In this sermon, the speaker shares a personal testimony of a time when he was feeling overwhelmed and contemplated suicide. He describes his search for a place to hide and his decision to write a suicide note. However, when he reached for a sheet of paper, he heard a voice telling him to open and read the Bible. The speaker then shares how he opened the Bible and read a verse from Ecclesiastes that spoke to him, reminding him not to destroy himself and to fear God. This experience led him to start a ministry in a different state in India, despite the challenges he faced.

Greetings to you in the mighty name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. The land which is known as the graveyard of missionaries in India and when the Holy Spirit move, begin to move the Lord makes the impossible into possible, right? This morning, that's the testimony you are going to hear. By the way, I speak British English, so if you could not follow me, could not understand me, just show your fingers so I can repeat it. That's the only way I can help you. Thank you brother Fred for giving me this opportunity to come and speak in the middle of all of you. And as you heard, our dear brother Greg, who is my host, and also for last one week my taxi driver taking me all around. And we had a wonderful time together and the Lord has really given us a wonderful time. I never met him before. Through one of my friends introduced me to him and he trusted me and you know that they have two small babies, so the sister was taking care of the babies and as an international man there she has no idea what this fellow want to eat and drink. But she gladly accepted me and taken care of me very well. Thank you brother Greg for your hospitality and your care. God's ministry is always a team, team ministry. Jesus never wanted to do the things by himself. Even from the beginning that was God's plan of teamwork. Many times we don't understand the spirit of teamwork and that is the heart of God and that is the way the Lord does the things. And so after I came here I came to know the wonderful things about this fellowship. And this morning I met a sister she spent 20 years in the state of, I mean in India. Then another sister came and told me that another sister is here. I didn't see her but 40 years spent in India another sister 20 years in India. And it is wonderful to see the missionaries here. Hallelujah. God loves all of us and it's a great joy to see and using us in different way in different places. India is such a needy place. Do you know how many million gods and goddesses are in India? 300 million. Do you know what is the population of India? 135,000 here. India we are having about 1.3 billion. So the people of India thought one god cannot control all these things. So they begin to add one after another one after another. So now we have 33 million 86 million gods and goddesses. Of course people give different different number because nobody knows. Every day new gods come up. Like you people make new houses. The same way in India new gods and new gurus coming up. So nobody have no idea how many are there. But that is the likeness of India. They do not know the living god. The god who has the full power who can save them, who can deliver them who can give the eternal life. That is a great challenge in India. So when I want to think about India think about this big population. Maybe sometime I make a fund. Maybe that's the reason I become short because no space to grow. But God loves India. Have you read that word India? Have you seen the word India in the Bible? I have seen it. I don't know where it is now. Anybody else? Seen the word India in the Bible? In the book of Esther. Very good. Give a good clap for the sister. Somebody is here who knows that. I heard it this morning in the radio. Laughter Laughter That's good. So the word India is in the Bible of the book of Esther two times. So I believe the Lord loves India. God sent his disciple to India. But you know because of the strong old area. The darkness. After two thousand years still Christian population in the country according to the government it is only less than three percent. But by God's grace we are about six percent now. It is not officially recorded. But things are growing. People are coming to the Lord. So one of my prayers, Lord I want to see at least twenty percent people come to the Lord before I die. So I don't know how long I am going to live. I am 53 and my grandparents they lived up to 98 and 99. So I have no idea how long I am going to live. But that is not my concern. My concern is Lord before you take me I want to see at least twenty percent people come to the Lord and worship Jesus as the living God. That's my prayer. I do fasting and prayer and seeking God when I move around the streets. I go around when I travel in train or flight or in the bus or in the motorbike or in the car. That's my prayer Lord. I want to see before I die at least twenty percent people know and not only know to worship Jesus as their God. So this morning do you want to join with me to do that thing? The other day when I came here I really enjoyed the fellowship here. The spirit of prayer. So just came for one hour prayer. Not much introduction, not much these things. Just get into the prayer and spend that one hour in prayer. That was beautiful and excellent. I want to encourage you to keep on doing it. Through prayer of God's people God makes things. The impossible into possible. So I want to encourage you this morning. Whatever the Lord put in your heart, just keep on praying for that. You don't need to calculate whether it is going to happen or not. You don't need to do that calculation or doing all these things. But trust God and what is the Holy Spirit giving in your heart. That is He wants to do that things to happen. When I came to the Lord in the