David Wilkerson

David Wilkerson (1931 - 2011). American Pentecostal pastor, evangelist, and author born in Hammond, Indiana. Raised in a family of preachers, he was baptized with the Holy Spirit at eight and began preaching at 14. Ordained in 1952 after studying at Central Bible College, he pastored small churches in Pennsylvania. In 1958, moved by a Life Magazine article about New York gang violence, he started a street ministry, founding Teen Challenge to help addicts and troubled youth. His book "The Cross and the Switchblade," co-authored in 1962, became a bestseller, chronicling his work with gang members like Nicky Cruz. In 1987, he founded Times Square Church in New York City, serving a diverse congregation until his death. Wilkerson wrote over 30 books, including "The Vision," and was known for bold prophecies and a focus on holiness. Married to Gwen since 1953, they had four children. He died in a car accident in Texas. His ministry emphasized compassion for the lost and reliance on God. Wilkerson’s work transformed countless lives globally. His legacy endures through Teen Challenge and Times Square Church.

Sermon Transcription
Glory to the Lord, it's wonderful to see so many people here. Let's give a big applause for our God. Hallelujah, hallelujah. We are very grateful for this time that we have here. As usual, we have a guest here, David Wilkerson, who writes from New York. But before that, we want to praise and honor the Lord. Are you ready to praise the Lord? There are two Christians here, some people who believe in God. You know, we live in difficult times. We live in a difficult time. Just a few years ago, basically two years ago, we remember the sad and tragic anniversary, the 11th of September in New York. And no one would have believed two years ago that something like this could happen. Recently, there was another press release about the Foreign Minister of Sweden. If you follow the news, Anna Lindová, who was brutally murdered in Sweden, the whole country, the whole nation is in shock. The government representatives don't even take bodyguards there, because the country was so safe. And what happened to our world? But we believe that there is hope in this harsh and cold world. We believe that there is hope in this cold world without love. And this hope is the person who calls himself Jesus Christ. It is the Bible, it is the Word of God, which is the bestseller of all time. It is said that 44 million copies of the Bible are sold all over the world annually. Harry Potter has no chance. The famous author of novels, Daniel Steele, has no chance. The Bible is still a book of books. The Bible is still a book of hope. The Bible is still the bestseller of all time. And it glorifies all nations, all social classes. And today we want to talk about this hope. Maybe you came today and lost hope. Maybe you are in this place and you say, but there is no hope for me. I remember a short story about a young man who was going to his city, to his own home, but he was going in the dark, in the harsh nature, and he got bored, and it was a very, very difficult journey. Suddenly, a mousetrap buried him. And when he got out of it, he noticed that there were some clouds there. And in order to shorten the journey and make it easier, he started to throw the clouds into the nearby mousetrap. It was bubbling nicely, and that made the journey easier. As the journey was getting closer and closer to his home, and the lights in the house began to shine more brightly, he saw that the clouds he was throwing were not ordinary clouds. Suddenly, the clouds began to get closer to the bright light. And when he looked closer, he saw that the clouds were diamonds. And when he went deep into the mousetrap, he found that there were only the last two left. Many of us were looking for the diamonds of our lives. Many of us, on the road, through the dark tunnel of life, through the harsh life where there is no love, we were looking for our talents, as if we were throwing away our lives, and we were living in vain. But I believe that today is the day when, in the light of God's Word, in the light of God's love, we will see that God has given us something that is worth it, that there are diamonds in our lives. It is never too late, brother and sister, it is never too late, friend. I welcome you very warmly tonight, and I ask you to find the value of the life that is in Christ. Please, let's stand up, let's start thanking the Lord, welcome Him, and we will praise Him with songs. Dear Lord God, dear Lord Jesus, we praise You in this place, and we thank You for the privilege that we are gathered like this, from the whole nation, in front of Your face. We thank You that Your book, the Bible, is a book of hope. That today we can expect hope where there is no hope. That today we can expect healing where there is a disease, freedom where there is a confusion, and light where there is darkness. We worship You and praise Your Holy Name, and we thank You that You will live on the praises of Your people. