We see man can go see he's a condo Zaytoo Zaytoo Lega Oogbam, Baleum, Fishtagado In condo Zaytoo Zifushi Ziptoontu Gengamechlo Eytu Sibone E Bileidat Gandhi Ziname Sabati Solwange Lord, it's amazing and you are amazing You are so great. We cannot fathom how great you are cast off the works of darkness and let us put on the armor of light. Asiha mbe nguk fane leo, jenga se mini, kunga bi nguk minsa nuk dagwa, kunga bi nguk psebe namanyala, kunga bi nguk abana nomhao. Let us walk properly, as in the day, not in revelry and drunkenness, not in lewdness and lust, not in strife and envy. But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, make no provision for the flesh to fulfill its lusts. I don't know for how many weeks this word has been with me, and I thought even if I go overseas, I'd like to speak about this word. Now I'd like to just touch on four or five points here. The first point, it is now high time to awake out of our sleep. The second point in verse 12, let us cast off the works of darkness. The third point, let us put on the armor of light. The fourth point, let us walk properly as in the day. And the last point, put on the Lord Jesus Christ. I don't know how far we'll get, because you can probably notice how each point is so vast in itself. The first point, the Lord, the great God is saying it's now high time that you wake out of sleep. What does it mean to wake up out of your sleep? Someone that is asleep is sleeping. Things happen around him, there's talking, but he notices nothing. Now our great God, who has no beginning and no end, he's eternal. Can you imagine that with your minds? Now maybe you say, well how is such a thing even possible? Well it won't be possible for you to grasp it, because if you would know his beginning and his end, he'd be your size. He wouldn't be greater than you. There's a lovely German hymn that says, Lord you are the great God without beginning and without end. I don't know how far we'll get, because you can probably notice how each point is so vast in itself. We can't comprehend it, but I'm looking forward to being with him one day, to be with the one who Koza spoke about saying there's no one like him, and surely there is no one like him. Now we should wake up out of our sleep, we should look forward to become like him. And we shouldn't be in our sleep. Just these days the Lord gave a couple in our midst a small child, and I even went to visit it because there was a problem with the child. I even went to visit it because there was a problem with the child. The child was in ICU, and I had to go in there, I had to wash my hands, I said well I don't mind, I like to be hygienic, and I went in. The mother took away the blanket, and there was this lovely little child in there. As I looked at the child, As I looked at this little child, I was reminded of our Lord Jesus, our great God who came to be in our midst, to be born of Mary, to come into this world like this little child. Just for you and for me. He became flesh like you and I. Came to be our brother. I said it just... I said it respectfully, I don't take it lightly. To be able to say that He became our brother. You know yourself, I don't just speak about that lightly, but in Hebrews 2 He said that He came and He has accepted us to become His brothers. I'd be a fool if I'd walk around and tell people Jesus is my brother, Jesus is my brother. Like some people say, I'm a child of a king, I'm a child of a king, I don't go in this car, I want a Rolls Royce. I'm a child of a king. I say it with utter respect, and I wouldn't dare say such a thing. Even the brothers of our Lord didn't say He's our brother. But Jesus says He isn't ashamed to call us His brothers. Now Jesus calls us His brothers, and yet you live in sin, you live immorally, you swear, you do all sorts of sins. And Jesus says we His brother, are we fast asleep, totally oblivious of this fact? Can we afford living a life that we live if it is true that He's our brother? We go around smoking, using drugs, pinching, stealing, hiding things, walking in darkness. And He should be our brother. Oh no, you make a mistake. You've got a big brother, and he's Satan. He's the devil. That's your true brother, if we look at your killing. Even our brother here, he spoke about, testified of the fact that he cleansed his life. He confessed his sin. And you say, what, confession of sin? Yes, confession of sin is for everyone, no matter who you are. Even if you profess to be a Christian, and you're a preacher, there's dust that settles on your shoes. It needs to be dusted off, it needs to be cleaned and cleansed. If you're a Christian, and you're a preacher, and you're a Christian, and you're a Christian, and you're a Christian, and you're a Christian. But there are people fast asleep. They're not doing that, but on this day, I'm trying to wake you up, that you wake up to this fact. We need to wake up because He calls us His brothers. He refers to God as His Father, and so do we, so we need to act accordingly. And through Jesus, we've become heirs of the kingdom. Do you know what it is to be an heir? It's a name. It's a name. As a name. As an heir, you stand in line for an inheritance that you will inherit, and in this case, to inherit the kingdom of heaven. Heaven is yours, but you fast asleep. You don't realize it. Are you awake to that fact that heaven belongs to you? Heaven is yours. Awake, you sleepy. Realize what God is saying, and if that is true, what kind of person should you be? Will you still have time to criticize others, or talk behind their backs, find fault with your brothers? Make sure that you're a child of God, lest I call you a child of Satan. So God says it's high time that you wake up out of your sleep. The time for sleeping is long past. Woe to you if you die and you haven't woken up. Salvation has come. Salvation has come, but