year 1979 I will tell you the story how I came to the Lord. That is another story. But after I came to the Lord, when the Lord called me for the ministry no idea. But the Holy Spirit put me in my heart just to pray. Lord bless me as you blessed Abraham. You know my name is Abraham. I am Abraham. So I didn't know about all the theology and philosophy of the Bible. I know what it was really mean for. But when I was sitting in the prayer time the Lord put that word in my heart to pray. Lord bless me as you blessed Abraham. That was simple prayer without knowing any idea what I am going to do, what is going to make, what is the sense of it, what is the meaning of it. No idea. But whenever the Lord put in my heart I began to pray. And today after 32 years by God's grace, humbly I would like to say we are about 25,000 people worshipping the Lord in different regions of India. And about 250 staff working under me which I never thought. It was never, never I could imagine that things is going to happen. But the Lord sent Abraham to other nation and God sent through you all the nations will be blessed. And I am born and brought up in southern part of India. No idea that time where I am going to do the work. Of course I committed for ministry but I have no idea where I am going to be, what I am going to do. Nothing. But I just obey the Lord. The Lord put that things in my heart. I just began to pray. So this morning before I go to further, I want to tell you that maybe you are a young man or old. Young woman or old woman doesn't make the difference. Because God doesn't have grandchildren. God has only the children. You may have grandchildren and great-grandchildren that's ok. But in the sight of God he has only children. So we all are equally balanced, equally loved, equally divided things, the blessings. So let's claim and keep on praying for that. So as you are going to pray for India, so I like every Wednesday when you come, keep India and keep on praying. So I want to give you this morning. So that's it. Nice gift to remind you, keep on praying. India needs more and more prayers. How many of you believe if you pray, India will change and India will love Jesus? Amen. God honoured our faith. Always I tell my church when you lift your hands up, it goes up. And God loves it. Lifting our hands and thanking and praising and trusting God. Lord I love you, I trust you. That's the thing God loves and makes the impossible thing into possible through our lives. So again thank you for giving this opportunity. I'm Abraham. Can you imagine my wife's name? Yes that's true. My wife's name is Sarah. And I have two children, Princey and Prince. So it is easy to remember. Princey and Prince. We as a family love the Lord and my daughter did her Masters in Counseling two years training in USA and now came back to India and serving the Lord with us. My son did his MBA and looking for a job and both of them they love the Lord. And I told them I will send you other countries. Just go and see it. Get training but come back and settle in India because India needs more people. So both of my children I prayed and they also committed to continue their life in India and serve the Lord in India. So I was born and brought up in southern part of India. That's called Kerala. Kerala when you come to the airport you see a welcome banner, welcome sign saying welcome to God's own country. It's a nice place, beautiful. All 12 months you see the greenery and a wonderful place to visit. So if you come for a tour as a tourist to India you must visit Kerala. That's a nice place. So I was born and brought up there and in the year 1979 I completed my high school. High school means in India 10th grade. Then I want to continue my education. But my parents didn't have the money to send me to the college. So one of my uncle who lives in Bangalore, a neighboring state, when you see the IT people, mostly they are trained in Bangalore. Even if you see here. So I was called there. I was so much encouraged. I was having a big dream because I'm going to a big city where I can get the best education and make a good future. So I went there and two years I spent. Nothing happened. Totally discouraged. No idea what to do. I was feeling ashamed to go back to Kerala to meet my friends because already they completed two years. I went to a big city. Could not have anything and I was feeling so ashamed to meet them and I was not seeing any hope here to continue my life. Finally I was disappointed at that level and I wanted to commit suicide. So the day I was sitting and planning. There is a train at 5 pm. Put my head on the running train and kill myself. So I planned. I was praying. I mean not praying. I was going through all the emotions, feelings. Then after four I thought I want to go and find out a place somewhere I can lay down and nobody could see me. Then again thought came to my mind. I spent two years. Lot of my neighbors they know me because I was working in the grocery store of my uncle. So lot of my neighbors they know me very well. So if somebody find out then my uncle will be in trouble. Parents will be in trouble. You know the police case and all. So maybe better to write a suicide note. So I want to write a suicide note. I was in search of sheet of paper. It happened my grandfather's Bible was there. I was a Catholic when I was born and brought up in that way. So under the Bible there was some paper. So I want to take a sheet of paper, lift the Bible. I heard a voice, my son, open and read it. When I heard this one, you know that states speak different language. My mother tongue is different. But I heard the voice in my own mother tongue. And so I put it back and looked around and want to know who is that. So I opened the door. I could not see anybody. I thought something psychologically affected my mind. So I had to write and go. Otherwise