Overview of the Main People and Events in the End Times
Mike Bickle

Mike Bickle (1955 - ). American evangelical pastor, author, and founder of the International House of Prayer (IHOPKC), born in Kansas City, Missouri. Converted at 15 after hearing Dallas Cowboys quarterback Roger Staubach at a 1970 Fellowship of Christian Athletes conference, he pastored several St. Louis churches before founding Kansas City Fellowship in 1982, later Metro Christian Fellowship. In 1999, he launched IHOPKC, pioneering 24/7 prayer and worship, growing to 2,500 staff and including a Bible college until its closure in 2024. Bickle authored books like Passion for Jesus (1994), emphasizing intimacy with God, eschatology, and Israel’s spiritual role. Associated with the Kansas City Prophets in the 1980s, he briefly aligned with John Wimber’s Vineyard movement until 1996. Married to Diane since 1973, they have two sons. His teachings, broadcast globally, focused on prayer and prophecy but faced criticism for controversial prophetic claims. In 2023, Bickle was dismissed from IHOPKC following allegations of misconduct, leading to his withdrawal from public ministry. His influence persists through archived sermons despite ongoing debates about his legacy

Sermon Summary
Mike Bickle emphasizes the significance of understanding the main people and events in the end times as outlined in the Bible, highlighting that Jesus has a brilliant plan for the future that includes both great revival and severe judgment. He believes that many in the audience may witness these events in their lifetime, urging preparation for both the challenges and the glory that will come. Bickle discusses the importance of being forerunners, preparing oneself and others for the unique dynamics of the end times, including the rise of the Antichrist and the simultaneous outpouring of the Holy Spirit. He reassures that while there will be persecution, the focus should be on the victory of God's kingdom and the revival that will precede Christ's return. The sermon concludes with a call to embrace the revelation of Jesus as the bridegroom and to engage in prayer and works of justice in anticipation of His coming.
Sermon Transcription
...ask you in the name of Jesus, by the power of the Holy Spirit, that you would release supernatural wisdom and understanding to our heart, that you would reveal Jesus to us and his glorious plan for the end times. Holy Spirit, we recognize your presence right now in this room. We ask you for the release of living understanding and we ask for all that are viewing through God TV, that a spirit of wisdom and revelation would touch them right now in their living rooms and hotel rooms. In Jesus' name, amen and amen. Well, tonight we're going to look at the main people and the main events that the Bible highlights as important in the end time plan. Now, the end time plan is Jesus' plan. And the thing that strikes me most about the end time plan in the Bible is that Jesus started like with a blank whiteboard, so to speak. Meaning, he came up with the plan from nothing. And I am really blown away by what he chose to put in the plan. As I study it, I think, Jesus, you're brilliant! Who would have thought of these kind of dynamics? It is the most dramatic story that you can imagine that's about to happen in human history. And I believe, it's my personal opinion, that there are those in this room that will be a part of this drama. I believe, again it's my personal opinion, it's not a prophecy, but it's a strong opinion, that there are those in this room that will see these events in your lifetime. That you will actually be involved in these events. I don't know if these events will begin in five years or 50 years. I don't know. It's my opinion, it's closer to 50 years than five. It may be longer, because nobody knows the day or the hour. But the Bible said that you can know the generation. Now, I'm not a hundred percent sure this is the generation, but it's my strong opinion that it is. And the reason where I base that opinion is from the signs of the times that are in the Bible. Not from people's prophecies, but what the Bible says what happened in that generation. And those signs are beginning to increase in a dramatic way. And I've paid a lot of attention to those signs. I mean studying them in the Bible. And we're not going to cover signs of the times tonight, but we do have different handouts on our website where you can look at them. There's quite a number of signs that Jesus and the prophets said would take place in that generation. And beloved, they're beginning to take place in an increasing accelerated way. And therefore, I believe it's reasonable to conclude that people in this room, young people, will see these events in their lifetime. And you might not, but certainly it will be in the lifetime of your children if it's not in yours. But we're preparing. We're preparing ourselves as though this will happen in our lifetime. And if not, we will just be ready to prepare the generation that follows. Part of the IHOP mandate is to raise up forerunners. Those that are prepared so they can prepare others for the unique dynamics of the coming of the Lord. Again, a forerunner, they are those that get prepared so then they're able to prepare others for the greatest revival that's ever been seen in history, as well as the greatest trouble that's ever been seen in history. Both of them are going to be happening simultaneously. And that's what forerunners do. Of course the IHOP mandate is intimacy with God, night and day prayer, works of justice. And the Lord's given us a lot of clarity about aggressive outreaches to bring the gospel to our city and our part of the nation and other nations of the earth to mix night and day prayer with night and day works of justice as well. But it's not enough to just pray and do works of justice. We need to also be prepared for the unique dynamics. There will be dynamics in one generation that no other generation in history will experience. And again, I believe some of you in this room will actually witness it with your own eyes and you will participate. And if not, then it will be your children and their children will, any way that it goes. We need to prepare to prepare others. That's what our Bible school is about. It's what our Music Academy is about. And I'm going to tell you just a really neat little testimony about our Bible school, our Music Academy, the IHOPU, just happened about a month or so ago. We had a guy visit us