4,252 verses of Scripture.

Surely, this clearly demonstrates that from God's perspective, a person's life becomes significant after that individual has an encounter with God, and from that experience of God goes on to live a life surrendered to God in a supernatural walk with Him that is a wonder to the world and a marvel to the angels in heaven.
