Steve Hill

Steve Hill (1954–2014). Born on January 17, 1954, in Ankara, Turkey, to a U.S. military family, Steve Hill grew up in Alabama and spiraled into drug addiction and crime by age nine, facing arrests and near-death from overdoses. Converted on October 28, 1975, at 21 after a Lutheran minister’s prayer, he entered Teen Challenge, mentored by David Wilkerson, and graduated from Wilkerson’s Twin Oaks Academy in Texas, studying under Leonard Ravenhill and Nicky Cruz. Ordained in the Assemblies of God, Hill and his wife, Jeri, whom he met at Twin Oaks, became missionaries in the 1980s, planting churches in Argentina, Spain, and Belarus, where they founded a Teen Challenge center. In 1995, after receiving prayer at Holy Trinity Brompton in London, he sparked the Brownsville Revival at Brownsville Assembly of God in Pensacola, Florida, on Father’s Day, preaching repentance and drawing over 4 million attendees through 2000, with 150,000 reported conversions. Relocating to Dallas in 2000, he resumed crusades and founded Heartland World Ministries Church in Irving, Texas, in 2003. Hill authored books like Spiritual Avalanche (2013) and Wanted: Extreme Christians (2000). Diagnosed with melanoma in 2007, he died on March 9, 2014, in Orange Beach, Alabama, survived by Jeri and three children, Ryan, Shelby, and Kelsey. He said, “If you’re not winning souls, you’re wasting your time.”

Sermon Transcription
I was up this morning at 5 o'clock. I get up every day at 5, except Saturdays I try to sleep in until 7. And I say try because your body clock, you know, I'll get up at 5 on Saturday and I'll slap myself and go, no, it's Saturday, go back, go back. You know, and half the time you just lay there with your eyes open, you know, cause your body's just used to getting up early. But I was, um, I was up this morning crying my eyes out over this morning's message. Um, this is not going to be easy to deliver, but it's a necessary to deliver. And, um, this is, this is not a message for anyone here to be concerned about. It's just all in the word of God and you need to listen to it. Okay. And if the Lord speaks to you through this message and you think that he's speaking to you, then he probably is. We have been accosted in America by the news media, the newspaper, internet, television, radio, by the, the crimes and the trials of serial rapists and killers, child molesters. But we could go back a few decades and talk about Charles Manson. We could go back centuries and talk about those who killed Christians, who caused Christians to become martyrs, poured oil all over them, boiled them in oil, tied them to horses, one horse on one side, one horse on the other, their arms and their legs. And then they went both horses and pulled the people apart while the children watched. We could talk about Nero who took Christians and tied them to post in his garden in Rome, strap them and poured oil all over them, lit the torch and let them burn as light in the gardens at night. That's how he chose to do away with fanatical Christians. Others he would cover with animal skins. He would sew the skins of wild animals on Christians and then lead them out to a pack of wild dogs and let the dogs eat them alive. And so you look at these people and you say, well, they deserve to rot in hell. And, um, I tend to agree with you and they will be judged, but so will you. And for the next few minutes, I want to talk to you about judgment. By the time I finish it, you're going to know that, you know, that, you know, when you die, it's not over. As a matter of fact, death is not a period. It's a comma. Physical death is not a period. It's a comma. You move on. Everyone turned to Hebrews chapter nine, Hebrews nine, verse 27. This scripture covers everyone within the sound of my voice. Those of you listening by internet, those of you in this main auditorium, Hebrews nine, 27, as it is appointed unto men once to die. But after this, the judgment. Now I want you to imagine that that is, if we were going to do some type of chart, that would be the head of the chart would be Hebrews nine, 27. It is appointed on a man wants to die. And after this, the judgment, and then from that chart are going to come to forks. And those two forks are going to be the two major judgments that are going to be fall every man, woman, and child in this room. And the first one is found in second Corinthians chapter five, verse 10, turn there with me. Second Corinthians five, verse 10. As you're turning there, I want to let you know why we have BTK killers. I want to tell you why we have cooies in this world, burying little children alive. The reason these people exist today is because there is no fear of God before their eyes. And I say this to those of you that are listening at home. And those of you that peddle your gospel to pretty little