from out of town, just came and visit. And he said, hey, what's happening? And I said, well, our Bible school, it's about 500 full-time students. It's kind of, I appreciate that. But I said, but we've got a new status, legal status. We're at the final stages where we're opening the door where there's no visa problems in a certain way for international students. So they could come from Asia and Africa and Europe and South America. And that, we're just a moment away from that status. So already the numbers that we're receiving, our Bible school is going to double overnight. So I told this guy, I said, we're about to double overnight because of the new international ability to have foreign students come here because the visa issue is being settled. And he said, what are you going to do? I said, I don't know for sure. I said, but we're looking at this shopping mall and it's, those of you that are visiting, you don't know, but it's just about a half mile from here. It's twice the size of this place. It's, I mean, a lot actually bigger than that. And we went and we put a talk to the owners and the owners said $3.3 million, which we were surprised because we thought it would cost a lot more than that because of how big it is. $3.3 million. Anyway, this man is talking to me with his wife. He goes, what are you going to do with your Bible school? I said, well, we're going to buy this, uh, big shopping mall and it's really cheap because of the economy and you know, it's prices are way down. I said 3.3 and he kind of groaned. He went, Oh, I thought, okay. I mean, his eyes kind of, you know, and what had happened is a week earlier when he was at home because they came to visit just to spend a day here. His wife told him, honey, the Lord told me we're supposed to give $3.3 million to IHOP. And the guy, the guy said, we can't afford that. The Lord's blessed them economically. She goes, yes, we can. He goes, no, you know, that's really a stretch. She goes, I heard it from the Lord. He said, I don't, she goes, I don't really think we can do that. Maybe next year, maybe that's over a period of time, something like that. So they're sitting across the table. I said 3.3 million. Of course, that's the word that his wife got a week earlier and he kind of groaned a little bit, a slight little, Oh, so he went and he looked at the shopping mall and he came right back. I mean, just a few minutes later, he said, okay. I said, okay. What? Cause I didn't go with him. I said, okay, what? He goes, it's yours. I go, what do you mean? He goes, we're giving you a check for 3.3 million the next day, tomorrow, the next day, how soon as we can, because the Lord wants you to double this thing to train forerunners that do night and day prayer and do works of justice and bring the gospel to the poor and to the human trafficking and to stand against abortion and those kinds of things. So I'm excited. So we got ourself a brand new big shopping mall, debt-free, courtesy of this couple under duress from the Lord. No, the Lord, they love to give actually and the Lord blessed them and it's an amazing thing. Okay. The end time, the reason I'm giving you just, we're just going to spend a minute on each one of these big events that are in the end time drama, because here's my point. I want you to be able to kind of get a vision of where this thing is going so that when you study the Bible, it makes sense to you. Because if you are alive in the time when these events happen and I, again, it's my strong opinion, a number of you will be, then this is your story. This isn't just doctrine. This is actually your story written in advance. You know, there's only one generation that God chose to give prophetic signs to and that generation is the generation of the Lord's return and those prophetic signs called the signs of the times, they're happening right now and they're increasing. Now before we look at this handout and those that are viewing on God TV, you could get the handout at dihop.org. You can get it right now. You can download the short one, the two-page one, or we have a ten-page one if you want more Bible verses and more of the points. You go right to the website now and get it and join us right here in this Bible teaching. Now there's a common misconception. You've heard it, but it's it's a wrong idea. Here's, here it is. It's a false statement. Here it is. Every generation believed they were the last one. That is simply not a true statement. I've heard it said for, I've been teaching on the end times for 30 years. I've heard that statement multitudes of times. It is not based in fact. There's only one generation in history that believed it under this qualification. The majority of God's people believed it was the final generation for a sustained period of time. Now those are the two qualifiers. A majority of God's people for a sustained period of time, only one generation believed it. And that was the generation of the early apostles. Peter, James, and John, and Paul. And they were wrong. They missed it. It wasn't the final generation, but they thought it was. Now for 2,000 years, there's always been a little group somewhere on a hillside somewhere who thought it was. But it wasn't the majority of the body of Christ and it wasn't a sustained conviction that millions had. Yes, I'm guessing, I don't know the number of course, that it was less than 1% of that generation. I'm talking about the generations for 2,000 years. Less than 1% is my guess. Maybe they believed, but the 99% did not. It's a new phenomenon that is breaking out across the earth right now where millions are beginning to believe we're nearing that hour. There's never been a time where so many people believed it is now. So when somebody tells you, well they believed in every generation, you say, well if you mean less than 1%, possibly, but not the majority of people who love Jesus and not in a sustained way. Let's go ahead and look at Roman Numeral 1 on the notes. Joel chapter 2 verse 11. Joel chapter 2 verse 11. Here's what Joel said. The prophet Joel, for the day of the Lord is great and the day of the Lord is very terrible. Now notice those two words. Great, terrible. Now which is it? Is the day of the Lord? That's talking about the events related to the second coming of Jesus. Is it great or is it very terrible? And the answer is both. Because the greatest revival and the most terrible judgments are going to happen simultaneously in the same time frame on the earth. Look at Malachi chapter 4 verse 