I will miss the train. In a hurry came back to take the paper, lift the Bible. I heard the same voice, my son, open and read it. The second time I realized this is something from the Lord. As a big Bible I do not know where to read. I just opened like this. Then I got the verse from book of Ecclesiastes 7, 16 to 18 and it says, do not be over righteous. Why do you destroy yourself? Again it says don't be over wicked. Don't be a fool. Why die before your time? And the following verse says, it is good to grasp this and not to remove your hands. One who fears God will avoid all extremes. Two questions. Why do you destroy yourself? In that great confusion the Lord was so gracious to ask me directly why die before your time? What a great God we serve. How much he loves and takes care of us. This morning anybody who is here is a person of discouragement. I want to encourage you. Ask the Lord. God has something to speak to you. This is God's word. And God speaks to his people through his word. Not only to receive but believe and trust. That will bring the changes in your life. You may be hearing God's word for years but you may not be trusting it. You may be putting your own mind in different way. God doesn't want that kind of thinking. God wants blindly to believe, to trust. I thanked the Lord that day. Just I knelt down and I prayed, Lord if you love me take care of my life. Because I am not a praying person I don't have any fancy words to say. Just said, Lord if you love me take care of my life. That was in 1979. From 1979 till today the Lord is taking care of my life. Then after a few months I got a job in postal department. You know about 1.3 billion people once you get a government job they feel very good, lucky and nice because get good job. And I was also feeling so good because God not only loves me he gave me a good job. I was enjoying it going to the church and growing in our spiritual fellowship. Then after six months the Lord said, son I saved you not to work in the post office but go to the place where the people never heard of my name. That was not a good news for me because of much struggle I got a job. Now the Lord is asking me to leave it and go. I said no I want to be in the church, I want to give my tithe, I want to be active member in the church. No way to leave it and go. I never felt that I want to do the ministry. I never wanted to do it. And that struggle went on another three years. Three more years. Finally the Lord let me to get my job and commit my life for God's ministry. And then I joined with Operation Mobilization OM then that was a good time of training. Then I felt my calling is a missionary call. I need to get a training to do the missionary work. So I was looking into that. I find out a bible institute in other state of southern India and so I joined there. That was 18 months training particularly giving the basic idea of the bible, teaching more about passion, creating passion, vision and missionary work. So I was really enjoying doing that. Then in between somebody came to the bible school and said there is a state in north India having 102 million people. That means one tenth of Indian population lives in that one state of Bihar. And the neighboring state is UP where our sister was worked. That is having 20% of population. That means in India two states consist 30% of Indian population having less than 1% Christians there. At this one state Bihar is known as the graveyard of missionaries in India. And that is the birthplace of Buddhism. That is the birthplace of Jainism. You know the Punjabi people here, the Sikh religion they have 10 gurus. The last guru was born in Bihar. The holy river of Hinduism, the Ganges river is in Bihar. The highly worshipped one of the goddesses of Hinduism. It is a mystical story but still they believe Sita was born in Bihar. All stronghold area are in Bihar. That was one state. From the beginning they resist the gospel. They never wanted to hear the gospel. They killed few western missionaries. They killed a few Indians and they attacked them and it was so hard to work in Bihar. That's why they called it as a graveyard of missionaries. Centuries nothing was happening. So this man was sharing about that state and said only the gospel can bring the transformation. So who will pray? Who will go? That was a big challenge. As a missionary student I took it and I began to pray Lord please send someone to Bihar. So whenever it comes to my mind I said Lord please send someone to Bihar. There is no one. Then after a few months the Lord said not someone, you must go. Oh my God. I said Lord no. Even the educated people gone there. Talented people, gifted people, they could not do anything. I don't know what I can do there. But in 1984 in obedience to God's call I went there, did not know anything. The language is different. The culture is different. In India you go to one state to another state. It's just like going from one country to another country. So I went there, rented a small room, started the ministry. Nobody wants to listen to the gospel. If you give them a tracts, they will take it and ask what is it? They say if you have Jesus they will smash it and throw it to your face and shout go from here. And it was so horrible. I worked one year. I never got one chance somebody asking me to sit and talk. And even they don't ask me to sit on their chair. Because they believe Christians mean the low caste. You know the caste system. They treat Christians as the lowest caste, outcaste, untouchable. Then one day I was walking around and sharing the gospel and I was so thirsty when somebody's house, I knocked the door. A tall guy came and asked who you are, what do you want? I said sir, would you kindly give me a glass of water? He just looked up and down and asked me what caste you are. I said I am a Christian. My goodness, by