Seldom in history has any form of music created such controversy as rock music. Mick Jagger of the Rolling Stones, you know, he started right up with the Beatles just afterwards, he says, we are moving into the mind and so are many of the newer groups. And tonight I want you to see this, that your mind is under attack and your soul is up for grabs for one of today's most widely known rock artists said that we are after your mind. And we're going to see some tremendous things from the Word of God. I want you, if you have your Bibles tonight, to turn with me to Ezekiel chapter 28 and verse 13. Where does music have its beginnings? We see way back in Genesis, the sons of Tubal, that God is the one that created this beautiful blessing. I think, and I've said a number of times, that I think that music may be one of the second greatest powers in all the world. In fact, I don't know anyone, someone told me just recently, someone that didn't like music. I've never met anyone in my life that didn't like music. And so music affects our lives, it affects our mentality. But we're going to see that Satan, his name was Lucifer, and the son of the morning, he was the anointed cherub that covereth. Now you remember the story that Lucifer is this one that God endowed with great wisdom and power. And you see, we find in Scripture that he's only, he's second in power to God. We know the Bible says that God has all power, Satan has power, but God has all power. And his power far exceeds Lucifer's power, Satan's power, multiplied billions and billions and everlasting from everlasting times. But we see in Scripture that he's under that chain of command, but he fell. And in his rebellion, we see in Ezekiel chapter 28. Now we're going to see something that maybe some of you've never seen, that Satan was created by God, and he was some form of a musical instrument. He had musical abilities within him, and I believe wholeheartedly that Satan, before he fell, his name was Lucifer, he was the anointed cherub that covereth. I believe that he led all the angels of heaven to praise the triune God. I believe that Lucifer was the one that brought this hallelujah chorus before the throne of God. And it says in verse 13, now God's speaking through this corrupted king, he's really speaking of Satan. Thou hast been an Eden, the garden of God. Every precious stone was thy covering. He was a beautiful angel, the Sardis, the Topaz, the Diamond, the Beryl, the Onyx, the Jasper, the Sapphire, the Emerald, and the Carbuncle, and Gold. He was a brilliant, dazzling, shining angel that looks so beautiful. So many times we see these corrupted pictures of Satan. He's the most beautiful creature in all the universe, but we know that his beauty's been corrupted. Now watch it, here we see, he was created, and he had all these beautiful emeralds and diamonds upon him as clothed in this glory. And he said, the workmanship of thy tablets, watch it, and thy pipes was prepared in thee in the day that thou was created. God created Lucifer with unusual music abilities created even within his body. Whatever type of form that he has, we see in the book of Isaiah that one day, that when Satan will be cast into the lake of fire, that humanity will look at him and say, is this the man that caused the world to tremble? They'll be amazed to see that it is just one personality that made the world as a wilderness. But we see that this angel, this fallen angel, has musical abilities. I believe, personally, that from the very beginning that he, since he lost his position in the heavenlies, was cast down from heaven because of his rebellion toward God, that now he is using this musical ability to the destruction of humanity. And I'm convinced that rock music is one of the chief means of indoctrination in Satan's kingdom and the United States of America today and abroad. I believe it is one of the most powerful indoctrination tools, maybe apart from the television set and literature, that affects humanity. You know why? Because Satan has devised a beat that is so sensual. He's devised a beat that is so lustful that moves the young people. They love that beat. They love it. And it just, it causes the adrenaline to flow. And you see, Satan would not give you something that you don't want, that you don't like. He's going to give you something that's pleasurable. And you see, that beat has such a spell on young people today, and so many of them tell me today, well, I don't listen to the lyrics. I'm not listening to the words, but it's just the beat. And that's it. That's the Pied Piper that caused so many young people into listening to rock music because it had such a magnetic draw, such a forceful, alluring pull to it. I remember when I shared with a number of my friends, after I got saved and gave my life to the Lord Jesus Christ, they could give up the drugs, they gave up the world, but there's one thing that they were unwilling to give up, and that was rock music. And unless they gave up the rock music, they would always go back to the world and the drugs because of the effect it has upon the mind, the indoctrination. As we're going to be seeing tonight and tomorrow, around the middle of the century, a new form of music was spawned out of rebellion. A Chicago DJ took a term from the black ghetto community. It meant the act of having sex, and he labeled this kind of music rock music. In 1964, a new style, a new kind of musician came upon the scene, and they changed the world, the Beatles. And it changed everything, and it just brought such a tailspin to America. People didn't know what was taking place. And today, as we study these statistics, we find that rock music is a multi-billion dollar business in America and abroad. Under the present contract, the Rolling Stones are guaranteed at least two million dollars every album that they put out. The average rock album costs $60,000 to produce, and some cost much more. And Stevie Wonder's albums have cost up to $300,000 to produce. And we see that there are over 5,000 rock albums that are produced annually in the United States of America. And popular groups in America today, they are promised that when their records hit the stores, that they will sell a million copies within a day, one day, after they've been exposed to the public. It is a multi-billion dollar business today. But I want you to see tonight, I believe, I'm convinced of it, that not only are the rock stars in for it for fame and fortune, I'm totally convinced that they are also after the souls of humanity, that the religious men, many of them, for the devil. Tonight, I stand before you as an