people, you pamper them. You don't want to offend them. And you never speak on the fear of God, the fear of God. Yes. Is this my friend like it or lump it. There is a being over all and he's taking notes. He's jotting down everything. He's writing down everything. You do. And at the end of your life, you will be held accountable for it. And that very reason should be enough. That very image should be enough to keep you according to the psalmist. According to Solomon in Proverbs 16, five, he says, and by the fear of the Lord, men depart from evil. Let me tell you one of the problems in America today, guys. Now turn, make sure you're at second Corinthians five, 10. One of the problems in America is that we are so lenient in this nation towards wrongdoers that we think God is just like us. Now I just read yesterday about Singapore and I preach crusades in Singapore and Singapore. If you take a piece of paper and throw it on the ground, you get a ticket. If you get caught again, you go to jail. It's against the law to chew chewing gum in Singapore. Why? Because the Singaporean police were tired of seeing chewing gum on lampposts under desk, under chairs. So that's against the law. You go to jail. If you chew chewing gum in public. Now you may think that's funny, but I want to tell you something. I ain't never been in a place like Singapore clean as a whistle. Nobody messes with anybody and they're planning. The reason it was on the internet yesterday is that police and the judicial system of Singapore are considering enacting the following law. You steal something. Your hand gets chopped off. Remember Singapore is where the kid got flogged. Remember that? Remember the North American that did some, remember that did some graffiti. Remember he got flogged. He got whipped and America was outraged. I wasn't spare the rod, spoil the child. I didn't outrage me. I'm going, Hey, kids out there, painting up some rich kid out there, painting up somebody's car, messing with somebody's automobile, whip the boy. He'll get over it. And then if it leaves a few scars, his friends say, what happened to you? Let me tell you what happened to me, man. But here in America, we'll catch a Lunsford or we'll catch a Duncan or we'll catch a Cooey sodomizing a child, spank them for two years and then let them out on society again where other nations would hang them by the neck till they're dead. You go to other nations of the world and have a pound of pot or an ounce of pot. You get hung or you get put in front of a firing squad. I'm not talking about a hundred years ago. I'm talking about right now. You don't believe me. Go to Laos. Try selling an ounce of heroin over there. You'll have a kangaroo trial and then they'll shoot you at a firing squad. Why? We said no drugs, but not in America. Anything goes here. There is no fear of any consequences here. Second Corinthians five, 10, for we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ for everyone may receive the things done in his body. According to that, which he has done, whether it be good or bad, that is the judgment seat of Christ. Everyone looked this way. Everyone who calls himself a believer, including this pastor will stand before God. That's why I live very, very carefully under the scrutiny of almighty Jesus, but we will all stand in before the judgment seat. Now turn with me to revelation 20, revelation chapter 20, revelation 20. Remember, if you get quiet, I'm going to make you stand by the way, as you're turning there, remember what Solomon said at the end of the book of Ecclesiastes, you remember Ecclesiastes Solomon, the wisest man who ever lived. Remember what he said at the very end of his book? He said, let me sum it all up for you. Two things, fear God and keep his commandments for God. At the very end, it's going to judge you. Every secret thing, whether it be good or whether it be evil, you will be judged. That's what Solomon said at the very end of his life. He said, Hey guys, this is the bottom line. And I, for one loved the bottom line. I like to know when all the dust settles, I want to know what's true and what's not revelation 20 verse 11. And I saw a great white throne and him that sat on it from whose face the earth and the heaven flat away. And there was found no place for them. And I saw the dead small and great stand before God. And the books were opened and another book was open, which is a book of life. And the dead were judged out of those things, which were written in the books, according to their works and the sea gave up the dead, which were in it and death and hell delivered up the dead, which were in them. And they were judged every man, according to their works, you ever thought about the wars ever thought about wars, about the naval battles and all the wars that ships have been sunk world war two world