Brian Schwertley (c. 1960 – N/A) was an American preacher and pastor whose ministry has been dedicated to advancing Reformed theology and biblical preaching within Presbyterian circles. Born around 1960, likely in the United States, he grew up in a Christian environment that shaped his commitment to the faith. He pursued theological education, earning a Master of Divinity from Reformed Episcopal Seminary in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, in 1984. His preaching career began in earnest as he served as Associate Pastor-elect for Church Planting at Southfield Reformed Presbyterian Church in Michigan in 1995, ordained as a Teaching Elder by the Reformed Presbyterian Church of North America (RPCNA) in 1996, and later planted Reformation Fellowship Mission Church in Lansing, Michigan, until 2000. Schwertley’s ministry expanded as he took on pastoral roles, including organizing Chalcedon Christian Church in Haslett, Michigan, in 2001 under the Reformed Presbyterian Church in the United States (RPCUS), and serving as pastor of Covenanted Reformed Presbyterian Church (CRPC) in Manawa, Wisconsin, from 2004 until its secession in 2006, becoming Westminster Presbyterian Church of Waupaca County, where he was a founding member of the Westminster Presbyterian Church in the United States (WPCUS). Now pastoring CRPC in Prosper, Texas, he has preached at over a dozen Reformed churches, spoken at conferences like the Puritan Project in Brazil (2001), and authored numerous books and articles on topics like justification, sanctification, and worship, widely translated into languages including Portuguese and German.
