Sermon Summary
Phil Beach Jr. emphasizes the distinction between Gentiles, who seek material things, and sons of God, who seek the heart of the Father. He highlights the importance of having no part darkness in our lives, urging believers to embrace light and reject any form of darkness. The sermon calls for self-examination and a desire for a single-hearted devotion to God, as true clarity and judgment come from a heart filled with light. Beach encourages the congregation to pray for a deeper love for light and a rejection of darkness, emphasizing that true Christianity is about being transformed by the light of Christ.

Father, we thank you for your presence. We thank you for your lovely son. We thank you, Lord, that we we approach you by the merits of your son, our savior. We thank you, Lord, that our righteousness comes from him and by him, our sanctification comes from him and by him. We thank you, Lord, for the Holy Spirit, who faithfully reveals the heart of the Son, the passion of the Son of God, continuously setting us free from man centered Christianity, self centered Christianity, me centered Christianity, I centered Christianity and places us secure upon Christ centered, God centered Christianity. Now, Father, we pray for grace today. This word, O God, cannot be received either by myself or those who hear it. Without an influx of the Holy Spirit, without abundance of grace. And so I ask, Lord, that you would grant this to us today. Give us meek hearts, humble spirits. Take down our defense system. Wash our minds from the way that we have thought and renew them by the power of your word so we think properly. Please, Lord, let there be lasting change in our lives from your word today. We pray for Christ's sake. Amen. And last week we spoke on Sons Seek the Heart of God. Gentiles Seek Things. Today will be part two. The subtitle for today is No Part Darkness. You may, if like, turn your Bible to Luke chapter 11, verse number 33 down to 36 is going to be the main text from which we will derive the heart of the Lord through the Holy Spirit's power. Gentiles Seek Things. Sons Seek God. Sons are after the heart of the Father. Now, we know that that is what Jesus taught us in Matthew chapter six. As we looked at it last week, Luke chapter 11, beginning in verse number 33. No man, when he has lighted a candle, puts it in a secret place, either under a bushel, but on a candlestick that they which come in may see the light. The light of the body is the eye. Therefore, when thine eye is single, thy whole body also is full of light. But when thine eye is evil, thy body also is full of darkness, if thy whole body, therefore, be full of light. Notice the phrase having no part dark. Now, please take special notice of that. It is not accidental. That the Holy Spirit put this in this text. Matter of fact, it is essential, imperative of utmost importance that we ask the Lord to write that phrase upon the tablet of our heart and open up the meaning of that phrase and make it good in our life as individuals and as a body of believers. Verse. Now, listen carefully, if my whole body be full of light, having no part dark, the whole shall be full of light. And when the bright shining of the candle doth give the light, having no part dark. Dark. Today, we're going to look into the word of God. And we're going to let the word of God and the Holy Spirit. Reveal. Our hearts. So that we might be able to see. Any part. That may be dark. Please, if you would turn your Bible to Matthew. Matthew, chapter seven, beginning in verse number five or verse number one, excuse me. Judge not that ye be not judged. Now. It is evident from the text as well as from other scriptures that this scripture is not a blanket statement that we are never to judge anything. That is contrary to the teaching of the Bible. What Jesus here is referring to in context. And that is. Do not judge falsely. Do not judge after the flesh. But with righteous judgment, we ought to be judging. But Jesus masterfully and wonderfully shows us. The root cause of wrong judgment. See, not only does he tell us not to judge falsely, but he illustrates. A condition which. Results in false judgment when we are guilty of that position, and that's what we're going to read. Now, watch this. Now, this this inner weaves with Luke chapter 11, verses 34 through 36. If I and I be single, if if if I and I. Be single, no duplicity, if if there's nothing, listen, if there's nothing blinding your eye, if your eye is focused, your whole body is full of light. Now watch for with what judgment you judge, you shall be judged. And with what measure you need, it shall be measured to you again. Jesus is here saying this basically. Whatever the standard of measure is. That you are using. In order to assess and make a judgment about something that will be the same standard that will come upon you. That's what the phrase in verse two, the latter part, verse two, the latter part means with what measure you meet. That word means a standard of measure. It shall be measured to you. Now, watch verse three. Why beholdest thou the moat or the twig or the sawdust? OK, take the moat as a little twig or or some sawdust or toothpick. Why do you behold the twig that is in your brother's eye? Now, let's stop right here. What is the text now showing? There's judgment going on right now. Jesus is saying he's giving an illustration of judgment now. He's speaking about a