war one. And this whole ship goes down with 2000 soldiers. I'm going to tell you, everything's in the book. Every soldier that went down, if he was godly, he's going to stand before God. If he was ungodly, he's going to stand before God. It's right there in scripture. My friend, the sea is going to give them up. The ground's going to give them up and they're all going to stand before God. Everybody. Okay. Now you can all read revelation 21, eight young people. I want you to hear me today. Revelation 21, eight says this, but the fearful and unbelieving and the abominable and the murderers and whoremongers and sorcerers and idolaters and all liars shall have their part in the lake of fire, which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death. Now I'm going to be sharing some facts this morning over the next few minutes regarding the end time, the judgment, and these will come to pass regardless of your belief, Buddhists, Muslims, Hindus. It makes no difference. Your religious affiliation. You will stand before my Jesus. And if you don't listen, if you don't listen to what the preacher is saying today, you're going to live to regret it. Now there's people that have been pulled by Gallup over the last several years and they came up with 80% of North American adults believe that when they die, they will stand before God on judgment. 80%. If we continue preaching the way this America's preaching, when they take that poll again, it'll be like 20% because the 80% of adults were brought up. Many of those adults were brought up around grandma and grandpa and, and, and camp meetings and preaching of the word like you're hearing here today, but with all the sludge and the junk that's coming through Christianity today, you give us another 10 or 20 years, ask kids if they believe in the judgment, they'll go. Yeah. What do you mean? There's no hell. Why? That's what they've been taught from the pulpits. Everything's wonderful. Everything's sweet. God's kind. He's loving when just a few minutes, you're going to see, you're going to hear some words in red. And I want to tell you folks, these folks are preaching a different Jesus. There's others who don't believe there'll be an eternal price to pay for their behavior simply because they've, there hasn't been much of a temporal price. Now I just want you to write this down because time won't permit me to for us all to turn there, but just write down Psalm 50, 16 through 22, Psalm 50, 60, 16 through 22, Psalm 50, 16 through 22. The first several verses of that portion talk about what the wicked are doing. And then God says in verse 21, he said, these things you have done. And I have kept silent because you thought I was just like you. Remember what I said a few minutes ago that America thinks God's just because we're lenient. He thinks he's lenient. We let a child molester go with just a spanking. He'll let a child molester go with just a spanking. And so the Bible says in verse 21 and chapter 50, I kept silent and you thought that I was altogether such as one of you and I will reprove you and set you in order before my eyes, set them in order before my eyes, no matter what your translation says. Let me tell you what the original Hebrew is. The original Hebrew is God's going to take all of your sins and line them up like a military army side by side. And on judgment day, if you have not repented, they're going to come like this marching towards you. Every secret sin, every lie, every homosexual act, every lewd piece of behavior, every pornographic picture that you lusted over, everything's going to come marching towards you. And the Bible says, verse 22, you that forgot God, I will tear you to pieces and there will be none to deliver you. Peter says it like this. The reason people were sending second Peter three, three through 11, he says, they say, where is the promise of his coming? He's not coming. He hadn't come. Your granddad said he was coming. He didn't come. Your grandma said she was coming. Your great great granddad said he was coming. Wesley said he was coming. Whitfield said he was coming. Spurgeon said he was coming. He ain't come yet. He's not going to come in lifetime either in my lifetime. So eat, drink, and be merry for tomorrow. I die. Others believe that it won't be a difficult transition from here to up there because they're going to stand before a very meek, mild, loving God and experience unparalleled forgiveness here. We go guys. Without exception, everyone within the sound of my voice will one day face the judgment of God. Everyone say judgment of God. One day, my friend, your name will be called. Your ticket will be punched. A warrant will be issued for your arrest. Your time will come. The test will be over. You'll be ordered to put your pencil down, turn your exam paper over and put your hands on your desk. As