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen. I welcome my Lord, I have a new hope in my heart. I do not forget where I left You, You were enough for me. I follow Him, just follow Him. I am so glad. I am glad of this life. You can have it too. We can sing about the fact that we have a new hope, that we have a heart of peace, because we have someone who gives us the meaning of life. We have someone who leads our lives. I thank God that God is the one who leads every single one of us. God is with us. You can live, even now in this place, in this darkness. ...to sit down. Today we have a special guest. His name is David Wilkerson. He came with his son, Gerry Wilkerson, whom we also want to welcome. We can applaud as a sign of our respect and gratitude that they flew so far to come to us. Some of you may know that David Wilkerson's mother was from Slovakia. So he is our relative. One of us. David Wilkerson is 72 years old. He has a lot of services for God. He has a lot of experience. I believe that each of us will be able to contribute something. He wrote in 1989. Many of you who are here today took part in the demonstration for the railway tires, when we were ringing the bells. Do you remember that time? The last ringing. At that time I was studying at a high school, I was at the boarding school, and I got this book in my hand. I can see in your hand, who of you read the book David Wilkerson's D.K. Creech? 80% if I'm not mistaken. I don't know if these lights allow me to see. So you must have heard the stories of a young, well-educated preacher, who was called David Wilkerson. Nicky Cruz, who was one of the leaders of the gang, and then he turned around and really met God's love, or Israel, or Angela. Those stories touched my life. I literally cried over many of those chapters. They changed my life. Today we have David Wilkerson here personally. I believe it will be very interesting to hear the story of this brave man, weak in himself, but strong in God. And it will be very interesting to hear who shaped this simple man in his life, who has roots in Slovakia. But he has spiritual roots in the Kingdom of God. Glory to the Lord. David Wilkerson was born in New York. His book, D.K. Creech, was translated into 30 languages, and sold about 15 million copies. According to that book, he was in a film, which was seen by 50 million viewers in 150 countries around the world. It's really amazing. Maybe you're not a drug addict today, because we know he served mainly as a drug addict in the GTA, but each of us has our own problems. Each of us is on the same boat. The writer Arthur Conan Doyle once made a Canadian hot dog and shot himself with his friends. And 12 prominent men of the country, who were courteous, who were famous, were sent a telegram, where it said, everything is revealed, Richard, run. All 12 to 24 hours, they left the country. So maybe you're not a drug addict, but each of us has something that we're fighting for, and we can't change our past, but thanks to God, we can change our future, and thanks to God, we can change our eternity, through Jesus Christ. So let's clap our hands and welcome David Wilkerson. Let's pray. I pray, Lord Jesus, that while we're standing in your presence, you will come with mighty power, I pray, Lord Jesus, that you will come to everyone who came to this building. you want to do something miraculous tonight. You want to change hearts. You want to heal those who are broken. Lord, so many, and you know what's going on. You know everything about them. Lord, I want to see a miracle tonight. Lord, we want to see your miracle tonight. And we ask you, Holy Spirit, to take the word that I preach, and make it bring life. In Christ's name. Amen. And you may be seated. I'd ask you not to move around, if you will, please. And please, as we've said, please, no one coming here for pictures. And no walking around, if you will, please. This is a life and death moment. The lives of some young people especially. I'm going to talk to you about a cry without a voice. The Bible tells a story of somebody bringing to Jesus a bird here. Let's just read the story. You don't have to read it, because a lot of you can't see. We'll just read it for you. And again, departing from the coast of Tyre, they bring unto him, unto Jesus, one that was deaf, and had an impediment in his speech. They beseeched him to put his hand upon him. He took him aside from the multitude, and he spit and touched his tongue. And he looked up to heaven and sighed. And immediately his ears were opened, and there was a way of his tongue, and he spoke right. Now, we don't know who brought this. It may have been his parents. It may have been his friends. Here's a young man, and he's got a bird in his hand. He had a cry in his heart, and he couldn't speak it. He couldn't tell it to anybody. No, he doesn't plan. But I know who he is. He represents everyone in this building tonight that has a cry in your heart, and you can't explain it. You can't talk to anyone about it. Even your friends wouldn't know. No minister would know. Your parents wouldn't know. Your husband or wife can't understand. There's someone on the porch. There are wives here without their husbands. And there's a cry that you can't even express. There are ministers here that have a problem, and they can't express it. There's a cry in their heart. We see this all over the world, wherever we go. And they bring this man to Jesus, and he couldn't explain it. I wonder how often he wanted to say something. How many times