5. Now Malachi, he says, he's a prophet like Joel. He was. He said the same thing. He said it is great and it's dreadful. Joel said very terrible. Malachi said dreadful. That sounds bad. Either whatever word you use, terrible or dreadful, it doesn't sound good. Now it's great in the sense of the people who believe in Jesus and call on His name. To them it will be the greatest revival in history. So it's the great day for believers. But for the people who persist, the people who persist in rebellion, it will be a terrible, no, very terrible is what the prophet Joel said. It will be very terrible if they persist in their rebellion against the Lord. So when somebody asks you, which is it? Is there going to be a great revival or a great falling away? You say both. Is it going to be an outpouring of the Spirit or the release of God's judgment on the Antichrist empire? You say both. There's an outpouring of the Spirit on the church and there will be judgment on the Antichrist empire. Both of them are happening in the same time frame leading up to the second coming of Christ. Okay let's go to Roman number two. Now let's look at the positive trends. Just real quick. Again my goal isn't to give an in-depth teaching but is to leave you tonight with the main themes in your mind so you can picture kind of the broad strokes of what's going on. So then when you study these other chapters and the Bible on this, it will make sense. The puzzle will come together if you know the big trends. Well we're going to look at the positive ones first. First, the greatest revival, paragraph A, the greatest revival in history. The church will be victorious and the church will be full of glory. Now the Holy Spirit is going to restore the first commandment to first place. Now you know the first commandment, you shall love the Lord your God. Right now the first commandment is probably in the top ten in the body of Christ but the first commandment is not first in the minds of God's people, the majority. But here's the good news. Before Jesus returns, the first commandment will be restored to first place in the body of Christ worldwide. It won't be strange that a group of young people are fanatically loving Jesus. The whole body of Christ will be operating in the grace of God of the first commandment. And of course when you do that, then the second commandment flows right out of it, right on into the Great Commission. When the first commandment's in place, it energizes us to do the second commandment and it flows right over to outreach and missions and works of justice and the natural outflow of night and day prayer. The cry for justice is the lifestyle of works of justice. That's what happens when people pray. They begin to do the works of the kingdom with greater zeal and greater perseverance. Now the miracles in the book of Acts and the miracles of the book of Exodus. Now who is the main guy in the book of Exodus? Moses. Now some of you don't know the book of Exodus so well, but in the book of Exodus, Moses was the prophet and the greatest signs and wonders in the Old Testament happened in the book of Exodus. I mean they're remarkable. Read it on your own. The book of Exodus is the Old Testament book of Acts. But here's what I want to say. The miracles of the book of Acts and the miracles of the book of Exodus are going to be combined and multiplied on a global level. Can you imagine the miracles of Moses and the miracles of the Apostles happening in one generation across the world in a multiplied way? That's what's going to happen. Paragraph B. A great harvest of souls. The greatest harvest of souls in human history is right around the corner. Matter of fact it's happening right now. It's increasing so rapidly the number of people getting saved right now. There's never been a time in history where so many people are getting saved as right now. Look at Revelation chapter 7 verse 9 and 14. It says there will be a multitude that no one could number coming out of all of the nations during the time of the tribulation. During the tribulation hour the greatest harvest of souls I believe it will be over a billion souls. Now we don't know the number. That's a guess. But I believe will be over a billion. I believe the body of Christ worldwide will virtually double or more. We don't know. But right now God is putting His hand on young people. On 15, 16, 17 year olds. Young adults. Even younger than 15. He's setting them aside right now. He's causing them to live a life of abandonment to Jesus. He's teaching them about His end-time plan. I mean in the general sense. Some of the things we're covering here. And they're preparing their life to walk out the first commandment. And to walk in intimacy with God. And to go forth in works of compassion and works of justice. And bringing the goodness of God to others. But not just the goodness of God there by itself. But in the name of Jesus we're doing the good works of God. See a lot of the humanitarian groups across the earth they do good deeds. And I really appreciate them actually. But they don't do them in the name of Jesus. They do them in their own name. But God's raising up a company of people that will do them in the name of Jesus with the express purpose of causing people to fall in love with Jesus. And that's what's happening right now in the nations. Great harvests. Paragraph C. Now this might be new to some of you. Now you don't have to get it all tonight. But just kind of note it. Note to self. There is going to be a great revival in the nation of Israel. Now the nation it's prophesied many places in the Bible in the Old Testament. We won't go into it. But there's going to be a great persecution against Israel. But there's going to be a great turning of Israel to Jesus. The nation that is most hostile against Jesus will turn dramatically and they will be the nation most loyal to Jesus. And it will happen overnight in a very quick period of time. And there's already a move of God happening in Israel where many are turning to Jesus. Jewish people. But there's going to be an outpouring of the Spirit on the church the Gentile church across the nations. And the Lord wants Gentile believers most of us in this room are Gentiles. He wants us to pray for Israel and to work together with the Spirit to bring his purposes to the nation of Israel. That Jesus would be glorified in that nation. And they would bring Jesus to the earth. So the salvation of Israel. Paragraph D the next one. The Bridal Revelation. In