hearing that word Christian, he got so upset and he was mad. He was beginning to shout. I said sir, am I not a human being? He said if you talk more I will kill you. Just hold his hand and jumped over me. So as much speed I can run, I run away from the place. And it was so hard. Though financially my family was not doing well, but I came from a big family. Well known family in my place. Everybody give a good respect to our family. But now I become untouchable here. It was so hard for me to digest. And two, three weeks I was crying. I said no, I can't do anything more in this state. And like Jonah, I took my suitcase and ran away from Bihar. I said no more. I want to do anything in Bihar. So I went to another neighboring state called UP that's called Uttar Pradesh. So I went there. Few people were much more better than Bihar. I was doing good. Then the Lord said, you are not in the right place. I said Lord, other than Bihar I am ready to go anywhere. I committed my life as a missionary. I am fine. I am ready. But don't ask me to go back to Bihar. That struggle went on for one year. Again the Lord very clearly spoke to me to go back to Bihar. Then I said Lord, give me a vision. Something the people to accept me socially. I want to sit with the people. I want to talk with the people. I don't want to be outcasted like that. Show me some vision. If you really want me to go to Bihar. Then the Lord gave me a vision to start a school. And the people they like Christian schools. And especially South Indian. Because they think South Indians are very brilliant and good in English. Good people. And so I no idea. I have never been a teacher. No idea about administration. And no fund. And I don't know how it's going to happen. Then I asked Lord, you gave me a big vision of starting a school. How that is going to take place? Then again through book of Ezekiel, one day the Lord spoke to me, be ready and get ready. That's how. Two words the Lord gave me. I said okay Lord, I am ready. But I don't know how it is going to happen. But I am ready. Then I came back to Bihar. Rented a building. Started the school in 1986. With one Muslim child. In a miraculous way the Lord provided. A man gave us a building. Another Muslim man gave the furniture without paying any money. He said you can pay later on. So the Lord made it everything possible. Start the school. I prayed Lord, give me at least 100 children. Otherwise how will I manage? Nobody there to support me. I had to pay the rent and salary. Within one month I got 40 children, 100 children. Then I was calculating all the income and expenditure. Unless I get 40 more I cannot manage. Then I said Lord, forgive me. I asked only 100. You gave me 100. Unless you give me 40 more I cannot manage. The Lord graciously provided 49 more within another one month. What a great God we serve. When God gives a vision, there is a provision. Many times we get confused with that. Always remember when God gives you a vision, there is a provision. And trust God. And now I become socially accepted. Because I become the principal of the school. Not think about as a Christian or outcast man. But now I become the principal. So now people come and say Namaste sir. Come in sir. Sit down sir. So I can have the tea and coffee. But it took 10 years to see somebody coming to the Lord. I was asking Lord, what is it? You asked me to go back to Bihar. And I spent 5 years. Nobody wanted to come to the Lord. 7 years, 8 years. But time to time the Lord was giving me different promises. I trust. So I don't know you have seen my book. Somebody came and told me I read your book. This is my life story of 25 years. Then if you look at the back, there is I put the things, the chronology. The chronology you see different occasions God gave me the promise. The problem and the promise. So that's my spiritual life. When I get into problems, I ask the Lord. Lord what do you want to tell me in between? Once the Lord gave me the promise, I hold on that promise. Then I don't pray for the problem. But I say thank you Lord for the word you have given. Thank you Lord for Isaiah 41, 13, whatever the Lord gave me. I hold on that promise and say thank you God. Again as a human, the problem will come back to the mind. Then I say Satan you go. Thank you Lord for the word the Lord gave me. Hallelujah. That is the way to overcome the situation. Once the Lord gave a promise, the Lord gave a word that is yes means yes. There is no change. Our God cannot tell lie. He cannot change according to circumstances and situations. Once the Lord said yes, that means yes. I will do. I will do. I will make it. I will make it. There is no way to change it. So I love my Jesus. Because he is unchanging God. He never changes word. He is very true to his word. Again I want to encourage you dear brothers and sisters. You may be a Christian for long years. But how much you trust him. How much you think that my God can help me in this situation. We sing the song love and obey no other way. We love to sing. But when circumstance comes, we go to the counsellors. Get the counselling. After many counselling the family get divorced. Divorce is the purpose of God's institution of marriage. Dear brothers, no more for counselling. Take fasting and prayer and ask the Lord. Lord restore my marriage. If you go after men, he give you the worldly wisdom. I wonder after sometime he will suggest you to go to the court and divorce. That is one of the big curse in the western countries. And it is gradually coming to India also. Because the western is spreading all over. Is the Lord is not able to restore your marriage? He is not able to solve your problem? The problem comes. David says, it is good that I was in trouble because I could know the Lord more and more in my life. Again he says, oh taste and see that the Lord is good. When you have the hard