sure as the sun rises in the East and sets in the West, you will face the judgment of God. As sure as one in one is two, you will face the judgment of God. As certain as death comes to every believer and every human being, you will face the judgment of God. As sure as water is wet and fire is hot, you will face the judgment of God. Remember the rich man and Lazarus and Luke chapter 16. Here he is pigging out his entire life while Lazarus is at his feet and the dogs are licking Lazarus's sores. And all the dog wanted was a few, all the, the beggar man wanted was a little cup of juice, maybe a little piece of his pizza, just something to eat. But the rich man didn't have time for Lazarus. And then the Bible says they both died. Hello revelation wherever you exist in life right now, friend, it is temporal. You can live in a million dollar home or you can live in a thousand dollar use trailer. The bottom line is you're just passing through. And then the scenario changed. And now who's begging? Lazarus is up there in Abraham's bosom, but the rich man, the rich man is on his face in hell asking for just a drop of water to touch his tongue. One bag here, one bag hereafter. Now in Luke 12, turn there. Luke chapter 12, verse 16. Now you're going to find how many have a red letter edition. Okay. When the scribes and the writers first wrote the Bible, they didn't have red ink and black ink. Okay. The red letter edition came out in 1901, 1901 by the man by the name of Klopsch K L O P S C H. And the reason he came out with a red letter edition is he was reading all about the blood and he was broken in his spirit over the blood of Christ. And he thought to himself, you know, if I could just cause most people to read the Bible, to feel what I feel right now. So I wonder if publishers would like to put this, the words of Jesus in red. And this is in 1901. So all the generations before you that had Bibles and there was a couple of generations, you know, they started printing back in the 1500s, a couple of generations that had Bibles, you know, several generations, several hundred years. Suddenly we get the red letter edition. It took them, took the world by storm. One is it was one thing in the publishing world that it didn't argue about. They argued about everything else. But when this guy said, let's put the words of Jesus in red, it was unanimous around the world. Look at this. It's in red, Luke 12, 16. And Jesus spoke a parable unto them saying the ground of a certain rich man brought forth plenty. And he thought within himself saying, what will I do? Because I have no room where to bestow my fruits. And he said, this, I will do. I will pull down my barns and build bigger ones. And there will I bestow all my fruits and my goods. And I will say to my soul soul, you have many goods laid up for many years. Take your ease, eat, drink and be merry. But God said unto him, you fool this night, thy soul shall be required of thee. Look this way suddenly. Now this is Jesus speaking. And for those of you that are listening to this on the web that are peddling some type of tainted gospel, I would encourage you to do some word searches and some subject studies on what Jesus preached on. Jesus was constantly dangling his men and women over hell. He didn't hesitate saying things like weeping and gnashing of teeth. And I can see Peter turning John and saying, my God, what kind of place is that? It's a place you don't want to go. John. I heard what you said to Peter. You boys stay close to me because I am the truth, the way and the life. What about Belshazzar? You read about him back in Daniel chapter five, verse 24. Here he was pigging out using the temple goblets, using the things of the Lord and a hand began to ride on the wall. Belshazzar that night was just coming to a party, but it was his last party, my friend. And the hand wrote, God has numbered your kingdom. You are weighed in the balance and found wanting your kingdom will be divided and given to the Medes and the Persians. And that night Belshazzar crashes dead along with the king of the Chaldeans. Just like the Bible said, the written word said, I'll tell you something friend of God writes it. You can believe it. What about Herod? I'm talking about people that die suddenly that weren't ready. These people went immediately from their chaotic existence on earth to the throne room. The judge Herod is giving a speech out in a plaza. And the people said, he speaks as a God and Herod didn't give God the glory pride entered in. And he goes, wow, they like me. He was smitten by an angel thrown to the ground and worms ate him up and he died. Next news. You know, he's standing for God almighty. So Herod, they looked upon you as a God, huh? Tell me, Herod, who's God now? And then you have people like Paul, which I hope you are. When he wrote to