Revelation 22 17 it says the Spirit of the Bride say come. The Spirit of the Bride say come. There's this is describing the end of the book of Revelation where the church worldwide will be relating to Jesus as a bride. They will see Jesus for the first time in history. I'm talking about worldwide. The whole body of Christ. They will see Jesus not only as a Savior, not only as a healer, not only as one that forgives. They will see him as a bridegroom God who has deep emotion and desire for his people. Now right across the nations today the church is more and more understanding Jesus the healer. And there's more signs and wonders happening than any time in history right now. The church is understanding Jesus the Savior. There's more people getting saved and receiving forgiveness of sins. But he's more than a healer and a Savior though we love that. I mean I can't hear enough of that. Jesus the healer. Jesus the Savior. I mean that's that's so dynamic and so glorious. But he is more than a healer and a Savior. He's a passionate bridegroom. He is a bridegroom King that has deep emotion. He has deep desire for his people. And the scripture makes it clear that when Jesus comes in the sky he will come and answer to millions. I mean hundreds of millions or a billion or two. We don't know the number of believers in the nations. And they're crying out as a bride to a bridegroom God. Come Lord Jesus. But they're not. It doesn't say Jesus. I mean it doesn't say the Spirit and the family of God. Though we are the family of God. It says Jesus. I mean it says the Spirit and the bride are saying come Lord Jesus. We are always the family of God. But it's not the family of God identity the Holy Spirit's focusing on here. It doesn't say the Spirit and the army of God. Though we are the army of God. It doesn't say the Spirit and the body of Christ say come. Though we are the body of Christ. It says the Spirit on God's people. They understand they are a bride because they see him as the bridegroom. Which means in one sentence, just real summarized, they have a revelation of his deep affection and his deep desire for us. And this revelation is going to invigorate the body of Christ with so much passion. When we see his passion for us, it's going to cause us to have great passion for him. We're not just a project. We're not just a workforce. Some people see the body of Christ as a workforce. We just work to touch other people, which we do. We are very committed, the body of Christ, to touch other people. But we're more than a workforce. We are the darling of his heart. We are those that he desires in a way that we don't yet understand. I don't understand. You don't understand. But here's what's gonna happen. Paragraph D. There is going to be an explosion of understanding of Jesus as the bridegroom God. And when we see him as a God of desire, as a God of deep emotion, it will change our worship songs. It will change the way we endure persecution. It will drive fear out of our hearts before even martyrdom. Because a lovesick person is afraid of nothing. And God's gonna raise up hundreds of millions, if not a couple billion, believers worldwide who will be lovesick. And the reason they will be so engaged in the heart, and what I mean by lovesick, I'm not talking about human romance right now. I'm talking about a resolve, a fascination with the man Jesus, and a revelation of his burning desire that we will do anything in loyal love to obey him, no matter if it costs us our lives. Beloved, there is an explosion going on right now worldwide of the revelation of Jesus the bridegroom God. And you want to get a hold of that. In the last 10 years, I have seen such an increase, because I've been paying attention to this revelation of the bridegroom God. In the last 10 years, the number of worship songs, the number of people preaching on this subject is exploding. And the next 10 years, and the next 10 years, and however many decades we have till the Lord returns, I don't know, but we're going to see the increase more and more. Paragraph E. There's going to be the greatest prayer and worship movement in human history, and of course we see it already emerging in the nations. And on the 10-page handout, because we're only looking at the two-page one, but the one on the internet, I have a lot of Bible verses. You can look at it later if you want to, where it's prophesied that the generation the Lord returns will be a dynamic prayer and worship movement. There will be love songs coming from heaven like no time in history. Look, the shout of war, the cry of war will come from love songs. There's not going to be a contradiction. It's not, well, do we love Him or do we fight for Him? I heard one preacher said, the bride has on army boots. It's the cry of war coming from love songs. And the prayer movement, there are more 24-hour prayer ministries going on across the earth right now. Many styles, many different models, many different focus of different ways to do it, but the Holy Spirit is breathing on the prayer movement. It's breaking forth into high schools and colleges and marketplace ministries all over the earth right now in a way that is in itself a sign and a wonder. Paragraph F. Boy, I love the positive ones. You can tell I'm spending most my time on the positive. We'll get to the negative in just a moment because the positive and the negative, both of them are true. And we cannot endure the negative if we're not rooted in the positive. Now some people only talk about the positive, but that's not the whole story. We have to talk about the whole counsel of God, the whole picture, both sides of the story, or we won't be prepared and therefore we won't be able to prepare others. And when I mean by prepared, I mean prepared at the heart and the mind level. I'm not talking about preparing, stocking up guns and food. That's not what I'm talking about. When I mean prepared, I mean prepared in our understanding and prepared in our love that we're not offended at Jesus. We trust His leadership and we're absolutely in love with Him. We will do anything, the Spirit says, because we trust His goodness, because we are fascinated by who He is as a man. Of course, He's fully God and fully man. Paragraph F, the spirit of prophecy, Acts chapter 2 verse 17. We know the famous prophecy that He's going to pour out His Spirit on all flesh. Now that happened a little bit on the day of Pentecost. In Acts chapter 2, 2,000 years ago, there was a down payment of this on the day of