you just continue following your own ambitions, your own way, and you are on the wrong track. Your life is just circling around yourself. You are busy with yourself, in spite of all these things. Heaven belonging to you, and yet, what kind of a person are you? You shouldn't walk on the ground. You should fly, or you should walk on air, spiritually. Your life should overflow. Does it? Or is it just a rubbish bin where you throw all the dirt? You should not walk on the ground. You should fly, or you should walk on air, spiritually. You should fly, or you should walk on air, spiritually. Your life should overflow. Or is it just a rubbish bin where you throw all the dirt? You should fly, or you should walk on air, spiritually. Your life should overflow. Does it? Or is it just a rubbish bin where you throw all the dirt? You should fly, or you should walk on air, spiritually. Your life should overflow. Or is it just a rubbish bin where you throw all the dirt? You should fly, or you should walk on air, spiritually. I have just spoken of his birth, and not even of how he grew up, and what he did. His ministry, and how he suffered. How he was crucified. How he descended into hell. but how he and how he rose again and how he ascended to heaven what kind of people shouldn't we be we should be like angels with such a God now it's not me saying this to you I'm just passing it on it's God saying it to you it's high time to wake up out of your sleep now I'm going on you can see I'm just touching on the surface now the second point the night is fast spent the day is at hand therefore let us cast off the works of darkness cast it off don't continue with it throw it aside the dark works of darkness what are they it's the works of Satan now here we find some of those things here to not to walk in revelry and drunkenness you know what that means that's to eat and overeat to be greedy and you just eat and never stop secondly drunkenness you know what drunkenness is you know what drunkenness is you know what drunkenness is you know what drunkenness is you know what drunkenness is you know what drunkenness is you know what drunkenness is last night we were driving back from Pumalanga there was someone next to the road totally under the influence they're not moving and then someone was trying to help him along he wouldn't budge people react differently when they're under the influence some get very friendly and they're actually in a very good mood but others kick everything in their way but the Bible says a drunkard doesn't and will not enter the kingdom of heaven and who just doesn't stop eating just eating all the time and then going on lewdness and lust if you live in a moral life whether it is an open or even in secret God sees it and he says such people will not inherit the kingdom of heaven and if you've got a sexual relationship with anyone out of marriage know that God will not let you into heaven you know what drunkenness is you know what drunkenness is you know what drunkenness is you know what drunkenness is you know what drunkenness is you know what drunkenness is and God does not allow any manner of filth no matter what it is you get up to some even use their cell phones cell phones can be a good thing can be a bad thing some people send a send all men of filth across from one to another via their cell phones and God will judge that and strife and envy cast aside all these things if you look at another woman with lust in your eye you've already committed adultery with her God says you've already committed that sin you may say you say my husband doesn't love me he doesn't want me anymore he doesn't care for me you let another man into your life that is a sin before God and woe to you if you die without making that right with God cast aside and away when he came to see me um he told me about what he experienced had experienced in hospital our people were like burning in the flames of hell while they were still alive saying please just pour some water over us he wanted to give them something to drink they said pour it over us we're burning in the flames and he came here he said i want to make right my life please pray with me you don't need to pray that God heals me physically but if he just forgives me my sin that i can make peace with him he said i don't want to die with this thing in my heart in my life i want God to forgive me do you hear that all of you whether you're a preacher a man a woman or a child we make christianity to be a circus is we make our own thing out of christianity just do our own thing in the name of christianity but he says he met with God and he met with God and he even said i don't even want to go home anymore i want to stay right here is it's amazing though that when we did pray with him he says it was like water flowing through his whole body and after the prayer he said but where's the water because it's as if something flowed through me and washed me and it was an amazing thing that she experienced and he got up from there he felt so well he drove around in his car he even worked and we always had to tell not to work so hard but he must have felt well after that is let us cast off the works of darkness don't hang on to them don't put them in your pocket cast them off have you cast off your old life those grudges hatred the old sin have you cast it off is that's why he could say i've met with God because he had cast off the old life have you done it oh if you don't cast off the old life your father he's in heaven but you will be on your way to hell not that goes for everyone whether you're white or black whoever you are is like i told the swazis i said i can't help it that i am like i am the color skin i've got but if you take your hand just turn it around don't look on the top look at the palm of your hand and you'll see that we are the same is now we could go on for hours