Timothy chapter four, verse six, I'm ready to be offered the time of my departure, his hand at that hand. And there's laid up for me a crown of righteousness. I want to tell you, my friend, that's how I live. Are you ready? Robert Murray McShane said back in the 1840s, you had better die right the first time because you can't come back and try it again. Jim Elliott, the great missionary statesman said before he died, when it comes time to die, make sure that's all that you have to do. July 28th, 1982. Anybody remember that day, July 28th, 1982, about 110 miles from here, there was a plane that took off on last day's ministry had about nine people in it, Keith green, along with his little kids and some friends. And they were just going to circle the property and look at the view and show them David Wilkerson's property, show them Leonard Ravenhill's property, showing them youth with a mission property. Just fly them, show them where second chapter of acts were at. Show them where Dallas home was at. Just fly around the area. That's all they were going to do. Little did Keith know or I made part of me thinks he knew, but little did he know that he was going to go up, fly a couple of hundred yards, turn right back down and crash going to explode into flames. And his life was going to be over in his tombstone at his tombstone. He's got one child buried under that stone, one in his right hand and one in his left inside the casket. And it says gone to be with Jesus, gone to be with Jesus. He was so ready. You don't believe that. I think his album was songs for the shepherd that came out right before he died. He said, if I can't get closer, I surely will die. That whole album was just spooky because it was just almost in heaven. And then how about Leonard Ravenhill, November 27th, 1994, I was in his room. He had a stroke. He was 85 years old. I had a hold of his hand and my wife had become pregnant and Leonard had been praying that she could get pregnant because we were having difficulties. And, and I, and I grabbed Leonard's hand and I said, Lynn, Jerry's pregnant. And he was in a coma. He couldn't open his eyes. He couldn't move his mouth. And he squeezed my hand. He acknowledged that he heard me. And then I turned to Martha. I said, Martha, I want to pray for Leonard that God would raise him up. She said, you're wasting your time. He's at a place. He's always wanted to be in just a few minutes. He's going to be dead. He wants to be with Jesus. He was ready. How about Evelyn Roberts on her way to the dentist? Steps out, trips, falls, hits her head in the presence of the Lord. She was ready. Let me tell you something, friend. It's going to happen to everyone, whether you're ready or not. Here it comes. It's called the judgment. Also, it's a day of perfect justice. Everyone say justice. Now, true justice in the corny system we live in. Many people don't know what true justice is. People twist the laws, but true justice is based on fact. And the beauty of true justice when it comes to God is he was there when you were sitting, you know, what a judge wants is a witness. And what God's got is three, the father, son, and Holy ghost. And not only is he a witness, he has the time and date of when it all happened. True justice. Somebody here today. That means no one's going to get away with anything. Leonard Ravenhill put it like this at the judgment seat of Christ. All of our fig leaves will drop off. Remember what happened to Adam and Eve. As soon as they sin, they started covering themselves. That's religion. Okay. That's all our little ways of covering our little sins. We'll do everything. And we say, Oh yeah, right guys. You know, you're still exposed. You're naked in my sight on that day. The wheat will be separated from the chaff goats to the left sheep to the right. Now look at Luke chapter 12, verse three, Luke 12, three whatsoever you have spoken in darkness. Are these words in red? Whatsoever you have spoken in darkness shall be heard in the light. And that what you have spoken to the ear in closets shall be proclaimed upon the housetops. Luke eight 17, another scripture in red, nothing is secret. There shall not be made manifest. Neither anything hid that shall not be known and come abroad. My friend justice will rain on that day. And folks, forgive me. I'm only giving you of a hundred scriptures. There's more than a hundred. I'm giving you like 10 of a thousand scriptures. I'm giving you a hundred. That's how inadequate I feel when I'm preaching on this subject. Jesus spoke more about hell than he did about heaven. That lovely scripture, John three 16. It's not a love scripture. It's a damnation scripture for God. So love the world that all he loves or no read on that. Whosoever to believe with him should not perish. Oh, how many people look at that scriptures? You're