evangelist for the Lord Jesus Christ, heralding his gospel. I believe that many of the rock stars, many of them, are heralding the gospel or the bad news of Satan, and they are preaching the word of the devil, Satan's words, sensuality, wickedness, the occult, sadomasochism, anything under the sun, they're preaching it through the medium of this music. What effect does rock music have? Two identical greenhouses were set up with the same type of plants and environment, and with one exception. In one greenhouse, they had some soft classical music was played, and in the other greenhouse, they played hard rock music, and the statistics says here, or the test that they made, that the plants exposed to the hard music actually wilted, and those exposed to the softer music flourished. One doctor said this, he concluded the study saying that certain forms of rock music heighten stress and anger, and how I've seen it in my past again and again, and they reduce output, increase hyperactivity. There's some that have taken their lives after listening to rock music, many of them, literally just in a frenzy, it will weaken the muscle strength, and many people believe that it plays a very prominent role in juvenile delinquency, because it will literally drive people insane and mad. You know something, I even sensed this just recently, that I was in an apartment in Newton, Kansas, and there was a man next door that was playing rock music. Now, I couldn't listen to any of the lyrics, I didn't hear anything, but I heard that driving beat, over and over again, bump, bump, bump, bump, bump, bump, it was just repetitiously going on, and I felt, it felt my head, I had to hold my head, and get into another room away from it, because it was producing, just, it just felt like an insanity, I had to get away from it, because of that beat just drives on you, and this other doctor has proven, I'm not going to read it tonight, that it even can affect your physical glands and organs, and the flow of your blood, and the pumping of your heart, that this music can stop these stopped anapestics. Many of the popular groups today use the stopped anapestics, and it can affect the flow of your blood in your body. Certain kinds of beats can literally allow organs in your body to be deeply affected, and I believe today, that in the central beat, even the beat alone, without the lyrics, it's a wonder today, that there is so many young people, that have fallen prey to immorality across this nation, and the abortions have raised to an all-time high, because of all these things, is because they cannot contain themselves, because of the central beat, literally drives them mad, and they burn within themselves. You know how music is so important? Plato said this, way back, thousands of years ago, listen to this, Plato said, our music is destroying our country. Can you imagine that? Plato said that? He said, it is the duty of government, to suppress all music of an infiniment, having to do with homosexuality, or lascivious character. Aristotle said this, emotions of any kind, are produced by melody and rhythm, and Andrew Fletcher said this, if I make the ballads, I care not who makes the laws, and from a scientific standpoint, Richard D Pratt said, music has a physical element, which affects the nerves independently, or without the action of intelligence, and one prominent rock star said this, he says, if one kind of music makes you tap your foot, what kind of music makes you double your fist and strike, and another interview, this prominent rock star said this, the loud sounds, the bright lights of today, are tremendous indoctrination tools, it's possible to modify the human chemical structure, with the right combinations and frequencies, and some of these rock stars, have studied it as a scientist, as a very skillful science, of how they can affect their congregations, or the audiences before them, and they can get them to do almost anything, you know, just the loud sounds enough, is enough to kill a person, I had a friend of mine, that probably had the ears of a 70 year old man, because he went to many of the rock concerts, you know, something in my day and hour, for someone to take a soft egg, and take that soft egg, in the beginning of the concert, and put it in front of the speaker, and then midway through the concert, they would take those eggs, and they would be hard-boiled, can you imagine that, what do you think it's doing to the ears, what do you think it's doing to the body, the upheaval, the destruction, of this high decibels, that is just blasting, and driving in your innermost being, in your subconscious mind, listen to this, now we have, right away, we're going to go into two things, and you've heard it, the sublineal seduction, or the backward masking, a number of years ago, this is unheard of, and one man, called Michael Mills, and some other people, began to share, and expose, the hidden satanic messages, in rock music, but you know something, you don't have to expose the hidden messages, just the messages that are obvious, is nothing short than an abomination, in the sight of God, a deploring abomination, the sight of a triune God, but he began to travel across the United States of America, and exposing these sublineal messages, below the subconscious hearing level, all right, let me give you an illustration of what I mean sublineal, all right, you can go into some stores, and I don't know if it's legal anymore, that they would have songs playing over the speaker system, but underneath those songs, you couldn't pick it up with a conscious ear, but the subconscious ear, could pick it up, and it says, don't steal anything, you'll go to jail, don't steal anything, you go to prison, shoplifters go to prison, and they found out, and they took surveys, and they found that shoplifting, drastically fell, whenever they had these sublineal messages, they're also sublineal pictures, and there are a lot of sublineal pictures, on the album covers, that would literally amaze you, Michael, as I shared, travels around the nation, and he blows up the rock album covers, maybe six or seven times or more, and shows sublineal pictures, with occultic symbols, or something that is used to indoctrinate the eyes of those, who gaze at the album covers, and it is mind-boggling to say the least, I saw this presentation, and you should have seen the fear, that fled through the hearts of all those that saw it, could see that Satan is so actively trying to work against this generation, the sublineal pictures, and the sublineal words underneath, but then there's the backward masking, what does that