person beholding, looking, seeing somebody. And they see a twig. A fault. Something inconsistent with the character of God, OK? Now, judgment's going on now. So why now he's illustrating now how false judgment occurs. Watch. Why beholdest thou the moat that is in thy brother's eye? But considereth not there is a judgment occurring in this text. That is assessing the condition of another person, but not considering one's own self. OK, now watch. Watch what happens when this condition is present. This is a commentary to Luke, chapter 11. This expands on the meaning of Luke 11. If thine eye be single, thy whole body is full of light. If thine eye be single, you will judge properly. If thine eye be single, you will see clearly. But if thy eye be evil, and we learned last week, an evil eye is simply a divided heart. Believe what Mike said, divided heart. We had a few other excellent answers. What is an evil eye? A divided heart. Remember, David said, one thing I do. Paul said, one thing I do, forget about what lies before me. I stretch forth that I might obtain the prize and win Christ. One thing, one thing, a single heart, a single mind, a single passion, a single desire. Such a condition could have never been obtained, carried under the Old Covenant. But we're not under the Old Covenant. Much of the church is stumbling over the requirement of God because they're approaching it as a creature trying to become something. Brothers and sisters, anything, anything that God's Word says in the New Covenant is never intended for you and I to suddenly begin to try with our might and our power to become what God says. No, it reveals what God promises to make those who will believe that He is and that He rewards those who diligently seek Him. The New Covenant is a promise from God of what He will do in you as you simply come to Him in your poverty. So don't stumble. I recently was talking to a brother that is perceived to be of spiritual maturity and a leader among many Christians and shared a little bit of this and he stumbled. Oh, that's a high standard Phil. I don't believe that's possible. Oh my God, in meekness, oh brother, well, praise the Lord. I'll pray, you pray for me. And I thought of the spies who went into Canaan and the ten came back and they said, Oh, surely the land is filling with milk and honey and surely the grapes, we brought the grapes back. It's a prosperous land. But oh, there's great giants in the land. We can't do it. We can't do it. The heart of unbelief looks at the promise of God and the claim of God and says, Oh, yes, they are lovely things. Oh, yes, my God, they are something to be desired. But oh, it's impossible. God wants to birth into your life and my life the heart of Joshua and Caleb. Who silenced the ten spies who brought an evil report to the congregation of Israel and who silenced the congregation and spoke up and said, Brothers, brothers, listen, listen, listen, we are surely able. We are surely able. God is with us. God has promised. God has promised us, brothers and sisters. And so a single heart is a heart fashioned by grace, fashioned by the Holy Spirit's power that lays hold to the promise of God and refuses to be turned aside by anything, anything. And if it's a question between following the Lord fully or prospering, assuming the two are not compatible, then the Son, the Son says, Oh, thou prosperity, be thou behind me. I go forward with my Lord. If it's a matter of following the Lord fully or staying back with some of your friends, some of your friends, the Son at heart says, Though none go with me, still I will follow. Now, let me tell you, the spirit of this world will not give you this kind of heart. The spirit of the world will take this kind of heart from you. If you are discipled by the spirit of this world, you will have a divided heart, a heart full of unbelief. You'll have just enough Christianity to appease your conscience. You'll have just enough Christianity to assure you that you're not going to suffer eternally in hell for your sins because you're trusting in the gift of God and eternal life. You'll have just enough to have a conscience at ease, but you will be aimless and eventually become ensnared and unprofitable in the kingdom of God, not satisfying the heart of God. So here's the commentary. What we're eventually going to do is we're going to look at the areas that are causing darkness in our life so that we can cry out to God for mercy and get a single heart once again. And see clearly. We're going to identify them very specifically. But this is a foundation. Why beholdest thou the moth that is in thy brother's eye, but considers not the beam, the piece of timber, the telephone pole? That is where? In your own eye. Or how will you say to your brother, let me pull out the moth, the toothpick out of your eye, and behold, a beam, a telephone pole is in your own eye. You hypocrite. First, I cast the beam out of your own eye. Now watch. Watch. And then? And then what? Thou shalt see clearly. Do you think that you see clearly? It's not a loaded question. It's an honest question. Do you think that you see clearly? Are your assessments and judgments true, correct, right on? Well, don't ask yourself that question simply based on how you might feel. But ask yourself the question based on the truth of God's Word. In response to that question, the only answer that I could give is this. No. I do not see clearly unless I have been