Bill McLeod emphasizes the necessity of knowing and studying the Word of God to grow in faith and effectively minister to others.
In this sermon, the preacher shares his personal experiences and insights on walking with God. He emphasizes the importance of studying the Bible and having a hunger for spiritual growth. The preacher also discusses the four sword judgments mentioned in Ezekiel 14 and 21, which include war, famine, disease, and wild beasts. He connects these judgments to the current state of the world, citing examples of storms, bad weather, and animal attacks as signs of these judgments. The preacher encourages listeners to seek understanding through the Bible to make sense of these events.

The question I often ask is this, did you pray before you came? You know, when we get out of a meeting, what we put into it, to a very large extent, if we come expecting, you won't be disappointed. If you come in a dead, frimmed mind, you won't get anything out of it. Don't blame the preacher.
Okay, I want to read the verses beginning in 2 Timothy chapter 2. Paul said in verse 10, I endure all things for the sake of the elect. They may also obtain the salvation which is in Christ Jesus with eternal glory. It is a faithful saying, for if we be dead with him, we shall also live with him.
If we deny him, he also will deny us. If we believe not, yet he abides faithful, he cannot deny himself. Of these things put them in remembrance, charging them before the Lord, that they strive not about words to no profit, but to the subverting of the hearers.
Study to show yourself approved unto God, a workman that needs not to be ashamed, rightly handling the word of truth. But unto more ungodliness than the word will ease. The Lord knows them that are his.
And let every one of the names depart and some to dishonor. If a man therefore purge himself from these, he should be a vessel unto every good work. Follow righteousness, faith, love, and peace with them, knowing that they gender strife.
And the servant of the Lord must be patient in meekness, instructing those of him. Chapter 3, verse 14. Or verse 13.
Evil men are deceiving and being deceiving. But continue thou which is in Christ Jesus. That the man of God may be perfect, truly firm, and the Lord Jesus Christ in season.
Teachers, having watched thou and all, do the work of an evangelist. Make full proof of your ministry. For I am now ready to be offered in prayer until eight.
Why did Moody do the same thing? And at the same time that he, and he said this. Oh, he said, besides that, in Acts 13, Paul preached. We need study to show yourself, should it be different.
I know some people are going to say, we have our faith, so what? You mean business with God? If you mean business with God, he that has my word, how come we don't get it? There are people that talk with me. Do you meditate? There are things that are weights. Now people tell me this, recently again.
I can write three chapters. Now this is not a problem. Later on.
So we don't have all his teaching in the four Gospels. Where did he get that from? You know, three years or longer. And so that's why he, nothing, nothing less, nothing different.
We all have. Then you're going to have to do away with. And one of them certainly is the word of God.
Now David didn't know. When he stole another man's wife and had sex with her, and then had her husband killed so he wouldn't find out, that his story would be different. He would have had a difference in his spirit.
Here's one of the things he said. You have Christ living with you. The word will eat like a tank.
Then you'll notice in chapters. But he's appealing here to the Old Testament. Who were.
But it does have something. He even met a seducer in Bethlehem. She gave it up.
There are many times. We're doing things. You know, Muslims.
And Muslims. And in the Quran itself. I don't think it would be much of an argument.
They think we're all bastards. And you see. They don't understand.
Now here's an illustration here Paul does. In chapter. Peace shall be a vessel.
He said my people. And something I often. And we have to be.
You know, we're supposed to be gentle towards. I remember one time being in a home. This lady was a doctor's wife.
They were not Christians. They were Catholic. And I just asked.
For this question. He can't. You don't.
Long wait. Then she said. He never had any sacraments.
He never even had a baptism. He never sat at the Lord's table. He never had a single good work.
Then she thought. She said. Got it right.
Now I said. Does God have more than one. Many.
Be instant. In the season. Out of season.
You know, in the Anglican church in England. They were members. They were Anglicans too.
And. Sometimes they were on the carpet. And you've been all over the country.
Preaching it every day of the week. So I said. I've kept the law.
You explain to me how. Long, long suffering in doctrine. The time will come.
When they will not endure sound doctrine. But after their own loss. They will.
Ears. They should turn away. And his body.
I'm sure that all of us. Can have a book. Except for.
I mean. I knew God had called me to preach. No matter how.
False. No. But I did have a free house.
Back here. God sent me to preach. And when I was preaching.
Then preaching to God. Got in some huts. And here I have sermon notes in this one.
Oh. How I love. In whom we live and move and have our birth.
Who's in charge of all. So you can't question. The human race has never been without wars.
We know all about these new diseases. So. We're going to take what has been happening.
And we have them come to our attention. We didn't have to. We finally had to get out of there.
Look. What's going on. And wolves attacking people.
Then they have another guy on TV. From here. I didn't say.
But one of the things you said. In the form of. They rejected him.
He said. What I mean. The missionary said.
Because. They have adopted this philosophy. We will never read.
Revival is. Although we might read the Bible this way. Now we want to come to this.
You know. Well no. That's not exactly what it means here.
He's talking about the word of God. Seeing you purified. Laying aside.
Laying aside. And then. As newborn babes.
Desire. I'm a pastor. I know it's wrong.
Malice. Secret hatred in the heart. Anybody that don't love the pure heart fervently.
That's how it's supposed to live. You know. Malice.
Saying one thing. Meaning something else. Sometimes we're guilty of that.
How did Christ handle it. To have you hypocritical. Deal with it.
My son doesn't bang with it. Not a day. A year.
I talked to him in India. World War 3. She's saying. I'm only making 20.
She couldn't live with it. 27 dollars. Getting more in a day.
Than many people in the world. The nations were angry. Anyway.
Love God. And repent of it. He lost his head.
Anyway. Dear people. What else can I say.
Study. Show you. I remember him.
Sitting. I unloaded on him. I said.
Listen. While he had to resign. I said.
Went to his face and told him. Father of all. We want to thank you.
Father. For not giving you. All the time.
We're afraid of all the time. Brings to an end of ourselves. United.
We want to thank you.