mean, that certain albums played backwards, have messages, and many of them, I used to carry a tape with me, I have the actual messages at home, and they've been recorded frontwards, it was done backwards, and then it was recorded, and many of these albums, trying to get people to worship Satan, or crying out that Satan, he is Lord, he is God, Black Oak, Arkansas, doing this, and with the Beatles, there was a lot of backward masking, and sublineal seduction, and many of these things, and since then, you see, America has been awakened, America has been amazed, and appalled, because not only are evangelists, and Christians speaking out against this wicked music, also, we find that people in governmental authority, in places, in the high places, are trying to label these albums, and say, dangerous lyrics in these albums, and they're even trying to get to the point, where children cannot listen to these albums, because they are highly susceptible to the indoctrination of those lyrics, and they've proven beyond a shadow of a doubt, listen to this, did you know, I want you to hear this, every piece of information that is gathered by the brain, is constantly being examined by the subconscious, for meaning, and it says here, this one man said this, 90% of what goes on in your brain, is at the subconscious level, and can't readily be seen, or heard, but all of this information is stored, or kept on file, for future reference, and the same man said, that the subconscious mind has total recall, that means, that all these albums, and all this music, that you listen to, you see, is playing in your hearts, constantly, 24 hours a day, and you see, you read your Bible for 10 or 15 minutes a day, and you listen to rock music for three times, three, three hours, or four hours, who's going to prevail in your life, and what's true of rock music, is true of other kinds of music, such as country music, and other music, that has just been so degraded through the years, and they have proven, doctors have proven, and I have this clipping here, from a newspaper article, in Muskegon, Michigan, someone brought it up to me, and said, John, you've got to read this, rock satanic messages studied, this is not in a Christian periodical, this was in my newspaper, in Muskegon, Michigan, Sacramento, California, members of the state assembly's consumer protection, and toxic materials committee, listened intently, to Led Zeppelin's rock music, played backwards, perceptible, in the backward tape, stairway to heaven, were mumbled words, such as, here to my sweet Satan, I live for Satan, again and again, I remember before I was saved, I love that song, and this one man said, William Yarrow, of Aurora, Colorado, he studies the brain, extensively, and he told members, that the subconscious mind, can decipher the messages, even if the record is played forward, and Yarrow contended, the scientist, that studies the brain, that the messages placed there, by the rock stars, in league with the church of Satan, are accepted by the brain as facts, let's listen to it again, this is not an evangelist, I'm quoting verbatim, from a scientist, he says, that the messages placed there, by the rock stars, in league with the church of Satan, are accepted by the brain as fact, and he went on to say, that it will fashion, and it will change their lives, and you can have no power over it, because your mind controls you, one professor from the University of Wisconsin, in Madison, Wisconsin, said, he says, scientists have believed, and they have proven, that the mind can think backwards, and forwards, and it can decipher all of these messages, now what are the rock stars up to, are they really into it more than just the money, are they trying to indoctrinate your mind, are they trying to preach something in your subconscious, all right, listen to this, I want you to hear, a verbatim excerpt, from one of the prominent rock stars, of this past generation, you listen to him, in a special article in Life magazine, this rock star said this, atmospheres are going to come through music, because music is a spiritual thing of its own, and you can hypnotize people with the music, and when you get them to their weakest point, you can preach into their subconscious, what we want to say, that's why the name electric church, still quoting, that's why the name electric church, flashes in and out, the music flows from the air, and that's why I can connect with the spirit, I had a very strange feeling, that I was here for something, and I was going to get a chance to be heard, did you notice what this prominent rock star said, first of all he said, music is spiritual, it is a spiritual thing of its own, and then he also says, we are preaching to the subconscious mind, and what are they preaching, and then he says, that he can connect with the spirit, and then he said, we can preach, and he talked about the electric church, that flashes through the air, you know the other night, we talked about overcoming the cues of the brethren, and Satan is titled the prince, and the power of the air, that he moves through the air, listen to what one prominent rock star said this, music is a popular way for conditioning the way people think, Mick Jagger's, I've already quoted him, even though he's an oldie, their albums still, they sell multiplied millions, and probably in the billions of dollars, worth of albums annually, he says, listen, we are moving into the mind, and so are most of the newer groups, and the review talking about another prominent rock star, it says this, they use the relentless rhythms to drive home their message, to hypnotically pulsate it until you're picking it up sublineal, two doctors examining rock albums made these conclusions, this has been as I said, a constant study with scientists, and people as I'm saying, unsaved people of awakening up, and I would to God that Christians would wake up, moms and dads would wake up, and teenagers would wake up, Dr. Granville Knight said this, there's no question in my mind about the hypnotic effect of these songs, hypnotic induction by means of these records could easily place young children in the most receptive mood for suggestions of various sorts, Dr. W.J. Bryant's children are being hypnotized without their knowledge, and that's the real insidious part about these records, the more often the hypnotism is repeated, the higher the suggestibility of the subject, and that subject is indoctrinated into their innermost being, and what are they trying to communicate? Alright, if we see that they know the laws of the mind, you see Satan is masterful, and we're going