brought by the grace of God into a position and maintained a position by the grace of God where my eye is single. But the moment, the moment the eye becomes evil and there's something more light that is the motivating factor of my life, the moment that occurs, I cease from seeing clearly. And my vision is clouded. And I'm in need of a renewal and a restoration. Now watch. Cast the beam out of thine own eye and then thou shalt see clearly to cast out the beam out of thy brother's eye. No part darkness. The body, full of light. The eye, single. This is what Christ is looking for in His people. A single eye. A body full of light. No part darkness. The motivating power, the motivating energy behind the wellspring of our actions. The center of our being from which flows the desire to do, the desire to be, the desire to strive. God says that is where I'm looking for singleness of heart. Singleness of motive. Where there'll be no darkness. The body will be full of light. And there'll be clear vision. Now turn your Bibles to John, please. We're laying a foundation before we go into this. We're laying a foundation. If you are a lover of grace, you will truly seek grace when you see God's Word this morning. Verse number 18. He that believeth on Him is not condemned. John 3, verse 18. But he that believeth not is condemned already because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. This is the judgment. The condemnation. That word is judgment. It's actually the same word that Jesus used when He said judge not. This is the judgment. Listen, listen. The power of a divided heart rests, please listen carefully, the power of a divided heart listen, the power of your and my divided heart resulting in what? An evil eye and the body with darkness in it. The power that holds that position in our life is found right here. This is the judgment. Light is come into the world. Men love darkness rather than light. Without a continual influx of the grace of God and the Spirit of God and the Word of God without a continual influx of being under the power of the Divine Spirit of God when light comes, as Scripture says, we will love darkness rather than light because the darkness represents something evil in us. There is a great battle going on in the house of God today over light and darkness, over loving light or loving darkness. And we are in desperate need today in this late apostate hour, brothers and sisters, to fall before God and pray, Lord, make me a lover of light. Isn't it said of our Lord Jesus Christ? Thou hast loved righteousness and hated iniquity. This is the heart of the Son. Loving righteousness and hating iniquity. Now, for some of you, this might be a new concept. Many Christians don't even pray this way. But here's the new concept from God's Word. Why not begin to pray, Lord, I am not satisfied with partial deliverance. I am not satisfied with some light, a little mixture in my life. Lord, I come to see Your Word today and I pray that God will put faith in our hearts. Lord, I've been awakened by Your Word and by the Holy Spirit that is living in me. I have faith from the Son of God. I now desire that no part be darkness. My God, what a revolutionary prayer, Norton. My God, can you imagine a company of believers wrestling prayer by the power of the Holy Spirit because they've been awakened to an insatiable, heavenly-born desire to be a company of believers who truly are children of light and have no part with darkness. No part at all. Lovers lie. This dovetails with a few weeks ago. If you are a lover of light, what will you be doing? Seeking after light. Embracing light. Loving light. If I'm a lover of light and I see my brother light and that light exposes darkness in my life, I am going to pray and ask, Father, Lord, let that brother speak into my life. I want the light He's got. You cannot be a lover of light and walk in darkness. You cannot be a lover of light and be entertained by darkness. Thank you for that. Amen. You cannot be a lover of light. Listen, you might have a romantic interest in light. You know, nowadays, it's okay to love your wife and to sort of be infatuated with other women. It's okay nowadays. It's okay to be a two-timer. It's okay. But it's not okay in the kingdom of God. The Lord doesn't want a two-timing bride that comes and says, Oh, Lord, I love Thy light, but I sure love darkness once in a while too. And I thank You for grace. Oh, God, help us when grace is perverted to this extent where it enables us to feel that it's okay to love light and darkness at the same time. That is not the Bible doctrine of grace. Grace empowers us when we're ready by grace to conquer darkness and not be overcome by it. So I want light. If I'm a lover of light, Michael, I will be governed by light. I will seek out light from the countenance of Jesus Christ. I will seek light from the Word of God. For Thy Word is a light lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path. What else does it say in Psalms? In Thy light we see light. God is light and in Him there is what? No darkness. If we say that we walk in the light, but walk in darkness, we lie. Let me tell you something about darkness. My wife often kids me because I'm wired and this is a natural thing. It has nothing to do with spiritual. I'm wired where I like dark rooms, dark dining, dim the lights. I like to sit in a dark room. But Sarah, especially Sarah, until she starts paying the bills, but