Yorrie Richard's Prayer Shed Part 2
Yorrie Richards

Yorrie B. Richards (died 2011). Born in Maesteg, Wales, Yorrie Richards was a British evangelist known for his dramatic conversion and prophetic ministry. Raised in a rough environment, he struggled with drinking and was a feared figure locally until an Apostolic church’s prayers led to his salvation. Despite a persistent stutter, he boldly hired Maesteg’s town hall for evangelistic meetings, where, after initial struggles, intercessory prayer by “Uncle Dai” reportedly ushered in a powerful revival, with many saved and his stutter overcome during passionate preaching. Richards ministered primarily in the UK, including Nottingham, where he lived with his wife, Eirian, daughter of the evangelistic Carr family, and influenced younger preachers through deep, Spirit-led sermons. His ministry, marked by simplicity and revelations, extended to places like Dundee, though he authored no major books. Eirian, a knowledgeable partner, died years before him, leaving a void. Richards passed away in 2011 in Nottingham, leaving a legacy of fervent faith. He said, “The Lord’s glory cloud appeared, and souls were saved by His power.”

I would like to relate to you an incident which took place that happened not in this shed but in a shed which stood behind me where this big tree is now. I had a shed there and God took me through the chapter of Hebrews 1. I need my Bible to share it with you but to those of you that know Hebrews chapter 1, you know that it is, it's talking about what the Father thinks of Jesus. Not so much of what Jesus thinks of the Father but we hear God the Father talking and he's talking to the Son. This day have I begotten you, he tells him. Then he said, God, oh yes my daughter bringing me the scriptures. Thank you Elaine. Let me just read to you and I this is Hebrews chapter 1 reading up to verse 13. God who at various times and in different ways spoke in times past to the fathers by the prophets as in these last days spoken to us by his Son whom he has appointed heir of all things through whom he also made the worlds who being the brightness, what a beautiful verse this is, who being the brightness of his glory and the express image of his person and upholding all things by the word of his power when he had by himself purged our sins sat down at the right hand of the majesty on high. Let me share with you something that took place in that little shed that used to stand there regarding Hebrews chapter 1. In verse 5 I was reading this chapter one evening simply to look at verse 3 who being the brightness of his glory and the express image of his person and then I felt that the Lord was saying to me read on so I began to read on and I seem to be guided in my reading whoever wrote Hebrews and I do have a very strong conviction who wrote Hebrews but he wrote it in such a way that the old testament verses that he used they form what God the Father was saying to the Son. Now I'll see if I can guide you through it as the Holy Spirit guided me and what he said to me was don't read anything else in the verse simply read the old testament scripture and listen notice the phraseology here the phraseology is not about but to it's God is God's opinion of the Son and this is the Father's opinion of the Son. Verse 5 you are my son today I have begotten you and I will be to him a father and he shall be to me a son. Verse 6 just read the old testament quotations let all the angels of God worship him who makes his angels spirits and his ministers a flame of fire. Your throne he says in verse 8 your throne oh God notice that God is talking to the Son and he's calling him God if Jesus is anything less than God then the revelation that he gave us would be a stunted revelation and would need further revealing and at a time which lays in the future but that is not the case the revelation of the Father that Jesus gave is a complete one. Listen to God again your throne oh God is forever and ever a scepter of righteousness is the scepter of your kingdom you have loved righteousness and hated lawlessness therefore God your God has anointed you with the oil of gladness more than your companions you Lord in the beginning laid the foundation of the earth in the genesis account of creation he created everything that was created by his word Jesus is the word of God Jesus is the agent in creation your throne oh God is forever and ever a scepter of righteousness is the scepter of your kingdom you have loved righteousness and hated lawlessness therefore God your God has anointed you with the oil of gladness more than your companions and you Lord in the beginning laid the foundation of the earth and the heavens are the work of your hands they will perish but you remain and they will all grow old like a garment like a cloak you will fold them up and they will be changed but you are the same Hebrews says Jesus Christ the same yesterday and today and forever like a cloak you will fold them up verse 12 and they will be changed but you are the same and your years will not fail sit at my right hand till I make your enemies your footstool hmm if you read that as I told you just reading the actual old testament scriptures you will find what the father is saying to the son and that night by the time I had read it four times I remember the number because he kept me reading until I got it but when I read it on the fourth time I ended I was on the floor of my prayer shed worshiping and praising God and thanking him for the honor of eavesdropping into what the father was saying to the son God bless you