did he try to say something? Nothing but a grunt. And I think I know what he was thinking. If I could just speak one time, if I could just get inside, I would scream to everybody. I'm not stupid. I have a good mind, but I can't speak. He would express the feeling that would have been pent up in his heart. He would say, none of you know what I went through. Nobody knew. I know who this young man represents. He represents many, many young people. Especially those who are people. And it's a mystery to me I'm 72 years old. And there's something I don't understand. Good young people, and many who go to church, but they're not on fire for Christ. They're so passive. There's no fire. Many of them don't use drugs. They don't drink alcohol. And they're good kids. But there's something inside they can't express. And there are things that amaze me. They live in various parts of the country. And when they come to hear me preach, they come to Times Square Church. And I see them sitting there. And they're not on fire for Christ. They're gentle, they're loving. They love their grandfather. They love me. And they know that I pray. They know I speak the heart of God. And I'll preach with tears. And when I give an invitation to young people, come and give everything to Christ. I've seen a few of them totally unmoved. At least on the outside. And I can't understand it. So I went to one of my grandsons. And he was lifting weights. And I sat on the floor beside him. I said, you know, I love you. And I know you're a good boy. And you don't want to run around with a crowd. And I know you're morally clean. But I never see you read your Bible. I never see you pray. I never see you reaching out to Christ. If you really have Him in your life, there should be some evidence. But what? What's this passivity about? And I asked this to one of my grandsons. I said, I drove here today. And I don't want to leave until you tell me what's going on in your heart. I have to have an explanation. He said, Grandpa, I can't tell you. I'm not a bad kid. But there's something in my heart. I'm confused. I'm confused about the future. I'm confused about my relationships. I'm confused about my behavior. I'm confused about I have so many questions. And I'm not mad at God. But I can't explain it. If I could, I'd tell you. But I'm all bound up inside. I tried to talk it out of him. He just shook his head. He said, Grandpa, it's the same way with all my friends. You can't explain what you're going through. People expect something of you. And you see what's going on in the world. And you hear all of these things about how you're supposed to behave. And you want to talk. You want to express it. But I don't know how. And I had to leave. I got in my car. And I had put my head down on the steering wheel. And I said, Oh, God. I hear a cry. There's some kind of a cry in him. But it has no voice. And that's how this message was born in my heart. A whole generation confused. They don't understand. They are not mad at God. But they are into relationships that are wrong. They have all of this demonic activity all around them. Think of Harry Potter. Think of all the dragons. Think of all the occult activity that's going on. The anti-Christ spirit in the schools. Broken homes. All the pressures. And they end up with this cry that they can't express. They're our husbands. They come to me later. I invited my husband. The first time he came today. He's a good husband. But he doesn't know God. And I've been asked. And he came. He's been here three Sundays now. He loves the music. He loves what you're preaching. And he just likes to be there. He says, there's a nice feeling in your church. I said, why don't you give your heart to Christ? He said, I can't explain it. I don't know. There's something inside. And when I know it's time, I'll come. But I just can't tell you what's inside my heart. I don't know what your cry is tonight. But I know one thing about this boy. He needed an encounter with Jesus. He had heard about Christ. Others no doubt gave him sign language. And he explained through sign language. What a waste. How Jesus healed them. And I want to tell you something. Every one of your young people. If your parents are here tonight. Your young people are not serving Christ. You may have a child that's on drugs. You may have a daughter that's running around. Sleeping with her boyfriend. You may have a troubled group of children in your family. And they're like this young man. They can't hear. And they can't speak. Because there's something bound up inside. Satan has it all bound up inside. Can you imagine if it was a mother? I don't know whether he was born that way. I don't know what to say. But can you imagine how foolish it would be? For them to rebuke this boy? And say, why don't you listen to me? Why don't you talk? You can't force it. He doesn't have the ability to talk. He doesn't have the ability to hear. And that's the problem with many parents. Can you imagine these parents saying, I'm going to love him so much I'm going to love him into hearing and my love will heal his speech. Let me tell you straight. You can't love them out of their sin. You can't talk to them out of their sin. The only hope they have is to be in a meeting like this or a friend who speaks to them