she would have every light on in the house. She likes it bright. I like it dark. I like dark rooms, dark restaurants, dark bedrooms. I can't stand it when there's a light downstairs in the other room that's making it way up into our bedroom. I have to go down and turn it off. I like it dark. It's just a natural thing. But I'll tell you something about darkness and light. When you're in the dark, you can't see. Did you ever try looking in a mirror where there's no light? What do you see? Nothing. You can look pretty bad. But if you look in the mirror, oh God, help us to see. If you look in the mirror, God's Word, with no light, you don't see anything. Guess what you come up with? Doctrines, a form of religion, patterns, theology, principles, good stories. But none of those things provide light and life. But when you go to God's mirror and you have got the light of life shining in your spirit, the Holy Spirit, and you cherish your relationship with the Holy Spirit, and you are begging God to keep your heart in a position where it doesn't grieve the Holy Spirit, where it doesn't resist the Holy Spirit, where it doesn't quench the Holy Spirit, where it doesn't lie against the Holy Spirit, like the Word of God says. When we recognize our utter need for the Holy Spirit's ministry, who alone is the source of light, who alone brings the light of God, who alone shines the light of God into the Word of God and makes it a living book. And so, the danger with darkness is nobody is bothered about what they see. In darkness, you can live in the state that you're in and not be troubled, not have to change. And that's why the Word of God says here in John 3, light is come. Brothers and sisters, light is coming. Light is shining from the Holy Spirit even now. Light is shining from the Word of God. Light is shining from the grace of God. And without a heart that begs God to be motivated and energized by the Spirit of God in us, we will have the tendency to resist light because light demands the exposure of all dull deeds. This is bright. This is the kind of light where you need to put sunglasses on. But brothers and sisters, this is what Christianity is. This is the call. I am the light of the world, Jesus says. He that follow with me will walk away. That's it. He that follow with me will not walk in darkness, but have the light of life. And so, in our foundational points here, we're learning a number of things that we want to mention because it's imperative. First of all, no part darkness. We must see that it is God's intention as the children of light, as the church, that we are to set our standard as high as the Lord's standard. Okay? Set it as high as the Lord. No part darkness. If you settle for a partial victory, that's what you'll end up with. God wants to awaken our heart. No part darkness. Number one, we saw the twig. Number two, we see the huge limb. Number three, we see consider not. And then number four, we see see not clearly. And then, what we just read now is love of light or love darkness. We're not going to be able to go to the next part of this Word and have it accomplish God's purpose unless we settle these issues right now. Let's just take some time and pray, Father, get these things in our heart. Get them in our heart. Brothers and sisters, the world, as I mentioned earlier, the world will not awaken you to these things. The world and the things of the world, 1 John chapter 2, love not the world, nor the what? Things. What do Gentiles seek after? Things. Connection? Uh-huh. See? For all that is in the world, what's he talking about there? The things of the world. What did Jesus say Gentiles seek after? Things. And then Jesus also identified some of the things that Gentiles seek after which are of the world. All that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life are what? Not of the Father, but of the world. Okay. 1 John, don't love the world, but let's stick here now. No part darkness. No part darkness. We saw that a twig is in our brother's eye, a huge limb is in our eye. We can see it or not, the huge limb in our eye. This is the dynamics of false judgment. It indicates darkness in our heart. Darkness not only prevents us from seeing clearly what's in our brother's life, but what does darkness also do? It prevents us from seeing clearly our own harm. So we've got a muddy vision whether we look outward or whether we look inward. And guess what? Not only is that true, but if we look into the Word of God with darkness in our heart, we're not going to see light. We're going to see what we want to hear. We're going to come up with a religion that enables God's Word to support and cater our darkness. That's what we'll do. We'll come up with a religion. We'll come up with a set of principles that justify our darkness. And then we say, but it's in the Word. Oh, what a mess. God keep us. God keeps us from such a state. Okay, so we have this dynamic right here going on. Then, in order to be free from this dynamic here, we have to pray that God gives us the power to love light and not to love darkness. Love light and not darkness. Verse 20, for everyone that doeth evil hates the light. Neither cometh to the light lest his deeds should be reproved or his deeds should be exposed. There you go. Ask yourself the question. Are you a lover of light? Now, your answer may be weak. See, this is the world that we live in. We respond based on emotional feelings. Do you really