Pentecost. But beloved, this was only a down payment. It didn't fulfill the prophecy. There's coming a day where this thing will be totally fulfilled. It was a, it was a partial fulfillment in Peter's day, on the day of Pentecost. Can you imagine the day coming where all flesh, the sons and daughters, everybody prophesies. Now here's what this means. The day is coming when every single believer on the planet will have dreams and visions. Now these dreams and visions will back up and they will honor the written Word of God. I'm not interested in dreams and visions that do not honor the written Word of God. I've heard plenty of them and I throw them away. But I'm talking about not just the one prophet over here, or the one guy over there. Can you imagine every single youth ministry, every single leadership team of every ministry in the earth, every believer operating in a spirit of prophecy. Millions, hundreds of millions, several billion possibly operating in the spirit of prophecy. Now I have people come and tell me, I don't believe that the prophecy is for today. I don't believe the gifts of the Holy Spirit operate today like they did in the New Testament. And they want to debate it. And I say, I'm not interested in debating it. I'd rather talk about the beauty of Jesus than argue about whether prophecy is real. And they want to argue and I go, let's talk about Jesus. Let's talk about the great harvest. Let's talk about touching people with the, with the beauty of Jesus, the power of God. They go, no, I want to have a Bible debate about prophecy. I go, no. Here's why. Well, I'd rather talk about Jesus first. But the second reason, I am so confident that every believer is going to prophesy. I know this guy's going to prophesy. It's only a matter of time. So I don't even want to argue with it. I don't have time for it. Because I'm sure the spirit of prophecy will be poured out on all flesh. Now the prophetic spirit is increasing in the nations right now. Well, the prophetic spirit is the Holy Spirit. But the, the grace of prophecy in the last 10 or 20 years is increasing rapidly on a global level. But beloved, we haven't seen anything compared to what's coming in the generation, in the decades ahead. Many of you are 15 years old. When you're 25 and 35 and 45, you can't imagine the kind of experiences in the Holy Spirit that will honor Jesus and honor the written Word of God that the body of Christ will be happening. I believe it will happen within your lifetime. This is exciting. But don't wait for tomorrow. Begin to believe God to operate in it today. Because it's not just suddenly one day we're a great prophet. We operate in the small measure of the gift of prophecy. Every believer can operate in that right now. But there's coming a grace that's going to take our little prophecies and it's going to increase them and increase them as we are faithful even now to operate in them. Paragraph G, there's going to be supernatural direction. Now that's similar to the spirit of prophecy. I'm really saying the same thing but I'm making a different point here. That in the time of the Great Tribulation, and I believe, I'll say this just to get right to the point on this, I believe the church will be raptured but at the end of the trouble, not before the trouble. Now a lot of people, it's a popular teaching today that we're going to get raptured. We're going to be taken out of here. Then the trouble comes. And I don't believe, I believe there's many godly people who love Jesus as much as I do and that love the Word of God. But I don't believe that's a biblical teaching. The goal isn't for us to get out of here before the trouble. The goal is for us to be anointed in the midst of the trouble to bring the solution of God and the answer of God in the midst of the trouble. Though I honor, I remain sincerely. People that teach that, they love Jesus. They love the Word of God and that's how they were raised, believing that. But I challenge them to take another look at the Word of God and see if this hour that's coming, the Great Tribulation, will not be the church's greatest hour in history. It's not an hour we're trying to avoid. It's an hour we're trying to be prepared for so we'll walk in victory and power in the darkest hour of human history. Well anyway, in the midst of this trouble, paragraph G, there will be supernatural direction. And which is the same thing as the spirit of prophecy. But I'm thinking of it specifically as it relates to trouble. The Holy Spirit will direct people to safety. He will direct people, His people to provision. There will be people that will be lost in the chaos of society and the Holy Spirit will give them dreams and prophecies of where to meet and where to reconnect together. People, believers, walking in the Spirit will be at the right place at the right time to escape earthquakes, bombs, chaos, the ambush of the enemy. Now I'm not saying that that every believer will never have a pressure. There'll be great pressures. But there will be supernatural direction available to the end-time church in the midst of the great chaos that's going on in the earth. We will have divine direction in the midst of it. Paragraph H, there will be supernatural provision. God will multiply food. I don't mean every time on demand. That's something I'm talking about. It's not a formula. But as Jesus broke the bread and multiplied it to 5,000. Matter of fact, He did that miracle three different times. The multiplying of food. I don't mean the story was just told three times, the same story. I'm talking about three separate incidences of Jesus multiplying food. Now Moses, remember Moses in Exodus. God sent manna from heaven every single day except for the Sabbath day. He sent manna from heaven. Can you imagine? Water came out of a rock. Here are several million people. They're out in the wilderness in the book of Exodus. Several million Jewish people. They've just been set free from slavery in Egypt. They don't have any water. Water comes out of a rock. Can you fathom water coming out of a rock for a couple million people? We're not talking about a little drinking fountain where they stood in line and had. We're talking about a river in the wilderness came out of a rock. Beloved, that was the Old Testament. The New Testament is greater glory and the generation that the Lord returns is the greatest manifestation of glory leading to the second coming of Jesus of any time in history. There will be a multiplication of food. There