who has an encounter with Christ. They have to be face to face with Jesus. They have to have their own encounter with Christ. And they can't get there themselves. The Bible said he was brought to Christ. How do we bring our family to Christ? Those who are spiritually mute, you do it through prayer. Intercessory prayer. Weeping. Brokenness. I have a mother come backstage in church. She comes backstage. Our church is in a theater. And come backstage. She says to me, please pray for my son, he's in prison. He's a pusher. In the last 30 days, how many hours have you prayed for your son? How many tears have you shed for your son? You're asking me to pray for your boy. I'm asking you. How much time have you prayed? She bows her head. She said, well, tell you, I... And I work long hours. I have no time to pray. I haven't prayed for him. I said, and neither will I. I won't pray for your son. You really don't want him saved. You don't care about him being saved. Because I know what God is telling me about you. And I say it with love and kindness. You come home tired at night. And you turn on television. And you sit there for hours. You have hours for everything else. And you have no time to pray for your children who are lost. Listen to me, Mother. Father. You have a son in trouble. You have a daughter in trouble. Don't tell me you want a season change. When you have hours to sit and laugh in front of a television set. You have time for the shopping malls. You have time to get on the telephone and talk to friends. When's the last time? When's the last time? We have millions of kids from Christian homes going to hell. And their parents are not praying. They're not asking God to send the Holy Ghost and convict them. The only way you can bring your children to Jesus is to get an encounter with Him. Is to get a burden from God. Say, oh God, if I don't pray nobody's going to pray. And my boy, my girl can go to hell if I don't pray and seek God. And one day when you stand at the judgment hear me, Mother, Father. And you say, well, I'm going to be here. Oh, I'm on my way to heaven. When you see your children the Bible says they will give an account for every sin. When you see the book open on their life and you hear them pronounced I wonder if they I wonder if there won't be a last moment scream. Why didn't you stop me? Why didn't you stop me? Why didn't you pray for me? Why did I never hear you pray? Why did I never see you weep over me? I go to hell and you go to heaven? They brought Him to Christ. And they convicted Him, they besought Him till they had nothing to give Him. Here's what Jesus did. The Bible said Jesus took Him aside. He took Him away from the crowd. One on one. You see, Jesus knows the problem. He knew what this boy was going through. He said, I'm not going to let this be a show. And I'll tell you what I hate and what I despise. To go where is called a healing meeting. Now there are some genuine healing meetings. And I'm not condemning all healing evangelists. But I've been in meetings. And I've seen people brought to the front. Some of them can't speak and can't hear just like this boy. And they're in front of a crowd. And then they stand back here and say, can you hear me? And they keep backing away, can you hear me? And everybody's clapping. And that boy goes away. He's learned to read lips. He can't hear, but he can read the man's lips. And if somebody meets him down here, he wants to run out the back door. Because they made a fool out of him. They made a show out of it. And I see that in Pentecost. I see it on Christian television. It's a mockery of the Holy Ghost. It's a mockery of the power of Jesus Christ. He took him aside. He said, I'm not going to make a show out of this. You're hurting. You need healing. You need a miracle. But is that between you and me? Jesus did not condemn him. Jesus didn't rebuke him. Jesus didn't try to tell him to sign language. He did not try to communicate miraculously. And say, this is because of sin. I believe he walked arm in arm with this boy. He put his arm around his shoulder. And just says, come. Away from everybody. So they can have an encounter with Jesus. You see, Jesus won't put you to shame. He won't make a spectacle out of you. When you hurt. And when you're going through a cry. And you come to Jesus. And you say, I'll tell you what happens in a meeting like this. There's a big difference between this story and what we have here tonight. Since this story, the Holy Ghost has been given. And he's the one who brings you to Jesus. And tonight while I'm speaking. The Holy Spirit is here. And while I'm speaking. He's bringing you. He's calling you. And the Holy Spirit's saying, come on. Come to Jesus. I'm going to speak to your heart. And you're going to have a changed life tonight. Jesus stands face to face with him. The Bible said he put his fingers in his ears. I used to think that that was Jesus putting his finger in the boy's ears. And the Bible said he spit and touched his tongue. I thought that was Jesus spitting on the boy's tongue. That's not what it said. I believe Jesus has given him sign language. He's putting his fingers in his ears. Open. I'm going to open your ears. And Jesus spit. A tongue tied man can't spit. His tongue is tied to the roof of his