dangling and the flames of hell are licking at your feet and you're pulling them up. And that's when Jesus says here, take a hold of my hand. That's John three 16. It's not dancing in this big parade and God, God is love. God is love. I can do anything. I can do anything. And he's going to bring me in. You were all perishing. I was doomed to hell. Are we here today? Oh, justice will reign. All the evidence will be in. God is keeping a record. Both sides of the story will be known. Every hideous sin will be revealed. Every murderous thought will be known. Every perverted sexual act will be screamed out in the courtroom of God. All lying, stealing, cheating, fornication, adultery, hate, idolatrous act, covetous desire, wagging tongue, every act of slander. And the list goes on and on. Everyone within the sound of my voice will be judged for what you did with Jesus. Remember what member pilot in Matthew 27, 22, it's recorded. What shall I do then with Jesus, which is called the Christ. What are you going to do with Jesus? Those of you in this room that have heard about him over and over and over again, how many times in America do you get a chance to get saved and you keep turning them down, turning them down, turning them down and other areas of the world. They haven't heard about him once. Preacher, you're a little too hard. Let's go to the great commission. Listen to what Jesus said. Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believes in his baptized shall be saved. He that believes not shall be damned. That's the great commission. That's red. It's either you're in or you're out. You're going to be judged for how you use your tongue. Write down Matthew 12, 36, every idle word. Oh, red words again. Every idle word. Jesus said, you shall give an account of on the day of judgment. You're going to give a, you're going to be held accountable for your time and your talent. These are all T words. Okay. See that your tongue, your time, your talent, those of you that have a talent, you better be using it for God. Okay. First Corinthians three 13, every man should be made. Every work should be made manifest for the day. She'll declare it because it should be revealed by fire and the fire shall judge every man's work of what sort it is. First Corinthians three 13, Leonard Ravenhill used to say to me, Stevie, he would say, Stevie, when you stand on judgment day, make sure you're not standing knee deep in ashes because he's going to judge everything that you do. He's going to judge the crusade that you guys hold on Monday nights. It'll be judged with fire. He will judge every one of the men's minutes. He will judge every one of your youth services. They'll be judged everything. It's all going to be judged. Our works are going to be judged and they're going to be tried by fire. And I have worked in a foundry before and I know exactly what that means because as they stoke the fire, you get it hotter and it goes from 500 to 800 to a thousand to 1200 to 1500 degrees. When you get up above 1500 degrees, you can watch a rock melt. Just watch a rock, just melt a rock that you could bust through a window. You could kill somebody with, you put it in that fire and it just melts. It disappears. Be judged by fire. And what's pure will remain. If it's pure gold, it will remain. The Bible says in Psalm 14, one, the fool has said in his heart, there is no God. I'm not calling anybody a fool here. I'm saying the Bible calls you a fool. If you say there is no God. Remember also in that final day, God's going to pull out an up-to-date journal. His journal is perfect. He's never skipped one day of recording. He knows all the details of every crime and situation, every sin you've ever committed. There's always the witness, the father, son, and the Holy ghost. He cannot be corrupted. He cannot be corrected. You're not going to edit his journal. That's not the way it really happened. Your honor. That's the way it happened. I'll never forget standing before a judge and I had, I was real snotty back in my drug days. And, and we went before the judge. This is an arraignment. And, uh, I told my lawyer, I said, I'm innocent of all these crimes. I'm innocent of every single one of them. He goes, you swear to me, man, you're telling the truth. Yeah, I swear. I didn't do any of this. And then a man walks into the courtroom and has a stack of papers this deep. And he says this on October 2nd, 1971, Steve Hill left his house at 6 AM in a blue Volkswagen. He was wearing Nike tennis shoes with a cutoff T-shirt. I mean, he just, he went three quarters of a mile stopped and met a man in a black Chevrolet. They got into his Chevrolet and drove to the mall parking lot East side and every detail. And as he was sharing this, my, my skin popped sweat. I mean, I was just, and it was like watching your life on television. You