to see tomorrow night that the heart, or the mind, is his target, it's his battlefield, if he can indoctrinate your mind, he's got you, if he can get you to believe a lie, he's got you, and he can destroy your life, it's all in the mind, Paul says, the powers of dark and light clash in the mind, 2nd Corinthians 10, 3 through 6, listen, for though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh, because the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty, through God to the pulling down of strongholds, what are the strongholds? Casting down imaginations, and a revained thing that exalted itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing to the captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ, because one thought can destroy you, do you know one book changed Hitler, and turned him into a madman, and do you know how many atheists and skeptics and infidels, that you can trace their life back to one article, or a book that they read, or a music, or a song that they listen to them, that changed their life, an alright, that is recorded in the heart, playing in the heart constantly, what are they going, and what are they promoting, they are promoting drug abuse, constantly, I could give you so many different rock stars that are promoting drug abuse, and we see it again and again, now I'm going back a few years, but I want you to see the transitional period that took place, during this transitional period, when the Beatles came on the scene, now they brought in, as I've already shared, a new kind of music, America wasn't used to it, and it drove people, and some of the things that people did in teenagers, and girls did in front of their performances, is appalling, but there was a power behind their music, and I believe it was the power of the evil one, you know something, I used to like the Beatles song, this is before I was saved, my sweet Lord, because it reminded me, I thought of God, and I found later on, that they was not singing for Jesus Christ, but they were singing to Harlech Krishna, and they were worshiping him, and in the hallelujah chorus, at the end of that song, it says all glory, and at the bottom of that album cover, after I was saved, I went over some of my album covers, and I saw, it said all glories to Harlech Krishna, a false God, an Eastern God, and they were worshiping these false gods, but you see music started out, pop music kind of started out like bubblegum, the Beatles said, I want to hold your hand, and then it got into immorality, or sensuality, and the Rolling Stones said, let's spend the night together, and they began to preach this through their music, the sensuality, and the lewdness, and the sinfulness, and then it got worse, as time school went on, more drug abuse, constantly preached through their albums, and then it got into sadomasochism, as it began just recently, about I'd say a decade ago, to begin to bring out the sadomasochism, where they began to sing about beating one another, and having sexual relationships, and they're even selling these paraphernalia, this paraphernalia in many stores across America, and then it got worse, and then I saw a change when I got out of the rock scene, into homosexuality, that many of the rock stars began to dress like women, they began to put makeup on, on the album covers, and many of them began to preach homosexuality through their albums, you would be amazed to see today, how many of the prominent rock stars that our young people listen to, claim, and they make no bones about it, that they are bisexual, or they are homosexuals, anyone that looks on any of the rock albums, I don't even want to look at them, it's just a terrible thing, it's gross to see their face, makeup, and lipstick, and yet today, young people are worshipping these young people, they're worshipping these rock stars, God says stay from idolatry, idolatry, and then we see that they went into the sadomasochism, and then they began of late, and I would say at least in the last six or seven years now, one group started before that, and Blue Oyster Cult, and Black Sabbath, and some of the others were preaching Satanism through their albums, but within the last, I'd say six years, there has been a heavy bombardment of the occult and Satanism through many rock albums, in fact many of them today are talking about, they've given their souls to rock and roll, and they're on their highway to hell, they sing it all the time, I was amazed to hear just recently over the television, that Ozzy Osbourne was singing, and they have a song glorifying death, and one young man went home and committed suicide with the headphones on his ears, and his parents are trying to sue them right now, because of what they're doing, and they believe that listening to that concert, listening to that song, led to their son's suicide, but today they are blatantly worshipping Satan, and the lyrics today are literally mind-boggling, how many lyrics that we have written down, I have recorded, that I don't have right now, of how many of them have claimed that they are in league with the devil, you know something, these rock stars are not singing, I've sold my soul for rock and roll for nothing, they have literally gone to the first church of Satan in California, and they have gone, and they've gone through a ceremony, and they have offered sacrifices for Satan, and blood sacrifices to Satan, and they have gone through a ritual, and they have yielded their soul to Satan, Satan they say, we will give our souls to you for eternity, if you will give us power and prominence with the young people of this generation, and many of them I read of one, and it just to me, it astonishes me, I could never get over to see how the Satan knows that he has but a little season, and he's after humanity, and he's after the young people of this generation, so many young people today, you very ever seldom find young people on fire for God today, have you ever wondered why, you see that's what hit Michael Mills, he was a youth director, and he says there's something wrong with the youth of this generation, he says there seems to be a wall that I cannot penetrate, I can't understand it, there's something wrong, there's something around them, I can't get to them, and he prayed, and he cried out to God, show me, show me, and God began to expose the satanic messages in rock music, and now he's traveling around America, and he's been doing it for years, exposing it, and many young people have been set free, the album Sergeant Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band was given a five-page review by Time magazine way back