troubles, hard times, that make you to feel and to understand how good is our God. If you do not have a problem, you won't cry. If you don't have a problem, you won't ask the Lord for help. That's the time the Lord wants you to come and sit at his feet and cry unto the Lord. But the school was started. First year one year just over. Then I was one, two young people, one lady and gent. They met each other in our school. They want to get married. I said okay. So I did all the arrangements for their marriage. After the marriage they said they want to start a new school. I said I was totally new to school system. No idea. I was totally depending on these people. The man was sitting in my office and managing. His wife was the main teacher of the school. Now they wanted to go out. Then I said, okay you go. But please go a little further. Don't start the school nearby. Then gradually because he was sitting in the school he convinced all the parents, said you know Abraham is not educated and he doesn't know the things and we are the people running the school. So we are going to start the school. Send your children to get good education. And the academic year starts in December and ends in January. It starts in January and ends in December. By the time end of the December, 70% of the people came and told me we are going to take the children from this school and put them in the new school where your staff is going to start the school. I said Lord, you asked me to start the school. I am not going to ask anybody to help me. You are my help. You want to help me. You know when the school was closed, with much fear, much cry, much sadness because once the school's reputation goes once it's so hard to get it back. 70% children go out from the school there is no way to get the new admission. You can imagine the situation. That's my beginning of the life. But I said Lord you asked me to do this one. You are my protector and provider. I am not going to go to any parents I am not going to ask anybody's help but you have to help me. I was crying and praying, crying and praying. When the January came the first day about 50% children came. I thanked the Lord Lord, at least 50 came. Then after one week, 70% came. Praise God, 70% here. The people said 70% will be going out. At least 70% here. Within another one week, 100% children came back to my school. None of them gone from my school. Do you want to give a good clap to Jesus? O taste and see that the Lord is good. If I would have gone after men, they may help me a little bit and they will sing all the way, I helped Abraham, I helped Abraham. But now, nobody can take that glory. Only my Jesus can take the glory. God never shares his glory with anybody else. Our God is so consummate about it. So strong in that. God says, I will not give my glory to anybody. So, trust in God as an answer for every your problem. I can tell all day, I can keep on telling my life stories like that. The Lord equipped me like that. Because the place I was, nobody was there. I was no place to go and ask counselling. Nobody there to sit and pray with me. So that's only my place of joy and sorrow was God's presence. I used to sit and cry and cry. I love to sit and cry in front of God, not in front of men. I don't like it. Men will smile. Men will make criticism. Men may not feel, understand your feelings very well. But my God knows every drop of my eyes. That's what the God says. I keep the tears of God's people in a bottle. That is a value for that. We don't understand that. So this morning I want to encourage you. I want to know you people too. If you cry and drop one drop from your eyes, that God takes in His bottle. He is not allowing going it down to the ground. But God has so much value for that, your tears. So dear brothers and sisters, if you are going through the hard times, don't go after the counsellors. Don't go after your friends. But of course, if your friends are a praying partner, sure, join together and pray. That's good. But all your cry should be in the presence of the Lord. Can you agree with me and say Amen? Don't tell a lie and say Amen. But if you totally trust, if you believe that it's going to happen, then join with me and say Amen. So that's the way the Lord begins to do, dear brothers and sisters. I can keep on telling the story, but Sunday you may need some to hear from God's word also. So I have seen, this is 30 years of our ministry. This is a souvenir. The last year was our 30 years. Then I asked the Lord, Lord, how to celebrate it? The first thing that came to my mind was to take 30 days fasting. One day for one year. So the Lord helped me to take last year, February 1 to March 2, 30 days fasting, just to thank the Lord. Many times we are taking fasting for some problems. But I took 30 days fasting just to thank the Lord for the 30 years. Then we had a wonderful celebration, October 2, 30 to November 2. All our staff and families and people from our churches, all they came and we just gathered together and thanked the Lord for His faithfulness. So let this church may have wonderful times of celebrations. May the Lord continue to bless us. So our church also believes in the house church system. We have 1,600 house churches now in five states of North India. That's what I said. God is not looking into your ability but looking into your availability. If you are available God can make it happen. So I don't know how long this church is consisting here as a house church. I like it. The concept of house church is in three things. To come together and learn, to have fellowship and to multiply. Did you follow me what I said? Coming together to learn and to have fellowship and to multiply. That's God's heart of a church. Evangelism is a fun. Did you hear me? Evangelism is a fun. Fun, F-U-N, fun, you know. We can go around and do it. How we do it? I tell you