love that girl? Oh, yeah, I really love her. Oh, my goodness. I love her so much. Are you willing to commit yourself to her unconditionally, exclusively? Well, I don't know if I'll go that far. See, do you love light? Oh, yes, I love light. Hallelujah, I'm a lover of light. But does your heart break at every single act or thought or word or deed that comes out of your life that reflects darkness rather than light? Do you break? Does it wound you? If not, guess what? That's why we need grace. That's why we need grace in the Holy Spirit in our life. Every area of our heart which is addicted to some kind of idol is a stronghold of darkness resulting in blindness in both being able to see our own self as well as see clearly when we look out. It's an area of darkness in our life. The only hope that we have in overcoming darkness is what? Light. But not just objective light. Light that you embrace. You see, you can objectively say, oh, I love the light as long as the light is somewhere out there. But when the light seeks to penetrate your kingdom and seeks to behead your idols, something happens. That's where we must become lovers of light. Right there. The true test of a man's love for light is not when he's sitting in a congregation like this and he's singing, I love the light, I love the light, oh Lord, I love the light, for You are the light. But the true test is when throughout the day a light from God's Word, from God's Spirit, or light from someone else shines and exposes a very real area of darkness with that light at that moment. That's what it means to embrace the light. We must come to see how miserable we are, how inclined to darkness we are without our life under the continual influx of the Holy Spirit's power. Christ's beauty, Christ's fullness must be the thing that we are after. Lest we fall back into our own beauty, which is nothing more than fading corruption. Only God can take these foundational truths that we laid just now. We're really ready to go into the heart of the message, which I don't think we're going to really have time to get into deeply. But before we even try to make a transition, only God by the Holy Spirit can awaken us to see our need. How desperate we are for the Holy Spirit to work in our life. And how deeply we need the Word of God and the Holy Spirit working in our life. OK. Please, if you would just as a introduction, we're just going to let the appetite. Please, if you would turn your Bible to turn your Bible to Luke. Please. Luke chapter 12. This is as far as we're going to go this morning, but this will help us next time we get together. This will help us next time we get together. Remember, remember being a lover of light, embracing light. Brothers and sisters, I want to encourage you. Parents, I strongly urge you to ask yourself, am I cultivating a lifestyle in my home with my children that is nurturing them to love light? Embrace light? Or am I nurturing them to simply have an emotional attachment to light? Oh yes, I love light. I'm a Christian. But in actual word and deed, comfortable with darkness. Comfortable with darkness. Please, ask God to show you how to parent and stimulate in your children a love for and a desire for and the capacity to embrace light. Light. Light. Because the world is full of darkness. Now watch this. Luke 12. Beginning in verse 13. And one of the company said to him, Master, speak to my brother that he divide the inheritance with me. And he said unto him, Man, who made me a judge or a divider over you? Now what are we talking about here? We're talking about an inheritance. Two brothers had an inheritance. One of them was upset because the other one apparently was not inclined to share the inheritance with the brother. Now is inheritance part of life? Yes. Is an inheritance part of something that we may have to deal with someday? Yes. Is an inheritance in and of itself evil? No. But is Jesus dealing with the question that was asked him? Or is He dealing with something deeper? He's dealing with something deeper. Watch what he does. Watch what he does. And he said to them, Take heed and beware of covetousness. Now, did they ask Jesus about covetousness? Did they want Jesus to come and give them a lesson on covetousness and greed? Or did they simply want Jesus to talk to the brother and say, Listen, you need to be fair. I mean, let's be reasonable about this, brother. You need to share your inheritance. No, no, no. He immediately went to the harp. Take heed and beware of covetousness. For a man's life consists not in the abundance of the things which he possesses. What did Jesus just say? A man's life does not consist in the abundance of things which he possesses. Wow! Now, let me ask a question here before we go on. Do sons of the kingdom receive earthly inheritances? Yes. Do Gentiles receive earthly inheritances? Yes. What's the essential difference? Gentiles, when they receive their inheritance, their possessions, their money, they... a man's life does not consist in the abundance of things which he possesses. The Gentiles take the things that they have, the things that they receive, and use them as a source of what? Identity. Use them as a source of security. Use them as a means to what? Boasting. Glorying. Oh, look what I have. See, what did Jesus say? Gentiles seek after things. Things. 