in 1967, and they said that it was literally drenched with drugs, you wonder why drugs came into America around that time, I remember that's when the drugs began to filter into the system, oh I want to tell you something, I have watched this music, and I followed it, and I've studied it, and I've seen how today drug abuse is at an all-time high, Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds, we're going back in time with LSD, Hey Jude says remember let her under your skin, some of you even older tonight remember that, he was talking about injecting cocaine and heroin into the sleeve, into the arm, the magical mystery tour declared roll up your sleeve, roll up your sleeve, the magical mystery tour is coming to take you away, and John Lennon himself in an interview said that the Beatles were pushing drugs through their music, John Lennon himself said we are pushing drugs through our music, a quotation here, now I want to show you from the book of the Revelation of Jesus Christ that God predicted that drug abuse would prevail close to the end of the world, and that it would come, and I want you to see something that maybe some of you have never seen before, here we see in the book of Revelation chapter 9, and then I'm going to go to chapter 21, chapter 9 first of all, and verse 20, now you remember this is during the tribulation hour, and the judgments of God are being poured out upon the earth, the demons of hell spew out of the bottomless pit, and they are tempting men, and they are assailing men, and their God's wrath is poured out upon humanity, now watch it in verse 20, and the rest of the men which were not killed by these plagues, yet repented not of the works of their hands, that they should not worship demons, I believe that many young people are worshipping demons today through rock music, I believe that their powers unseen powers behind that music, and they are worshipping demons, and the idols of gold, and silver, and brass, and stone, and wood, they say well listen the rock star is not my idol, oh yeah, how much time do you spend in the Bible, in one week, in prayer, and meditation upon Christ, and how much time do you spend listening to rock music, that will show you who's the Lord of your life, all right now in verse 21, God says these men that are being, going through these judgments, and these vile judgments, neither repented they of their murderers, nor of their sorceries, now I want you to underscore that word sorceries, it's the same word in the Greek that we get pharmacy from, pharmakia, and it says that these men, that even though during the tribulation hour, God is going to judge them, with these demon powers, and these demon spirits, and the earth is going to be consumed with fires, and contamination of blood, and a holocaust, and wars, and adversity, yet these people will not repent of their drug abuse, that word sorcery means drug abuse in the Greek, you can look it up, you get your vines Greek concordance, it's an easy thing for anyone to do, and you'll find that during the end of the world, that humanity is going to be on one big high, now in Revelation chapter 21, now we see here that in verse 21, in the grammatical construction of that verse, is talking about those who take drugs, those who are taking drugs, they will have their part in a lake of fire, which burneth with fire and brimstone, now in verse 8 of chapter 21, is speaking about drug pushers, and verse 8, but the fearful and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, it's the same word, but this is a drug pusher, he who peddles drugs, and pushes drugs, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in a lake which burneth with fire and brimstone, which is the second death, both of these words you studied out for yourselves, you'll see that close to the end of the world, and my friends, I want to tell you something, tonight the United States of America is high on drugs, you know something, I remember the power of a rock album, because this one rock star said, getting high every day, hope you all are too, I heard that so many times, as I listened to that rock album, so many times, and I remember that it began to break down the walls in my heart, he gets high, I said, and I heard that in my mind all the time, why don't I just get high all the time, getting high all the time, hope you all are too, heard it again, and again, and again, until I began to be that person, you know something real strange, when I was unsaved, I began to hitchhike around with my knapsack, I was running away from God, running away from my parents, running away from authorities, but something strange took place, something unusual took place in my travels, everywhere that I went, I would find hippies, you know hippies gravitate toward hippies, everywhere I went, if I went to the big cities, went to the small cities, but you know something that was unusual, everywhere I went, they talked the same way, what's happening man, what's going on, how things going, where's the party, and they used the same words, even if I went back to ten buck two, back there with a few hundred people in a little town, they all talked the same way, they used the same language, they said the same things, why, how could that take place, go to other states in the place of America, they're being indoctrinated by the music, they got their language, they got their lingo from the rock albums, and they all talk the same, and even before I was saved, I began to see that Satan was indoctrinating the minds of humanity, oh there's so many things, so many of the rock stars in the past have died through drug abuse, and I told you before when I gave my personal testimony, that many of the musicians that I hung around that were playing rock music, they could not play unless they were under the fluence of drugs, you know why, because drugs is always linked with witchcraft and sorcery, and the Old Testament times, and we see in the New Testament times, you study church history, that witchcraft and sorcery is always connected, or witchcraft in drug abuse, and I could go on and list many of them that died over drug abuses here, many of them in my head, I'm not going to take the time tonight, in one leading paper, I think it was, if I'm not mistaken, Time magazine, if I'm not mistaken, it said in big words, rock and roll a medium for violence in troubled times, that's another thing, not only is rock and roll preaching drug abuse, but it's also promoting violence, you know what that tells me, this, do you remember in the Bible, in the New Testament, and in the Old Testament, we see that God had to destroy