i'm just cutting it very short it goes on to say um put on the armor of light foreign you must put on the armor of light some people want to be christians but they always just fail you see they don't have the armor on they don't have a shield they don't have a sword they don't have what is needed to fight the battle with just an example if you've become a christian when you get up in the morning the first thing is pray when you go to pray whatever you do do it prayerfully and then also read God's Word you need to feed your soul with God's Word you can't survive without it and that's why you go for a while you Peter out spiritually because you're not feeding your soul with the right thing maybe you think well I go to church it says about do that's worthless if you don't put aside the works of darkness and do away with sin put on the arm of light and walk as is proper live as is proper for a child walk properly as a child of the light not that you've got hidden things in your heart and in your life what would you like it if your whole life your heart your mind was covered just with glass that everyone could see inside and see what is going on inside would you allow it or would you become like an owl that hides away during the day only only comes out when it's dark thought if your head would be made of glass and you could see every thought flying around in your head would you like would you like to walk amongst people if your chest would be made of glass would you like everyone to see what's in your heart if not then you're a child of darkness and I call you to repentance today today in the name of God repent today turn around in Germany they speak of Holland and Brandt and I've always wondered how can Holland be on fire when there's so much water around as you know most of Holland is below sea level just protected by dykes because they've reclaimed reclaimed most of the land but then they told me that it's because years ago they had revival in Holland the Christians were on fire and that's why the Germans referred to them and referred to Holland as being on fire when a bad man mama the trouble can move for us a culminating so we mean you know moves again now the question is to you today are you on fire or not can people testify about your life and say that you are on fire is God's holy fire burning in your life many people burn with other things it's politics or it's lusts and all sorts of filth but my that would you be happy to live your life with you made out of glass where everything was evident and in the light your thoughts your heart your mind or would you be happy to live your life with you made out of glass where everything was evident and in the light your thoughts your heart your mind or would you be happy to live your life with you made out of and in those days the Dutch even said we don't even need curtains we don't mind let people look into our sitting rooms and dining rooms see how we live with our family it's that we can be a testimony to them as well to this day there are many houses in Holland where they don't have curtains because they say we've got nothing to hide children of the light walking as is proper as is appropriate a child of God that we have nothing to hide from the sole of our feet to the tip of our head a point looking up so many looking petty now the final point God I am but honey in course of Jesus Christ but put on the Lord Jesus Christ make no provision for the flesh to fulfill its lusts make no provision for the flesh and for lusts some people some men they go and they buy magazines filthy magazines pornographic stuff and they don't just publish magazines like that for men even for women they have pinups even which women use you can see that we're living in the end times don't make provision for the flesh and some men even say that they eat certain foods because that sharpens them so don't make provision for the flesh and that goes with TV and so many other things I always said I'm lucky to live in Africa because the Africans they live respectfully but I was so disappointed when I saw that it wasn't always the case and if one thinks of the whites they brought many good things but they've brought many bad things to accept must have discernment and only accept what is good leave the filth and I said if you're a fool then rather be quiet don't open your mouth and show everyone that you're foolish if you're quiet they could take you for a wise and then on TV you see something which is new and new fashion the next day everyone's doing it and all sorts of things that they do with their hair and you follow suit and you just show that you are dear my car yourself the Bible says you must put on the Lord Jesus Christ Jesus says learn from me I am meek and lowly of heart so we need to learn from him how to how we should live we should put him on I'm not speaking of physical sleep but spiritual sleep it would be wonderful if on this day where we lay this body to rest as it goes into the grave that it will be the day when you come out of your spiritual grave of sin let's pray Lord my own word not be in Lord we just don't have enough time to elaborate to speak about these great and wonderful things the greatest things they are but Lord there's also the physical side where one does get tired and Lord there's the risk that we can get old 50 60 70 years old and we're still fast asleep but may your word penetrate into your hearts to our hearts today that it will go with us and bear fruit today we bear whose next next one the next one who's going to go and leave us is in our midst right here have you made right your life and you young person don't say well I'm still young and you think someone old is going to go next sometimes the young people go first if you go home without having made right your life with God you go home with your sin know that you're guilty before God
