Keith Daniel

Keith Daniel (1946 - 2021). South African evangelist and Bible teacher born in Cape Town to Jack, a businessman and World War II veteran, and Maud. Raised in a troubled home marked by his father’s alcoholism, he ran away as a teen, facing family strife until his brother Dudley’s conversion in the 1960s sparked his own at 20. Called to ministry soon after, he studied at Glenvar Bible College, memorizing vast Scripture passages, a hallmark of his preaching. Joining the African Evangelistic Band, he traveled across South Africa, Namibia, Zimbabwe, and made over 20 North American tours, speaking at churches, schools, and IBLP Family Conferences. Daniel’s sermons, like his recitation of the Sermon on the Mount, emphasized holiness, repentance, and Scripture’s authority. Married to Jenny le Roux in 1978, a godly woman 12 years his junior, they had children, including Roy, and ministered together. He authored no books but recorded 200 video sermons, now shared online. His uncompromising style, blending conviction and empathy, influenced thousands globally.

Father, in mercy on all of us, come and wash me in the blood, fill me with the Holy Spirit, anoint and visit our hearts, take off the crust from our hardened hearts. No man can, we can't even do it ourselves, but the devil, Satan, has somehow, through life's circumstances, covered our hearts to be hardened. Break that hardened crust by the Word of God, and by the love and mercy of a Savior who hung on the cross and died a death no man could comprehend what it cost to take the full punishment of every man's sufferings for eternity, which plunged on him that a righteous God could declare men righteous if they take that by faith and seek Thee by grace through faith to be saved by the blood and death of Christ. O our God, come, therefore, give that heart of Christ by the Holy Spirit through this message to every heart here tonight. In Jesus the Christ's name, Amen. Forty-six years ago, forty-six years ago, I knelt before God. I knelt down before God and gave my life to Him. I don't know if anyone has ever groaned so desperately before God to be saved. In truth, as I did that night, I was very young, but my life was broken, crushed by sin and shame. And I'm so ashamed to say that. I hear people giving testimonies that they seem to gloat, to be able to shock, and so they name sins. And the more they can shock, the more they'll get into pulpits who only want sensationalism, a little bit of Christ, but bring in the filth. I can't do that. I am too ashamed to think of the past, let alone tell you of it in detail, to shock you or impress you with filth and depravity. I'm so ashamed. I do know this. When I groaned that night before God, part of my soul, I believe, was torn apart. I was so desperate and so fearful. You see, as I knelt down before God, there was a lot of people in that room, a good settee, godly on their knees, groaning before God for me because of what I was and what God had saved me from. I do know that in my groan before God, I trembled and I was filled with fear as I cried to God to save me. You see, I knew as I was on my knees that if God didn't save me, in truth, that night, I would never ever seek him again in my life. I knew that I had no capacity, mentally, emotionally, in any sincerity, to ever seek God again in my life, more than I was seeking him at that moment. And I knew if God didn't save me, I knew deep down I would never ever seek him again in my entire life. And that filled me with fear that perhaps God won't save me. I also knew something else that a good number of the people in that room, I believe, knew. I knew that if God didn't save me, I would die in wickedness and shame, and very, very shortly. I knew that. I had no doubt, and many had no doubt. There would be no possibility of this boy surviving in this world. How I had stayed alive until that age is incomprehensible. How God mercifully kept me alive. I knew I would die, and I knew I would never seek him again in my life if he didn't save me now, because I couldn't seek him more earnestly or honestly or desperately. When I stood up, the whole room was shopping. People had to be just walked out and helped out, the way I had prayed. The preacher, an old Scottish man who was dying himself, I didn't know that. I was the last soul on this earth, after the many multitudes he had led to Christ, of a life of serving Christ, this godly man knew that somehow this would be the last soul God would ever honor him to bring to Jesus Christ. He knew that. He knew that. I didn't know that of him, though. I looked at everyone weeping. But when I stood up, I was shaken. Something showed up in me that I began to tremble like a leaf, literally shaking in fear. You see, I felt nothing. I felt no emotion. I felt nothing had changed. I just felt a numbness. And all I could think was, surely, if God saved me, I have to feel something. I have to feel death. This is what was going on in my heart. And then I got another shock, a greater shock, as these thoughts were in my mind as God, the old Scottish minister, walked up to me, tears coming down his face, but with a gentle smile, he said, Keith, boy, it doesn't matter if you don't feel any different. It doesn't matter that you feel nothing. I looked at him and I thought, how could this man know what I was thinking? And I began to walk back in shock. How could he possibly know what I was thinking? Then he said something else as he walked towards me. He said, Keith, this is all that matters now. Nothing else matters, not feeling. My boy, I have led many souls to God in my life, and I think I have a little discernment. I never heard a man in my life pray like this, like you have tonight. I never, ever heard a man pray like this. And I believe a holy God cannot turn his face away from someone he died for, and he tasted death for every man, Keith, in this world. I cannot believe God has not saved you. In the little discernment I have, he could not turn his face away from a prayer like this. But now, Keith, it doesn't matter that you feel no different. Feelings are going to change daily. Feelings are going to change till the day you die. There is no way to measure people who measure their relationship with God by feelings go mental. They so work themselves up, they act like totally deranged people. You don't do that. You don't worry if you feel nothing. That's not salvation. Don't base your faith on your feelings. Don't base your life on your walk with the... It doesn't matter, Keith, if you never have another feeling till the day you die. This is what matters now. Listen, my boy. This is your source of survival once you're saved. It is your only source of survival. This is your hope, your only hope of survival from this day till the day you die. Now, Keith, listen carefully. I can guarantee you very little in this world, but I guarantee you this, the devil can't touch you. He cannot touch you. If you soak yourself in the Bible, if you soak every day of your life, your life is soaked in the Word of God as the greatest discipline, the most guarded, treasured, nurtured moment of every day of your life that nothing will hurry you from, that nothing will keep you from, no matter what the devil or man does, no matter who it is in the world, you will never ever divert from soaking yourself in the Word of God. Whenever you have a choice, Keith, of what to do with time, don't waste it on rubbish. And that's all it is if it keeps you from God's Word and it wasn't necessary. Redeem the time with this, Keith. Soak yourself in the Bible and you will never backslide. You will never go back to the things God has saved you from tonight, and I believe He has. Keith, I don't want to see you. If you don't, I don't want to see what the devil's going to do in spite of praying, as I've never heard a man pray in my life in such sincerity and earnestness. I don't want to see what