the earth, God had to bring a flood through Noah, and you remember in those days where God spared Noah and ate souls, and you remember the story, because the land, the earth was filled with violence, and every imagination of man was wicked and vile and sinful, but God said that he had to destroy the earth because of the violence, I want to tell you something, you look at some of these lyrics, you read some of these lyrics, and they are just filled, jam-packed to the brim, and flowing over with violence, as I've already shared, sadomasochism, one rock star said this, listen to this one rock star, listen, please listen to this, in a magazine, Youth Aflame, they quoted the manager of a top rock band, saying, our program is cultural revolution through total assault, we breathe revolution, we will do anything to drive people crazy out of their heads, and into their bodies, rock and roll music is the spearhead of our attack, because it is so effective and so much fun, we don't have guns yet, not all of us anyway, this leading rock star says, we have more powerful weapons, direct access to the minds of millions of teenagers is one of our most potent, and their belief in us is another, now can you imagine that, that is not an evangelist speaking, that's not a scientist, that's one of the prominent rock stars today that some of you are listening to, Paul Kenton said this, with his group, and he said this, our music is intended to broaden the generation gap to alienate children from their parents and to prepare people for the coming revolution, another rock star said this, rebellion is the basis of our group, I tell you that's amazing, Ted Nugent, and he's still around, and he says rock and roll is the perfect method of releasing our violent instincts, listen to the lyrics of one song, we don't need no education, we don't need no thought control, no dark sarcasm in the classroom, teachers leave the kids alone, hey teacher, leave us kids alone, all in all it's just another brick in the wall, all in all you're just another brick in the wall, and their mothers and fathers that say tonight, oh my daughters and my sons they listen to it, but that's up to them, and I want to tell you, it's like allowing a vicious serpent to be in their bedroom, and sex, the promoting of sex again and again, we see that today, I have read a statistic here that one out of three boys today will contact gonorrhea by the time of 25, because of the immorality today, and the abortions that I've shared by the thousands, and you know something, rock music is synonymous with sex, it is synonymous with sex, many of you parents tonight would not allow your teenager to look at a playboy magazine, or look at some vile magazine, but you will let them listen to something that is far worse in their ears, musical pornography, that just flows in their minds, the filth and violence and wickedness, listen to this one prominent rock star, he said this, rock and roll is 99% sex, another rock star said this, Johnny Bristol told Billboard, sex is where it's at in music, and you ought to read some of these other things that I wouldn't even read in a public auditorium, but you know, you say John, some of these things are amazing, but you know something, some of these kids, 6, 7, 12 and 13, listen to it every day, and you don't even know it, and their subconscious mind picks up 90% of it, subconscious mind has the power for total recall, and then listen to this, lead guitarist for Blondie added, everyone takes it for granted that rock and roll is synonymous with sex, here in US news and world report, a flood, and they were appalled of x-rated music, hits the airwaves, concert halls, and record shops, and here US news and report tried to alarm parents across America, that is violence and sex and wickedness, and then the dancing that is associated with music, listen to what Mick Jagger says, do you know who Mick Jagger is, they call him the Lucifer of rock and roll, because he sings so much about Satan, and his concerts he chants to Satan, Mick Jagger said this, all dancing is replacement of sex, discos come in and it's going out, what they say in these statistics here, scientists in Massachusetts, they played disco music to white mice, and after a specified period of time, some of them became blind, and many of them became homosexual, can you imagine that, and did you know that 75% of all the discos were either gay or straight, owned or operated, in the United States of America, can you imagine that, with animals, this kind of music, turning these mice into homosexuals, that music has that kind of power, now listen folks, I'm not quoting from things that I've dug up in my own mind, I am quoting from leading scientists, leading doctors, and the rock stars themselves, God has condemned these things, homosexuality and perversion, and I'm reading, you need not turn there, you see, it's an abomination in the sight of God, and some of these young people, they just listen to these guys, it doesn't matter what they look like, wherefore God gave them up to uncleanness, through the lust of their own hearts, to dishonor their own body, besides themselves, between themselves, who changed the truth of God into a lie, who worshipped and served the creature, more than the creator, who is blessed forever, for this cause, God gave them up, to their vile affections, the Bible says that man will go so far in sin, and God will say, I give you up, you've gone too far, and they get like the Sodomites in Sodom Gomorrah, and for this cause, because they rejected God's word again and again, in the gospel, God gave them up to their vile affections, for even women did change their natural use into that which is against nature, and likewise also men, leaving the natural use of women burned in their lust, one toward another, men with men, working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves the recompense of the error, which is meat, even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do things which are not convenient, filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetous, maliciousness, full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, whispers, backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, God says that those people will be lost in hell forever, and that is one of the most vivid pictures of the rock stars that you'll see in Romans chapter 1. Oh my friends, I want to tell you something, it is an awful thing, God says that fornicators, adulterers, infeminate and abusers of themselves with mankind shall not inherit the kingdom of God. I am amazed, as I shared with many of you