the one formula. F-O-R-M, form, you know, F-O-R-M. F, if you meet somebody, generally what you do? Just you ask about, oh, what's your name, from where you are, which city, okay. Then you talk about your family. You know, they may ask others' family, how many children, all this. People love to talk about their families, right? So start, F stands for family, personal and family. People love to do that. Then the second O, O stands for occupation. Then further we ask them, what kind of work you do? Occupation. Oh, good. I know. Oh, good. You are a doctor. Very good. You are a pastor. Good. You are a mechanic. You are whatever, you know. Okay. Then you ask them and you tell what you are doing. So that's called occupation. Then R, R for religion. Because you are living in Canada, you may be meeting different people. So ask about, oh, what religion you believe? Then they may say, I am a Sikh or Hindu or, my parents were Christians, but I don't go to very much on the church. Okay, whatever. You know. So you, then you say, my testimony. M stands for my testimony. Simple. Oh, okay. That's good. No criticism, no condemnation. Don't say that you are a Hindu, you are not going to say because you believe in 33 million gods, 86 million gods and goddesses, my Jesus is good, great. No. If you do any condemnation, criticism, people don't like to hear you. What they want you to hear, I believe in Jesus because he transformed my life. That's what God said. You go and be my witness. It's no need to go to the Bible school and get a big training. Share your testimony. If you have a life testimony. How you came to the Lord. How you experienced God's love in your life. How the Lord solved your problems. How good it has been, being with Jesus. Share your testimony. Very simple. F-O-R-M. That's what way we teach our church people. I thought this morning just to share. F-O-R-M. Share with the people evangelism is our responsibility. First I said evangelism is fun. Go around. F-O-R-M method. Use it. And evangelism is our responsibility. God cannot send his angels to do that work and it has done or it has been given to you and me to be his witness in this world. So evangelism is our responsibility. It's not an option. Everybody is called to do that. So as in book of Acts chapter 8 verse 4 says Acts 8 verse 4. When there was a severe persecution people were running away to save their life. Then what happened? Wherever the people went, they preached the gospel. That was the early beginning of the church. Persecution is a new thing. Not a new thing. Everyday it happens everywhere. There is no other religion in the world having the persecution story for 2,000 years. Is any other religion in the world having this big story of persecution? Everyday we are facing that one. Nigeria, 2,000 people killed last week at a time. Hundreds of people are being killed. India, after the new formation of the new government, they have a program called Garvapasi means come back to home. So they go to the Hindu converts who want to become Muslim or Christian. They are going and forcing them to come back to Hinduism. And Muslims are good in fighting. So they give them fight back. But Christians don't do that. We cannot do it. So because of that they are making lot of problems in the churches in India now. Because of the support. Government is not openly telling it. But they are supporting these people. And everyday problems are happening. Before I came here just a week before, one of the churches was burned in Bihar. And two of our churches went through very hard time. But praise God our church people said, we trusted God Jesus. And Jesus transformed our life. So we are ready to die for Jesus. But we are not ready to come back to Hinduism. So after hearing all this media and police officers and they said ok, if you want to go to church, you go. And we didn't have that big problem. But another church was burned. And lot of things going on in India. But in spite of all this, the church is growing. And North India, this is the first time the Lord is moving in North India especially. So keep on praying for it. So evangelism is our responsibility. The third thing I want to tell you, evangelism is the heart of God. Jesus came to this world. He didn't sit on one place. He didn't go to only the synagogue and preach. But he went to the villages. He went to the town. He went to the Samaritan lady. He went to the tax collector. He was in search of the man on the tree. Who was that fellow? Zacchaeus. Hello. And told Zacchaeus, come down. I want to come and eat with you this evening in your home. Tax collector Matthew, follow me. He followed. And many other tax collectors came to the Lord. Jesus went to the synagogue and taken every opportunity. And that is the heart of Jesus. Go and preach the gospel. As this house church here, gathering here this morning, how much passionate we are. Are you comfortable coming into the church and worship and go back? I have seen you brought a lot of good meals this morning. Wonderful. India, we do not do that thing. Once in a while we do. But I think every Sunday you are doing it is very good. Is it enough? So God's heart is after evangelism. So Jesus went and did it. So dear brothers, our heart must be passionate for Jesus. Passionate for Jesus. Every opportunity to share the love of Christ. At least you go and tell Jesus loves you. Maybe that day he may want to hear that one word love. Maybe after hearing that one word, he may think, oh Jesus is a person who can give me love. Who knows? Maybe he meets somebody else. And he may share a little more about Jesus. And he may come back to the Lord. So evangelism is the heartbeat of Jesus. He anointed the people to go and preach the gospel. He trained and sent two by two, go and preach the gospel. Even in his lifetime he did it. He discipled the people, trained the