Satan will do with you. If you neglect this book, don't ever neglect the Bible. Now, boy, you listen carefully to this old man. You listen carefully. You go home. You get on your knees. You get a pen, and you open this book. And don't you ever open this book, my boy, unless you get a pen. This is not an ordinary book. This is God's voice, God's words. God speaks through this more than anything else you will ever hear in life. And God will speak to you if you're saved in truth from the moment you open this book. It will become a blaze from God's heart or you're not saved. If this book doesn't grip your heart and enthrall you from this moment, you're not saved. This book becomes alive if you're saved. If it's not living and throbbing in your heart from this moment when you open it, you're not saved. There's no possibility. Keith, except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. He must be born again. That which is born of the flesh is flesh. That's your mother and father. You have been born again by God. You've become a child of God tonight. But Peter says in 1 Peter chapter 2, as newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby. If you're saved, there's one thing will happen. You desire, you earnestly desire and thirst after God's word and you will grow by the one thing God tells us. You will grow if you're his child. You open up to John, Keith. Now that you're saved, that is where someone who is born again will be most ministered to by the heart of God. You will remember this, Keith, till the day you die because if you are saved, you'll become a soul winner from today or you're not saved. You will seek to share what you've experienced if you're truly saved or you're not saved. And I expect and God expects that you will tell every soul you bring to Christ as I have helped you to come to Christ tonight, what I tell you the moment they truly save. Go to John. Go to John. Start in John chapter 1, Keith. Open it up to John 1. Take the pen and expect God's voice to your heart. And where God speaks, oh, it will become alive but you will find, Keith, in the living throbbing voice of God now, there will be what we call Rima, that is verses that are God's heart to you and that will start from tonight. It will be through your life, not every passage, though it's all thrilling and alive and vital if you're saved, Keith, there will be moments God will need to challenge you. God will need to direct you. God will need to rebuke you. God will need to give you faith when you're wounded, when all hell comes against you and it comes against every Christian. This book is your source of survival, Keith. Now you will mark where God speaks to your heart, where you know God is reasoning with you, God is communicating with you. It's you and God and you have no doubt and you will have no doubt if you're saved. As you go through this book, God's voice will come and penetrate through your life. Now, boy, you mark, don't think you'll always remember, you mark where God speaks to you. My boy, when you finish John, and only when you finish John, you start in Matthew. Don't jump around now for the rest of your life. You go from Matthew right through to Revelation, not jumping around. God is so sovereign, He knew how to put the order of this book in a vital way. And only when you've been through it many times, and you will be, Keith, if you're faithful, will you see the perfect sovereignty of God in the way, in the order that He has placed every single passage in every single book. You'll see something of the sovereign hand of God in this book more than anything in your life. And this will make you love this book and revere God more. And weigh up every word now, Keith. When you finish John, you start in Matthew. Mark, Luke, John, right through to Revelation. When you are finished the New Testament through once, you go to the Old Testament. But you never, ever neglect the New for the Old, or you'll be back in the Law. The Old is two-thirds of the Bible. It's vital. God doesn't make two-thirds of His book just historical records. It's vital as the New Testament. But don't neglect the New for the Old, or you'll be back in the Law. Now, you won't understand the full capacity of God's heart through the New Testament and Revelation of God's heart to mankind through the New Testament. You won't grasp even a tip of it, though it will thrill you if you're saved, unless you soak yourself in the Old Testament equally. But only when you've been through the New Testament. Now, Keith, you get through the New Testament faster than the Old, but that doesn't matter. Just keep plodding. Now, my boy, you read three chapters of the New. You put a mark every day, never less, often more. Three chapters, you'll be through the Bible once in one year. Three chapters will take you fifteen minutes. Slow reading, Keith. If you can't give God in twenty-four hours fifteen minutes with His Word, shame on you. You waste your life on rubbish if you can't find time for God's Word if you're saved. The source of survival, three chapters, Keith. That's all God wants, fifteen minutes. That's slow reading, apart from Psalm 119, which is pretty long, but the rest generally let me assure you, you will, slow reading, in fifteen minutes, get through the Bible once. If you haven't given God fifteen minutes at the end of this year, you won't have been through. You waste it. Don't tell me, don't lie to yourself and say it's not possible. Fifteen minutes is gloriously possible. Anything less is pretty impossible if you have any insincerity with God. Now, Keith, give three chapters in the morning. That's Matthew 1, 2, and 3. Put a mark for tomorrow morning. The night, Genesis 1, 2, and 3. Oh, my! Fifteen minutes in the morning, fifteen minutes in the night. Many people will feel their martyrs doing that. No, Keith, you can give God fifteen minutes in the night. And you do that through your life, Keith. Never less, often more. Get through this book, and I can assure you, I know people who have been through this book thousands of times. You won't believe that until you start reading properly, how possible it is. Well, now, Keith, go home. Get the pen, get on your knees, go to John and start. Because what you don't start immediately, when you've been given life, you will never start. You start it now. I went home. He put this book in my hand, the old King James, these and thous, you know, that everybody can't understand. Goodness me. Well, I went home, and I opened up now, John. And then I took the pen, I got on my knees at John, and I began to read. In the beginning was the Word, capital W. Now, in my limited knowledge, I think that's how Genesis starts, if I remember. In the beginning, God created the heaven and the earth. Now, here, in the beginning was the Word, capital. I said, well, I don't understand this these and thous. Never did. But he said, I will grasp. And this is the Bible he put in my hand. So, let me try. In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by Him, and without Him was not anything made that was made. In Him was life, and the life was the light of men, and the light shineth in darkness, and the darkness comprehended it not. There was a man sent from God whose name was John. The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the light, that all men through him might believe. He was not that light, but was sent to bear witness of that light. That was the true light which lighted every man that cometh into the world. He was in the world, and the world was made by Him, and the world knew Him not. He came unto His own, and His own received Him not. But as many as received Him, to them gave He the power to become the sons of God, even to them which were born not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, which were born not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, and we held His glory. The glory is