just recently, that there's been so many graves that have been robbed from dead corpses, and you know something satanic in it, that they are even using the members of certain dead corpses in their satanic rituals, but the lyrics of this one song by a prominent rock star seems to imply that some of these rock stars have had sexual relationships with dead bodies. Listen to this, one thing I meet, miss, is cold ethyl in her skeleton kiss. We met last night, making love by the refrigerator light, let me hold you and squeeze you in my arms. One thing, no lie, ethyl's frigid as an Eskimo pie. She oughta because she's dead. And he goes on to say, I love the dead, before they're cold, they're bluing flesh for me to hold. Cadaver eyes upon me see nothing. I love the dead before they rise. No farewells, no goodbyes. I've never even knew your rotting face. You see, I never knew your rotting face, they robbed him from the grave. While friends and lovers mourn your silly grave, I've other uses for you, darling. We love the dead. And I believe that many of these men, and we should pray for them and love them, we shouldn't hate them, we need to pray for them to get saved, amen? Sometimes I get so angry that I could just, I could just stomp up and down when I see what they're trying to do. But then I say, Lord, you take that righteous indignation, even as our Lord and Father, may it be an incentive to pray for these men and get them before Christ, because some of them have been saved after hearing messages like this. They didn't know, some of them, even what they were controlled by another power and delivered by the powers of darkness. Oh, I tell you, there's so many things, the cult that has spread through. You see, it says here, listen, in Deuteronomy 18, Ted, some parents need to listen to this. You need not turn there, I'll read it to you. There shall not be found among you anyone that maketh his son or daughter pass through the fire, or useth denovation, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch, or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, necromancer, for all these abominations the Lord of thy God doth drive them out before thee. God says that there shall not be found one among you that shall cause his son or daughter to pass through the fire. I believe that indirectly that parents, because their standards have gone down and they've allowed such abominations in their home, that they're allowing their children to be and pass through the fire because of the witchcraft that is being preached through these albums. Listen to this. Many groups are preaching their gospels, as I've already shared, and teaching the philosophies of their religion through their music. And Newsweek, this one man said this, this one prominent rock star, he says, I let the Spirit play me. It's an intense delight in my role as a musician to make everyone aware of his own divinity. Another rock star was interviewed and he said, one night we were all playing and suddenly the Spirit entered into me and I was playing, but it was no longer me playing. And I have before me tonight, I'm not going to take the time, but I have before me, you see, after I got saved, I began to look after I got saved and came to the Lord Jesus Christ. I looked at some of the rock albums. I found all these occult symbols on them. I said, what do they mean, Lord? I don't understand it. I found out that some of these men are worshipping the same gods that the children of Israel worshipped when they fell away from God. And do you know something? Some of these symbols go all the way back to the Tower of Babel. And they are worshipping some of the same gods that the Egyptians worshipped in Egypt. There's nothing new under the sun. These religions just carry through the centuries. Men are worshipping Satan through all these different religions. And you would be amazed to read some of the explanations of some of these symbols on these rock albums that can even affect your mind sublineal. Listen to this. The occult. Another lead singer of the group Meat Loaf said, when I go on stage, I get possessed. And there's something dangerous, he says, to our songs. And the drummer from group Kirin said, Jim Jerbanker, he's gone, I think, if I'm not mistaken. That was one of the ones that died of a drug overdose. He said this. He says, it happens to us quite often. It feels as though I'm not playing my instrument. Something else is playing it. And that same thing is playing all three of our instruments, referring to the rest of the group. That's what I mean when I say it's frightening sometimes. Maybe we all play the same phrase out of nowhere. He says it happens very often to us. I shared with a number of you during my personal testimony that before I came to the precious Lord Jesus Christ, and he delivered me from this kind of a life, that my fingers under the influence of drugs would go up and down that lead guitar and that rhythm guitar, and I did not know what power was moving those fingers. Listen to that. He says it happens to us many times. Often, he says, the spirit comes upon us, and we play. And in another interview of Rolling Stone magazine, David Bowie, he's been on and off the scene over and over again, and he's still one of the prominent rock stars today. He had this to say, rock and roll has been really bringing me down lately. It's a danger. And he said, rock has always been the devil's music, and you cannot convince me that it isn't. You know, I wish I could convince some teenagers that tonight. You know, the rock star says, rock has always been the devil's music, and you can't convince me that it isn't. That's his words. Listen to the lyrics of the Lucifer of rock and roll. He says, down in the graveyard, the wind kind of crisp. The air smells sweet. The air smells sick. He never smiles. His mouth merely twists. The breath in my lungs feels clammy and thick. I know that his name is called Mr. D. Singing for the devil. Dancing with Mr. D. And one of these days, he's going to set you free, he says. Isn't that a wicked lie? Isn't it a wicked lie? Satan can send nobody free, because he's going to be cast in the lake of fire. And everyone that denies Jesus Christ is not born again. They will be cast in the lake of fire with Satan. That's why he's so angry against the church in this hour. And he goes on to say, human skulls is hanging right around his neck. The palm in my hands is clammy and wet. Lord, I was dancing, dancing, dancing so pretty. Dancing, dancing so pretty. Dancing, Lord, keep your hand off me. Dancing with Mr. D. Dancing with the devil. If I read some of these things