mouth. And what Jesus is saying. Put out your tongue. And he just touches his tongue. And what he's saying to him. You're going to be normal just like me, like every other man. You're going to be able to hear. You're going to be able to speak. You're going to be able to spit. That may sound crude to you. But that was a miracle to think that that boy could do such a thing. And then the Bible says. He sighed a sigh. Looking up to heaven he groaned. He hadn't healed him yet. But he sighed. A heaviness. In the original it infers that there was a loud groan. I imagine something like this. Oh! And what was the cry? Jesus is feeling the pain of this boy. All the shame. All the years. All the nights. Wanting to speak. Wanting to hear. Wanting to be free. And that cry that Jesus made. Was Jesus looking down through history. Even to this night. Into this building. Into the seat where you're sitting. And he was hearing your cry that was inside. That cry that was pent up inside of you. I have worked with drug addicts for 40 years. And I've seen Jesus hear that cry. And how many times Jesus groaned. A drug addict in Brooklyn. So sick of his drug habit. On the brink of suicide. He's been in many programs and nobody can help him. And he's in a little room. He lays on his bed. He takes his needle. Sticks it in his arm. Sucks the needle full of blood. And he aims the needle at the ceiling. And he squirts this word. H-E-L-P. Help. A cry. No voice. But God heard that cry. Jesus saw that word help in his own blood. And Jesus healed him. Another drug addict. He said if I could just have three days locked in my room. He stole some police handcuffs. He went into his room. Locked the door. And handcuffed a big steam radiator. 50, 60 pounds. And he handcuffed himself to it. This was the heat. Gave heat to the room. And for hours he sat there handcuffed to the radiator. But he got so sick. So desperate. He tried to break the handcuffs. It only made him bleed. He couldn't break away. And after a few hours. In anger. He ripped it right out of the wall. Broke it from the pipe. Put it on his back. And went to the pusher. To get a bag of heroin. To kill his pain. And Jesus saw the burden that he carried. And Jesus heard that cry. One boy. Looked at his arm. He'd been on drugs for about 14, 15 years. And had left a big track on his arm. From so many hits. And he said, every time I look at that track. I'm reminded I want to go get a fix. If I could just get rid of that track. He got an iron frying pan. Put it on the stove. Got it white hot. Wrecked. Closed his eyes. Pushed it on his arm. To burn it off. Ran screaming. To the pusher. To get heroin to stop his pain. I've seen it for 40 years. This cry. There are some of you here tonight. Only God knows what your cry is. You see, we have a lot of people here tonight. Especially young people. If you would ask them, they'd say, I'm a Christian. What they mean, well, I have a Catholic background. I have a Protestant background. What they mean is, I was born religious. But I want to tell you something. Walking into a barn doesn't make you a horse. Going swimming doesn't make you a fish. And going to church doesn't make you a Christian. Going to mass doesn't make you a Christian. You have to have an experience with Jesus. And he's the only one that can heal you. There's a young actress in our church two years, a few years ago. And she would sit on this side. She was in a... beautiful young lady. Everybody thought she had everything that she could want. But you could see something in her eyes. And she would cry during the preaching. We tried to reach her. She had some friends that were praying with her. But she wouldn't listen. She was invited so many times. I invited her a number of times. Come. Jesus can solve your problems. Jesus knows what you're going through. She said, nobody cares. Nobody understands. There's no reason to live. She committed suicide. Met another boy. His mother's in our choir. He used to know Christ. At least he said he did. But he was this one that I'm talking about. So passive. No fire. No great love for Christ. So he tried other religions. He ended up as an Islamic. But it confused him. But this mother was praying for him. Every day. She sought God. She said, oh God, bring him home. Open his eyes. Help him to hear the preaching here at Times Square Church. She said, I'll do it. She told me how she would hold him. He gets so discouraged. He goes up. I think it was 10 stories high. Went to the edge of the roof. He said, I'm so confused. There's no use. And he jumped. But he didn't die. He broke a leg. Came to church. He said, I wanted to die. I can't even die. Because my mother prayed for me. My mother prayed for me. That boy is in our church on fire for God. My other son has just made a movie. About young people who had a miracle. And he's one of the boys in this film. You don't have to jump. You don't have to overdo it. Whatever it is. Let the Holy Spirit speak to you now. In just a moment. I'm going to give you an invitation. I'm going to be the one the Holy Ghost uses. To bring you face to face with Christ. Jesus said to this boy. Efatha. Means, he opens. He was healed. And immediately he was opened. Immediately he was healed. You don't have to scream at God. It's not some big scene