of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth. The Word was made flesh in the beginning with the Word. Capital W, the Word was with God. The Word was God, verse 14, and the Word was made flesh. God was made flesh. Great is the mystery of godliness. God was manifest in the flesh. Jesus was God, manifest in the flesh. Oh, and I read, and I read, and I read, and eventually I thought, oh, every single verse on every single page I've marked, every single verse on every single page, burst into my heart, gripped me that I couldn't stop, tears wiped away, not marked with pen at places, but more with tears. It was so enthralling me. It was so enlightening me of the heart of God, the values of God, what God has done. It was not the Bible translation with these and those that was the problem. It was me. You see, the natural man, God says, the unconverted, unregenerate man cannot discern. He cannot receive God's Word, the things of God. But the spiritual man, the capital, the moment, the Holy Spirit of God is in you, see, the letter killeth as it stands. It's just a page and book like anything. Ink, it's nothing more than that, unless the Holy Spirit is in you. The letter killeth, yes, but the Spirit giveth life. The moment God, the Holy Ghost, is in you, this book becomes alive. This book becomes understandable. And thank God for my soul, he put the King James, the most reverential translation there is where you know you have to do with God, not some familiarity where you can joke by God's Word. Once you take away the reverential fear of God, even the translation you use, you'll find men are jokers in the Bible. They're jokers in the pulpit. They draw people by their humor rather than by the authority and the presence of God through the Word of God that's reverential. Oh, I thank God for that. I read on. Suddenly I looked up. The sun was shining. I'd read through the whole night. I didn't feel tired. Don't try this too fast. Too many times you might get too tired. But I didn't feel tired. I have to go to work. I haven't slept. Never done that in my life. Joe, I go to work in this vehicle. And we're driving. And as we're driving, I thought to myself, how beautiful are these trees? How beautiful is the sky? I'd never ever thought that in my life that I honestly remember everything looks so beautiful. And then I looked at people all waiting for their vehicles, people to pick them up, take them to work or school. And I looked at them for the first time. How many of them are going to hell? They don't know what I've experienced. Look at this man. He's so sorrowful. It looks like he's been crushed by life. He doesn't know God. And I began to pray. God save that somehow the gospel reach him as it's reached me. I got to work. The tea bell rings, 15 minutes. And they started coming to me, all the fellows. I said, no ways. And I took the book and ran to behind those rooms. I had 15 minutes for God's word. I don't want to waste it with people. Nothing has enthralled me in my entire life like this. Lunchtime, one hour. They didn't come too fast. They thought, what's he going to do now? And I just took the book and fled. One hour that God is giving me. And all this working that I can't be reading the thing that I'm craving, thirsting, longing. Nothing has ever made me feel so clean. Nothing has ever made me feel so in the presence of God. Nothing's ever made me so conscious in my life of a God that loves me, that's communicating with my heart. Every verse, God speaking to me, teaching me, enlightening me, thrilling me. Because I've never been enthralled in my life with anything. Anywhere the devil gave me in the devil's houses. I never knew this joy. I never knew this enthrallment. Oh, 46 years later. I do not know of one day in 46 years where I chose anything unless the Holy Spirit said to me in my heart and impressed in my heart and conscience, this I want you to do. This you need to do. I never neglected my children. I never neglected my wife. I never neglected my work. Before I even went out to seminar and then to God's recall, I started never neglecting what was essential when I didn't neglect this book. I did what was expected with my whole being and I didn't steal time from my boss or telephone call from my boss. No, I didn't neglect suddenly because I didn't neglect this book. 46 years, I don't remember a day. God be my witness that I can and God forgive me if I'm not correct. That if I had any choice, I didn't hesitate. I fled with this book. I have been through this book many, many, many, many times. Many, many, many, many, many times. Let me shock you. Let me shock you. If you want to know if you're right with God, Christians, in one moment, there's only one way. There's no two ways to know if you're right with God. There's one way. In the old days, they took the pulse if there was thought to be something wrong. And a doctor of any intelligence would know within seconds whether there's something radically wrong or if you are right. You want to take the pulse today? I dare you to. You are right with God if this book is first and foremost in your life, the greatest discipline of your life that nothing will divert you from and no one, nothing will divert you from when you should be with this book. This book makes everything, everything lose its drawing power. The more you read it, the less you can be attracted to anything, to even make a choice. That is vital. You know, Psalm 1 was put there because God wanted you to read that before any other Psalm. Trust me, you have no right to read the lovely promises of the rest of the Psalms unless you read Psalm 1 and done it. Be you doers of the word, not hearers, only deceiving your own selves. Reading a book just to let tickling feelings don't dare do it. Psalm 1 is there because unless you've done it and live this, the rest of the Psalms are not for you, sir, to jump around looking for lovely promises in your dilemmas and to make life just simple for you. No, listen to this word, blessed. I like the word blessed. They tell me that the newer translations of which I don't touch, they tell me the word there is happy. Full stop. That that's the translation in today's language, happy. Now, I want to disagree with people about this version. I'll tell you why. I know many, many, many multitudes of sinners in wickedness who are happy. They're not all out there weeping, oh, I'm in sin. Trust me. But they don't know this, God's happiness. My peace, give I unto you, not as the world giveth, give I unto you. The joy of the Lord is a joy. Let me tell you that you have no comprehension of until you experience it, that is beyond comprehension and nothing in a billion miles can compare with the joy of the Lord. This is God's peace that comes. This is God's joy. This is not what the world gives you. There you always land up weeping some way. If you're not yet, you will be. Trust me. Even as you stand there, even a laugh to the heart is sorrowful to someone living in sin. It's all one big lie because there's nothing. Oh, blessed, this is God's. Blessed is the man that comes out in a meeting. When he hears the gospel, he kneels, he prays the sinner's prayer, he gets up, he walks out, he has a testimony, I was saved there. He goes to prayer meetings, he goes to youth meetings, oh, he goes to church now. Oh, blessed, such a blessing. No, God doesn't say that. That's one big lie. Most people who do that look cursed. If not in the church, through hypocrisy, go to their homes or their work. No. Is this your life or is that your life? Because that's not blessed. Blessed, God says, is the man who does this. And until this, you will never have written on your life by God that every soul on earth that knows you will see this written by the hand of a holy God written. If it's true, every soul beginning in your home to your worst enemy will acknowledge that God has written this of blessedness across your life. Blessed is the man, God says, that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly. He will never be influenced by the ungodly to do ungodly things again. Never. Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the influence to be influenced by the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners. He will never go where sinners go for their happiness again in his life. Nor sit in the seat of the scornful. What does that mean? The scorn of the lights in his scorn, you see. In its context, those who scorn, those who truly get saved, not who have a testimony, not who become religious, not who, with all their religion, are the same as those people out there in the workplace or at school or anywhere when it comes to sin or compromise of the world. No. But they scorn those who separate themselves from evil. They scorn those who separate themselves with fear from that which you lose your right to even say you belong to Jesus if you once attend or go to the devil's houses or feast at the devil's table from the devil's food that he gives to satisfy his children. You never will seek those things again and you will get scorned within the churches. There's not a church on earth where you won't find scorners with the youth groups when one person goes right through with God. They will scorn the scorner in its context of those who are godly. Those who aren't religious but godly and they will scorn you young people the day you mean business with God that even the way you dress people will know you really have a conservative modesty. That is written across your heart. That didn't save you. That doesn't mean you're saved. Don't put the cart before the horse. No, but that comes by the places you go, the books you read, the music you listen to. Don't doubt it. You will be scorned. Oh, blessed is the man that walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sit in the seat of the scornful. You will never, ever associate from then onwards with those who scorn those who would be holy, young or old. No matter how many friends they lose in one moment, they will seek God in truth and not walk in defiance of the life they've given of what a child of God should be or doing or where he's going. No, this man that God will bless doesn't delight in what sinners the scorner delights in his scorning. These people delight in evils, evil places, evil. Oh, this, no. His delight, God says in the next verse, is in the law of the Lord. Now, that word, delight, in the Hebrew word that says, is all-consuming singular delight, not one of his delights. This word in the Hebrew means, literally, all other delights that you could ever think fail into insignificance. They have no drawing power, nothing the devil can offer on that box can draw you away from this, if he's right with God. His delight, his all-consuming singular delight, is the law of the Lord. In his law doth he meditate. That cancels out rush because there's nothing you want to rush to because nothing ever enthralls you or fulfills you more than this when you're right with God. In his law doth he meditate, day and night. Not all day, not all night, but let me tell you, whenever you have a choice, you have a choice. You have a choice in life. You don't hesitate. You see, the more you read this book, the more you want to read it. Soak yourself in the Bible and there's nothing that you will ever be attracted to or drawn if you soak yourself as you ought to be because there's nothing. Everything else loses its significance. That isn't vital. That isn't what God would have you do. It loses its drawing power that you become repulsed, not so much if it's sinful or evil, but it's keeping you from God's word. The one thing that will keep you from going back to sin, that's the sin of wasting your time with rubbish. When you haven't given God enough time here, who now governs God's promise? There's always a condition to every promise God has given in the Bible. That's the condition. Listen to the promise now. God says he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water. He shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water. Oh, we have semi-deserts in Africa. Sometimes you travel for hours and the heat and the lack of rain and the dry crust and every single vegetation and tree that tried in their millions is dead. They made an effort to live, to survive, but they couldn't. You, one man said to me, but they are alive. It just needs another rainfall. No, get out. Let's come. Take it. Pow, pow, pow to the roots. It's dead. It tried. It made an effort, but it couldn't survive. Now you drive along that semi-desert and suddenly you see a tall row of trees, green leaves grow one long. It doesn't make, take much intelligence to know why. There's a river. The same circumstances, the same heat. He shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, God says, or God lies. This is God's side and a holy God will do this to you, where others give up, where others fade away, where others are just destroyed, who try to make some effort. You will never. God says, he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers that bringeth forth his fruit in his season. His leaves shall not wither. Whatsoever he doeth shall prosper. That is not speaking about financial prosperity. That is of the devil. When a man stands up and preaches that, run! Run! You don't come to God to prosper. That's blasphemy. No wonder they come in their millions across poverty-stricken Africa. When they're told, come to Jesus, you'll prosper. No wonder in their millions they hate God and man, who preached that to them and said, that's salvation, when they find they're not out of poverty. Don't you dare start preaching poverty. This is speaking about prospering spiritually, the whole context. And that's all that matters to God. You leave the rest to him. And he'll provide not your wants, but your needs. And brother, you'll be stunned what you need is so little to be happy. Don't you tell God to become rich. I'll follow thee. No ways. But this is what God promises to those who soak themselves in the word of God day and night, wherever they have a choice. I was in a meeting once. This has gone softer. Could you please put it louder, because I don't want to hold it so close. I was in a meeting once, where a man stood in the pulpit, an old man, and he shouted, as he held his book up, this is a waste of time. This is worthless. Don't waste your time, please. This is worthless. This can do nothing for you, young man. I'm not lying anymore, he said. I'm going to be the honest and truthful. Don't waste your time with this, young man. It's worthless. It can do nothing for your life. Now people began to get upset. Oh my, the man sitting in front of me, he was like a thermometer. He started getting red, coughing, getting up. How can a man stand in the pulpit saying, with the Bible, this is... But then he shook us. The old man then opened the Bible. And he said, wait now. Wait now. This is different. This will make you holy, young man. This will keep you from sin, young lady. This will enable you to walk with God. What have you got? Oh, it's no good having this next to your bed. It's no good coming down the street to the church for this. This can do nothing for you. What do you have, most of your life, when you have a choice? Most of your day, your night. This? Worthless. Or this, that will make you holy. What do you have? Be honest with God just once in your life, he said. Have you got something next to you, as if you're religious and right, that's totally worthless to you? Or are you walking with God as a result of it being open all the time, wherever you can, and see how God enables you to keep kept. Oh, sin will keep me from the Bible. But the Bible will keep me from sin. I believe that with all my heart. The Bible will keep me from sin. I met a man who said he had read through the Bible 426 times. He was old. My wife