here about the different symbols, it would amaze you to see these different things. Listen to another rock star that said this. Highway to Hell, as I've already shared. I don't know why so many of them are singing it, but for this one reason, is that many of them have made a pact with the devil and they've literally sold their souls for rock and roll. Living easy, living free. Season ticket on a one-way ride. Asking nothing, leave me be. Take your love and stay out of my sight. Probably talking about Christians. Don't need no reason. Don't need no rhyme. Ain't nothing I'd rather do. Going down for the time. My friends are going to be there too, the rock star says. But you won't see them. It'll be outer darkness. I'm on the Highway to Hell. On the Highway to Hell. Highway to Hell. I'm on the Highway to Hell. No stop signs, speed limits. Nobody's gonna slow me down like a wheel gonna spin it. No one's gonna mess me around. Hey, Satan, pay my dues. What dues is he talking about? Power and prominence in this generation. Pay it on a rockin' band. Hey mama, look at me. I'm on my way to the promised land. I'm on the Highway to Hell. And he says, Satan, give me the power now in this generation. He says because I'm going to Hell forever, give me the power now. Singing it. Listen to what this one group said and you've heard Kiss and they've changed through the years and they've been called Satan's Kings and Satan's Service. Listen to them. You wanna know who they worship? Listen to it. The lyrics. Now you see, some of you say tonight, I don't wanna hear these things. Your children listen to them every day. Every day. On the radio. On the rock, on the albums and the cassettes. Every day. Every day. Every day. Hours a day. God of thunder, you've got something about you. You've got something I need. Daughter of Epaphrodite, hear my words and take heed. I was born on Olympus till my father was sold. I was raised by the demons trained to reign as the old. God of thunder and rock and roll. Who's the God of rock and roll? The spell that you're under will slowly rob your virgin soul. I'm the Lord of the Wasteland, a modern day man of steel. I gather darkness to please me and I command thee to kneel before the God of thunder and rock and roll. The spell that you're under will slowly rob your virgin soul. Who's the God of rock and roll? Satan. Even the rocket stars mention it and they don't make any bones about it. They say that Satan is the God of rock and roll. In Ezekiel 28 we saw the tablets and the trembles were made in Satan. You need to realize, young people, that Satan wants to take away your Christianity. He wants you to make your life miserable. He wants to destroy you. He wants to kill you. And if you're not saved, he wants to take you to the hell that he's going to. Because you know the Bible says, and the devil that deceived them, in Revelation chapter 20. The devil that deceived who? Humanity. All of humanity. And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are and shall be tormented day and night forever and ever. I saw a great white throne, John said. It hasn't happened yet, but he saw it. He said, I saw a great white throne and him that sat up from whose face the earth and heaven fled away and there was found no place for them. I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God. And the books were opened. And another book was opened, which is the book of life. And the dead were judged out of those things which are written in the books according to the works. See, he gave up the dead which are in it. And death and hell delivered of the dead which are in them. And they were judged, every man, according to the works. And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And whosoever is not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire. These men are preaching hell and singing about hell. But I want to tell you something. As the Bible of Jesus depicted such a scene of hell, it's nothing to be belittled in your minds. Because it's a real place of destruction, of outer darkness. You remember the story, and I'm closing. You remember the story that Jesus told about a certain rich man and a beggar. And there was a certain rich man which was clothed in purple and fine linen. And he fared sumptuously every day. And there was a certain beggar named Lazarus laid at his gate full of sores and desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man's table. Moreover, the dogs came and licked his sores. And it came to pass that the beggar died and was carried by the angels into Abraham's bosom. The rich man also died. And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments. And he seeth Abraham afar off. And he cried out. He said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me. And send Lazarus that he may take the tip of his finger and put it in water and cool my tongue. For I am tormented in this flame. But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime you received your good things, and likewise Lazarus evil. But now he is comforted, and you are tormented. He said, Beside all this is the great gulf thick, so that we which would pass to you and you that would pass to us cannot. And then the man cried, Burning and blazing in hell fire that these rock stars sing about. And he cried out. And he said, Then Father Abraham, send Lazarus to my brethren. I've got five brothers that they may hear the gospel that he may testify unto them, lest they also come to this place of torment. And Abraham said to the rich man as he was screaming and crying, They have Moses and the prophets. Let them hear them. The man cried out, No, Father Abraham, just take Lazarus, please. Don't let them come to this place of torment. In the book of the Revelation, John said, The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation. And they shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, in the presence of the Lamb. And they have no rest day nor night, but the smoke of their torment ascendeth up forever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever. You believe tonight that we're in the very last hours of the last days and Satan is making one final plunge because he knows that he has but a little season. And so he's using music that is energized by the powers of darkness like a pied piper to draw the youth of this generation from God, to take them down the pathway to hell that the rock stars sing about every head bowed, every eye closed. No one looking around. God has spoken to you tonight. You need to obey the Holy Spirit. You need to say, Yes, Lord, and don't argue and rationalize and reason in your mind.
