God lives and works today. Who is it who knows this reality? It is those who know and love God's Son, Jesus Christ. Do you love Him? Mary Magdalene did.

She loved much because she was forgiven much. Today's meditation, She Found Her Risen Lord, by Basilea Schlink, shares about the kind of love which can experience that God lives. O Jesus, Lamb of God, most fair, My bridegroom, Lord and friend most dear, The heart of love I offer To treasure, joy, your love will supply The heavenly kingdom is brought nigh, My thankful heart I give you, My thankful heart I give you.

Mary Magdalene had such love and adoration for our Lord Jesus. She was the first one who hastened to the grave seeking Him. No angel could dazzle her with the beauty and splendor of His presence.

The angel was unimportant to her. She was only concerned with Him whom her soul loved, her Lord Jesus. When she didn't find Jesus in the grave, she continued to look.

For love does not cease. Love continues to love and to hope, even when all hope and expectation seems dead. Love sets itself a goal to know the Beloved and to be with Him.

Nothing else can satisfy love. Compared to the Beloved, all else is empty and worthless. Mary Magdalene could not rest until she could fall at Jesus' feet.

He spoke her name, Mary, and her love answered, Rabboni. If you give all your love to Him, you will be the happiest person alive. My thankful heart I give you, My thankful heart I give you.