told me, so I went to him. He was dying. He died that day when I went in. I said, my wife said that you had mentioned that you've been through the Word of God 426 times. I said, that is wonderful, sir. That's a wonderful testimony. Because most Christians that I've met haven't been through the Bible once, even if they say 40 years. Books about the Bible, but not the Bible. I said, that's wonderful. This dying man looked at me and said these words, brother, why are you surprised that I've read through, that someone could read through the Bible. It's impossible not to have read through the Bible so many times. If you've been saved as many years as I have. It's utterly impossible, unless you wasted your life with trash. What do you want to call it? Give a better name for it if it kept you from the one thing that matters as a Christian. From the day you're saved to the day you die, there's nothing more vital for your survival than the meditating of the Word of God. There's nothing that can come within a hundred miles. True prayer is the result of meditating the Word of God. You don't even know how to pray in the Spirit. You think it's some other language. Try and work yourself up. If you can't get truth, no. But when you soak yourself in the Bible, you pray with the heart of God in faith. For faith comes by the Word of God. And to the degree you soak yourself in the Word of God, you have faith. And you find yourself clinging to the promises of God and crying out. The result of this book is prayer. Outside of that, you don't really know how to pray, apart from Christ's prayer, when you really have to pray. Otherwise, you won't be driven. But this book drives you to pray as you ought to. I have met men, women, who've read through the book over a thousand times. One after the other. And every one of them, their faces sigh. I see them coming. And I look at their Bible. Every one of them, their Bibles are in tatters. And I know why their faces shine as they come out with all the others with Bibles that are not worn out. In America, I was preaching in a town where suddenly I was conscious that I was staying in the home of a very godly woman. Her name was Delight. Delight Spora. Her and her husband are very godly. Now they have a lot of children. In America, you don't have children, you have families. You have tribes, sorry. Well, that's how it goes. This lady and her husband had a little tribe. They are populating the world with Christians. Anyway, one of the children's names was Packy. That wasn't his real name. I believe it was just his nickname. Packy. Just a little fellow. Small. Twelve, I think he was. And I delighted in all these children in the home while I stayed there and preached. But I didn't realize I wouldn't be back in that town for many years. So, I'm off. And I preach every year across America for ten weeks, year after year. This is the 28th tour I've done of America to many hundreds of thousands of people. God's given me that right. Always in deeply conservative pulpits where this is all that matters. An uncompromised, fearless presentation of the word of God that stands with no apology for what God says. To try and not offend sinners. So, I have been in those pulpits. Years go by. I'm in a place called International Falls on the border of Canada, somewhere up there. Now, I had to go back to this town where Packy, all those children, this godly delight spore and their husband. I was asked to come back and preach after a number of years. They said to me, which I always fly, it's very seldom I'll ever come back on. Unless it's just a waste of time because it's so close to the next state where I'm going. They said to me, they'll send someone up to fetch me because by the time I get to the airport and that takes me to another airport that will link up, it will take so much longer, it will just take a few hours and you'll be down faster. So, after the meeting in International Falls the last night, someone will be coming up from our town, our state, and fetching you and you'll drive and you'll be here for the meeting the next night. Well, who should be there but little Packy, this little fellow, grown up. Now he's 17. In America you get licenses at 17. The rest of the world will jail you. If you're 17 in a car, how are you people? You people must be highly intelligent and your children very much better than ours, but the rest of the world would never, ever allow that. Anyway, 17, now he's driving. It's Packy. So, Packy gets in the car after the service and, oh, hello, you've grown. Now we start driving. In the next few hours, I said to God, if I came across the whole world to just sit in this car with this boy, I would do it if I knew what I know now. I was so enthralled with this young man pouring, have you ever read the Bible where it says, rivers of living water? Oh, I haven't seen that all that much. This boy was so alive, spiritually, so sharp, so discerning of the word of God, which is vital, he had memorized, and he was ablaze for God, for the things of God. So a fire that I sat there was like someone igniting me with fire. I didn't talk much. I just sat there marveling. I don't remember this boy being this bloody. I remember you pass a thousand, perhaps 10,000 young Christian fellows in homes and churches, and you will find this. I was amazed at this boy's fire for God and discernment in the things that matter and the word of God burning as a... I get there, I start preaching. Every single preacher in the entire community was in the meeting, and it was a great big auditorium. Now, afterwards, I shared about this pachy, this delight-sporous young boy, one of which was, he told me, and he's ablaze for God. It's seldom I've ever been so enthralled and blessed in the presence of any Christian and hear this boy. Oh, I was so blessed. And as one minister in front of the presence of other preachers said these words, Brother Keith, there is no Christian in the entire community that is being used more mightily by God, no preacher, no evangelical preacher, no one that is being used by God so mightily as this young boy pachy. It's like when he walks out of the door into this world and community, the powers of hell tremble because God just speaks through him in a way none of us, none of us, God is using. He is the most used Christian in this entire community. God is with him in such a remarkable way. As young as he is, I said that to his mother, what they were saying, and I said, oh, I believe it's true. She hung her head down, delight-sporous, and said these words, by the grace of God, he is that. And I worship God daily for it. But, Brother Keith, do you want to know why pachy is? Do you want to know why pachy is what he is? I said, yes. He said, Brother, when you were last in this town, the last sermon you preached, you preached about your minister who led you to Christ. Please, even if there is something going on there, don't look, just keep here for the last few minutes, please. You said, how your minister said, this is your source of survival. You said, how he said, three chapters in the morning, you'll be through the Bible in one year. Three in the night, twice in a year. That means, in ten years, you're through the Bible twenty times. If you just give God thirty minutes a day, fifteen minutes in the morning, fifteen minutes in the night. You give God an hour, half an hour in the morning, half an hour in the night, you're through the Bible forty times. In ten years. In twenty years, eighty times. That's just half an hour in the morning, half an hour in the night. Give God an hour in the morning with the word of God, an hour in the night, and how many hundreds of times after twenty, thirty, forty years? Hundreds of times. You give God the time he's due, you'll be stunned how you can get through. We walked out as a family, brother. And as we walked out, my little Paki, that little boy, looked up at me and