will be water. I don't mean, again, every time on demand. But there will be remarkable miracles of supernatural provision for the people that are walking in the Spirit and they will make provision for others as well. It's the most dramatic hour of human history. And again, it's my strong opinion. Again, no one knows the day or the hour. But from the biblical signs of the times, it's my conclusion reading them, I believe that there are people alive in this room that will see it in your lifetime. And we're preparing as though it's true. And if it's not true, you're prepared to prepare the next generation anyway, so you've wasted no time in preparing. I had one guy say, yeah, but if people prepare, they prepare for nothing. It's a waste of time. I said, I don't think so. Because the early church, Peter, James, and John, they thought it was the last generation. They were wrong. They didn't do so bad in the book of Acts. Well, they prepared for nothing. Well, they did the book of Acts. So they did okay. But they were wrong on the timing. But they were prepared and they were going for it. Okay, let's go to paragraph I. Supernatural protection. This is our final, one of the positive trends. Supernatural protection. Now say the word Goshen. Goshen. Say it again. I want you to get that word. It's kind of a strange word if you've never said it before. Goshen. Okay. Look at Exodus chapter 8. Remember, the book of Exodus in the Old Testament is like the Old Testament book of Acts. You really want to read the book of Exodus. Don't skip Exodus. If you want to read the power of God, read Exodus in the Old Testament, the book of Acts in the New Testament, because the two books are going to be combined and multiplied on a global level. But look what happened in Exodus chapter 8, verse 22. God set apart the land of Goshen. Now Goshen was a geographic area in the land of Egypt where the Jews, the Jewish slaves, lived in Goshen. Now I'm sure it was not the nicest subdivision in Egypt. A couple million slaves lived there. I'm sure the living conditions for slaves in an ancient land were not very good. But God said it. Look at the passage. God set apart the land of Goshen and the judgments of God that fell on Egypt, they did not fall on the land of Goshen. God raised up a protection around Goshen and when His judgments were released, they didn't fall on the land of Goshen. And I believe that today we're going to have geographic areas around the earth. And I believe where prayer is going forth, I don't mean prayer like our style. There's many styles of prayer. Many styles of prayer. Many different focuses of prayer. But where prayer is going forth in concerted ways, I believe there will be the Goshen dynamic. There will be supernatural protection from the judgments of God in those geographic areas. Now I call those areas pockets of mercy. Now what I mean by pockets of mercy, of the whole globe, there will be regions where there will be exceptional manifestation of God's mercy. So I call it a pocket of mercy in the midst of judgment. There will be supernatural protection in some of these geographic areas. Okay. Turn to the top of page 2. And again, those that are joining us with God TV, we have these notes. The overview of the main people and events in the end times. We have them on the internet. We're looking at a two-page version of it, but we have a ten-page one there as well. And you're free to download it. Our copyrights, the right to copy. So it's yours. You do anything with it that you want. Okay. Roman numeral 3. The primary positive people and events. Jesus's second coming. That's obviously the primary event. But He's not coming to go. He's coming to stay. He's coming to set up a thousand-year reign upon the earth called the millennial kingdom. Now the word millennial means a thousand years. Jesus is coming back to the earth to establish on this earth a thousand-year kingdom. And you will have resurrected bodies, but there will be other people. We won't go into the details right now. There will be other people that will survive the great tribulation. They were not saved, but they didn't take the mark of the beast, so they're not killed. And they were not saved, so they were not raptured. But it's what I call the unsafe survivors. These people will have natural bodies in this thousand-year kingdom. You will have resurrected bodies, but there will be an interaction between the saints with resurrected bodies and Jesus's kingdom on the earth for a thousand years. Now this is dynamic. This is one of the primary themes of the Bible is God's kingdom on the earth fully manifest in every sphere of society. It's very dynamic. Now when I hear sometimes a guy on a talk show. Now this is an important point. I'll hear a guy in a talk show and he will say, you know, he'll be talking to a preacher. He'll say, do you believe in the end of the world? And the guy goes, well yeah. Beloved, we're not talking about the end of the world. We're talking about the end of the age. There's a difference. The world is not ending when Jesus comes. Matter of fact, it's a new beginning for the world. And a lot of people are confused by that. I mean, they mix it up. They don't understand the difference. They'll talk to me and they'll say, well, I hear you believe in the end of the world. I go, no, not at all. I go, you don't? I thought you talked on the end times. I do. Well, isn't that the end of the world? No. Well, what is it? It's the end of the age. It's the end of the devil's involvement in the nations. The world is going to go on for another thousand years and Jesus is going to bring his will to every sphere of society. Of course, we're working at that now. We're going to gain some real ground between now and the second coming of Christ as we bring the will of God and the word of God to every sphere of society. We're doing that now. The kingdom is. We're bringing it to the business, the economics, to the media, to government. We are mandated to bring the kingdom to every sphere of society now. But when the Lord comes, it's going to multiply at a level beyond anything we can imagine and there will be total victory of the kingdom on the earth for a thousand years. So we're not, we're not preaching the end of the world. We're preaching the end of the age and the beginning of a whole new glory, glorious reign of Jesus upon the earth. Okay, the other positive event is the rapture of the church. Now can you imagine? Jesus comes, the shout of the angel, the trumpet of