people to do evangelism. That was his heart. And he didn't change his strategy. Still God's heart is after evangelism. Are you okay with me? Of course people think that you know people come from India as a missionary to ask money. I don't care about the money. Because I know my God is my provider. So whatever the Holy Spirit asks me to do it, I do it. So I am not a person very different from other Indian people. I don't ask or share the financial needs with the people. The last 30 years the Lord protected me and provided me. I know he is my provider. But this is the heart of God. I want this church to do that thing. Take that responsibility. Take that responsibility. So the how church is to come together and learn, to have the fellowship and to go out and multiply. James 1.22 says, be of doers, not only hearers, and not to deceive yourself. Three words. Be of doers. Yeah you can tell me after. Be of doers, not only hearers, not to deceive yourself. You see that wonderful word? Be of doers, not only hearers. And finally it says, don't deceive yourself. This morning after I hear this thing, I want to see at least one person begin to do it. I will be happy. That will bring God's glory to Jesus. Amen. Then Acts 1.8 what God said, when the Holy Spirit comes upon you, what will happen? Tell me. We can do it together. Once the Holy Spirit comes upon you, you will be my witness in Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria, and the outermost parts of the world. Amen. The Holy Spirit is given for that. That's the heart of God. Go and Psalm 2.8 says ask of me, I will give you the nations to you as your inheritance. Ask of me. We are not doing it. And here in Canada, there are 35 million people and says 16% of the 35 million are outsiders. 185 nations are here in this country. You think you are not able to go to India or China or to go to do the preaching. But here all world is here. You don't need to spend your time to go and learn the culture and language. But all world is at your doorstep. One million Chinese people are in this country. 135,000 Indians are here in this country. So you no need to go to other countries but ask the Lord, Lord take me to somewhere to meet somebody this morning. Give me that opportunity to do the witness. So, do you want to keep this church as only a Canadian fellowship? Or can you open your mind little more bigger? I don't know whether Fred is happy with me or not. I don't know. Can we open our hearts? Let the Chinese people come in. Let the Indian people come in. Let other people come in. So maybe, I don't know the name of this church fellowship, but can we rename this fellowship as International House of Fellowship? Put the new signboard. International House of Fellowship. Let every people, every nation come and worship with us. Take the training here and go out and start another house fellowship. And go and multiply. We must be a people of sending out. Not only holding, but send out. Let every person to go out. And 2015, before the end of this year, at least we should have another five more house fellowship like this. Can we think about it? Can we pray about it? Let new people come to the presence of the Lord. Let the Lord enjoy, the people may enjoy the things with the Lord. You and me are called for that. It's not that breaking. I am not asking to break the fellowship and go out. Let be the branch churches. Branch house fellowship. Why do you want only the one? Why don't we can add five more? Let the people hear the name of Jesus. You don't need to go to China and learn the Chinese language. Yesterday myself and Greg were in a Chinese family for dinner. Then he was teaching us how to write the Chinese. It's so hard to learn all these things. So you don't need to go. The Chinese are here. Romanians are here. Vietnamese are here. You know the Muslim people are not a missionary minded people. But where they are they are trying to control all world into Islam. Their passion in that. They are helping each other. If you see one Muslim buy a house here, within five years at least five more houses they will buy. They will help each other to buy another house because they want to live together. And within ten years, 100% growth is in UK. Muslim people. France 10% of the people become Muslims. They are all Christians. European countries, they took the gospel to all over the world. Now they are converting to Islam and Buddhism and Chinese. Whatever it is. Why it is happening? Why our church people are dying? In this church where are your children? It's a fellowship only for the older people. How much you are concerned about your new generation? Jesus said, when he was crying and dying on the cross, ladies were crying, you are going. But Jesus said, don't cry for me, but you cry for you and for your children. Our parents and grandparents are here. How much time you take and pray and shed tears for your new generation to follow the Lord? If you don't do, who will do for your family? Your children are going getting married with a Hindu woman. Become Sikhism. Become converting to Islam. And just you are saying, oh my son got married with a Hindu woman, Indian woman, so good. Is it good? Do you feel proud of that? Your son going and getting married with a Hindu man and worshipping the idols? This morning, I am not critical. But I am just pouring out God's heart. You want to hear that God's word. Jesus said, don't cry for me. Cry for you and your children. Let your children and grandchildren follow the Lord. When Bible says about Timothy, there was a great testimony. The same faith you had in your mother and your grandmother. Let our grandchildren stood up and say, my grandparents were faithful. They loved the Lord. My parents loved the Lord. They followed. So I want to follow the same Jesus. In Turkish, you know within 10 years from 77 to 100, they made 77 