we're looking for. It's just a heart. That says, I want to be free. And this is the last thing I want to say. God knows all about you. He knows what you've been doing. He knows what you've been doing. He knows what your eyes have been looking at. And he knows where your hands have been. He knows all about your relationships. He knows everything you've been doing. Every thought you've been thinking. And he's not here to condemn you. He's not here to put you down. He knows every marriage. That's going through hell. But God knows the pain. He knows what you're going through. And Christ the healer is here tonight to change it. We're going to see miracles here tonight. You'll watch and see. Die, please. And be turned off, please. Jesus, just as I said, I'm not going to make a spectacle of it. Would you shut this down, please? Thank you. I want everybody to stand. No one is going to see you. Nobody is going to film you. This is between you and Jesus. I'm going to ask you while I'm praying to open up your heart. I know something because the Holy Spirit spoke it to my heart. Between 5 and 6 o'clock I was praying and the Holy Spirit spoke to my heart that there were going to be a number coming up here tonight at the end of their self they said, I can't go on anymore. I can't take anymore. And that God was going to do a miracle and save a lot of people from suicide. He's doing this all over the world. He's going to do it here tonight. And while I pray if God's been speaking to you tonight if you say, Brother David, this message was for me no matter how young or old you are especially if you've been passive towards Jesus you've lost the fire. You've just put on a front but deep inside you know what's happening. And so does Jesus. He loves you and He wants to heal you tonight. And while I pray I want you to get right out of your seat and I want you to come up here and stand in the front. In the next five minutes you're going to see hundreds of young people up here you're going to see some married people up here you're going to see some people of all ages you're going to have an encounter a miraculous encounter a life-changing moment. Forget everybody else around you because when I pray Holy Spirit's going to tug at your heart and say, Come on. Tonight is the night. And when you feel that tug some of you have it right now get right out of your seat. If your friend wants to come I don't want any counselors to come right now. I want you to wait. I see people coming already. When you come, we'll get real close because many people are going to be coming. I'll be in the main auditorium. Oh Holy Spirit, come now. Spirit of the Living God Precious Holy Spirit We need a miracle tonight. There are many who have to be healed. Jesus, many hearts that have to be healed. Many hearts that have to be healed. Oh Holy Spirit, come now and call. All of this house all of this building bring them to you, Jesus. Holy Spirit, bring them to Christ. Do it now, Jesus. Just follow these that are coming. No one will beg you or plead with you. You come because the Holy Spirit is calling you. A beautiful miracle is happening. Let it happen to you. Please move in as close as you can. Come as close as you can. Jesus, do something for me tonight. I can't go another day. I have to have a touch tonight. I have to have a miracle in my life tonight. We'll wait. We're not trying to make something happen. We're just giving the Holy Spirit time to finish His work. I see so many young people weeping as they come. I see older folks The Holy Spirit is trying to touch your hearts. Please so I can talk to you. I want to talk to you face to face. No cameras. I'm going to do something I don't do very often. I don't want you to be honest with me. I want to know I don't care how old or how young you are. Things have gotten so bad your burden has become so heavy. The shame. You've had thoughts of suicide. You've had thoughts of taking your love of life. I want you to raise your hands. Raise them. There's a lot of people. Raise your hand. Now I know why God burned this in my heart. Because we're going to see a miracle now. The devil is not going to get one of you. Not one of you. Not one of you. It has to be a decision. And it has to be something that you say in your heart. No one can help me. No pastor. No friend. No human being. No one can help me but Jesus. He alone can help me. I want you to believe that now. I want you to believe that He loves you. He's not condemning you. He wants to forgive you. If you've been into pornography you've been hooked on pornography. He wants to heal you. He wants to take every evil thought out of your mind. The Lord gave me a scripture tonight before I came to the service. The Bible says cleanse yourself from all filthiness of your ego. Perfecting holiness in the fear of God. You can't do it yourself. But you can ask God to put His holy fear in your heart. And you can get so in love with Jesus that you can say Jesus, break the power of sin in my life. Some are on drugs that are here. Some are on alcohol. He wants to set you free. And Jesus set this boy free by just speaking a word. Now will you believe God with me now? And I want you to pray this loud, loud. And this will be just like with the young man I was talking about. I want you to