know, this is your life, but it's not a good program. And he shared every detail of everything I'd done for months. And I was popping sweat, standing there. My lawyer turns to me and goes, we need to talk. And I went in the back room and my lawyer stood over me. He said, let me tell you something. No amount of money can get you out of this. He said, you lied to me, son. He said, you lied to me. Now I can't represent you. You didn't even give me the opportunity to find a technicality. You lied to me. Reminds me of what this is going to be like young people. You can fool mama. You can fool daddy. That's why I don't have a problem with kids lie and stuff like that. I can't stand it, but I know that they're all going to get caught. Okay. There's a hound out there coming after you. Sometimes kids are going to be laying in your bed at night. You're going to feel the breath of that dog on your back. Just some blood hound going after you. That's your conscience driving you up the wall. You're going to get caught. There's nothing hidden. There's not going to be a trial by jury either. Anybody here today, men and women aren't going to, you're not going to be able to schmooze them with some type of rhetoric, you know, ridiculous rhetoric about how good you are. No, one's going to stand in proxy for you and say, she's wonderful. Your girlfriend or boyfriend won't be there to lean on your mom and dad. Won't be character witnesses. You have no opportunity to persuade anyone. No high paid flamboyant attorneys going to run in there and get you off on a technicality. You're going to be exposed before the judge of the universe. You're going to be no appeals, no retrials, no pleading insanity, no pleading to a lesser charge, no mistrial, no hung jury, no parole. Jonathan Edwards, his most famous message centers in the hands of an angry God. I carry this everywhere I go because this was America back in the 1600s and he stood over a church in Connecticut and he said, the bow of God's wrath is bent and pointed straight at your heart. And it's only the love of God that's keeping that arrow from flying and getting drunk on your blood. And people were screaming so loud. He said, quiet, let me finish my discourse on hell. They were so afraid they were going to fall into hell. There was claw marks or fingernails pressed into the wooden pews and they cut themselves trying to hold onto the pew from falling into hell itself. And his text was this Deuteronomy 3235, their foot shall slide in due time. In order to be found clean on judgment day up there, you've got to be washed in the blood of Jesus down here. In order to be found clean on judgment day up there, you've got to be washed in the blood down here for the judge to pronounce you guilty up there, not guilty up there. You got to get justified down here. That means someone steps in Jesus Christ washes you with his blood and it's just if you'd never sin justified, never sinned. Romans five, nine, by now being now justified by his blood, we are saved from the wrath. Someone say thank you, Jesus. The church in Corinth, first Corinthians six 11, but you are washed. You are sanctified. You are justified. Now parents look here, folks. I want everyone to hear this parents. You better thank God your kid is listening to this. And if your child is not here, you need to get the CD because your kid, I'm watching kids. I can see these kids. I've watched a couple of kids with their hand over their face like this. Others over just pinned to me, just like this, watching every move I make talking about hell, talking about judgment, they're listening. And maybe because we preach the whole council of God, maybe your kid, when he gets to be 14, 18, 20, 21, 29, 37, 40, and something comes his way and is the opportunity to embezzle funds or to commit murder or commit sodomy or some hideous sin. Maybe he'll turn to his friends and go, Oh this far, no farther, man. Listen, there's a judge out there. What are you talking about? There's a judge out there. Oh, you're talking about that. God thing. Yeah, it's real, man. It's real. It's real. For those of you that are from other religions, there's only one way to be saved. And that through the shed blood of Jesus Christ, acts four 12. There is no other name under heaven given among men whereby we must be saved. Someone praise God over that. And Philippians two 10, every knee shall bow. The appointments been set. Your day is coming for those who have chosen to neglect the wooing of the Holy ghost. You decided to receive Christ some other time. You've neglected your savior's love. I'm warning you if you don't cast yourself before him down here, you'll be cast into hell up there. If you don't cry for mercy on your day of salvation down here, you'll cry in horror on the day of judgment up there and there will be held to pay.