said, Mother, I'm going to do what this preacher said, from tonight. Oh, that's good, Paki. A few months went by, after you left, I go into where his little room is, in the barn, where all the boys are sleeping, above the barn. And I see him on his knees, with a pen, and I looked over, and I said, oh Paki, you're reading the same chapter Mother read this morning in my quiet time. Are you doing what the local preacher said, that the system of all over the place, and we get through the Bible once in a year? No, Mother, I'm not doing that. I'm doing what that South African man said. Oh, so you're trying to get through the Bible in one year though, once in a year? No, Mother. This is my third time through the Bible this year, Mother. Brother, that was a few months after you left. Now Paki didn't neglect his duties, his schooling, his chores. He didn't neglect and hibernate. We began to worry about him getting too serious. This boy has been through the Bible so many times since you left, that there's no Christian in this community that I know that's been anywhere near. They're all just walking in shock. And a boy, he's 17 years old. He's been through the Bible so many times, but brother, we noticed something. Of all the children, he just shone. Of all the children, he glowed. And like you say, rivers of living water flowing. He never did that before. His whole personality was changed. Suddenly everything was just gone. And yes, the entire community is trembling when he walks out of the door. No other Christian can say that of their lives. And he's not offending people, brother. He's bringing into Christ more than any preacher in this community. That's why Paki is what he is, brother. He did what your preacher told you to do. I was once preaching similar things. I preached many things of the Word of God. And at the end of the meeting, as all the people were leaving, there was an Italian man. And he screamed with a very loud but Italian accent and very emotionally, How dare you? I can't quite get the Italian accent right. How dare you? I looked at him and everybody knew he was angry with me. Everybody just stood shocked. Now he was angry. I hope nobody does this to me tonight. You whip us, telling us these hours we must spend with the Word of God. Brother, you're a preacher. You can spend a whole day with the Bible. Come in the real world, man. We have things to do. We have responsibilities you don't have. Come into my shoes for one week. You'll never preach this again in your life. I have three businesses, this man says. There's a world recession. Listen, brother, I have to keep these people working. It's my responsibility. And I have to work hard. There's no such a thing as the hours that you're speaking about. Now, brother, you come in the real world and you stop preaching this. And don't make us all walk out of here crawling because we can't live what you do because you're a preacher and have all the time in the world. Now he's screaming. Everybody's listening. He made sure everybody heard. And then I raised my voice. The only way to make him stop. I said, you're a liar. You're a terrible, terrible liar. What? Oh, you're a preacher. How dare you? Listen, what sort of a preacher is calling me a liar? How dare you? Oh, he was angry now. Red and the veins sticking up and screaming. Oh, no one ever dared to speak to me like this. You're a preacher. What sort of a preacher are you? It's Christianity. I said, sir, you're such a good liar that you're actually believing your own lie. Because deep in your heart, I'm asking you to look me in the eyes and tell me you don't know you're lying. Sir, when God is first in your life and not before, this book is first before anything and nothing will ever make it second place any day. That's how you know God's first. And, sir, you will find all the time you need if you put God first. You'll find more time than I'm asking of you for this book when God is first. You'll be stunned when you don't give hours to things that don't matter. They're just trash. And let me tell you one other thing, sir. You might have to throw your businesses away and lose your businesses. Because it's not God's will that your businesses don't give you the time I spoke. Then sell the businesses because you'll be sending them to hell anyway. If you don't soak yourself in the Bible, you're doing nothing good for their souls. You'll be keeping them from heaven until you do what I say. Don't you dare tell me your life will win them to God or you have any further responsibility than that as a Christian before you start thinking of their well-being. Well, you don't walk with God and you cannot walk with God unless you do this. And, sir, until you do this daily, you will never walk with God in your entire life. I don't doubt you're saved. I'm not questioning your salvation. But you will never know what it is to walk with God and you will die in poverty though you're saved of what you could have been for God and known the sight of heaven. Well, a few years went by. One day I was in some big auditorium with a great, some great commission. This Italian man walks up to me with a loud voice, Brother Keith Daniel. Big Bible. Do you remember me? Something like that. Okay. Oh, yes, I remember you. So he walks up to me and now tears are coming down his face. He took me by the hands and the arms and he began to weep. He said, Brother, no man ever spoke to me in my life like that. No one dared to. But, Brother, I was angry with you. Oh, you made me angry the way you spoke to me. I went back and all the way home with my wife and children. I was screaming the whole way home. The madmen, how dare you? They just all looked out the window, scared to even look at me. I get home, I get to bed. Everybody falls asleep, but I can't sleep. I'm still angry, telling God what a terrible man this is, what a terrible man. How dare you? I couldn't sleep. So after a long while of arguing and not being able to sleep, I thought to myself, well, what if he's right? What if I am lying? If I could, if I don't ever know what it is to walk with, if I'm sending the people that work for me to hell, trying to be busy, but I have no time for God's work, what if he's right? What if I'm lying to myself? But I can do this. I can't sleep. I may as well read the Bible. So, Brother, what did I do? I got the Bible. I got a pen. I opened it, John. And I began to read. And, Brother, as I read, I began to weep. And the more I read, the more I wept. And the more I read, the more I wanted to read. And I read and wept and mocked and mocked and mocked. I'd never given God more than five, six verses a day, and I thought, that's it. I was giving him chapters. In the end, Brother, I looked up, the sun was shining. I'd read through the whole night, and I hadn't tried to emulate you. I forgot about you by that time. I was just enthralled with the Word of God, because the more you read, the more you want to read, the more you have to. My eyelids prevent the night watches for love of thy word. Oh, I'm tired, but I've got to get more. David says in Psalm 119, the longest book in the Bible, which is 90% telling you why you have to read the Word of God to survive. And what God holds in esteem above all other things that you could ever attain in life is soaking yourself in the Word of God. He said, Brother, I have read through the Bible so many times, and he told me, and I was stunned in these few years. And Brother, I have started leading the people who work for me to God. None of them ever came to God before. They just come to God. And Brother, I find twice as much time as you said as possibly, since I have put things down that I didn't need to be doing. And another thing, Brother Daniel, I thank God there's one preacher in this entire world that would speak to a man like you spoke to me and not be fear of offending, because, Brother, I would have died saved, but never, ever having