God and every single believer is raised from the dead. I mean what an intense moment. We're talking about every believer in history is raised from the dead. I can't even imagine what people are going to be, how they're going to respond to this. And then the believers like us and if we're alive at that time and not all of us will be, but I believe some of us very possibly will be. You will be transformed instantly and you'll meet the Lord in the air and you'll get a resurrected body without dying. That's called the rapture of the church. Wow. Paragraph C, there'll be two witnesses. Now these two witnesses, you can read about them in Revelation 11, they will prophesy with so much power. Now they're not the only two that prophesy, but they give us a picture of what God is willing to do. I mean if God is willing to put this much power on these two, it's a statement about His desire to release power on His people. But these two witnesses, they will preach with such great power for three and a half years. But there will be a spirit of power on the body of Christ worldwide. Paragraph D, the 144,000 Jewish believers. Now here's the interesting point. These 144,000, they're all singers, prophetic singers. Now you know here at IHOP, we've got about, I'm just, I don't know the actual number, but probably about 500 singers. And people come and they go, 500 singers? We have 25 full worship teams, something like that, 28 or something. I lose the numbers because they keep growing. There's about 500 singers, four or five hundred, and people visit and they go, wow! I go, you think that's something? There's gonna be a group of singers, of Jewish singers, over a hundred thousand of them, to be exact, 144,000. They will all be singers. There will never be a singing group like this in history before the Lord returns. Can you imagine? I think some of these people, these young boys, young girls, it's hard to say exactly, male, female, young, old, you don't know all the details, but it's possible some of these little guys are alive right now. I mean, if the coming of the Lord is within the next 40, 50, 60 years, some of them could be alive right now. Who knows? That's not my real point. My real point is they're gonna be trained, 5, 6, 8, 10, 12, 15, 20 years old. They will be singers, and they will sing the songs of God in a way that is absolutely mind-blowing to the level of the anointing they will operate in. Man, you know, I don't know if I'll get to meet them, but I want to meet these guys. I want to hear them sing. Okay, let's go to the very terrible day. The very terrible day. A. And we just got about 10 minutes. We'll just go through these real fast, bring this to an end, and then afterwards we're gonna break up into small groups as it wants and have a about 45-minute discussion time with some of our leaders so you can ask questions and, hey, what about this? What about this? That didn't make sense. That's confusing. And then we'll have the worship concert. After that, we'll go on until 6 a.m. I mean, you won't, but the house of prayer will. You'll go to bed, and the worship will go on through the night here. Number one, the judgments of God. Now, the judgments of God, you have to get this clear, are not poured out on the saints. The judgments of God are poured out on the Antichrist. The judgments of God are not on the saints. They're on the Antichrist. So we're not concerned with the judgment of God coming against us. Matter of fact, the praying church will be involved with Jesus praying for the judgments on the Antichrist in the way that Moses prayed for the judgments on Pharaoh in the book of Exodus. Now imagine Moses. God says, hey, I'm going to turn the Nile to blood. And Moses says, okay, that's cool. He goes, no, it doesn't work that way. You're gonna actually ask me, and because of your prayer, I gave you the word initially, but I'm gonna have you pray it and release it in the sight of Pharaoh. And what Moses did to Pharaoh, the end-time church will be like that to the end-time Pharaoh, who is the Antichrist. The judgments are not on Moses. The judgments are released by Moses onto the Pharaoh. The judgments aren't on the church. The judgments are actually released by the church onto the end-time Pharaoh, which is the Antichrist. The praying church, under Jesus's leadership, will release the judgments on the Antichrist system. Now we don't pray those judgments until the Antichrist emerges in world history. You know, I've had some guys go, oh, they read the book of Revelations. They go, we want to start praying those judgments. I go, no, no. We got to wait till the Antichrist is in prayer. You don't pray these on other people. You pray them on the Antichrist empire at the right time. And I kind of, you know, stole some of their zeal. They were all ready to go loose these judgments on everybody that bugged them, and it doesn't work that way. This only happens in the final three and a half years, but it's a very real dynamic. And it's only judgments released on the reprobate, the people that have taken the mark of the beast and have committed to worship Satan, and they cannot repent. So it's only on the reprobate, meaning those that cannot turn back. Well, they don't want to turn back either. They can't, and they don't want to. The judgments are only released by prayer upon the reprobate who have aligned themselves with the Antichrist and taken the mark of the beast. Okay, paragraph C. There's going to be what the Bible calls the harlot Babylon. There's going to be a worldwide false religion. Now beloved, this is one of the most important points, negative points we're making here tonight. Because this one-world system will raise up even before the Antichrist is in power. I can see the early beginnings of this worldwide religion, and here's how this religion works, and I don't want to go in the details. It will be a composite of many other world religions coming into unity, and they're based on tolerance. Without any qualification, they will have tolerance for everything. It will be a false justice movement. They will be committed to humanitarian aid, but not in the name of Jesus and not for Jesus' glory. They will do humanitarian aid for their own glory, and they will tolerate. They will have no morals. They will tolerate all beliefs, and we can already hear the whispers of that worldwide religion emerging. You're hearing it every day. New alliances and new leaders around the world are talking. Let's all get together and do it, and