1 John 2 Love not the world, neither the things of the world. Because those things are not of God. They're going to perish with the world. They're going to perish. We shouldn't set our heart on those things. Now watch. Watch what happens here. Jesus is revealing a blind spot in these guys. And here's where we're going to close. This is where we're going to begin next week. Verse 16-21 reveals to us the need for our minds to be renewed. Mind renewal by the Word of God. Because watch what's happening here. And He spoke in a parable unto them saying, the ground of a certain rich man brought forth plentifully. Okay, is it wrong for a ground to bring forth plentifully? Of course not. Of course not. God promises to bless the diligent, doesn't He? Yeah, okay. Do the grounds of the Gentiles bring forth plentifully? Do the grounds of our sons bring forth plentifully? Of course they do. But here, watch this now. And He what? Thought within Himself. He thought within Himself. What shall I do? Because I have no room where to bestow My fruits. Alright, first of all, He thought. And then secondly, what does it say in verse 18? This will I do. So He went from thought to what? Action. Thought to action. The mind is moving now. I thought I will do. Now do you think this rich man was thinking clearly? What did we just learn? How's the only way to think clearly? If we love light, no part darkness? Huh? Let me say something to you, brothers and sisters. You will not think clearly about anything going on in your life if the heart and the body is full of darkness. You say, God's blessing me! So? So? You're not going to think clearly. Watch. I will pull down My bars and build greater. And there will I bestow all My fruits and My goods. And I will say to my soul, Soul, thou hast much goods laid up for many years. Take thine threes. Eat. Drink. And be merry. We have just looked at a profile of a person who has darkness in their life, whose eye is not single, who cannot clearly see their own life, nor what's going on in the life of others. It's the Laodicean church right here. What does the Laodicean church say? Thou sayest what? I'm rich. I'm increased with goods. I'm in need of nothing. I must build bigger barns. My soul, my soul. Eat. Drink. Live. Enjoy yourself. The blessing of God. But God says, Thou fool! Thou fool! A body full of darkness will be called a fool. But God has said, Thou fool, this night thy soul shall be required of me. Then whose shall those things be which thou hast provided? Listen, so is he that is laying up treasure for himself. For himself. And is not rich toward God. The very next verse. Don't break it up. It's the same thought. The same thought. Watch this. We're going to stop in a moment. Watch. Therefore. What's the word therefore, therefore? It's to connect the previous thought with what Jesus is just about to talk about. Oh, brothers and sisters, please help us, God, to see. Therefore, take no thought for your life. Isn't it interesting that Jesus said take no what? Thought. What did this guy do in verse 17? He thought. Are you seeing? He thought. But what was he thinking on? The very things that God says Gentiles seek for, but sons don't. Now, I don't know how much plainer it could be. Right there's the Word of God. Now beware of this. Beware of this. That can't mean that. It does. Watch. Take no thought. Your life, your food, your body, and your raiment. Okay, brothers and sisters. We're going to bring this to a close now. This is where we're going to pick up next time. Let's just bow our hearts for a few moments. And let God's Word speak to us. Father, we thank You for Your Word. We thank You that it is all-powerful and penetrating. Lord, we know that You are the light and that as Your body, we are called to be children of light with no part darkness. As He is, so are we in this world. The servant shall be as his Master. Not above, but as. Lord, this is what You've said. Now I'm asking, Lord, that You'll take this Word and by the promise of the new covenant, You will stir our hearts to seek You. We give You permission, Holy Spirit, to cut deeply into our lives and to teach us how to be free from darkness so that our eye can be single, our body full of light, and we can be rich toward God. We ask these things, Lord. I just suggest, brothers and sisters, that you go to Father over these issues. Be careful. Be careful about going to your friend. You know, the easiest thing is for someone to talk to what God is saying to you. Especially if they've got darkness in their life. Because what they'll do when you talk to them about the penetrating ray of light, they'll talk it right off you. Oh, I know, that's extreme stuff. But don't worry about it. God doesn't bother me about these things. I mean, I don't feel convicted. I mean, really, He's a bit extreme. That's extreme. Be careful. Go to Father. Go to Father. Say, Father, speak to me through Your Word. Amen? Let's sing that song, Colette, if we could, as we close on. What's the one about the light? I've split my mind. I can't remember. Lord, make us lovers of light. Do you want to be a lover of light? I love light. I want light to conquer me. You know, I want light to conquer me. And I pray that we'll share light with one another and let light stir us all on to be more like Jesus. You know, I do believe that God is going to pour out His glory in the church right before He comes. But He won't pour out His glory in a church that loves darkness. So let's pray. Make us lovers of light, Lord, in Jesus' name. God bless everyone.