known what I know now, I walk with God. I never did before, though I knew I was saved. I am walking with God. There are two types of Christians in this world. Not five, the great Spurgeon, the greatest preacher in history, they say, oratory and homiletically, but he will always have ten points. Spurgeon had to. He was the greatest preacher. But if you have to be honest, those ten points can be bring down to two. There are only two types of Christians in the entire world. You're one of the two. Which one are you? The first, the one who soaks himself in the Bible every day of his life as the greatest love, the greatest longing, the greatest discipline, the most protected, nurtured moment of every day of his life that nothing will hurry him from, that nothing can. And the other doesn't. They are so different that you won't believe they're from the same planet, let alone the same religion, though both are saved. Which one are you? Let me shock you now. What you do from this night is what you're going to do for the rest of your life. So be careful how you walk away from what God holds out to you, giving you the answer you need. Now I'm going to really shock you all. I don't make appeals very easily, but I'm going to ask every one of you, no matter who you are, who sit here and your sin is not all these things you come to God saying, forgive me and help me. Your greatest sin, that's the cause of these other sins that will go on in the rest of your life until you deal with one sin, this sin, neglecting God, because when you neglect the word, you neglect God. God is second place for other things that you have more time and more attention to, more attention to, more desire to. You need to come to God, and you need to come to God in shame, and you need to come to God for mercy and cleansing in the blood, though you're saved. For the sin, that is the reason of every other sin you are continually finding, the cause is this sin. And until you deal with this and make this your life, you will go into defeat. You know, I don't care how shaped you are with the things that you think are the things God needs to deal with when this is what God needs to deal with. You need to ask God for mercy for neglecting Him, by neglecting that book, for putting Him second or tenth, that you got the order of all the things you would do before you go to that book, and sometimes you won't give Him one minute, because you put the order of everything, even fellowship, which cannot be true fellowship unless you soak in the Bible. And you need to ask God for cleansing in the blood, and you need to ask God from your soul for forgiveness for this terrible wickedness that you've allowed in your life, and the grief you have been to God and man, because that's what you are, and I dare you to stand up and tell Him you're not beginning anew if you are guilty of this. And you need to ask God for grace, grace that's beyond you, that from this night till the day you die, you'll be enabled by God's grace, through your free will, but by His grace to never neglect the Bible again till you die, so that you can walk with God and stagger the powers of hell like that 17-year-old boy did above every Christian in the town when he did this. I want to ask every one of you that desperately need to ask God for forgiveness, for cleansing in the blood for the grief you have caught Him and man by this sin, and in repentance to come to God as Christians and ask Him for the grace that from this night by Thy grace and Thy grace alone, but I will endeavor for that grace to be given me. I will never neglect Thy word again Lord, beginning tonight, and I want to ask every one of you that desperately, desperately need to cry that prayer to God now to stand right now, but only stand if you desperately want to before God. Oh, it'll cost you, won't it? It'll cost you so dearly if you don't, because I doubt God will ever confront you again in your entire life, if you're too proud to stand up now and say this is it, this is the reason I'm not what I should be. Now everyone standing, there's too many to say come out to the altar, no. Just bow your heads and listen carefully to me. God does not look at the words that proceed out of the mouth. He looks at the heart from whence they come. It doesn't matter what you say, but if it's from your heart as best as you can, that's good enough for God. Don't listen to the devil. Don't believe God will turn away his face and say I'm not interested in this. He's more long for this than you are, a billion times more because he knows the consequences. And I don't want you to just pray a prayer because it's me saying a prayer. I want you to pray this from your heart as best as you can. Multitudes of Christians and preachers across this world prayed this prayer about this particular thing, and multitudes have contacted me to say from that time their life was in victory, their ministry was effected, souls were coming, they were anointed. I believe with all my heart God honors this prayer, and so I ask every one of you that has any fear of God that's standing to pray in sincerity from your heart. Follow after me, but pray aloud please. Will you pray aloud please, but not to each other, but to God from your heart as best as you can, for God is in the heart. Will you pray aloud with me please? Oh my God, I come before thee in shame, in sorrow, in grief for this terrible sin that is the sole reason of all the other sins that are just so continually in my life. Forgive me, forgive me God for putting thee behind first place, sometimes way behind other positions of things I do. What a terrible evil, what a terrible grief I am to thee and to men because of this sin. Forgive me by the blood of Jesus Christ, God's Son that cleanseth us, born again Christians from all sin, if we confess, if we turn and we look in the light that God has given us. Oh God, I pray that the blood of Jesus the Christ, God's Son will cleanse away all the failures that I have overlooked to confess in true repentance that are in my life because of this sin that I have tolerated so long. Give me a clean start, a fresh plate because of my faith in nothing but the blood of Jesus Christ. Let the blood go deeper, wash me through and through and through and through and through and through. Create in me a clean heart, oh God, and renew a right spirit within me, a steadfast, consistent, walking in the light I have been given, most especially the light I have heard of tonight and embrace with all my heart till I die. I lay my life on the fresh, on the altar of God, take my life, let it be consecrated, Lord, to thee, take my moments, my days, oh God, what's left of my life, have it for thyself, most especially the time I need to give thy word. For nothing of any worth will ever be in my life to anyone else on earth, beginning with me, that is not the result of unhurried time, meditating, feeding off the word of God. Man shall not live by bread alone, once he's saved there's another food, but by every word that proceeded out of the mouth of God, for me to stay alive and strong and to be renewed day by day, there's only one way, feeding of the word of God, thy word have I hid within my heart, that I might not sin against thee. Wherewithal shall a young man cleanse his way, by taking heed according to thy word, I have desired thy word more than my necessary food, because when I neglect the word of God, I become weak and I fail, every step I take in the end. But if I feed from God's word, daily, I will grow and the fruit of God's spirit will be seen in me more and more, because God promised it, and I don't doubt God's promise, so long as I do what he says and fulfill the conditions. And by thy grace, and thy grace alone, from this night to the day I die, I will endeavor to never neglect the word of God again, no matter what it costs me, no matter what I have to stop or throw out of my life to fulfill this, I