Joining his father’s ministry in 1954, he led Laymen’s Evangelical Fellowship from 1963, headquartered in Chennai, growing it to hundreds of centers across India, Cyprus, Guyana, and London. Known as the “boy revivalist,” he authored Faith Is the Victory and delivered thousands of sermons, aired on TV and radio in multiple languages, focusing on salvation and revival. Married to Lily, they had three children, including John, who succeeded him. His annual retreats at Beulah Gardens drew 7,000-9,000, emphasizing prayer and holiness. Daniel’s ministry, marked by tentmaker missionaries, impacted millions despite later critiques of family-centric leadership.

And grace. How amazing. Now to come back to Kadesh-Barniya. Now Caleb and Joshua said, We will go. We can overcome. We can take the land. Look at the third verse. But ten men said, And there we saw the giants, the sons of Anak. Which come of the giants. And we were in our own sight as grasshoppers. And so we were in their sight. Defeatism in the heart. In many parts of the world today, people are full of defeatism. They are saying, we can't do this. We can't win this battle. Nobody wants the gospel. See, many churches in other countries are full of old people. And one by one they are dying off. So it's a very sad, dismal picture. But God's people are an overcoming people. Many difficult situations. There is nothing impossible with God. See, here, the whole lot of people believe this evil report. They said, no, we will not go. We will make a captain for ourselves and return to Egypt. God's children never look back. They look with faith at the future. That is faith. See, there are many factors today which appear to be very dangerous territory. All over the world I see various types and shades of pride. When it comes to Indian pride, I don't know what it is, but Indians I characterize as very proud people. Pride of caste. Pride of property. Pride of face. Pride of connections, relatives, powerful relatives. Pride of education. Pride about everything. What is this? Anyway, now if you go to our neighbors, all the way from Pakistan to the Atlantic, across North Africa, one doctrine, it was just enumerated here by Peter Iqbal. And the extension to that belief is destroy the unbelievers. Destroy the unbelievers. Now that has been practiced in Iraq, Iran, Afghanistan. In Pakistan, many people were accused of blasphemy and innocent people were sentenced to die. Across Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Sudan, into Algeria, Morocco, right on to the Atlantic. The same doctrine. Why? Does the gospel fail? No, love can never fail. The Bible says, love never faileth. So, who has failed in love? We have failed in love. This pride which is surging in the hearts of people is terrorizing the whole world. It is terrorizing the whole world.
