No Impossibilities With God

"How will this be," Mary asked the angel, "since I am a virgin?"(Luke 1:34)
"How will this be?" asked Mary when the angel told her that she was about to become pregnant and give birth to a child. She found it hard to believe the message of God brought by the angel. Mary had a very good reason to doubt God's Word. She was still a virgin, no man ever touched her. Every informed person knows that a woman cannot conceive all by herself. She needs a man to conceive. And Mary was not a wayward but a godly and pious girl. And it was against the law of nature for her to conceive.
Moreover such a thing never happened before. Never in the history of the world did a woman conceive without being touched by a man. God was telling her something which never happened, is about to happen now. The angel was telling that something which was against the nature's laws was going to happen now. It was quite natural for Mary to react as she did. But the angel gave her a powerful answer. That was an answer which will stand as an encouragement to all of God's children everywhere till the end of this age.
The angel said, "With God, nothing shall be impossible"! Hallelujah! According to the law of the nature it is truly impossible. There is no doubt about it. But it was God who made all the difference. God was involved, and the laws of the nature cannot stand against Him! They cannot stop God from doing what He wanted to do. If God said it, it's going to happen- that's it!
And Mary believed it! Of course, she had to bear the reproach of being an unwed mother for a little season, but for all the coming ages she is praised and honored as the most blessed woman in all the history of mankind. She believed God's Word. She submitted herself to God's plan in her life. And she became the mother of the savior of the world!
My dear brother and sister, if you want to be blessed and be a blessing to the world, please believe God's Word against all odds. Never doubt the promises of God. Always be submissive to the plan of God in your life. Don't worry about the consequences. Don't bother about the insults you may have to bear. Just obey the will of God for your life. Faith and obedience- these two are essential for anyone who wants to be blessed by God and be a channel of blessing.
Sometimes God's promises seem to be impossible. Nevertheless believe them. God enjoys doing the impossible for His children. It's my sincere prayer today, that God will do a great thing in your life. Just believe God's promises and expect Him to act today. May you experience God's wonder working power today in your life!