ask for grace to do it. That I may walk with God and bring this world to Christ, not with my testimony from my lips, but through my life, that will give me the right to testify from my lips. In Jesus Christ's name, for his sake, Amen. This prayer does not make you sinlessly perfect. All this will do what you did tonight, will place you in position to grow. Before, I guarantee you it's ups and downs, more downs than ups if you're honest, but this will put you positionally in the hand of God, in the direction of God, in the pursuit of God, that you will grow consistently, more and more and more, as you show yourself in the book. There's no such thing as total perfection until you die, as you die you're totally perfected, until then you grow, and you grow 99% as the reason, no matter what other reasons God puts into your circumstances in the school of God, 99% of your growth is the result of this discipline. Don't deprive yourself of 99% of what God wants you to do, you daily. Just neglect this book and you will, you ask God for grace, I have met multitudes across the world, I have met multitudes of preachers who email, write, phone from across the world to say, from that prayer brother, I have walked with God, I have found victory over sins that I never thought God would ever deliver me from, and I have led souls to God, from that time. Now there's one other question, a staggering question, but it's essential, are you saved? If you're not saved, all the reading of the Bible won't do a thing for you, you have to have the Holy Spirit in you. Now I don't do this often, but I do it on occasions, and by God's grace, 90 something percent of every soul that ever responded, and there are many multitudes of thousands across this world, but from what I can gather from the preachers and those who organize the meetings and people who've written to me and phoned and reported, 90 something percent of everybody that ever responded, never backslid. So I'm asking you just once, just once, is there time or not? Is there time? Pardon? Good, sorry, I thought I was doing something wrong, forgive me. If you're not saved, and trust me, this might be the last time God ever confronts you, be careful here, no matter who you are, and you would require God to save your soul tonight, someone will pray with you, ladies and ladies and men with men, and you would seek God to save you that you can live this from tonight with the knowledge you've got. Then I'm asking you to put your hand up right now and say, I'm not saved. That's a courage, thank you. No one else? Yes. Anyone else? It takes courage. Thank you. Any more? That would say God from tonight, my life is yours. For those who have their hands up, don't worry about anybody else, only God matters. No one will judge you. They'll only respect you. Those of you with your hands up right now at this time, and I hope there is, will you please go right out that door into that auditorium in the hall next door. Will you go right now? And would, about, yes, you've got to go, go, don't go for anyone else. Brother, you are on this church, make sure there's woman with woman, don't ever let a man be with a woman, even if it's a little girl. But someone is a soul winner. And men with men. They won't preach another sermon to you, they're just going to pray, pointing you to Jesus Christ, blood, death, and living resurrected power to be received. And then the rest you know already. You don't have to be instructed another word. And then they will phone you, they will keep contact with you if they're soul winners. And they'll make sure you never neglect it. Did you pray through, did you read the Bible? How many chapters? They won't let you backslide. I thank you from my heart. The first time I ever made an appeal in my life was in a prison. Two hundred souls responded. To this day not one has backslidden. Most of them were murderers, by the way. Many had murdered their own fathers. To our knowledge, from the social workers, the authorities, it is not known of one that ever went back to sin, a life of sin. God saves. Now, we're going to have a short prayer. Those of you that need to wait for those boys, they won't be long. They don't have to preach another sermon to them. And they have their address. And you have a very good pastor here. Thank God for him, my boys. Thank God you're coming to a man that I've become aware is a very rare man as I travel. Uncompromising and longing for souls to get truth. And to be led in the ways of God. Don't neglect while you're here to come under his ministry. I mean that from my soul for your well-being, for no other reason. The same with the girls. This is one lovely man of God. And you people might not have throngs overflowing because there's wild entertainment. And shallowness and no uncomfort or discomfort because of the preaching against him. You might not have a pastor like that, but thank God you've got this pastor. It's not numbers where God is these days. It's the remnant according to the Bible in the last days that will even want the truth. So you stand with him and don't you criticize him. For God's sake. Now don't forget here, if you want to put your name and address down to pray. And you will pray. And you'll do the best you can by the grace of God to remember when you get the newsletter. Not hours just of praying. As you see where I am, I'll be grateful. And there are newsletters for every one of you that would like to take them. And just pray through this tour. Even if you don't put your name and address down there, you can at least pray daily for the tour. Knowing where I am, I'd be grateful and honored if you did that. I met this good man. A Messianic Jew. That worked with your pastor in the police force for a long time. And was instrumental to, in many ways, discipline. Your pastor and the essentials that you heard tonight even. Now brother, I want you to commit us to God. And I want you to commit those who are seeking God right now. And everyone that stood. But could I ask you to do what I don't do? Could you bend that sword? I mean that, but I would be grateful for something precise. And that we all can say amen to. Because when they say amen, brother, there's two or three of you agree. Touching anything that's the will of my father in heaven. In my name it shall be done. That's why we say amen. Do it God, we agree. There's more than two or three of you. So we all cry to God from our heart, do it. Whatever you pray. Would you do that? And then we are dismissed. And thank you from my heart. In the name of Jesus. Blessed be your name, O Holy One of Israel. Yeshua Adonai. Jesus Lord. Our Messiah. God Messiah. Blessed be your name, O Lord. My God. My King. My Savior. We thank you Lord for this evening. And how your word came forth tonight. Such power and might. In such a way that we could all understand. And take within us. Lord, please help us to digest it. And continually bring it up in our lives. The oaths that we made within ourselves this evening Lord. To dive into your word. Even a little. To end up so greatly in your word. For such change in our lives. To you be the glory. May our lives be dedicated unto you forever. Almighty God, we thank you for this evening. We ask blessings upon the children. Upon the wives, the husbands. The work that you have for us Lord. And how we're to endure and endeavor within our lives. We just praise you and we thank you for it. May from this evening forward. Be such a life Lord. Such an honor and such a walk. That we can walk this life to you. In your greatness. To your glory. May our lives Lord. Because of you Lord. Father, because of your Son. Yeshua, Messiah. Our Messiah. Jesus Christ, our Savior, our Lord. I ask blessings upon all the people here. I ask that you bless their lives Lord. That you save them. That you keep them. That you give them your shalom. Your peace. In Yeshua, Messiah, His Holy Name. Jesus Christ. Amen.