mosques into 121. How much these people are doing? Hindus, yoga. Yoga become a kind of a big way of spreading their gospel. They do it in 3 steps. If anybody is doing yoga, listen to me carefully. They do in 3 steps. One is exercise. When you do the exercise, do all this. It's good. You feel so comfortable and good for your body. The second level they say meditation. Then they say to close your eyes and kiss silently. Then they say to say Om. Om is the word of worship the Hindu evil spirit. Then gradually the evil spirit come in your body and you get into the darkness. Then the third thing they do they ask you to go and follow the Guru. Then they connect with the Guru. And gradually these people convert to Hinduism. You may know many Canadians become Hindus. Americans become Hindus through yoga. But these people have all this passion to spread the gospel. But my Jesus said, go into the whole world and spread the good news. And we people are sleeping. When you will awake. So this morning, dear brothers and sisters, I know my time is over. I want to stop. Lydia was an ordinary woman. Was selling the clothes. When she heard the name of Jesus, she accepted the gospel and opened her house to worship the Lord. That was the first house church in all Asia. Not only heard the gospel, not only opened her heart, but opened her house for the worship. So let our house be open. Let the people come and hear the good news and fellowship of Jesus in our own home. Jesus said, okay, I am coming to your home. He was so happy. And along with him, he called all his friends to his home. Another house church started there. Matthew followed Jesus. Then you read further. Many tax collectors came to the Lord. Because of one Matthew, the tax collector opened his house for many tax collectors. There was a big criticism. But he does not bother about it. But he opened his house. So the house church concept is one of the best to do it. This is one of the best way to do it. And early church started like that. So this morning, what we are doing is not wrong. This is very biblical. But only the things which we need to do more is to equip more people. Send them out and multiply. Where there is no vision, people perish. So let's ask the Lord for a new vision. To have a bigger growth. Multiply. There may be many many more house churches like that. Where the Iranians, Romanians, Vietnamese, Chinese, Indians coming together and worshipping the Lord. Jesus as their savior and master. If you want to obey, if you trust ourselves and pray, the Lord will make it happen. Can you say an Amen to that? Amen. Do you believe that will happen? Do you believe that will happen? Do you believe that will happen? So this morning let's pray for that. My heart goes for that. I am a missionary. Wherever I go, that's the only good news I have to share. I want to motivate and encourage people. I am a helpless person who wants to commit suicide. The Lord graciously called me and gave me that vision. Nothing else. I went to Bihar just with a vision. Nobody was there to support me. Nobody was there to help me. I lived in poverty. I was starving when I didn't have the money to buy new clothes. Many times I went to the food path and bought the used clothes to use. That was the missionary work I started. Praise God now I don't need to buy the used clothes. God has given me enough money to buy new clothes. God is helping me to buy clothes for other people also. Our God is a great God. Only just to obey. Say, Lord, I am here to obey you. I am here to obey you. I want to see something happening through my life. Before I die, Lord, help me to bring at least ten people to your kingdom. Before the end of this year, Lord, help me to bring at least one person to your kingdom. One person to your kingdom. Don't do the general prayer. Don't do the general things. Be on focus. Make your own strategy and pray. Lord, I want to see at least one person coming to this church through my prayer and effort. If the Lord is putting an Iranian in your heart, pray for an Iranian. If the Lord is putting a Romanian in your heart, pray for a Romanian. If you are putting an Indian in your heart, pray for India. And if the Lord is putting a Chinese in your heart, pray. So that's why, let this fellowship become an international fellowship to bring more glory to God's kingdom. Let God's name be glorified. Thank you so much for giving me this time. Let's pray. Before we pray, take a moment. The Lord says, not only hear us, but become doers. Don't deceive yourselves. Ask the Lord for a new vision this morning. Ask the Lord for a new vision. Maybe one nation you ask. Maybe the Vietnamese or Romanian or Chinese or Indian, whatever. And from today onwards, you pray for that nation. Ask the Lord to bring one person to your life. And you will be able to lead that person to Christ. Train them and disciple him. Through him, many, many people will come to the Lord. Our gracious Father, I want to thank you for this wonderful morning. Thank you, Lord, for all the dear ones here. Thank you, Lord, for helping us to understand your will and wish. Your heartbeat, Lord, not only hear us, but help us to do it. Lord, this new year, help us to see some new things happening through this church, Lord. To bring glory to your name, Lord. Thank you, Lord, for our dear brother Fred and all other team who is working so hard. Thank you, Lord, for their wonderful fellowship and love. Continue to help them to grow into that. Help us to spread this love to many other hearts in the days to come. Continue to bless us, Lord. Thank you, Lord, for giving me this opportunity to stand in front of all these God's people. Help us in the spirit of praying for each other. Make things happen, Lord, for your glory and your expansion. Thank you, Lord, for hearing us. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.