open up your heart. And what is locked up just let it out as you pray. I want to hear these words loud and clear. I come only to you. You are the only one who can help me. Forgive me, Lord Jesus. I had problems. I was confused. And now I need your miracle. I tell you this in faith. I trust you, Jesus. You will not disappoint me. You will not humiliate me. Hear my cry. I love you, Jesus. And all that I have I surrender to you. Raise your hands and in your own words play it out loud tell Jesus thanks. Say thank you, Jesus. Thank you for hearing my cry. Thank you for hearing my prayer. Thank you for seeing my tears. Thank you Jesus. I thank you right now for a miracle. I am going to be healed starting right now. Give glory to Jesus right now. I want every Christian in this house to give Jesus thanks. Thank you, Jesus. Lift up your hands and thank the Deliverer King of kings and Lord of lords who has all power and all authority over the devil and every habit and every sin. Thank you, Jesus. And I want to pray for everyone who raised their hands and I know in my heart if he had not personally met you there could have been a disaster but God so loved you. He so cared about you. He brought you to this place at this time. Now I am going to pray with authority against the power of the devil and the power of the enemy. Those thoughts are from hell. Those are implanted by the devil. So I am going to ask Jesus to give you his mind. And every time that happens just say this word Mercy, Jesus. Mercy. Jesus, hold me. Keep me. Just cry that and the enemy will run. Those thoughts will be broken and we are going to break the power of that now. And I want every believer in this house to believe in the power of prayer which is an ask and it shall be done. We are going to ask the Father in the holy name of Jesus the name that has all power that there will not be one suicide. Not one. Father in the name of Jesus we come against the powers of darkness and every evil thought and every seed of thought that has been planted we bind those thoughts. Oh God by your Spirit cast them out. Kill those thoughts. Destroy them. Jesus, give us your mind. Fill us with your Holy Spirit. Give us a new heart. Give us new hope. Glory to Jesus. The power of Satan is broken. Glory to Jesus. The power of the devil is broken in my life. Glory be to Jesus. And his mercy is great. I don't want you to leave here tonight if you are still in pain. And while I pray again, I want you just to give that pain to Jesus. Jesus, I can't take it out of this place tonight. I can't go out the way I came in. So while I pray, give him your pain. Don't be afraid to cry. Sometimes those tears just wash the pain. Oh Jesus, you know the pain. I feel there's still a lot of pain. Lord, I ask you now, to help everybody that's weeping. Everybody that's hearing this pain. Take it away. Bring healing. Bring healing. Right now. In Jesus' name. Would you just reach forward? And put your hand on somebody's shoulder next to you. And would you pray for them right now? Just pray a nice prayer. Say, Jesus, help this brother, help this sister. Take the pain away. Come on, do it right now. I want everybody in the building. I want you to pray. If you want to take somebody by the hand. Somebody next to you needs prayer. Somebody needs a miracle. Put your hand on somebody's shoulder. And just pray. Everywhere. All over the building. Let's share a prayer and go up to heaven. Jesus wants to break the pain. He wants to bring healing to those who need healing. It can't be just my prayer. It has to be your prayer. Let's share that cry of prayer. Jesus, take the pain. Jesus, heal the tears. Heal every broken heart. Thank you, Jesus. Thank you, Holy Spirit. Thank you, Heavenly Father. You are in this house tonight. You are here to heal. Thank you, Jesus. Keep praying. Miracles are happening. As you pray. Miracles are happening. Please don't stop praying. Somebody's life is being saved. Hallelujah. Thank you, Jesus. God answer prayer. Hear this cry. Hear it from the depths of our heart. Please look this way for just a moment. I want to speak to just those who came forward. If you came here to surrender everything to Jesus, and you need somebody to talk to, you need somebody to pray with you, and some of you say, I don't want to be sure that Jesus loves me, that I understand what's going on. Some of you have never come forward in a meeting like this. You've never done this before. And some of you have been running away from Christ. But you're coming back to Jesus tonight. And you've already done that here. There. We have a room prepared. Can we go both sides, both ways, or just this way? Both ways. Here's what I want you to do. And the Holy Spirit will tell you. Because there'll be something in you say, I need more. You can go this way. Asher, will you show me here? And there's a brother right over here. Yes, in his Bible up there. Follow these two guys. From right here, on this side, you go that way. On this side, you go right here. And we have some material to give to you. To help you. You don't sign anything. We just want to pray with you. We're not trying to get you to join a church. But we want to see you go here. So please keep following those who are going that way. And those who are going that way.