let's just tolerate everything. And the one thing they won't tolerate is radical believers who love Jesus. They will tolerate everything besides Jesus. And that religion, you find in Revelation 17, is raising up right now in the earth, and we see the early beginnings of it now. Paragraph D. There's a world leader. His name is the Antichrist. That's his title in the Bible. He has a number of titles in the Bible. In the book of Revelation, he's called the Beast. And the reason he's called the Beast is because he has a cruel nature. He has no ability to show mercy. He will look peaceful. He will look dignified, but he will have no capacity for mercy at all. He cannot be reasoned with. He is as cruel as a wild beast in his inner nature, but he will not look that way to the underzerning eye of multitudes in the earth. They will vote for him. They will applaud him, but at the core of his being, he will be a wild beast in terms of his cruelty and his evil, but he will hide it, and he will veil it till a certain time. This man will lead. He will wage a war against God, and he will persecute God's people. Now the end times will have persecution. And when I mean the end times, I mean those final years before the second coming of Jesus. But it's not mostly about persecution. When people read the Revelation, I've had people say, boy, the book of Revelation scares me. And I go, why? They go, oh, the persecution. I go, no, the book of Revelation is a story of God's judgment on the Antichrist. You're reading the book of Revelation wrong. It's the same story of Moses defeating Pharaoh. It's about defeating the Antichrist. It's a great story, the book of Revelation. They go, really? It seems so scary. I go, no, those are the judgments being released by the praying church on the Antichrist. Those aren't judgments against you. They go, oh. I go, no, you want to read the book of Revelation. I call the book of Revelation the end-time book of Acts. It's the acts of apostles, of the apostles of the end-time church written ahead of time. Those are acts of power being released against the Antichrist, the end-time Pharaoh. They go, what about the persecution? I go, well, there is persecution. But here's the good news. I don't have this on the notes, but there's 400 verses in the book of Revelation. 400, 403 to be exact. But 400 verses and there's only 12, 12 verses on persecution. It's less than 3% of the book is on persecution of the church. Yes, the church will be persecuted, but it's 3% of the book. It is not the storyline of the book of Revelation. It's not the persecution of the church. It's the defeat of the Antichrist. This book is glorious to the end-time church that is relating to Jesus as a bride in a bridegroom, doing works of justice, working havoc on the kingdom of darkness. Okay, now, paragraph E. We'll just cut in the last three, four minutes here. There's going to be, paragraph E, the Antichrist is going to have many nations will sign up and, I mean, join up with him. But there will be ten nations that will be his main power base. Ten nations. It's called a ten-nation Confederation. There are ten nations that will be uniquely loyal to the Antichrist. And they will be his primary power base, these ten nations. So it's just good to get that in your mind. It's clear in the Bible. And most people that have studied end-time prophecy, you're aware of this dimension. But there's a ten-nation Confederation, which means a group of nations that are working together under the Antichrist. Now here's, here's the bad part. The Antichrist will have the largest army, the most money, the most political power of any leader in human history before Jesus. And he will use it for darkness, but he will be openly defeated by Jesus. But Jesus will be using the praying church to release some of his judgments as well. Okay, paragraph F, there's the false prophet. Now the false prophet, most of you know already, is the primary associate of the Antichrist. He's his main helper. He's a religious leader, but he operates in tremendous signs and wonders. Matter of fact, the false prophet can call fire down from heaven in the sight of people. But so can the two witnesses. The two witnesses call fire down, and then the false prophet calls fire down. It's going to be the Elijah Jezebel showdown on a global level, and Elijah will win again. The praying church, with the spirit of Elijah, is going to win again under the greater Elijah, the greater prophet, the greater David, the greater Moses, Jesus himself, the King of Kings. Okay, let's look at the paragraph G, the image of the beast. The image of the beast is a statue. That's what it is. It's an idol. This idol, it'll be very sophisticated. It won't be just a stone idol, but we don't know what it looks like. It'll probably be involved with the greatest technology we can imagine. What? I don't know. We don't really know. But this statue, this idol, will be demonically empowered. It will be able to speak. It will be, it will look as though it breathes. It will reason. And this idol, this statue, will talk and give edicts to the whole world. And it will convince the nations to worship the Antichrist. The mark of the beast. Most of you know what this is. It's a mark that will be on the right hand or the forehead, and you have to have this mark in order to buy or sell in the marketplace. But God will be releasing supernatural provision, food and water, and supernatural direction and protection, so though the saints aren't a part of this economic system, God will still be providing for the saints. Then there's the abomination of desolation. That's a fancy term. It's used in the Bible seven times. The abomination of desolation, in just one sentence, is the Antichrist worship system. The abomination is the statue of the Antichrist. And the, the abomination is this statue says, worship the Antichrist and the nations do it. It's a great abomination. And it leads to desolation or destruction of the earth. So it's this worship system that's an abomination and it results in great desolation in the nations. And finally, another negative will be martyrdom of Christians. There will be many saints killed, but here's the important, not most the saints. It will not be the majority. Again, it's 12% of the book of Revelation is about this. And then there'll be a great falling away from the faith. But not, we're not going to fall away from the faith. Amen and amen. Let's stand. Let's stand before the Lord. Let's just pray for a moment.
